Hello! I'm that anon who once asked you about the lots you use in your gameplay and whether you built them all. I'm so impressed that you create most of them yourself! But ever since you replied to that question, I've been trying to envision a lot for one of my upcoming gameplays, but I'm struggling to fully see it in my mind, so I was wondering if you'd mind giving some tips on your process of building your lots. Building is my weakest skill in the game, but I want to give it a try!
hello again anon!! i'm very flattered u think it's impressive 🥺 i truly love creating spaces for these guys! i'll try my best to kinda go into my process but be warned.. like anything else i do it's pretty much just chaos/winging it dkjsdkj (it'd be much easier if i used floorplans or smth simple so i could be like, here do this! but alas...)
okay i'm prolly gonna ramble a lot here but i mostly base my builds off random visions/future scenes that pop into my head or straight up vibes.. which isn't very helpful ik but hopefully if i explain it'll make a bit more sense!
so with Oscar's house above i knew i wanted it to be BIG, but i didn't want it to feel like a mansion they couldn't afford so i added some other houses on the lot and just gave em the biggest plot! i also knew i wanted it to be symmetrical, but only from the outside cos i wanted it to feel slightly chaotic on the inside, also hence the random tower addition on the left and the sunroom on the right.. like it used to be a big grand symmetrical "mansion" (prolly at the time it was built) but over the years kinda ended up as a convoluted mess left to rot until someone rescued it (yay for Oscar's impulsivity 🤸♀️) AND IT NEEDED AN ATTIC!! u kno cos where else would Clementine live?? 👻
so really i had no inspo pics or house plan layouts to go off here, just a vibe and an idea, i started with a rough shape and worked out all the kinks from there, then added the other lots.. be prepared to hate your wip and start over tho cos ig it's all part of the fun!
here we have an actual wip to use as an example! so with this one i basically knew i wanted a wrap around style house around a "courtyard" but since mt. komo is shit and doesn't have any decent sized lots we'll have to go with an L-shaped design and a third floor ig 😩 i started with the ground floor and just pissed around with the others until i ended up with smth just right, like anything else i do, building is just ruminating on an idea until i'm like.. yeah that works sdkjskj.. also handy to place the bare minimum furniture items as u go to get a feel of how the space does or doesn't work so u can fix it n stuff!
also feel free to make shit look strange if it works, for example these window placements look weird as hell on the outside, but real life houses aren't always symmetrical or perfect on the outside and we spend most of our time on the inside where the windows make perfect sense so.. yeah! i'm big on views from the INSIDE of the house so i just make stuff work, also big fan of using ivy/wall decs n stuff to "fix" the way it might look on the outside if needs be too..
the school i made for Robin n' co. was entirely built around this pool (cos it's IMPORTANT) and the fact that it had to have a glass roof (it just HAD to ok idk why but we must kneel to the vision when it strikes 🧎♀️) i tried to make the rest of it make sense around it tho, like maybe it was added on afterward so the rest is a pretty standard shape with offices n shit near the entrances etc.. ALSO (wait i actually need to explain smth else before we get to this also BUT BEAR WITH ME!)
ask yourself some questions (if u want? or just dl a house idk dskjdk)
i treat building similarly to writing and that means asking yourself some questions.. like you might ask why a character is doing/saying something, what happened in the past to make them this way? what're they aiming for in the future to choose these paths etc etc.. WELL.. what's this building for, who is it for, who chose to live here, who got stuck here, why do they like it, why do they hate it, etc etc.
we either get stuck somewhere we hate and it doesn't suit us, or we're lucky enough to choose somewhere that we love, but why? Oscar's house is sprawling and chaotic because they kinda are, and it suits them! all the random cupboards leading nowhere and the quirky additions are just perfect for them, if they were real people looking for a real house they'd view it and LOVE it, but other characters definitely would NOT 😅
the wip is neat and practical cos the people who're gonna live there are! 👀
and the school (see we got to that ALSO eventually) has that huge "grand" courtyard at the front that's actually pretty useless because it's a shitty comprehensive school that wants to give the image that it's decent, but actually it's a bit shit and there's nothing going on in the back, nowhere for the kids to play outside and very limited resources/equipment for them either.. like everything is built the way it is for a reason, which is why i think i find it so impossible to use other ppls builds, cos they don't fit all these visions in my mind...
ok i'm gonna shut up now but i HOPE this rambling mess somewhat explains how i go about starting a build and why.. i'm not sure i can help with the vision part since your brain is your own but floorplan websites and things like pinterest or even just google images are great for giving you ideas if you're struggling!

