Billy had never seen you as amused and happy with a guy as you were with Stu, your eyes so bright that he was convinced the words sadness and boredom were no longer known to you. However, that wasn't enough to convince Billy that Stu was good for you, and that was the reason you drifted away from him: although he made your days brighter and vice-versa, Billy didn't lose his overprotective sibling attitude, always keeping an eye on his "sweet and innocent" sister.

"I'm going out with Sidney." Billy told you, while you were reading a romance book on the sofa about a serial killer who fell in love with one of his victims. When your brother said he was going out on a date with his girlfriend, you simply looked at him with a raised eyebrow, as if you didn't believe there were any genuine romantic intentions in what he had just said. "What?" he sounded annoyed by your judgmental gaze.

"Hm I don't know, you don't seem very excited about it. It looks like you don't even have true feelings for the girl." your tone was confident and assertive, since you knew your twin brother all too well. He just rolled his eyes at your comment, not wanting to admit you were right.

"Y/N, we've talk about this. I'm not gonna let you be with Stu, you got that? I know him better than you, so listen to me for once and stop being such a brat." at this, it was your turn to roll your eyes, before getting up from the couch and heading to your room.

"Whatever Billy, enjoy your lovely date." you intentionally made an annoying tone at the word "lovely", which made Billy even more pissed by your behavior.

"I'll be back in two hours. Don't even think about inviting Stu over. I'm dead serious, Y/N." and with a final warning followed by a death stare, he closed the door to go out with his girlfriend that he pretended to be in love with for whatever reason.

You never understood why Billy was so overprotective over you when it came to Stu. Did he know something you didn't? Was Stu somehow dangerous or would he break your heart into a million pieces? Even if that was the main reason, honestly you didn't mind finding out for yourself if it meant you could be with Stu sexually or even romantically.

No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't concentrate on your novel after that conversation with your brother. Those questions couldn't leave your mind either, so you decided to use your free time to take care of yourself and get a proper treatment. "Stu? What are you doing here?" you frowned as your eyes widened in disbelief, immediately feeling your cheeks turn red, because Stu was seeing you in your pajamas for the first time. Perhaps you should have checked who it was before opening the door so confidently, you noted mentally.

"Oh hey, Y/N! I didn't expect you to open the door. Not that I mind, you look really cute. Where's your brother?" you felt his big blue eyes on you, clearly checking you out as he looked you up and down. He also complimented you as if it was the most natural thing for him to do, probably having no idea of how hysterical it made you feel inside. After that, he walked past you as if he felt he had the right to enter your house without waiting for your permission.

"Uh... Billy didn't tell you? He left with Sid like half an hour ago. You should come back later or call him instead if you want to talk to him." you tried to say the right words so that Stu would get the message that he had to leave, since you didn't want to upset your brother and go against his word. However, deep down, if you listened to your needs, you wanted nothing more than to stay with Stu and enjoy his company, allowing yourself to get to know him better without being pressured into making small talk with him.

"Nahh it's cool, I can wait here. Wanna watch a movie? There's this crazy horror movie that came out recently and I really wanna watch it! Since Billy is not here, we could watch it together, what do you say?" his enthusiasm and energy were something you'd never seen before, and you found it very ironic and funny that he was the complete opposite of Billy, yet they managed to have such a deep and strong friendship. You were left speechless, knowing that your plan to convince Stu to leave your house before your brother got back went down the drain.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds like a plan." you answered, trying not to sound too excited about the idea of watching a movie with him and finally being able to be close to him and having some time alone with him as well.

"That's my girl! Where's the popcorn?" he asked casually, as he headed towards the pantry since he already knew yours and Billy's house like the back of his hand. What was he trying to do?? My Opinion On Mortal Kombat 12

The good, the bad, and the salty.

Quick disclaimer, I am not at all a professional reviewer, this will not be formatted or written with any sense of professionalism. If you can not handle, openly simping, stupid meme references and jokes, cussing, very strong feminine opinions, or general NRS criticism maybe pass on this one.

First- Spoiler free game play advise:

Kitana's AI in story mode is brain dead, she'll be the easiest fight in the game.

Shao is pretty easy to beat as long as you don't let him hit you.

Hit boxes are wild and (maybe) broken. Basically you're gonna 'miss' a lot of shots you could have sworn you actually hit. Don't be surprised. Just keep attacking and eventually you'll land a hit.

