Tatsuki kept fussing over her hair while Halibel applied make-up. Rangiku was going over 20 emergency plans along with Riruka and Orihime couldn't help but smile.

"If you get nerveous just say so and we'll shoo everyone away." Halibel told her. "Cyan and Tesla have the exits all cleared and I don't even have to ask Nnoitra to fight whoever wants to get violent."

She giggled. "That's okay Hali. I specifically had Kenpachi seated away from him to stop the fights. And I'll be fine. This time I'm marrying my soulmate. I can feel it."

After a failed wedding she thought she'd be feeling much more nerveous, that she would be second guessing everything. But there was nothing to stress her now, since Ulquiorra had proven time and time again his love for her, and she hoped that she had also proved herself to him.

"There, all better. Now, let's get you married."

Had it happened a year ago, she would've ran out again, for the circumstances were eerily similar. But this wasn't her nightmare first wedding and she wasn't alone this time. Tatsuki held onto her as they were both about to enter the hall when they spotted Ichigo and Ulquiorra talking.

"Kurosaki, unless there was last minute change that I wasn't made aware of, you're not a part of this wedding. So please explain to me quickly why you've asked to see me."

"I asked for you because I know Inoue would've refused. I'm not here for the ceremony, I'm just here to bring this."

He handed Ulquiorra an envelope. "What is this?"

"A scholarship voucher. Inoue just has to take it to the University and she'll have a pedagogy scholarship paid in full."

"Kurosaki, I may bring this to her but I doubt she'll accept it. Money was never what she wanted from you, and you know it."

"I do. And I know that a million apologies won't make up for what I did. But if anything else I hope this can help fix some of the damage I caused.

If you want, tell Inoue that I'm sorry and that I hope that someday we may go back to being friends but that even if we the rest of our lives without meeting again tell her she was the best friend, and girlfriend a guy could ask for. That I was wrong for taking her for granted, that I wish her all the best, and that in happy she has you to take care of her.

Sorry for the trouble, have a good wedding."

He left as quick as he'd arrived. Once they were alone, Tatsuki came out hiding and approached Ulquiorra. "We heard."

"Yes well, this is for my princess to decide. I have no interest in meddling. I'll be at the altar. See you soon, woman!" He said as he walked down to wait for her.

"Your husband is such a sap." Tatsuki told her. "Here's the envelope."

"I don't wanna think about Ichigo for a while. You can keep that until we're back from the honeymoon. Right now, I have to marry my soulmate."

Ulquiorra was unrecognizable, as not many had seen him smiling. But now he couldn't help himself.

The music was beautiful, and both groomsmen and bridesmaids walked down the aisle decked in dark green suits and teal dresses. But his eyes were glued to his beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle in a white princess gown.

Orihime had a smile on her face, and crystaline silver eyes that were full of happy tears, when he lifted her veil. Looking at her face in that moment was proof that soulmates existed. As he couldn't imagine himself with anyone other than her.

"I love you." He whispered before kissing her.

"I love you too." She told him once they parted.

Admist the cheers and rose petals he could feel Orihime clinging tightly to his hand. He treasured that touch greatly, because once a long time ago it was last thing he felt before facing oblivion.

But no more, he could now hold his dear woman whenever he wished.

Look. Okay. So. We hate it when shit works, right? It fuckin sucks that taking a walk or cleaning or whatever helps, because we've only been told to do those things by people operating in bad faith.

But I am a neurodiverse person with memory issues and I am telling you you need to try a to-do list. This is what mine looks like:

(this is cleaned up to take out identifying information, etc)

I think a thing that a lot of l people are not explained when it comes to things like planners and lists is that this is a golden opportunity to outsource brain work that you're bad at. I have memory problems and focus issues. All the bullshit at work I have to juggle? Not my job to remember it; that's what the list is for.

What were you gonna do next? List.

Boss asks what you've done today? List.

Turned away for two minutes and now you don't even remember what fuckin industry you work in? List.