That night, at the exact time of too late, Heart opens his door without permission and slips into Mind’s bed as if it’s his own.
Casually, Heart presses his lips to Mind’s neck. “(You want this, right?)”
Mind should say no, but that would be one of the worst lies Mind has ever told.
“[Yes.]” Somehow he can keep the “please,” trapped in his mouth, but the word still sounds like a plea.
Heart doesn’t hesitate before he bites. That sentence sums up Heart as a whole - Mind would think, if he were capable of thinking much at all.
“[Why do you want this?]” Why do you want me? After everything I’ve done?
Heart just hums. His mouth is occupied.
When Heart lifts his head, Mind’s color on his lips, he responds. “(I’m a violent person.)”
“[That doesn’t mean you have to do this.]”
Heart drops his head back down to the junction of Mind’s neck and shoulder. “(What if I’m just hungry, if you want an explanation so much?)”
“[Why do you want me?]” Mind immediately regrets the question. It was genuine, so genuine it scalds.
Heart sighs. “(Listen, there are some emotions that can’t be explained, and some things you are never meant to know, and this is both.)”
“[Try for me.]”
“(There was never any option, with you. I could never have not loved you if I had tried. We will live together until we die together.)” Heart tilted Mind’s head forward. “(Kiss me?)”
Heart’s lips were just as soft on Mind’s as they were on Mind’s neck. Mind could taste nothing but his blood. It was appropriate, for Heart. Exactly as he would’ve imagined.
“(Do you love me?)”
“[It’s as you said. There was never any other option.]”
“(Do you want to die?)”
Mind hesitates. “[Of course not.]” He needs to be sure about this. One of them needs to want life, after all.
Would his death be pretty? It would be, if Heart did it. Blood pouring down like rain from the sky, like something natural, something right. Heart’s love and its endpoint. All of a sudden, Mind’s mouth is dry. [All of a sudden. Has he never lied awake and wished to learn how to tie a rope? Has he never made chocolate milk for Heart expecting the other to summon his gun without even wiping away the remnant of it?]
“(That’s a shame.)”
Heart lies down and Mind encircles his arms around him.
“(‘Cause I want to. Wouldn’t it be great? Don’t you want to die with me? I can bite you open until you’re unrecognizable. Or you could take out your knife, plunge it into my heart. It’d be great.)” Heart’s words run together, manic. Unhealthy.
“[Do you think it’d be pretty?]”
And Mind enables him. Because he itches for it. Now that Heart mentions it, it’s as if something Mind had never noticed was there has been opened. Mind never should’ve started imagining his death, never should’ve started wanting it more than anything he’s ever wanted before, never should’ve-
He can’t stop. Heart has whittled a hole in him. It isn’t big. Mind shouldn’t even notice it. But it’s there, and everything Mind is is spilling out. Mind widens the hole, anticipation rising in his gut. To lose himself. To die. To stick his hand in.
Has some wire been crossed in his brain? Why is Mind like this?
Heart hums agreement against him. “(Summon your knife. Please. Cut me open.)”
Ruin me, Juno. Please. Please. Please-
Mind summons his knife. Heart is already ruining him.
To widen the hole.
“[Do you want me to tear through your hoodie, or-]”
Heart lifts his hoodie and throws it.
“(Are you actually going to. Kill me.)”
“[We’ll see. Unless you don’t want me to?]”
Heart pauses, perhaps really, actually considering the idea.
“(It’s not like there’s much to live for here anyway.)”
Mind presses the tip of the knife to Heart’s chest, the skin tearing open easier than it should, avoiding ruminating on Heart’s sentence.
Heart relaxes under him. “(Do you think Soul will be mad?)”
Mind laughs. It strikes him this is going to be one of his last laughs. In spite of that, or maybe because of it, he smiles, purposefully. “[He might be glad. It’s finally an excuse to kill himself.]”
“(…God, we’re fucked up, aren’t we?)”
Mind sticks his hand into Heart’s wound, opening it further. Blood seeps into every one of his joints, he can tell by the way his hand isn’t quite following his whims, unable to open or close properly.
Still, Mind flexes it. He is going to get into Heart’s ribcage. He will pry away each rib, until it’s just him and the culmination of all Heart is. And, well -
Is Mind happy, really, about killing Heart? He should be.
[Mind wants to harmonize their tones-]
Mind is happy. Somewhat. He wants to cover his hands with Heart’s blood.
“[This is always how it was going to end up.]”
Mind is the only one speaking. Even now, Heart is pathetic, unable to string a sentence together.
There’s something to be made of how only now he appreciates how utterly useless Heart is at living. There is always something to be made of everything. Can’t Mind just irrationally enjoy his crime scene?
He doesn’t even have to consider Heart’s death, because he will be dying right after, so it isn’t important. It isn’t.
Mind drags his hand out, painstakingly. Heart’s wings twitch as if to curl in, to protect himself from the fate he brought on.
Without reason, he tastes Heart’s blood. It’s iron and warm and real and more than he deserves.
They were always destined to die. This is one of the better ways to go.
Mind can be irrational, this once.
Heart’s wings are soft. They stain so easily, like this was meant to be. Heart whimpers, his feathers shifting as if he’s trying to both run away and lean in closer.
“[Do you like this, Juno?]”
“(I-)” Heart’s voice breaks, and he doesn’t restart. The syllable just hangs there, like vindication.
Mind pulls Heart close. Blood seeps into his shirt. “[You know I love you, right?]”
Heart hums agreement, wiping at his eyes as if he could cry. “(I love you too.)”
All Mind can hear is Heart’s ragged breathing. Mind loves Heart.
This is all he could want.
Mind digs into Heart’s wound, still holding onto him.
Heart shakes as Mind snaps away his ribs. Touching flesh that should never have been exposed.
Heart’s pulse thrums through his body. His breath quickens, like he’s having a panic attack.
Mind shushes him, running through his curls, bloodying them. Imagine if they were simply dyeing each other’s hair, right now.
Mind laughs because there isn’t anything else he can do.
For someone who can’t, Heart sounds awfully like he’s crying, like tears are running down his face and he just can’t stop himself, just can’t shut himself up, like it’s all too much for him.
As Mind invades more and more of his ribcage, he whines like he’s about to break down crying, like there’s nothing else he can do, like a dog.
It’s beautiful.
“[Are you sure?]”
Heart nods.
“[Say it.]”
“(Yes.)”
Mind finds Heart’s heart and cradles it in his hand, lifting it from Heart’s chest, gently.
Something oddly like despair joins the thrill in his chest.
Mind doesn’t want to kill himself. He wants Heart to touch him in the same way he has touched Heart.
“[Juno. Summon your gun for me.]”
Heart does so, pressing it to Mind’s temple without needing to be told.
Heart tries to laugh, but it comes out without any mirth at all. “(On the count of three?)”
“[One, two-]”
Heart fires.

