What’s that you’re looking at? You need a clearer shot. Move your head a little so that you aren’t looking straight at the pillar. Keep yourself hidden! Good, good. Focus your eyesight. Now, what do you see?

The grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. The cyromancer. The man with a deep, icey voice that makes your heart beat. The man with such dark eyes that you worry he will look right through you and find out your intentions. The man with great strength you have confidence that he could pick you up easily. That man would be Bi-Han.

You have been of great assistance to Lord Liu Kang many times. You guys are basically friends at this point. Your visits to the Fire Temple were frequent. Which is how you ran into the Lin Kuei brothers. But your eyes caught on only one of them and that was Bi-Han.

That stance that oozes power. That gorgeous black hair that was put so nicely into a bun. Those muscles…ooooo. It all pulled you in. You wanted a closer look but you were scared off quickly. He didn’t purposefully do it, he just spoke up and you heard his voice. It striked your soul, causing your body move on its own and made you turn on your heels to walk away.

It felt like every time you wanted to approach him it was something else that got you. More and more you started to recognize his cold and harsh demeanor. He seemed to have little patience. Anything and everything was ticking him off. A temper tantrum ready to happen.

Yet you kept getting pulled in. It’s like how one would be drawn in by a snow leopard. It may be cool looking and even cute but it is dangerous. He is a dangerous man but you are still drawn in by his handsome looks and gorgeous body. If not lovable, why lovable shaped?

Once they left you immediately asked Liu Kang about Bi-Han. He told you all about him and his importance. You looked with awe in your eyes as you listened to everything he said. You had to see him again.

You kept going over to the temple in hopes of getting a glimpse of Bi-Han. Luckily for you it seemed like Liu Kang was always calling for the brothers. Behind pillars, in the bushes, behind some of the structures. Wherever you could you hid so you could see Bi-Han. It was harder when he was walking around since you would had to move too, hoping there was some place to hide. Raiden and Kung Lao would catch you sneaking around, asking you what was wrong. You wouldn’t say anything. You’d just put your head down and walk away saying nothing which made them think they did something wrong.

Unfortunately for you, you aren’t the sneakiest weasel of the temple.

Did you think he wouldn’t notice the leaves on the bushes rustle when there wasn’t any wind? Or when there were an extra pair of footsteps nearby that moved whenever he did? Not to mention your ankle would crack sometimes which alerted him.

Let’s not forget your attempts to get real close. When he would go inside the temple and you would follow close by. You’d act like you were looking for a particular book that you knew wasn’t there. Liu Kang even called you out by asking which book you were looking for. Just like before you would put your head down and walk away without saying anything.

Bi-Han caught on quickly to your antics. He doubted you had any bad intentions. But he kept his eye on you more.

“What is it, brother?” Kuai Liang whispered to Bi-Han, unsure why his brother was looking at a certain direction.

“That woman…” he mumbled, “That woman never stops. She has been eyes us down for days.”

Like clockwork you poked your head out from behind a pillar. You realized you were being watched by him. You hid once again behind the pillar, worried you just ruined everything.

“I think you are mistaken. She is not eyeing us down. She is eyeing you down. I think you have a secret admirer.”

While the concept is not strange to him, he has never seen one that goes for days without saying a word. What he doesn’t understand is the idea of people being shy. Being shy is not an option in his mind. If you like him that much why not talk to him?

Bi-Han was about to walk in your direction to confront you but Kuai Liang stopped him.

“No wait, you’ll scare her away. She’s clearly shy. Give her some time and she’ll come to you.”

“A few weeks isn’t enough time?” Bi-Han replied with lots of sarcasm, “Fine, I’ll give her another day.”

What’s that supposed to mean? Well you don’t know you didn’t hear it. You’ll find out soon enough.

A yelp rang out throughout the temple. It alerted Kuai Liang, Tomas, and Liu Kang that Bi-Han found you. You were caught in the act and your disappointed sigh told him that you were looking for him the whole time. Now you have to face your crush.

There is no hiding your attraction anymore. You have to look into Bi-Han’s eyes and at least say hi. Introduce yourself now since you have the chance. Stay calm, you got this.

“Do not walk away. Stop playing these foolish games.” He commanded you.

You turned right back around and stood in front of him. You looked down at the ground, too embarrassed and nervous to look up at him. He was taller than you expected. And his broad shoulders intimidated you more than you expected.

“Well, speak up. Do you have anything to say to me?”

You took a few seconds to think of what you wanted to say. Your brain was all fogged up and the only comprehensible thing to do was give him a little wave. I mean it’s an improvement, you interacted with him.