NOW I will be spoiling the story. Sooooo SPOILDERS FROM THIS POINT ON.

The Good:

Kronika wasn't actually part of the story. Not gonna lie, they had me in the first half (I have more to say on this but those belong in the Bad and the Salty list).

Baraka, Bi Han, Reptile, Sareena, and Nitara can get it. Yes I'm being shameless right now. It's my blog.

FEMALE REPTILE! FEMALE REPTILE! (This skin better be available or I will have words)

I don't know if this was intentional, but having Sareena share a voice actress with Sindel was a cute call back to the two being originally played by the same actress during their OG games.

Baraka was really interesting and I hope he come back. He wasn't just some savage monster, he actually had a real personality and goals. It was a great evolution of his MK11 version (but I'll still miss MK11 Baraka). I want to see him progress more and get his own proper story line.

I have opinions about Hanzo in MK12, but I will compliment one thing. His new suit is bad ass. That's the only nice thing I will be saying about this topic.

Bi Han didn't die, I was quite pleasantly surprised.

With the Mortal Kombat competition never happening I believe this means Hydro is canonically alive. So Maybe Hydro in MK13?

Johnny and Kenshi's friendship was wholesome and I loved it. It was really the highlight of the game for me and I'm looking forward to another Johnny/Sonya/Kenshi team up.

The writers actually remembered Johnny's divorce. I'm shook.

Smoke is adorable and got to live through the story. I'm so proud of him and he deserves the world.

Evil Sindel's outfit was 11/10... if only there was a way to unlock it (I'll get to that later)

I like the Special Forces characters, but it was nice to get a short break from them. Gave us some time with other characters. That said I want them in the next game. I'm missing Sonya, Jax, and Kano already.

While I'm not a huge fan of the base skins (they're not bad, just not great) I loved a lot of the alternative skins shown off in the storymode look amazing and I'm hoping they're unlockable.

I was incredibly happy Raiden's old voice actor came back for this game. I'm not sure when he'll get to play Raiden again so it was nice to see him take up the roll one more time.

I liked that you could pick which character you played in the ending.

The Bad:

First thing is first: there are microtransactions. WHY DID I PAY 60 DOLLARS FOR A GAME IF THERE WERE GOING TO BE GOD DAMN MICROTRANSACTIONS?????????? Boon???? Why??? It'd day 1 and there's already god dang microtransactions. Like I guess it's nice that the invasion is available, but charging me 60$ and then asking for more is stupid.

The AI really puts the i in idiot. Basically it's bad. I know I originally mentioned Kitana's AI (since that's who it's the worst with in my opinion) but I also had an issue with Ashrah and Baby Raiden. They will literally walk backwards until they hit the end of the stage, of if they can fly they'll just jump in the air and stay there. Even on the harder difficulties the game felt too easy. I have lost a total of two fights between both the story mode and invasion.

It feels a bit manipulative that the whole 'tournament' that was heavily featured in the trailers only lasted maybe about 1/3 of the actual plot. It was such a nothing plot point, you could probably cut it out and it wouldn't be missed. Yet that was the only real plot point we saw in the trailer.

Jerrod's death is never explained. He was just killed, but apparently by no one of relevance. He just fell and couldn't even get back up.

They REALLY went with Evil Bi Han, which doesn't even make sense. Let me explain, as far as we know Bi Han has no reason to hold the opinions he does. Human opinions don't exist in an echo chamber. His father was against his ideas, his brothers were against his ideas, everyone around him was against his ideas. Where in the hell did this come from???? I would have understood if maybe if Shang Tsung had been slowly manipulating him throughout the game, but Bi Han was already on that 'f#ck them gods' juice since the beginning of the game (which is a mindset I very much indorse). (Okay I just thought about it but what if instead Quan Chi had used Sareena to try and tempt Bi Han over to their side. As in he sends her in infiltrate the Lin Kuei and get close to Bi Han so she can talk him into turning on Liu Kang, but has she spends more time in the Lin Kuei and with Kuai Liang and Bi Han she starts to have a change of heart and kind of has a sort of Mythologies arc where she begins to understand human feelings and gets attached to them. Having her then join the good guys and tries to undo her manipulation on Bi Han. Sorry idea rant. Back to the review.) MY POINT is that as far as we know there is no one who could have influenced Bi Han in this way. It just doesn't make sense why he thinks this. At least with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi it made sense since 1. They were manipulated and 2. Liu Kang actually f#cked them over and they had a valid reason to be mad. Bi Han had no given reason to hate Liu Kang other then he didn't like his clan being under the god's boot (WHICH I MEAN IS KIND OF VALID).