Been a while since I've posted here
I was lining the redesign of I.M.P and here's some of my thoughts throughout
First point is that making this biblically and description accurate of Imps. They're small mischievous and ugly soabs so I took that and ran with it. Also the size between the Imps and humans, I headcanoned that they are the size of the puppet used in Brandon Roger video (Blitzø vs Grandpa), it's just funny to imagine those tiny mf running around killing larger size humans lol
Blitzø looks worse than the other two cause y'know he got blown up and I don't think you're gonna look so pretty afterwards. Some of the imp lores I also took inspiration from LovesArt23 and her redesigns. Not much to say about Blitz, cause he's kinda meh to me when it comes to reimagining him.
Moxxie is definitely a hybrid and I've decided to show that more in his anatomy design having much more animal like legs structure than the others. Not much to say either, he's also pretty mussed in my head cause how flesh out but not so flesh out he is? Idk man.
Millie is like a blank slate that I have so much idea for her and things surrounding her.
1. As fucked up as this idea is, the culture surrounding wrath is the wrath game where Imps compete and fight so why not expand on that. Wrath imps ears and tail are cropped...like how they do with fighting dogs.
Fucked up I know, I ain't promoting dog fighting, cropping of their ears and tails, man fuck nah. But from a story writing standpoint, it's hell, if y'all can excuse the large amount of crude language because it is hell and not the reasons why people are damned to hell then idk what you think hell is my guy.
2. Millie, specifically with her family, wears a metal hooves and horns covering during the game. Seeing how there were no prizes given to the winners, I thought why not make the prize of a so called pain game, accessories that assist in causing pains, y'know.