He gave an aggrieved sigh, “Anything else?”

Bi-Han just wants one word out of you. You already interested him by being yourself. He has never seen someone this shy before that even a word was hard to get out of them. In a way he kind of found it cute. Like a scared little mouse trying to stay undetected from a wild cat. But this little game of hide and seek should end now. Introduce yourself to him and quit hiding in bushes.

Bepo, with a lovely warming pot of tea (or a kettle at least), and a club? (to protect the captain?), finds him skiving off with a snow leopard, a funnel, and maybe an empty bottle of Vodka. Chapter title is: "I've been looking for you", and it refers to the giants, I think, looking for the Straw Hats, and Usopp (especially), looking (out) for the giants, and Catarina Devon doing what, exactly? But Caribou, snivelling little sop of a man that he is, looking out for Blackbeard (his current lord and saviour). But, I'm with Bepo, looking out for Law!

The Blackbeards' land on Egghead and St. Jay Garcia Saturn says he knows all about Blackbeard's background, and Catarina knows it too, and I think it's maybe something separate from the "D" initial, cos', after all, it is in Teach's public name. But we see Van Augur--(like, why is the anime captioning him as Van Ogre when Augur is written clearly on the screen? But anyway). The last time we saw him

was

here in chapter 1081 when Bepo went Sulong and escaped with Law. Most of us thought that Blackbeard's crew had been split in half because

it was assumed that events were happening concurrently, but

Van Augur and Catarina Devon are here (on Egghead), and perhaps Van Augur could have warped himself there, but here he says

he hasn't mastered the warp warp fruit enough to get him and Catarina off the island, so it's unlikely that he could have warped himself all the way from Winner Island. SO, did they pursue Law and Bepo, and the two are nearby, or with the giants, or, or, or? Or is there some other explanation (about Van Augur--I know that Law's whereabouts is still relegated to cover pages)? I'm not a close reader, so I'm happy to have anything pointed out.

telling Bonney she needs make use of her legs, and Vegapunk decides he's gonna stay (or die), and Borsalino's gonna make sure of it. But!

the power of love is all pervasive! (at least when Sanji's wearing the boots). Although his love was used for protecting Bonney rather than Vegapunk, and probably has more to do with Germa modifications than love, but it is Sanji's motivator, and attacks Kizaru's knowledge of "how things work"!

Kizaru/Borsalino's face in the first panel really shows how much power he's losing. Sentomaru took a path Kizaru could have taken, but didn't. He's following Bellamy's path, so it'll be interesting to see where he ends up. Because he's too smart to be a blind lackey. Being an aware lackey is some powerful conditioning/mental gymnastics.

Okay, this is insane, but a combination of A/B/O posts and posts about those new genshin characters have me thinking deranged stuff and it’s my duty to share it.

thinkin about those hybrid AU’s with Gojo and Geto, you know the ones, snow leopard Gojo and black panther Geto. thinking about those two, apex predators… and fox/inari/kitsune reader. something very interesting about a romantic dynamic between predators and a predator of a different size. with ears and tails to match.

They’re big, huge even. with sharp teeth and agile bodies and techniques to rival gods. but your nothing to laugh at either. easily a 1st grade sorcerer, a predator of small size, with trickery in your veins and a playfulness that demands satisfaction. A natural survival instinct and a brilliant head for strategy and mind games. your teeth may be tiny but their sharp. and you may be small, but your still a predator.

i think Satoru and Suguru would be so charmed by you, taken aback by your defiance. Your refusal to just back down to them. Your funny too. Easily understanding their little pranks and habits of mischief. you get along with both of them alone too. Kitsune are sometimes considered messengers between gods, if makes sense you look so good between then.

if your in a relationship with these two animals (lame, i know) just imagine the things you guys get up to.

i think they tower over. no matter your height. their builds accentuated by their hybrid nature, and they love to point it out. how they can both lift you like you weigh nothing. how Satoru’s long fingers can meet when his hands wrap around your waist. Suguru loves how tiny you look in his shirts. the excess fabric bunching above your tail, showing off your perk ass. he’ll tug up the fabric if it falls down. sometimes when he looks at you, you swear his eyes turn to slits and he just wants to devour you.