They didn't even have the balls to let Bi Han murder his his own father. "I didn't help save him!" WTF does that mean???? Did Bi Han just wait to long to call 911??? Did Bi Han watch him fall off a cliff? What does that mean?

NRS Writers have yet again created a situation that made me have to sit there and wonder if we were really on the good guys side. There were a few points where the "bad guys" said something that made me pause and be like "wait, let's hear them out". Often times that makes Liu Kang look like kind of a d!ck since he did design this timeline. See this post here for more of my feelings on this. Examples:

Ashrah confronted Nitara and Nitara explained she just wanted to save her people but apparently we're siding with Ashrah, the woman who's magic sword told her to commit murder to "cleanse her soul". Not Nitara, the woman who's people are incredibly ill and at risk of dying (ALSO WHO ASHRAH ADMITTED TO KILLING).

After Sindel tells Rain that he was like a son to her (a relationship we never get to see) Rain made a comment about how Sindel limited him. I actually what to know what he's talking about. He could just be being a salty bitch, but we don't know since this comment is never explained. Plus Sindel in intros has been shown to be rather cruel if she viewed it to be in her benefit, so what Rain was referring to might have happened. She might have nerfed the demi-god if she viewed his as a threat, but we'll never know since this is never explained.

I think Mileena's outfit is too pink. Her color has always kind of been this purplish pink color and I think the color they picked was just too pink and not purple enough. X had this issue too but we're not talking about that one right now.

The whole 2nd half of the plot was honestly a whole mess. It just completely went all bonkers. I don't even have words. It's like they had two different writing teams and switched mid way through the plot with no communication back and fourth. While I'm glad Kronika wasn't back the actual plot twist was somehow worse. It just felt like to much and felt very unsatisfying in the end.

Mileena and Tanya's relationship feels more like Kitana x Jade then Mileena x Tanya. It feel like the writers wanted to do Kitana x Jade but got told no and just wrote Mileena and Tanya in the roles instead.

Hanzo... Now this. I'm not going to repeat myself so to see how I feel about this in context of how it effect Hanzo as a character go here. I will go over some other issues I don't talk about in that post. The fact Kuai Liang's first canonical love interest is Hanzo's dead wife is something so rage inducing I'm not sure how to put it into words. Kuai Liang has never had his own thing, he has his brother's title, his father's powers, he remade his old clan, and now even his wife was another's before she was his. As a long time fan of Kuai Liang the only reasonable response to this I can have is disappointed. I'm just disappointed in NRS's handling of this character and their clumsy recreation of Hanzo rather then just including Hanzo in the game. Even in a new timeline NRS is to scared to try something too new. It's different but not different enough to mean anything. Just an endless circle of the same story they told two timelines ago. I really don't have the words to properly express the storm of unpleasant emotions this plot point causes me. It just sucks.

Sub Zero vs Scorpion has gotten old. This is all.

The Salty:

(This is just things that annoy me personally and I don't really view as actual criticism. Ignore this part if you don't care about mindless ranting)

I don't like this Mileena. She feels nothing like her previous self and I'm just not a fan. There's none of her fun loving, but creepy, personality she had before. I kind of get why but as a hardcore Mileena simp I just don't like the change.

I didn't unlock a single new outfit during storymode and that's very frustrating given the amount of unlockables we got in MK11.

Since when has Bi Han been a blood purest??? That seemed stupid.

I don't like Sindel's story mode outfit. Hers in particular I'm not a fan of.

I hate this version of Ashrah. She seems to self righteous for my liking. Plus her blaming Quan Chi for her sister's deaths when SHE was the one who killed them kind of annoyed me.

Honestly overall 4/10 story wise and maybe I'll post about the invasion later, but I don't know.

his voice is sooooo great, and i have warmed up a bit to him, but all the same. he's just not my type physicality wise, but i think i get the appeal. i also thought it was really sweet they let him have that soft moment with his parents in heaven where his dad tells him how proud he was and all that. (assuming it wasn't all a hallucination, but i digress,) i would've expected them to show his dad giving him a hard time one last time before he came back to earth, but i'm happy the comics let him have this :)

pyro next, (5/10)

the cop out answer is "well obviously the fire-brandishing character is the hottest-" but that's lame to me. it's honestly REALLY hard for me to see them as attractive or "dateable" just bc I project "my child" onto them. I've mentioned before, but i don't like them bc i wanna fuck them, i wanna protect them like a mother. i wanna feed them a homecooked stew with a wooden spoon, i wanna make crayon drawings with them, tell them bedtime stories, hand-stich him a stuffed animal, yk that sort of vibe. i do care for them a lot, but not in a romantic sense tbh.