Hello hello! Just stopping by to hear a little about whichever WIP(s) you want to share about! What do you hope readers pick up on from your WIP? What do you hope is their favorite aspect of it?
Hi hi hi! Thank you so much for the ask!!
Honestly I've been working on both Abracadabra and Midnight Madness because I can't always choose which one I want to focus on so I just bounce between them lol
Abracadabra is close to my heart as a writer. Really both of them are, but Midnight Madness is...newer ig.
(I feel like this got really long so I'm putting it under a readmore)
They're both connected to my early days as a writer in different ways; my first 'real' WIP was back in the Windows 98 days. My dad was head of the IT department and would often have bits and pieces of computers at home for various reasons, and so my first ever PC was one of those big ol' box monitors, a clunky tower, and an old sticky keyboard. But they were all mine, which was cool. So I started working on a story idea in Word about a pair of siblings that got sucked into another world via portal and had to survive long enough to get back home (and this is all related, I swear). In that story were a pair of 'elves' (really just protagonists with pointy ears that were really tall, but I was so a childling back then so who's counting) and they were named Glidon and Lyra.
The protagonist to Midnight Madness is the latest attempt of mine to revise Lyra. A sort of re-imagining of both the world they lived in and the pair themselves from the point of someone with a little more practice in...well, writing 😅 In all it's forms. The world has transformed from a sort of copy-paste of generic western fantasy vibes by a closeted baby nerd to a world that's essentially taking all of it's cues from the idea that the world itself is a giant tree. All the land masses are either clumps of giant fungi, thick main branches, clusters of knotted and tangled thinner branches, etc etc. The water elements are more like expanses of leaves with no solid matter underneath with a higher concentration of liquid inside (I'm still workshopping the finer elements of how that actually works). There's bioluminescent fungi trained to grow like light sources, there's giant species of bugs that are wild, smaller species of birds that have been domesticated, the elves have wings and possibly tails...it's been quite a fun adventure re-imagining this world, and it's closeness to my heart is all because Lyra is among my very early OCs and I would love to do her and her world justice.
As for Abracadabra, it started when I was in a block so decided to take a 'next generation' approach and Layla was created. She's Lyra's daughter and I needed shenanigans for her to get into (this was probably early college days for me). I was talking to my dad about it and he actually seemed interested (which was a huge thing for me, not just because he's my dad but he sorta actually was my partner in crime, a huge influence in my media consumption, AND I'm fairly sure he's where I got the storytelling gene from) so after a bit of back and forth we actually decided to start working on it together. We set it up so that I would draft things out and put them into a shared Dropbox, he'd read them over and come back with edits, and every weekend we'd go out to a restaurant and talk about the story. This was kinda the height of my excitement with writing, and it was short and sweet as it wasn't long after that he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away from it maybe two years later. I finished the story and published it before writing two others in the same universe with the same set of characters, and each of the three stories had a different MC but advanced the overall plot, and Rod was the third installment before I fizzled out. I did some worldbuilding until I was satisfied with what I'd done, only to realize what I'd done completely nullified almost all of the worldbuilding and plot elements of the first two books. Rod's was the one that would require the least amount of restructuring, and it was easily the one I was the most proud of. So I renamed it Abracadabra and started to work on it, and am still going. Rod and Kashi have direct connections in my mind to my dad, and I think this is why I'm still determined to get the story out.
