Everybody Is Dead...!

In the Metal Fight Beyblade verse, Rago is capable via Diablo Nemesis of absorbing the power of his opponent and gaining their abilities. He can also gain the abilities and power of everyone that opponent has fought from the beginning to the present.

Despite this, Pluto states that Nemesis has the power of every bey in the world by the time he and Rago do battle with the Legendary Bladers and company. It opens the door to a potential trickle down effect that would go on and on. It makes Rago's main ability one of the most horrifying in any verse.

This got me thinking about another potential trickle down that could be applied to another overpowered deity. This one being of light rather than destruction. Galeem. Due to the incredible amount of crossovers and cameos that can be traced via some path to someone within the Super Smash Bros verse, there's a disturbing amount of verses that are almost certainly reduced to non-existence alongside everyone that ever existed within that verse by the Lord of Light and it's "Everybody Is Dead" attack. That isn't counting restoring the verses back into existence and shuffling them while everyone in them become mindless slaves. Even the verses with stages, Mii outfits and music have potential to be completely screwed. A scenario like this would represent the absolute highest limit of Galeem's power...

Soma Bringer

Monolith Soft, founded in 1999 by ex-SquareSoft employee Tetsuya Takahashi, is mostly known for the Xenosaga games for the PlayStation 2, as well as the two Baten Kaitos titles on the Gamecube. They were bought up by Nintendo to produce RPGs for their platforms, the first under this arrangement being the DS game Soma Bringer. Unfortunately, this was also around the time when Nintendo of America was absolutely mortified at localizing anything with a significant amount of text (see: Mother 3) and so the game went unreleased outside of Japan.

Unorganized and unfinished thoughts on 5.3

In hindsight I feel like ‘he’s a primal’ should have been obvious, as if we haven’t been joking that the wol is a primal for forever. Turns out we got it backward, wols are the faith to keep a primal fed and powerful. He was a wol, a hero, in a sense. Not to us, but to his people. The ff1 wol transformation was nice tho.

And we have our title! Azem, and our ‘constellation’ is the sun. At least I’m about 99% sure we are the 14th, considering their job was to travel and meet people and solve problems, and well hell don’t that sound like an adventurer? And apparently Hyth matches pronouns to your character, so. I hope SE doesn’t give the 14th a name, lets us choose our own.

I knew that little shite Hades wasn’t gonna go out quietly, I was cracking up at that little flippant wave. Normally I’d hate dead villains coming back to fuck around, but I think I’d make some small concessions for Emet. I don’t ship him at all, but I do like him as a character and I like the moral quandry of him dealing with who he was, or who he might be without tempering. But, maybe that’s best left to fanfiction.

Holy SOMA vibes captain, my brain was screaming SOMA as soon as Raha said he was planning on recording his memories in the crystal and I knew exactly what was going to happen. And that whole philosophical quandary was running through my head the whole time. I think he did put in his remaining memories right before he froze, but there’s still a minute or so of the Exarch dying that source Raha won’t remember, he won’t be THAT Raha that crystalized. I”m probably overthinking it, I think them going any other way would have been either too simple and sweet, or too unnecessarily heartbreaking. I do HOPE that some fanfic writer out there plays with that some though.

We all called Asahi, but whatever acian that is, Fandaniel is certainly... something? In ff12 he’s another scion of light, along with Emet and Lahabrea and the others, under the constellation Leo, and opposite Hashmal, the bringer of order. Though that would have made him a sundered member of the convocation of 14 I would have thought, so now I’m unsure. Well, I suppose he could just have usurped the title, after all, who the hell is going to stop him now?

Big teary moments- I got sniffly with Elidibus reminiscing, I plan on watching that scene again. Seto, obviously, started bawling as soon as I asked him to close his eyes because I knew what was coming. That shit HURT, I had to hug my dog after. And Lyna. Holy hell Lyna’s VA. I also cried after the battle at Ostall where she hurt her leg, you can hear the honest emotion in her voice, and it broke me. Also Shtola you little shit, don’t give me hope like that, I still ship Shtola/Runar and the game can’t stop me.

How I feel about this character: THIS MANS IS SO GODDAMN COOL LIKE. DOUBLE-BARRELED REVOLVER?? A FUCKING ENGINE ON YOUR SWORD TO HEAT THE BLADE???? THE DUDE LOST HIS ARM AND COULD STILL SWING RED QUEEN EFFORTLESSLY AND ALSO FIRE AND RELOAD BLUE ROSE

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Kyrie is his girlfriend and the only romantic ship I got this mans.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: He and Nico rag on each other a lot in-game so I'd say they're very close friends.

My unpopular opinion about this character: If I gotta be honest: Having Devil Bringer removed shouldn't have completely cut off his DT. I felt like that woulda weakened it, but certainly not completely remove the transformation. Especially since abilities like Air Hike and Charge Shot are still perfectly fine. (A.K.A. I saw that plothole)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Kinda wanted him to rip into Vergil juuuuuust a little more. Nico's photo comment for Mission 20 in DMC5 is 'Another deadbeat dad' so. Honestly hoped that Nero and Nico woulda told him off.