Demo and Soldier (7/10)

I'm putting them together bc they are only really attractive to me when they're drawn with bulk-muscle. the idea of either of them packing on lean muscle is so weird to me. but they just feel like such living embodiments of "just here for a good time," and honestly? sometimes that's all you need :) If i HAD to put one above the other, I would put Demo over Solder, bc i ADORE fanart and official art that give him that cute little drunken lazy smile. it's just such a little thing that is so endearing to me!

Spy (10/10)

i'm sorry, i genuinely have no idea why i'm such an apologist for him, i deserve to have my rights taken away for this.

but i think i genuinely envy him in a lot of ways. he's not exactly the kind of attractive i want, but what i want to become. i envy his poise, his swagger, his cunning, (his ability to pull scout's ma). he's such a great jerk-with-a-heart-of-gold type of older guy, of which i am weak to, alas. i NEED to go on a shoplifting spree with this bitch-

i will never get tired of this guy <3 he's the living embodiment of "southern comfort," and much like medic, it's not at all surprising people love him so much. no one else has his character's incredible dichotomy of, sweet and gentle, while also able to deal out insane levels of violence (heavy comes close, but he doesn't quiet have engie's soft approachable disposition). definitely got the short end of the stick in the comics imo, as we don't get to see much of his family (or rather him interacting WITH his family) but in game at least he gives them lot's of shout-outs which is nice, but honestly makes me want to see them all the more! he's such a whore for all those cozy knit-wear cosmetics too. he's perfect in every way, he makes my heart flutter, he has never done anything wrong in his life ever, i would die to protect him.

with tour ending today, i just want to say how beyond proud i am of ooo 🥺🥺, like honestly?? i feel like even just less than a year ago, i, along w a lot of other lyons, had thought that maybe ooo would never tour outside of asia bc of how relatively small lyondom is and how terrible 8d is, but today???? they just finished such a successful and wonderful americas tour across 16 whole cities <33 like they did so much and worked so hard, and it really shows, every concert they put on was so good, and lyons had such an incredible time at every single one <33 and at every single one, they also showed how truly genuine they are with their work and how much they care about and really mean everything that they do <33 i am so so happy i was able to see them on this tour and that so many of my friends and mutuals did too <33 im sad it’s ending but also so excited to see what they have prepared for the seoul anniversary concert and beyond!! hopefully they get to tour again soon and visit even more stops <33 they did so so sooooo well on this tour i love them sm <33 i hope they are just as proud of themselves as i am of them and have time to rest well and enjoy this success before anniversary concert prep rly ramps up <33

First off, I wanna offer my congratulations and best wishes for firefighter nonny and bronco neighbour nonny. I wish all the happiness in the world for both of you.

Also, the schedule this week is amazing. You are really treating us. The new series has quickly become one of my top reads so far.

It's been a little while, but I have some updates in that aspect of my life.

I took your advice and just talked to him about how I was feeling and just tried to get a sense of where he was at. Apparently, he was under the impression that we were in fact exclusive since our second date, since the only thing missing was the labels. To his credit, there was nothing on social media that said otherwise; there was actually a video which showed him blatantly but respectfully rejecting the advances of someone while he was out so... Anyway, we have now defined the relationship and are officially dating.

He is currently on break from tour so he went home for a little while and flew me out to visit and meet his momma and the rest of his family. This felt like a big step, but I really liked them all, and I had a good time

While we were still in the midwest, his brother's girlfriend went into labour so we were on babysitting duty for his other nieces and nephews. Let me tell you, I had to excuse myself to just take a breather quite a few times. That man is sooooo good with kids, and seeing him hold the new baby...it did a number on me

We are now flying back to my hometown and he is going to stay with me until he goes back on tour, we have roughly 2 weeks. But I am really excited to show him around, and do all the cute fall couple-y things I've never had the chance to do

She's still in her musician era. Thanks for checking in with us. I'm proud of you for having the conversation with him! That must have felt incredible! Two weeks together? Before he goes on tour again? Nonny, go enjoy yourself.