Anyway. I'm not sure if that's what you meant when you wanted to hear about my WIPs 😅 Doesn't really tell anyone what they're about 😂 But it's what came up so there lol. They're both really close to me and I am determined to share them with the world. Not sure how yet (here on Tumblr? Self-published complete manuscripts? Ko-fi? Royal Road? No idea) but I'm going to, damnit. As for your actual questions...I hope that my books can find the right people at the right times, and they'll be able to find connection to the world, to the characters, to something that gives them some joy. Either just because they needed a bit of escapist reading or because there's a character in there that said something they needed to hear. I hope readers love my stories. I hope readers love my characters. I hope it gives them light and love and joy and fun and inspires creativity and passion and gives them an idea to jump off of with their own creativity. I hope what readers get out of my stories is the same little treasures and gems that I've found in other's stories.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that your wip tag game post (from *checks notes* November 27th? god help me) isn't necessarily current any more, but take this ask as an invitation to talk about/post a little snip of anything that still is a wip if you happen to feel like it!
gfkjlds I wasn't expecting things to have changed that much bc I have a terrible habit of going 'omg I want to write that' [dumping a few notes in a draft] 'wait I want to write something else'. I'm not a wip abandoner in the sense of never finishing anything, bc I'm still putting out the same amount of fic, & once I've actually started writing I tend not to abandon stuff, but I do leave a trail of ignored ideas in my wake ajhfklsdg.
but!! I have actually posted three things from that list since I posted it (tell me you love me, come back and haunt me (which became litany for a reunion), the one about jamie patching ben up, and the one which was a first sentence of zoe being woken up) & am working on a fourth for next fortnight (the post-phantom piper one). so!! call that progress ig
you know what I'm going to talk about the one I had down as [two in 6b on a mission in 1745 where he bumps into jamie;. apparently I am so so so addicted to rotating post-war games fics. they're spilling out of my pockets. & honestly we might have talked about this one??
the idea was two being sent on some sort of mission in 6b that takes him to the highlands, and quite coincidentally bumping into jamie. and jamie recognises him, and figures out that something must be up, but he's not had enough of his memories bleed through to trust two, so he starts following him around more out of suspicion than anything. two's trying to complete his mission and get out of there as soon as possible because he REALLY doesn't want the pain and guilt of hanging around with jamie when he doesn't remember him at all. but obviously they end up having to work together, neither of them can really help it :'))
the way I've planned it out doesn't. exactly have a happy ending, to say the least. and I don't really want to spoil it here bc if I ever do write it, I think it'd be a gut punch. so just know that it may or may not be coming :^)
ALSO speaking of post-war games fics I do want to share this little plotting snippet from a different document (the one for the sequel to old ghost's waltz), bc I am so insane about it but haven't actually plucked up the courage to start writing this fic yet. so hey, here's a glimpse of the way I plan my fics ig!!
[mairead] sits down and says she might feel better if she knew more about what had happened; she asks kirsty to tell her about the doctor, and then asks if jamie is in love with him, with the air of already knowing the answer is yes; kirsty is hesitant to throw jamie under the bus by saying yes outright, so she asks 'how did ye know?'; mairead says that soon after jamie came back from the war, she had given him her wedding ring, saying he would have more use for it than her, and that jamie had seemed very emotional about it and had said he would give it to the person he loved; she looks kirsty dead in the eye and says 'and I've never seen you wear it'; kirsty just nods, and then says mairead seems very calm about it; mairead scoffs and says it wasn't entirely unexpected; she pauses, then lets out a shaky laugh and says 'the fact that he's a faery man was a surprise, though'
like god I NEED to write mairead and kirsty having a very emotionally charged and stilted conversation about jamie having left them behind. I've been chewing over this one for ages now
actually this made me realise that I only have one more section left to plot out for this fic and then I'll be out of excuses for not writing it aghfsdld.