My job can be very hectic and in one day I'm doing work with four different programs. I regularly get assigned work that has to be done immediately. That is too much to expect my brain to deal with. A to-do list is an extremely simple tool that does an incredible amount of work with a small amount of effort from you. Invest in your well-being; externalize a mundane but difficult part of life.

Also checking things off is incredibly satisfying. Sometimes I write shit down for the seratonin.

To-do lists catch a lot of flak because they seem like normie bullshit for people who are unpleasantly motivated, but try it out, you may be surprised!

I also have some tips for efficiency that I will put under the jump:

Choose a place the notepad always goes. If you work in more than one place, get a second notepad for the other place. Holy shit you'll fuck yourself if you get in the habit and then convince yourself you can't start without it.

Get a notepad. Doesn't matter what it is, but it is CRUCIAL that you not use it for anything else. It needs to be ONLY for your to-do list. These guys were $1.50 at Michaels and I bought loads of them.

Scribble down literally anything. I write down projects I'll be working on for 6 months and also to water my plants. This list is cleaned up bc it had some identifying information on it, but normally I just scrawl whatever makes sense. It's your space for only you and not anybody else; nobody else is allowed to use it.

Set ground rules. What can you put other than the list? I doodle on mine and occasionally make short notes regarding tasks from the list. Nothing else is allowed. I don't usually list things from my personal life; those tasks are kept on my phone.

Decide on your markings. Mine are pretty simple: / if I've finished, X if it's cancelled, ? if it's in doubt. There are much more complicated systems but I never could keep up with them. Once it's marked, it's out of my hands; for projects spanning multiple days, once I've gotten as far as I meant, I mark it off.

Don't cross things out! It seems good now but it is a bad idea! It makes it harder for you to see what you have accomplished. You want to victoriously slash your pen across the page, but still see that you got shit done.

That's largely it? Some people save their lists from previous days or set aside a specific time to move their undone tasks over. It's totally fine not to finish something; it just goes on the next page.

Some people prioritize tasks; I don't, because in my job, it doesn't have to get done in order, it just has to get done. It actually helps me unprioritize my tasks so I don't get hung up on the biggest ones. I don't have to go "I must do this now or forget forever," because I've outsourced that responsibility. Instead I can go "I don't have time to get anything started, I want to not be at my desk, let me do this item here that takes 5 minutes."

Okay I know I said like a week ago that I wanted to start being more active, but then I got like really fucking busy pretty much immediately after posting that soooo

Rundown:

Last competition season for me before I leave my band (every single weekend this month + two practices a week)

My brother got married (my mother was wedding planner and we were doing a lot of it from scratch)

I'm flying to Scotland in- let me count- six fucking days because our band is going to compete in the world championships over there (bagpiping championships- we're competing in grade 4A against 26 other bands and are the only US band competing in that grade level)

I have family things going on

I have other things going on regarding other significant relationships of mine

I work an 8 hour job 3 days a week

That ties in all my stress in a neat little bow now doesn't it :D

And yeah some of it doesn't sound that bad, but all added up it's been a lot of stress, and I haven't had a truly free day in about 2 months

Anyway so yeah!!

I have not done a whole lot of art lately, but there is a little so I'll put that under the cut here

It is a wild thrown together spew of art, and unfortunately yes, this is all I have gotten done since last I posted anything art related, or if I did get anything else done, it was too long ago for me to remember...

Three are from The Weave of Silence campaign, two are from the Dragon Souls campaign, one is from my new Forgotten Realms campaign, and one is because Outer Wilds had and now always will have me by throat (best fucking game ever)

And for those who have been around a good long while, may recognize a couple of these guys....maybe........

So if you're asking yourself, "Rory!!! Are those Jynx and Twikk?!" The answer is yes!!!! I have reestablished them as characters in The Weave of Silence! THE BOYS ARE BACK BAYBEE!!!!