Maybe they tease you. oh no they definitely tease you. with sharp toothed grins and wicked eyes, blue and brown respectively. they love prying open your tiny mouth and looking at your sharp sharp teeth. well, sharp to everyone but them. You’ve got sharp teeth but small bite strength. maybe one day you get sick of it, sick of the way Satoru’s fingers rub over your incisors and make you shudder, and you bite him. i think he’d laugh. Suguru would laugh at him, and probably praise you. it didn’t really hurt, not to a big bad predator like him, so it’s funny too.

Thinking about how foxes sleep way less than leopards and panthers. Cuddle piles that, on days you don’t have missions, turn into a comfortable jail cell. With your smaller body sandwiched between the two, Suguru’s arm wrapped around your hips, pulling your lower half towards him, and Satoru grabbing at you with both hands at your shoulder and chest. mindlessly fondling one of your breasts in his sleep. After a few hours, you may have gotten your share of rest, but these two big cats are still sleepy. and they can’t sleep without their little fox, now can they? you try to get up, sneakily get out of bed, but two pairs of large hands are quickly and efficiently pulling you back into their pillowy paradise. Manhandling you into their arms again. i think Suguru would wrap his slim tail around your calf. Satoru would bury his head into the back of your hair, his breathe coincidentally hitting your ears, making them twitch in a way that makes Satoru giggle.

Speaking of ears… god… thinking about how Satoru and Suguru would know that your ears are an erogenous zone and just… continue teasing you anyways. wether in public or the privacy of your bedroom, Satoru lives to make your cute little fox ears twitch. blowing against the sensitive insides or scratching at the backs. he loves the way your eyes widen and your cheeks flush when he plays with them. Think he totally exploits them in bed. Suguru likes to play your little white knight, telling Satoru to stop, but he’s just as bad. Yes, you came from two parents (that day died from the sickness) and you weren't older than the H5G9 virus (is that the name??) But you just felt different, somehow

He would visit the dungeon frequently just to keep an eye on you, and every time he passed by he would peak through the bars to just see you

He felt as if it was his responsibility to keep you safe, even though you barely know him and you see him as a bad guy

When he would come in to take Gus away he would make eye contact with you with a sorry kind of expression before the doors closed. And you eventually picked up on his behavior

Every time he entered you would inch closer and closer, just to see if it wasn't anything that you and your friends sould be worried about. Eventually you warmed up to him slightly, still hated him for traping you and your friends but you weren't afraid to approach him

He would feel all happy inside when you were in front of him for the first time. Feeling like he was protecting you somehow, even though you were just standing in front of him

One day, or sould I say one night. When Johnny was passing by, he saw you sitting by the bars. Your face resting on one of the bars as you looked up at the stars, or to say the fairly small amount of stars that you could see

You didn't realize that Johnny was there, and that he was slowly approaching you

Every night after that he would pass by and give you enough candy for your friends or would give you something edible to eat, he isn't a cook so it would be roughly either a couple cans of food or just sliced up bread. Either way you ate what he gave you

After a while you started to spend more and more time with him. You saying a few words to him was enough to brighten his mood

He, of course, told no one that you could speak. He knew what tests Dr. Singh did on Gus, so he kept your ability to speak a secret. And you didn't tell Johnny that the other hybrids could talk, since you didn't want them in any danger

He would sneak you out of the dungeon at night when everyone is asleep so that you can look up at the stars and run around in the grass, after a while he would bring up the idea of letting you escape

You would deny, saying that you didn't want to leave your friends, and he would be understanding but also confused. Didn't you want freedom?

One night you told him the plan of your escape. He felt honored that you trusted him enough to give out that information, he also asked where you would be going, who you would be going with etc. etc. so that he could try and lead the general in the wrong direction

Before you and your friends escaped he gave you a necklace with a little fake key. The little key had your initials engraved in it

You smiled happily and ran to grab a rock, with you sharp nails you barely carved out a heart and gave it to him. You almost made him cry ngl

The day of your escape he did everything he could to keep any guard away from you and your friends,,, but mostly you if we're being honest

But of course, he couldn't keep you safe for long, he could just be a distraction while you all escape

He just wanted for you to be safe, he knew if he wanted you to be safe, he had to be far away from you

But, he still here the rock you carved him. And you still kept the necklace

When he was traveling with his brother and the crew all he had in mind was you, he was wondering if you knew, if you were safe, if he could do anything to warn you, to let you be safe

Now he was on the ground, pointing an unloaded gun at his brother. He gave this whole speech, and when he was about to pull the trigger, the gun didn't go off

Now to your point of view. You were waiting for the escalator thingy it get back so you could get on, but a gunshot was heard, you ducked down, covering your ears and squeezing your eyes shut. You felt a sudden emptiness fill your heart as you uncovered your ears and looked towards where the gunshot was heard