(i use procreate)

I guess I'm gonna show you some current WIPs, some uhhh rather lemon-y lmao
Because I usually don't keep my very rough sketches on a separate layer and just draw over them. So it's not easy to show them later on lol.
Usually I've got a specific idea in mind. Either a pose, a vibe or something so I know what I want in the end. It's important to me to get it down with the first, rough sketch. The first rough draft is usually done with very lose, soft and rounded lines.
The second sketch on top is usually to clear up any anatomical mistakes and adding in clothes, faces, details etc.
Then finally, linework.
For example I wanted to draw Sal in lingerie below. It's all very rough, with few and usually rounded lines to get the whole body in place. Anatomy doesn't really matter at this point, what matters to me is the vibe and body movement. Also I still do the + cross on the face and usually chest as you can see below lol. Gives a good idea of the angle.
Another example for the rough idea (placement of hands, feet etc.). Body shapes are kinda wobbly lines, all pretty soft except for few sharp edges (knees for example).
Another rough example with more details filled in already. Still very rough, like Larry's hair. I wanted a swoosh kinda feeling?? Lmao, just like softly falling.
(Also as you can see: when I'm feeling like filling in some details I just do that and will finish the other body parts later. This doesn't always work out though lol and ends in much work later on. Don't recommend it. But it's fun.)
If I'm struggling with something I will usually just add another layer on top and try try try until I kinda like the rough look of it. For example, I was really struggling with Larrys legs in this piece and it took quite a few tries until I got what I wanted (didn't find a ref I liked). Same with the hand.
Then usually I will do second sketch. (If I'm having a very good flow and day I usually can use the first sketch immediately but it's rarely the case). The point now is to fill in hair, faces, clothes, details and get the whole anatomy right.
On the left I also moved part around as you can see because I didn't like the position. Also did quite some corrections for the second sketch on the right. (Looking at it now the anatomy still is kinda eh... but way better than the initial sketch)
And then sketching is done and I will probably go to linework.
Also as for your second question: yeah, I do all my artwork in Procreate. Some color correction is done on Clip Studio Pro on the PC because the colors on the PC don't match the colors on the iPad usually.

I don't know if I've ever purposefully given up on a fic or wanted to give up on writing altogether. Usually with fics it's just a sudden realization that I haven't touched my WIP in like three months, and as for wanting to quite writing altogether it's just like.... what else am I supposed to do with my day then?? XD

Oh I have no idea... succinct, maybe? Unless I don't want it to be, then I can go on forever about something. XD I'd say it's pretty fixed. XD Ik there's a few fics where the writing feels a little different somehow (Can't You Tell feels like that for some reason), but it's pretty much the same.

Idk! Ig I've never thought about what the fandom specifically gets out of it, it's more like what do I get out of it by the validation I get when people like it sslkjfsldkjd XD

It lets people share their ideas!! The whole reason I got an ao3 and tumblr was specifically so I could have input in the fandom and be able to show y'all the stuff I'd written. I'd been writing a lot before I got one, and finally I just decided I wanted to show it to everyone. XD I usually try to leave small encouraging comments on things when I have time, and I've found that reblogs are a very fun way to interact as well. Watch me tag an artist's post with ten keysmashes and then make a friend 'cause they appreciated that. XD
🪄what is your post-writing/sharing aftercare? How do you take care of yourself or celebrate yourself when you've finished a fic?
Usually for bigger fics it's just take a break. XD I love writing, but oftentimes finishing a giant one (Welcome to the Madhouse comes to mind first, actually- that was 50k words I wrote in a month) I'll let myself not feel bad if it's taken me a week or so to get back to writing. Looking back through my posting dates, I finished Where's My Mind in September and only have one other fic (that was like 2k words) that I put out that month. Which is pretty slow for me.