In all realness though, yeah! I brought them back out cause I love them so much, and I was getting a little bored of playing Callahan tbh. But don't worry! Our big green-sweatered friend is not gone for good, I promise. I just needed a break

I'd tell you more about the boys and how they got integrated into the campaign and how they're getting along with other players, but its almost 3 am for me now, so I'll save that for if anyone asks about them

Sorry it's been so long folks!! I'll probably continue to not be active during August (see: I'm traveling to Scotland the whole month and will be competing in the worlds there and therefore very bust and stressed) but things will calm down after that so hopefully I'll get my groove back

Thoughts journal about Season 13!! 💪💪 (1/4)

Phew, I actually made it to the English release without spoilers! 🤩 I do know general things about little plots for the ninja, hopefully nothing major! Finally, the Cole season we've all been waiting for, with Rock Mom and possibly plenty of our Earth baby development! COLE IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT LAST!! 🖤🖤

Well, I know I'll be shooting rainbows from my eyeballs if I see even one Nexo Knights reference! For the rest I don't really know what will happen, I'm curious! 🤔

It's the 6th of July, and here we go!!

GENERAL THOUGHTS

Is it just me or the dialogues sounds better? More built up, funnier, cohesive just like in the earliest seasons of Ninjago? Maybe it's just me but I'm really appreciating 🤷‍♀️

It also doesn't feel that rushed anymore! Which was my biggest problem in Prime Empire really. The episodes seem to me like fragments of a nice movie, not a too long story forced into 11 minutes. I'm very happy with the quality so far, I feel good about this for now! 👍

No matter what season it is, you can count on The Fold to make an AMAZING intro!! Freaking awesome, it was epic and very final battle like 👌👌 I WANT THE FULL VERSION ASAP!!!

I do appreciate we are not forgetting about the adventures we had until now, it feels like from season 11 forward we are building a new backstory of. But they still show stuff from the very first seasons so I'm happy anyway 😍

Pff, Cole plays Prime Empire right after being trapped in it. And Lloyd joins in! YES!! Maybe there is hope for a season without greenie being traumatized! 👍👍

Also he's doing laundry because I DON'T WANNA DO THE DISHES NO MORE~ 😎

The chicken is back 😂 The constant reference to the movie we are all kinda attached to a this point (well I am, LOOK AT THE LITTLE HAT 💕💕)

Is it me being a "I've rewatched this show way too much" type of fan to feel that Nya saying that Jay using Spinjitzu for chores will get Wu mad might be a reference to how the guys had cleaned the very first Destiny Bounty with that? You think that Wu found out and got crazy mad? That would be kinda cool 😂😂

Okay, poor sensei and all, but he's kinda right 😅 I like Wu, I really do, but Aspheera was a problem kinda because of him, they all going to another dangerous realm could have been dealt a lot better if he hadn't been so on edge and in Prime Empire he freaking got kidnapped by NORMAL PEOPLE. Maybe he is getting old 🤷‍♀️

At last, he has returned...

THE ONE AND ONLY RULER OF NINJAGO, THE POSTMAN!!! 💜💜💜 Was he missing since March of the Oni? I can't remember if he was around for the Aspheera part 🤔

Soooo, not to be that person, but a secret group of royals asking the ninja to meet them in a place that was never open for outsiders before then? Kinda... feels familiar... *SoG flashbacks* 😰

Okay, not the biggest fan of Misako, but her scolding Wu was kinda fun 🤣 Needed to change the animation for her to get a bit of personality apparently 😉

I am legit enjoying this 👌 They are building up questions and I do hope we'll get a good flashback moment with Rock mom... or even finding out if something else happened to her... EXCITED 🤩🤩

So to be the main ninja of a season lately you have to be either without powers (Kai Fire Chapter) or trapped in an unknown place (Zane Ice Chapter and Jay Prime Empire). Cole got them both 😅

There we go, the divided team! I knew about Kai and Zane stuck together, I remember stuff not too promising about Nya having to fight for Jay, but I'm honestly really enjoying the season so far! I like the pace and it doesn't seem as rushed as before! I hope we get to some good plot twists and backstories soon!! 🤩🤩

Type : best friends au

Genre : fluff, slice of life, soft Seungkwan and strong reader? Like mentally strong and the reader always protects him? You get the point.