SO THE WHOLE VIBES ARE QUITE A BIT DIFFERENT FROM THE OG GAME BUT I REALLY DO LIKE THE LIGHTER TONES IN THE GAME

While I’m am VERY attached to Aiden and the rest of the cast from the first watch dogs I think I might be even more attached to San Francisco dedsec

I WAS SOOOOO HAPPY THAT WE GOT MORE OF RAYMOND KENNEY, T-bone is sooo dear to me and having him back for the 2nd game was GREAT

I got VERY attached to everyone in dedsec but I immediately did adore Horatio, but also I got a serious sense of dread anytime he was on screen and I was just like “what is going to happen with him what’s going to go wrong” AND I WAS NOT OKAY WHEN IT WENT WRONG

I also got very attached to Wrench but more in a “I want to throw him into a brick wall” way than I did with Horatio

I LOVE THE LITTLE MISSION WITH AIDEN, LOVE TO SEE THAT MAN LURKING AROUND FIGHTING CRIME

Also the Defalt cult(??) thing that was happened was a mission I got very invested in, because anytime I see him I have the insatiable urge to destroy Defalt

I enjoyed being able to stun enemies too instead of outright killing them, I tried to play more into the hacktivist role so I didn’t really kill people as much as I did in the first game

IT WAS INSANE WATCHING THE SCALE OF DEDSECS OPERATIONS GETTING BIGGER AND BETTER AND OMG I FELT SO PROUD OF THEM ALL BY THE END THEYRE A LITTLE FAMILY

Also horatio deserved so much better sobbing crying

The game was INCREDIBLE- however I have started playing legion and going to legions from wd2 has made me a biiit underwhelmed by it

I am going to try and give it a chance but I’m not nearly as attached to the recruits I’m getting as I am to the established characters

BUT I DIGRESS WD2 WAS AMAZING AND IVE ALREADY STARTED TO REPLAY IT

Just had to say that your Amethyst Ring fic is so good!!!!!!!!!! I need/want a huge endless series of just that lol <3 I feel like the Prime Minister assistant fic needs a huge series as well, lol it was just the BEST. All of your Marius/Daniel stuff is so SO so good.

The Madness series is SOOOOO good too, damn I love that one. I really loved the New Year fic, especially with Marius in it, it was like a fine wine.

The dancer fic was really excellent too, as was the Daniel's father one.

I'm especially glad about the Daniel/Marius stuff because they're not a super popular pairing (I need them to become more popular so more people make Daniel/Marius content!), but I really enjoy exploring their dynamic. It's so soft and domestic! It's also just so stable that it can be hard to write about because I feel like they don't have a ton of drama, but I also think they have a lot of fun together and it makes me happy!

asdfghjhk; I'm so proud of the Dancer fic, it was really fun to try and expand that single line, and I love hearing people's theories on the Dancer and who he was and how he interacted with Armand and Daniel. (Of all the throwaway lines in the VC, I think that one really blows my mind the most. There's Such A Story there.)

Honestly, it's so cool you enjoy these and I'm glad you're liking the mystery fic, which I need so badly to update! (Work really kicked my butt this week but I'll try to edit chapter 2 tomorrow!)

You and Lewis at opposites, at war, rivals until the end of time.

There was no way the only female/male duo on the grid could be friends. You were either dating or you hated each other. The two of you opted for hating each other - politely disrespecting the other in the media, pushing and shoving on the track, outranking each other week in and week out, constantly photos of you two getting scolding your team dad principal.

Silverstone held a special place in both yours and Lewis’ heart. His home race, your first GP win. There was no one where either of you wanted to win so badly, willing to go to any length to out shine the other.

Lewis went too far - pushing you off the track, skidding until you hit the barricade. You were pissed.

You weren’t injured, thankfully. The car was fucked and you were forced to retire.

Toto calmly told you not to bite back even though he understood why you’d want too, promising to speak to Lewis about the incident and making you tell him that you would be a team player to the media.

Now you were back at home, your flat in London. You missed it.

There’s a knock on the door and you get up, walking over to open it. You come face to face with your teammate. Lewis stood across from you with a bouquet of your favourite flowers.

“Well. well, well. Look who came to their enemy’s door holding presents.”

No one, not even your team principal knew about what was happening between you and Lewis. One night, the hatred went too far, the tension too much to handle and you ended up in bed together. That quickly turned into a pattern, leading to spending the night together, only for you both to realize you liked each other.