Zombie Anon back ig 🤩
I appreciate the compliments and will thus share more about my apocalypse <3 (but not yet if I'll make a novel out of if, sorry 😫 But I have a few ideas I might be able to develop 👀)
Like I said in the previous ask, the Zombie Virus is a mix of fungi > mould > the flu, thus you can be infected by either not wearing a (gas / filtered) mask or getting into any kind of contact with areas which are infected with the fungus / mould. 🤪
Being infected with a Zombie bite is also possible but rare as the Infected (another name for the Zombies) are cannibals and will most likely finish the job before letting their victim go and let the consequences happen. 😵💫
The apocalypse outfits are also realistic for your information. 😒 If I hate one thing then it's apocalypse outfits with shorts and crop tops. Like yours legs are just gonna be scrapped if you have to slide on the street or bleed so so easily. 😖
A cool design I've thought about was the organs of the Zombies being tightened by 'vines' from the fungus but that is only a wip at the moment as I'm not even sure if that's possible. 🫤 The reasons for that happening (with no research though) would be the fungus (being an organism since some fungi are mushrooms) trying to make an organism out of the Zombie but due to its deadly nature (reducing the efficiency of the brain 🧠 and lungs 🫁 the most) it kills them before succeeding. I'm also not sure if all Zombies would suffer from the tightened organs or if it's only special ones but eh 🤷🏻🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️ I'm too lazy rn to do the research. 💅🏻
And to finish this ask off I'll explain the state of the zombies and whether they can be considered alive or not. 😊
The zombies are not dead, they have to be alive to be infected with the virus. Their mental state however is... blank? They're in a sort of loop, sleep deprived and numb, auto pilot, something along those lines. Once the virus has infected the sick individuals to a certain degree, they'll start to lack self-awareness and get the urge to act out cannibals. Once these symptoms are showing then it's too late late for the individual. 😌
The other not so dangerous symptoms (because there's a low chance of not turning into a zombie so like, 90% ig?): are severe depression, suicidal tendencies, extreme aggression, migraines (cus of the vines) and coughing fits that can last up to ten seconds multiple times a day (I got inspired by a certain cowboy for that, the Red Dead fans will get it). 😊 That's also why those that were infected with the virus but didn't turn feel as if they're in the last stage of Tuberculosis. 🤠😬
Other fun facts are that a vaccine seems to be imposible due to the virus being a fungus (I looked at one article and thus could be wrong), how long someone has before they turn into a zombie is not determined (could be hours, could be days, could be months), they're pretty much cannibals with the flu and thus do not have any enhanced senses. 👍

🌈 What inspired you to write [insert fic here]?
ah! yes. a mix of a few things ig? for starters i have Always been compelled by the childhood friends narrative of loscar. i am always compelled by childhood friend narratives tbh... but like. they have fr known each other for SO long and that is something that could be so special to me... but i don't really write a lot of childhood friends to lovers? then before miami when oscar posted that fucking picture i was like Okay. i'm gonna lose my mind. i need to write a fic. but i didn't know what to write so i like bookmarked it in mybrain
Then. i remembered this old novel wip i had rotting away in my google drive... which i was working on last april actually after i finished the first draft of my novel that is now a mostly polished manuscript (not the point but i'm proud of it) and it never really surmounted to much bc idk it was a mess. but the gist of it is/was two boys who meet when they're really young (4) and grow up together and are each other's firsts for a lot of things but never date. it was kind of a soulmates thing with just. the idea of meeting your soulmate as a kid and not fully realizing it until you're an adult. so they grow up together and date other people and all that but in the end they come together, like they were always supposed to, and it feels kind of inevitable? does any of this even make sense
POINT IS. really old novel wip. with original characters and all that. i forgot about it completely for a year then i was literally Out for once in my life and i just. remembered it existed. and was like. Oh My God that's loscar. "it's like we can't get away from each other" core. that's wild. i am going to repurpose it. so i'm repurposing it. the first kiss scene and the first meeting scene are both repurposed not word for word but i wrote them with two tabs up. and there are some more scenes i swiped directly from my old project (the whole entire thing about how old they're both supposed to be before they can start kissing and also a bunch of stuff i haven't posted yet) but a lot of what i've been writing is new. the oldest i wrote Either of those characters for that project was 14 so
and it's funny bc obv that project had two characters but neither of them were clearly oscar or logan so it depended on the scene who i would give what lines to and i kept getting confused. Whoops

There's way too much to say about demon!white au and I don't wanna spoil too much but here's some tidbits from that world-
Todd is NOT a full siren and this is an Issue
White's glasses are not so he can see better but so that other people don't see Certain Things
The Twins' connection in the fic is Very Different from canon and they're not the only people with a Bond
White summons an army of bats to attack people that get on his nerves, the bats don't hurt anyone they just spook em