Word count : 2k

Synopsis : Seungkwan had always needed someone to look after him, he was too naive for the world but you were always there to protect him from all the odds, you were the bold one in this friendship.

A/N : This is solely inspired by a movie I watched and I really loved the interaction between the two best friend.

The music was played blissfully at the church by the band, all of the people who came to attened the wedding were either sulking at how boring the wedding was or were either pretending to be interested.

Even if we take a look at the bride and groom who were seated in their respected seat; the bride was taking selfies and the groom was chatting with some random person.

Isn't wedding suppose to be the most happiest and lively event?

You heard someone yell your name making you halt your activity and turn towards the voice, the father of the bride made his way towards you who was busy managing other activities of the wedding.

"Yes Sir?"

You didn't even made an effort to smile fakely at the man standing in front of you.

"You're not doing you're job properly, look how boring the wedding seems to be."

He exclaimed pointing at the people and the atmosphere of the wedding which made you scoff and roll your eyes at the said man.

"Listen Sir-" you breathed in, "- I have done my part as a wedding planner for this wedding, I have decorated the church with flowers and also the outside plus the song list you gave to me for the wedding I'm even playing it, now, it's not my fault that you have such boring family and relative who can't hype up the mood of the wedding, you can't expect me to do that!"

You were really tired, now what do they want you to do? Dance your heart out and entertain people so that they won't be bored? Being a wedding planner was surely a hard job. You even needed to bear the people's reckless tantrums.

"Hangin, the plates for the lunch have out numbered the guests in the wedding and we need more plates."

The brother of the man came rushing towards you and the bride's father.

"See-"

But before he could utter a single word you stopped him by showing your hand in front of him since your phone started to vibrate.

You looked at the caller ID to see Seungkwan written over it with a picture of a really adorable boy. You shook your head and decided to answer your best friend's call afterward and kept it inside your pocket.

"I told you guys that the plates will be out numbered, in a wedding with guest list of 1200 people you just asked me bring 700 plates saying it's not necessary that everyone will come and now see what has happened, you're such a miser."

You finally snapped at the man.

"Now how are we going to manage this?" Hangin asked you finally giving in and accepting it's his fault.

You nodded thinking of a way to get out of this trouble.

"I have an idea, I'll bring out 400 plates more but I need 200 dollars more."

"What? That's too much!"

"I didn't tell you to mess up in the first place plus since I know your condition I'm willing to take just 200 dollars otherwise other planners would have took nearly 500 for the urgent delivery."

You reasoned as you waited for their answer.

Both the brothers sighed.

"Okay I'll give you the required money just get you're thing done."

"Okay let's go." you agreed smiling at yourself for gaining an extra amout of money.

"Listen Vernon I need 400 plates more for the Jung's wedding urgently so bring it in 1 hour or less."

You informed your manager/friend calling him to tell about the emergency.

"Okay baby."

He chuckled before hanging up, he liked watching you being this stress but alas he wasn't there to witness it.

As you were observing if there were any other mistakes, a lady in her mid 30's, probably the aunt of groom, stopped you from going any further.

You looked at the lady with an eyebrow raised, you weren't normally this grumpy but there are different kinds of people in this world and they need to be treated just the way they treat others.

"I don't like this white rose system, it feels like you have came to a funeral hall."

She exclaimed while making a face at the decorations.

You huffed.

"Well I'm sorry ma'am but it was the bride's wish for the flowers to be white."

"Can't you change this flowers to green colored flowers?" The lady asked. "I like green more."

"I'm sorry ma'am but the wedding is almost finished I don't think I can do that plus it's hard to find such a big amount of green colored flowers."

"I don't know who gave you the permission to be the wedding planner of this wedding. Who even gave you the degree of being one huh? I will do a better job than you in this field." The lady said while blowing her manicured nails.