Lewis smiles, handing you the flowers as he walks in. “Oh cut it, I’m here to pick you up for our date.”

You groan, walking to the kitchen. “Do we have to go out? Can we order take out and stay in?” You ask, setting the flowers in a vase as you fill it with water.

“Of course,” he hugs you from behind. “Are you okay? You left the track before I could even check in on you.”

“I’m fine,” you tell him and he turns you to face him, caging you in between him and the counter. “Then why was I being told that you were shaking after the crash?”

“Post race adrenaline. You know how it is, Lew.” Your fingers fiddling with the strings on his hoodie.

“You’re absolutely sure you’re okay? I couldn't forgive myself if I hurt you-”

“You didn’t hurt me,” you kiss him, a hand on his jaw.

“Good,” he smiles, he pats your hip. “What are we feeling tonight? Chinese? Indian ? Greek? I saw a new Thai place opened down the street.” He tells you scanning the menus pinned to the side of your fridge.

“Chinese, in the mood for fried wontons.” You walk to the couch, Lewis following you with the menu in hand.

“When are you not?” He jokes, his arm around your shoulder.

hi lovely !!! loveeeed part 10 ! i’ve been in the thick of midterm hell recently, so it was so fun to read🥰i LOVE the direction u took with the tentative forgiveness - YES there is so much they still need to talk about and figure out, but ALSO they do need each other and the tentative moments make it sooooo good for the pining🤭and ugh oscar and his unending wise words🤌he’s such good middle ground for two people who feel so much so outwardly and feel all of that for each other !!!

and im sorry you’ve been ill :(( i hope you feel better soon !! don’t worry about the wait for this chapter, life is always getting in the way, i’m just happy i got to read it (and that this journey keeps continuing), and i’m suuuuuper excited for the part <3

First and foremost, I am so sorry that it took me so long to respond to this! 😭 I thought I was getting over my sickness, but either it got a second wind or I caught something else because I've been completely out of commission once again.

As for the events of part ten, I personally enjoy portraying people and relationships as realistically as possible. Obviously, part of the appeal of fanfiction is that it's fictional, and we can suspend our disbelief, which would make it very easy for me to say that this singular apology makes them best friends again, as if none of the conflict ever happened, and they run off into the sunset together and live happily ever after. But it's so much more fun, in my opinion, to build it back up gradually and have those pining will-they-won't-they moments that leave the reader on the edge of their seat.

Our dear Y/N still has a long road ahead of her as far as achieving that happily ever after, and likewise Lando still has some work to do if he wants to be a part of it.

With that said, I think you'll really enjoy what I have planned for the future of this story! Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty proud of the plan I've made. It's a little clever and a little cheeky, in my opinion, so I hope it lives up to the hype I've created for it in my brain, haha!

That is, of course, if I ever actually feel well enough to keep writing 🥲.

But I digress! Best of luck on your midterms, I know those can be incredibly stressful, so please remember to take care of yourself! Treat yourself to a nice break afterward if you can! 1123 Thoughts

Wow, only one more episode left. But I absolutely loved this episode. This really was a reminder of peak TWD for me. I will leave my thoughts below the cut.

That opening montage was simply wonderful. I have been longing so long for someone to remember that Lori (however you feel about her as a character) was Judith’s birth Mama and paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure Judith would have a chance in this world. The scoring and the removal of weapons from the crate were incredible and with the last two being Judith’s katana and Rick’s gun was perfect. HAHA, but I will say that Cailey has almost outgrown that katana. Judith looking through artifacts and remembering Carl and Rick and Lori and handing off the hat to RJ was just a chef’s kiss.

I love Princess being the voice of the audience to handle...”Hey, who knows how to drive a train.” Maggie and Negan’s conversation could possibly be setting up their spinoff. I wonder if Pamela escapes somehow and Negan and Maggie track her to New York...probably not, but the thought crossed my head. Again..I am not invested in Negan and Annie. (LOL at everyone who thought Hilarie would appear in this episode though. I knew her flashbacks in the montage for 1122 were probably the ones she got credit for).

The family vibes from Daryl, Carol, RJ, and Judith...oh, my Caryl loving heart. We were fed well my peeps. Carol and Daryl’s looks to each other as Judith talks about what comes after are SOOOO loaded. I just need them to say the words. I feel like we HAVE to get that conversation in the finale. It’s all been teed up so well.