As for BlackYok vs GramBlack au... see I had this Idea from back when the show was just wrapping up where Black would pull away from the gang like canon but the others would be like hell nah you're not going anywhere bitch and get him back and part of that fic was just torturing Gram for his show canon sins where Black would just kinda cut him out and it'd make him lose his mind and EVENTUALLY they'd get their shit together. And then! AND THEN!!! @paalove had to go write that BlackYok fic and ummm I may have Seen The Potential. No because! I've always thought BlackYok was an underrated and overlooked duo like the comedic potential those two have! But also I really like the idea of them like hooking up to distract themselves from their respective heartbreaks and helping eo heal and move on now so what was originally a fix it with GramBlack endgame turned into a fix it where Yok just butts into all of Black's business and tortures Gram as revenge for his crimes against Black (and Eugene ofc). Currently unsure about who will end up with who (mostly bc as much as i love the idea of BlackYok i don't see them working out as long term pair in this setting but also I feel like as Black is in this fic there's no way he's ready to be with Gram anytime soon either so... we'll see ig)

okay so now i really wanna write a fic where you start dating poe for his money (or for a mission or something, maybe agent!reader who's investigating remnants of the guild idk lol) but then you fall in love with him and it's gonna be fluffy but also angsty okay. i need to make an ao3 account. i've read some stuff there but i've never actually posted, so if i ever post stuff there i'll link it here <3 but yeah either way, he would absolutely spend WAYYY too much on the first date.
as for the dress thing, if you're like me and think old fashioned fancy dresses are just gorgeous, he would get some tailored for you and write you a scenario where you could wear them, like an old ball or something. when it comes to poe's 'i must destroy ranpo' agenda you're gonna have to be the mother of the couple. Give him a bedtime and make him shower and give him a time limit for writing because he will not stop otherwise.

A ref for another oc for a friend's book
A young man who was ran out of his own kingdom at 13 by his family due to his cursed power: Rot. He lived on the streets ever since, the rotting scar growing more and more, adding bandages and cloth to hide them.
He finds himself afraid of intimacy for fear of killing others with just a touch and thinks of himself as a monster. The main character finds him endearing and slowly helps him accept this as apart of himself even if he doesn't like it.
3. Least favourite things to draw?
mmmmm mechs and metals, funnily enough I love drawing weapons and armor but just can't deal with mechs esp ugh
that is why I love fantasy bc it usually don't have mechs lol also kyo and most shield hero characters bc holy shit they are so complicated esp that albino bitch
4. Favourite things to draw?
top 3 things would be Howl like characters (see what Elijah and William look like), environments esp greenery and skies, and expressions the way the eyes and how the nose crinkles when we're angry stuff like that very human and stuff :]
5. Anything you haven’t drawn yet but want to?
Animals in a less cartoony way I usually do also classical esqe paintings I always admired the way the skin looks so soft and how the hands looked esp regarding hands holding again the humanity within these paintings is so very mortally immortal idk thats how I'd describe it
17. What inspires you?
A lot, a lot and a lot of things. Could make an essay. Mind if I make an essay?

But I think life inspires me, humanity inspires me, my daily relationships even the smallest interaction with an acquaintance. It's love and the hate and the daily struggles and the tragedies we see in the world. And again at the end of the day it's love that inspires me.
And I know this is about paintings and drawings but writing is an art on its own.
And the things I want to write about are all of this including the grief of being human and the blissfulness too.
I'm gonna be real for a second and say this is also based off of my experiences with death and how I've dealt with grief especially since all three were different.
also just ye uh cw death and all that and it might go into some uhhhh ig traumadumpy territory but I promise it's related
One was of somebody that refueled my love of writing and making my own stories and he was honest to god my fucking hero and I wouldn't have gotten to where I am without him.
Thank you Technoblade for inspiring me and alot more people.
It was indirect and I didn't really know him know him, yknow I was just a fan and yet it hit so badly and it still does and just man grief just it never disappears and I can't put it into words yknow
Another was a figure from my childhood, somebody like Techno who I really looked up to and I wish to this day that he got to see me grow up and I could see him and remember him before he got sick and just its a grief of wanting to go back and spend as much time as I wished with him, he was sorta a second father to me
The last and most recent is someone who couldn't control themselves and needed help but the state didn't give it and bc they didn't get the help it ended up hurting the people around them too, tragic and painful and its just so fucked and really fuels my hatred for the state
Anyways after all of that I wanted to write and draw, create something to put all of my feelings about death and grief and my continuing love for life even if it can be shit into something so I wrote Reverie of The Axe Hero and have come up with similar ideas about the struggle of being plainly human
And I think once I'm done with Reverie I think I'll finally heal from this grief, and it may not ever disappear, it never does; but I'll be able to move on. Sorta my own stages of grief if you will.