"Listen woman, you don't know how much knowledge and patience is required to be at this stage and you're better than me? Hell not even in your dreams who likes green flowers you dumb."

You scoffed and walked away.

Your phone rang again making you take it out in front of you Seungkwan was written on the caller ID, sighing you picked up the call.

As soon as you picked up the call you could clearly hear your best friend crying at the other end.

"Now what?"

You had already grown tired of your best friend's crying, not that you were heartless but the reason made sense.

"World is so cruel to me, this time it was my fault, I shouldn't have done that."

Seungkwan's voice cracked as he spoke with you.

"Yeah yeah the world is really cruel and the life can be hard sometimes." you said but that only made him cry more.

"Where are you Boo?"

You asked him softly taking in consideration that he's crying right now and he can't be treated harshly.

Seungkwan gave you the address where he is and without even a second glance you headed out of the church to fetch your bestie.

After fetching him up and constantly listening to him babbling about random things but not exactly telling you what happened, along with that crying face, both of you finally reached at your apartment.

He rushed out first and went inside the kitchen got himself a big piece of cake and sat at the corner of the kitchen silently eating and looking at nothing in particular.

You removed your blazer and shoes and stood in front of Justice.

"Mind telling me what has happened?" you asked putting both of your hands on your hips and here we go the Nigra falls started to flow again.

"Will you even tell me what has happened?"

You were so done with his constant crying that you had to control your urge to smack his head.

"Jaeyung."

"Now what? I know you're crying because of her but I want the reason, from the past 2 years all you do is cry over her and nothing else."

"It wasn't her fault, it was mine this time." he cried as he was still eating the cake.

"Eat first and then talk you brat." you made a face at him.

"Shut up. I'm already hurt."

You sighed and sat in front of him, crossed leg.

"Why don't you break up with her already?"

"I love her." Justice

"But I don't think she loves you."

"Why do you think like that? She loves me."

You pinched your eyebrows with your hands and started counting three to control your anger and also the throbbing headache which you know was soon going to follow.

"See you remember that time?"

"Which time?"

He casually asked you still eating the cake not really remembering what time.

"The time when she yelled at you for posting a picture of you with Bora."

"She was jealous okay, girlfriends tend to be jealous."

"And then he posted a picture of her with two random boys we don't even know about."

"She's different."

He furrowed his eyebrows pouting at you.

"Every freaking boy on the earth thinks that his woman is special but since it's coming from you're mouth, I know we are fucked up."

"But-"

"But what? Remember when both of us went to club with her and she introduce us to a new boy?"

"What about that?"

"Shw introduced you as her close friend and not as her boyfriend, did you get that? AS A CLOSE FRIEND, don't you know what happens when girlfriends starts introducing their boyfriends as close friends to someone?"

"But she said that she didn't want him to know about us because he was her cousin."

You rolled your eyes as you took out your phone, open up your instagram account and showed it to him.

"See where do you find a picture of both of you on her account. She has herpictures with so many boys but not with her own boyfriend."

You snapped showing him Jaeyung's profile.

"Okay I got it, it was her fault that time but this time it was me."

You motioned him to go on.

"She was in bathroom and suddenly her phone vibrated so I went to take a look at it and before I could do anything she snatched it away form me and was angry cause she thought that I'm doubting her." he says softly sniffling a bit.

"Do you know that she has a tinder account?"

"Nope." he answered.

"Boo she has a tinder account! Why does she even need it anyway? And why didn't she tell you? Do you know what it means?" you dramatically questioned.

"But what's the big deal anyway."

"Boo-" you stood up. "-out of two years means 24 months which means hundred and four weeks, she made you cry for hundred and two weeks, what kind of relationship averages one week of happiness per year?"

Seungkwan just looked at you and blinked multiple times digesting fully on what you just said.

"Then what should I do?"

"Finish it boy!"

"But I've been with her for 2 years already."

"It's never too late Boo plus that girl, I don't think she even loves you, you can forget her." you patted the latter's shoulder.

"I can't, I love her."