Mercer reuniting Max, Yumiko and Eugene was everything. Y’all were on a need to know basis and you did not need to know. “Stay in the house Eugene” although it becomes apparent why he will not be able to do that later in the episode.

Walker kill of the week goes to the train. As a train aficionado...I LOVED that bit! This brings us to Rosita and Gabe being the best badass coparents EVER!!!

Connie, Magna, Kelly, Princess and the CW soldier guy (the one who held Max at knifepoint) have a lovely little scene.

I love Mercer being a little minx towards Pamela and of course she is not fooled, but she is gonna have a bad end...(I hope, I really hope my Naggie spinoff idea is wrong). Pamela is such an evil person using the CW troops as a means of repression against the people of Commonwealth. But can I just say that the CW stormtroopers are unobservant morons. They clearly cannot tell that Team family is walking amongst the walkers and the stormtroopers have what they have coming to them.

I loved Zeke in this episode He is basically telling Negan that he doesn’t get to be a martyr and the he will have to find a way to live with the things he has done. And yet I smile. Again the scoring in this episode is phenomenal. Negan finally admits what we all know. Team Family are all better people than Negan.

Daryl and Carol talking with Judith about her family and Judith wanting to remember everyone and Daryl and Carol exchanging looks was balm for battered soul. Carol watching Daryl and Judith sleep earlier in the episode was wonderful.

Yumiko and Mercer putting on a show for the female trooper was great and then Mercer getting to talk to his Princess. They were so happy to hear each other’s voice and Princess realizes that Mercer is the good man she thought he was. Made my heart smile.

Again with the walkers....and I know that team family are whispering to one another, but I swear I think other walkers are whispering. The horror I felt when Lydia was bitten, my heart dropped.

Mercer and Max hugging...I love sibling bonds.

Aaron and Jerry being surrogate parents/big brothers to Lydia...man I was BAWLING. “You are so loved, Lydia.” Jerry better not die...I SWEAR I WILL THROW THE BIGGEST TANTRUM EVER!!!

Carol and Daryl separating again gave me heart palpatations. A missed opportunity for a stay safe/nine lives moment, but okay.

Abraham would be SOOOOO DAMN proud of you Eugene!

Jerry, my cobbler loving King...please do not die

Team Family has walked into a trap. Poor CW trooper/prisoner dude. You tell that power hungry so and so Mercer...Warn them about Pamela’s BS.

Team family in a firefight and Connie was heartbroken that her CW guy got shot. OMG...JUDITH. She stepped into save Maggie from being shot and now we just have to see which member of Team Family kills Pamela.

These variant walkers are something else. Maybe Lance makes a return and bites the shit outta Pamela. Poetic justice that would be.

Ms. Power Hungry CW trooper has realized she picked the wrong side...Can’t go back Bob. Pamela is just EVIL incarnate.

Team Family being inadvertently hemmed in, thinking they are the ones under attack when they are merely collateral damage because of Pamela’s bone headed idea.

Carol leading the way to clear the path for Daryl to get Judith to help...my heart. Daryl calling her name and his fear looking down at Judith. Judith calling him Daddy..OH MY HEART. I cannot believe we have to wait two weeks for the finale. I cannot believe there is only one episode left. I am excited and sad at the same time.

Okay. from a Caryl stand point... I really feel like we were fed very well this episode. As well as could be done with how things have been done thus far. To me, everything has been teed up perfectly for a Caryl canon moment in the finale. How that happens I have no idea. The majority of the scenes from the SDCC trailer have played out in the episodes till this point, so I do feel like there are times for conversations to be had. The finale is probably around 1 hour 10-15 minutes as it’s put into a time frame of 1.5 hours on the AMC schedule. I have no idea on spoilers and we will all go in blind including the reviewers as screeners will not be sent out for the finale. I will leave you all with this screengrab from the finale trailer. Daryl and Carol seem to be standing very close together over Zeke’s shoulder, but that could be camera angle, but it felt like perhaps something has happened. I don’t want to give anyone false hope, but I swear it looks like Daryl has his arm around Carol and her head may be leaning on his shoulder. I am definitely looking through my Caryl tinted glasses at though, so you may want to ignore me, lol But everyone Caryl on for 2 more weeks and we shall see how they finish this out. (I hope we get great news on the continuation of Carol and Caryl’s story post TWD).
