Sokka: initially I thought maybe you’d like a comb, but then I remembered you have Royal Hair People so that was stupid. Then when I thought about it I realized you’d probably like something a little more…stab-y. Do you like it?

(Azula looks at the water tribe weapon, then at Sokka, then back to the weapon)

Sokka: You don’t like it. I can get you something else.

Azula: I love it. It’s perfect.

Thought of this randomly when I was watching “Zuko Alone” and Azula got her gift from Iroh and thought ‘Sokka would realize she’d like weapons more.’ Also I just like the idea of Sokka with his Meteorite Sword, a traditional Fire Nation weapon, and Azula having the Whale Tooth Scimitar, a traditional Water Tribe weapon.

Au idea where the gaang kids trying to setup their uncle sokka with azula. Mainly Bumi's idea and they just all go along with it, while Izumi thinks it's not going to work cause even if azula and sokka are cordial with each other she can still hear the hint of disdain and sarcasm when they talk to each other. Then there's Lin who says Sokka's heartbeat spike up whenever Azula is around while Tenzin will argue it could be out of fear 😭. Kya will just say fuck they should atleast try.

Avatar the Last Airbender fic idea

Sokka has been dating someone, that he won't shut up about, for a few months and no one from their group has met her yet. They're starting to get suspicious that maybe he doesn't have a girlfriend and this might be a cry for help. Every time anyone plans something, Sokka always gives them an excuse why this "Lu" can't make it.

So, they all decide to get together and surprise Sokka at his home in Republic City and stage an intervention if needed. Sokka greets them at the door and is ecstatic since his girlfriend is just getting lunch made. He invites them in as a black haired woman with bangs and thick glasses is bringing out food while calling out to Sokka "cutie-pie your food is ready..."

She freezes. The group freezes. Sokka however, oblivious to the atmosphere, mentions he has to drain the "mongoose-lizard" (Katara: Eww) since that's what he was about to do and that they should be nice to Lu.

As he passes Lu, he nuzzles her and says sorry but don't be too shy they're really nice people!

When Sokka is gone, the group is just looking at Lu and each other.

Zuko speaks first.

"Uh, Azula, what the fuck?"

Zuko's words snap the group into gear as they get into position to fight.

Azula in a hushed whisper "Shut up, he doesn't know, it's not my fault, well not completely, he's an idiot... I don't want to hurt him, please Zuzu... And everyone... Just roll with it, I'll explain later... I really do care about him..."

It takes a combined effort of Aang, Suki, and Ty Lee to drag Katara out of the house to settle her down. They come back eventually but Katara looks absolutely livid...

The night goes well enough, though Sokka doesn't understand why the group is being weird around his precious turtleduck...

Katara is being downright hostile, Zuko and Mai keep flinching whenever she moves, Ty Lee and Suki won't stop teasing her (rude), and Toph won't stop laughing (she's almost passed out twice so far)... Why can't he have normal friends?

Well, at least Aang is being normal and being friendly with Aluza.

Seems like this calls for an investigation...