"Well I'm sorry then this is the only way I can save you up from that asshole."

You put both of your hand on your waist looking intently at him.

He gulped as you stood up looking at your eyes with confusion and fear written all over his face. What will you do?

"Me or her?"

The words left your mouth and horror plastered all over his face. He sighed knowing all well that whatever happens in his life he will always choose you and you'll always choose him.

"What club are we going to this time?"

You grinned at him already knowing you will win if you put out the said question in front of him.

"Surprise." and he groaned knowing he's going to have a wild night.

-Eldritch Monster AU! Hermits are all Lovecraftian horrors who all individually decided that they wanted to pretend to be normal and are all trying to hide their otherworldliness. I also feel like Mumbo or X or someone as the one actually "normal" player on the server would work well. Most hermits don't know that everyone else isn't normal either, but some find out about friends maybe.

-Rabid Debate Club AU :: Random weird au idea where it's basic hs/uni au but like two of them try to start a debate club, then invite some friends just so there's enough people; cut to like two months later, it's all the hermits just fighting over whether or not pineapple should go on pizza or not lol it isn't very good i'm sorry but ya know rabid debate club AU.

-Animal/shapeshifting AU :: (Suggested Twice.) Every hermit can shapeshift into one token animal. (If it's something like "dog," they can only turn into one breed and color of dog, EXAMPLE: doc can shift into a black sable belgian malinois, but not anything else.)

-Wedding Planners AU :: Hermits work in various unrelated businesses such as a bakery, flower shop, etc., but see each other semi-often bc they're semi-often called upon to work together by another hermit's wedding planning business (obvs if you couldn't tell i know absolutely nothing abt wedding planning & businesses n shit lol but it's the /concept/ of it yannknow)

-Adventure Time AU :: The hermits live in a post-apocalyptic world and the Lich (bad guy) is making everything decay. They need to gather all the gems (belt colours) to unlock the Enchiridion (a book) and have one wish each granted from Prismo (multiverse wish granting dude) before the Lich does. Only 4 elements can enter the multiverse: Slime (The Lich & Jevin), Redstone (Tango or Mumbo?), Ice (Stress), and Dirt (Grian, much to his dismay). Only the elementals can see the book. Grian's the protagonist with his sidekick Scar. He originally started collecting the belts because they were shiny but eventually decided to read the book and find out what they were for when Scar said he didn't see it. Doc, False, and Iskall are major obstacles because they don't believe the book exists.</p>

-Marching Band AU :: Xisuma is the band major and all the show music is the remixes. I need to come up with some ideas for uniforms. Outfits and flags for the colorguard too.

-Different Eras AU :: (Suggested Twice.) All the hermits are from different time periods or eras. Like Wels is from the mediveal/dark era, Mumbo is from 1890-1920's, Iskall is from 2030, TFC is from 2020(?), Cleo is from 2130, etc!!! Like the mobs/animals became feused with humans, is when the mob players came from.

-Star Trek AU :: Like maybe they could be on one ship and each have different roles like engineers or doctors? I don’t know if this has been suggested but hope you enjoy! - 🐦

-Atlantis AU :: (Could be merged with Mermaid AU???)

Xisuma - Making barriers, teleporting, and transforming into different mobs. Scar - Making mutant plants & boosting other hermits' attack & health. (-@datsaltyperson.)

-Demon AU :: Something enters the overworld and turns into a supernatural style-demon through Dimentional Distortion. Who gets posessed first, who goes crazy, and who actually kills it? Honestly I think that, if anything, Tango would know how to gank it, for obvious reasons. (-@fireflower-dusk.)

-High Street AU :: Everyone owns a different shop on the same street or some run a shop together (-@violets-arepurple.)

-Cat AU :: Either they're were always cats, or Hels turned everyone, including himself, into a cat, and they have to survive and overcome challenges in the Season 7 world. An example of a challenge would be Cub's a Sand Cat(the cats that always look like kittens no matter how old they are and live in deserts), and everyone's not sure if he can actually swim, so they have to find a way for him to get around without involving water. -How about a secret AU.. Every hermit has their big secrets and when Grian joined. He doesn't really know anything about those secrets even till season 7. Not many hermits talked to him in S6 anyway.. Mumbo was the closest to him so they would have regular chats For Iskall is mostly business related things Grian wants to know why so he set out on a quest to force the others to at least talk to him so he wouldn't be lonely. -Hermit Family AU :: Xisuma is very busy dad but when he isnt busy the kids and younger hermits annoying the hell out of him. Grian once asked to use Xisuma's computer and crashed the whole thing trying to download illegal gamesites and get money off the internet. Hi guys! Tomorrow is my first day of school. I'll be in 11th grade. This list is just a list of things i wish i knew when i was younger, though not all of them. But i hope you guys will still find this helpful!

•don't leave your pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters etc. lying around. don't leave them on your school desk or at home. especially if your pen is expensive or cute. people will take it and never give it back, even if it has your name on it. immediately put your supplies inside your bag.

•i have a tendency to leave my pencil case at home whenever i studied the night before. so, prepare everything you will need the night before. even if you're sleepy. don't do it in the morning. you'll save yourself the time + morning rush, plus, you won't forget your supplies.

•bring an extra pen, pencil and eraser, but don't put this inside your pencil case. put this inside one of your bag's pockets.

-if someone will need to borrow a pen, pencil etc, you can just take these out of your bag, without letting them see your extensive pen collection.

-if you leave your pencil case at home, you can just use these.

•it's okay to let people borrow a pen or a pencil, but if they continue to forget to bring their own, or keep loosing your pens, it's best to say no.

•back when i was in elementary school, i was called the "National Bookstore" of the classroom. this was because i had every supply with me: glue, stapler, pencil sharpener, extra pens + pencils, scissors, you name it. note: i only brought these with me if the teacher told us to bring art materials for a project. and as the name implies, a lot of my classmates borrowed from me + never gave them back. though we're all in our upper levels already, here are my current solutions: 1) only let the people nearest you borrow your stuff (if you're feeling generous) so you can keep track on who borrows 2) say no or lie (if you're not feeling generous) 3) only bring what's important

•concerning pad paper + index cards: rip out pad papers (1 whole sheets, 1/4 sheets, 1/2 sheets) in advance + place them inside your binder/folder. this goes as well for keeping a few sheets of bond paper + a few index cards in there as well. this is because whenever the teacher told us to "get a sheet of paper", everyone would be searching for a friend or classmate to ask from. i don't know if this in practice wherever you guys are, but it still is here where i live. and i just decided to add this quick tip as well. it's okay to give some paper to your classmates, but you'll be the one left with a reduced pad of paper.

•bring a bottle of water with you. it's a common tip but overlooked most of the time. you can just refill it with cold water.

•if your pencil case has a secret pocket inside it, you can slip in some money, to be used only for emergencies, in case you left your wallet or it gone stolen or something.

•choose the right friends and once the friendship has gone toxic, tell your friends what's wrong and why. both of you can make up for it, but if the friendship is still toxic, it's time to cut it off, even if that friend was your best friend. people change over time.

•if you're struggling with making friends (like me, btw messages are always open. kink tumblrs will be blocked), know that you'll find the right people in due time. you can make up that time by meeting new people, going to coffee shops, going on day trips and anything else whenever you feel lonely. be kind, friendly and open-minded.

•get yourself a planner. write down everything you need to get done: assignments to do, projects to start, essays to write, chores to do etc. i still like to bullet journal, but if you have a busy schedule, it can be hard to maintain an aesthetic sometimes. i moved my "bullet journal" into a small notebook that can fit inside my uniform skirt pocket, so that i can always write down what i have to do whenever and wherever. i also keep a pen with me. but if you don't have a large pocket, there are great to-do list apps out there. i like MinimaList.

•know that there will be times where you will feel on top, and days where you feel like a failure. and that's okay. everyone has experienced failure. you may whine about it or tell yourself that you can't handle it anymore, but know that your failures will shape you into the strongest, toughest + most determined person you know.

•study 3 weeks before the exams. this gives you two weeks to study + summarize notes and one more week to review your lessons again and again and time to make your projects ( up until now, i still wonder why my teachers give out projects a week before the exam, to be passed the day before, the day after or the hour after the scheduled exam )

•bring a toothbrush and toothpaste. brush your teeth after you eat lunch (if you eat lunch at school) at the girl's bathroom. lock yourself in a stall if you want to if you. fresh breath is so important, as well as dental hygiene. alternatively, you can have a mint.

•do your homework as soon as you get home. and if there are projects that need ti be done, schedule or make a plan on what you're going to do and how you're going to do it.

•with this 'project plan', you'll be able to track your progress. And if you're in a group-assigned project, you can relay this plan to your groupmates, so that they know what to do.

•don't cheat. sure, you it's easier, but you're not doing yourself a favor. you won't be learning as effectively, you'll rely more on it and, worst case scenario, you might get caught.

Hey guys

So even though I know this won't reach out to a large number of people I still wanted to share it just in case it'll end up helping someone. I've been stuck in a depressive rut for quite some time and honestly I'm not studying at all which I'm not proud of but we should focus on improving rather than guilt tripping ourselves (which I've been doing from past few weeks).

So I'm one of those people who know they can do so much better only if we could control our minds. Mental health is extremely important but that doesn't mean you can take an year off and not study at all.

So here are few things that help me get back on track and I'll also mention things to do on a daily basis to avoid falling into a rut again.

☾ Take a shower if you haven't already or wash your face. You can put on a face mask if you want to.

☾ Don't force your brain to do huge tasks. Just get out of bed and call it an achievement.

☾ Fill your water bottle or make some tea (no coffee I love coffee but we don't need that now).

☾ Grab some fruits or anything healthy to eat (no junk food).

☾ Put a timer of 30 minutes and go on YouTube and only watch motivational videos (speech or whatever).

☾ After your 30 minutes open your journal or bullet journal and write down/read your long term goals. Remind yourself of the bigger picture. Don't stress yourself just think of the positive. Close your eyes and visualise what your successful future would look like.

☾ Now I know not everyone can do meditation but it's a lot easier than what it sounds like you can use an app or a YouTube video to guide you through whatever practice you like (make sure it's not too long or else you'll get bored).

☾ Now all the important things are done :) drink your water plan a small study session in your planner/bujo and if you want you can plan a small reward too.

☾ If you still feel too overwhelmed don't force yourself it's alright to feel that way. You can repeat few steps if you feel like it, if not you should feel proud that you at least got out of bed!

☾ Force yourself to keep a proper sleep schedule(I'm terrible at it). I know it's hard when you have a lot to study but I swear this helps so much.

☾ Workout,im not saying you have to go to gym and lift weights but a nice small home workout is just fine to get your heart pumping. Working out has been proven to help with depression.

☾ Watch motivational speeches in the morning (while having breakfast).

☾ This is optional but you can write morning pages to start your day positively. I always fail to do so but I try to do this whenever I can and it does help.

☾ This may sound weird but try watching a 5-10 minutes motivational video after every study session (after every 2 hours) this can help you keep going even when your mind keeps telling you to quit. I did this during the worst time of my struggle and I ended up making it the time when i studied the best (17 hours per day).

☾ Remember to not push yourself but also not to use depression as an excuse to be lazy (like I do) you can still get things done while taking care of yourself and 10 minutes of studying is better than no studying.

☾ Stop yourself whenever you catch yourself regretting your past mistakes (which I do a lotttt) it's because I regret wasting all that time and not studying as well as I could have but one thing I always tell myself is. "it doesn't matter where you are and what you did what matters is what you're going to do now and what you'll make of the time you have now"

I hoped this helps at least one person out there. These aren't the universal steps so you can always add something that helps you or you can let others know about it too!