Your ears fluttered as you ignored your friends calling for you and ran, getting on all fours as you climbed up a tree, jumping from tree to tree so that you would go unnoticed as you approached the area where the gunshot was heard

You looked down and smiled when you was Johnny laying on the ground, you hadn't noticed the blood around him

You jumped down with a huge smile, "Johnny!" You yelled out if happiness, "you came! You're not gonna believe where Gus used to live!" You giggled in excitement, jumping around him, you didn't receive a response

"Johnny?" You questioned, tilting your head as your ears twitched in confusion. You cracked next to him, poking his cheek, "Joooohhhnnnnyyyyy!" You dragged out, continuing to poke his cheek

"This isn't funny!" Your eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as you gripped tightly onto his coat and shook him, "c'mon! Wake up!" You yelled, your face scrunching up in worry as you continued to shake his body. Your heartbeat increased as you shook him more violently, your face morphing from annoyance to worry, "Johnny?" Your voice cracked

You now noticed the blood below him, your eyes widened as you stared to breath heavily, shaking him more and more, "Johnny?! Johnny wake up!" You yelled, tears forming in your eyes as you turned him over. You started to sob as you shook him more and more, thinking that would help him wake up

You opened your mouth to yell his name out again when someone gripped at you hair. You screamed in terror, your claws coming out as you instinctively scratched their mech and but their arm as hard as you could, the guard yelled and cliched onto their neck and hand

You got up, looking at Johnny before starting to sob as you hugged him tightly. You kept sobbing and yelling apologies, as if it was your fault

The person you attacked pulled out a crossbow, but before they could shoot bear attacked them, grabbing you as she pulled you away. You started to sob, not wanting to let go. But bear picked you up and ran away towards the escalator thing as you reached towards Johnny, sobbing as you watched him. Slowly getting farther and farther away

Big Bug Appreciation Post! (1/2)

For anyone who’s been on my blog, or has interacted with me, it’s no surprise I’m a bug enthusiast. But I don’t think I’ve ever made an official bug appreciation post, and there are a lot of bugs in my state that I think are super neat, so I wanted to briefly talk about them here. Not all of them will be insects though.

Unfortunately, I won’t be putting in any isopods or roaches because my state doesn’t have a whole lot of those guys that I would consider “particularly special.” But just note that I do appreciate isopods and roaches, and think that they have a great impact on their natural environments.

Anyway, onto the bugs!

Blue-Winged Wasp

These babes usually hang out in the dog fennel near my yard, and I think they’re very pretty wasps. Their wings are an iridescent blue (hence the name), and their yellow spots are quite cute. They're also relatively chill, so you can stand pretty close to them and they wouldn’t care.

2. Common Paper Wasp

They’re everywhere, but I’d be lying if I said they weren’t pretty either. I think that they have a really neat color palette and super cool pattern to them. I’ve had personal experience with them, and I’ve always made sure that when I went on my balcony, that I didn’t present as a threat to them. Overall, I enjoyed sitting with these pretty critters.

3. Giant Leopard Moth

They look like snow leopards! Ironically enough, similar to how snow leopards are closely related to tigers, leopard moths are closely related to tiger moths (in fact, they’re in the same family). I raised one of these guys. His name was Napoleon, and he was the fanciest little guy 🩵.

4. Amber Snail

It’s usually stated online that amber snails are a pretty rare species. So I think it was pretty neat how I once found five or six on my mom’s calla lilies. They’re very tiny and very adorable, ‘nuff said.

5. Golden Sill Orb Weaver

A huge species of orb weaver that I think is absolutely gorgeous. These gals can get big, and I mean BIG. But no matter the size, it’s always a treat to see them during walks into the woods.

6. Agapostemon Sweat Bee

Agapostemon is actually just a genus of sweat bee, and I’ve personally come across at least two species. All I really need to say about these guys is that they’re metallic green bees, and the ones that live near my house are surprisingly mega chill (I still wouldn’t hold one tho lol).

7. Bee Fly

Maybe not as cute as their Japanese relatives, but they’re still whimsical little fairy creatures that I would absolutely pet in a heartbeat (if given the chance).

8. Flatback Millipede

I just wanted to bring up how metal I think these guys are. 10/10, absolutely fire little guys 🔥🔥🔥.

9. Eastern Pondhawk

They’re everywhere in the local pond and I love them. They’re one of my favorite examples of dimorphism because of how cool the females look (they’re the green ones). But sometimes it can be hard to distinguish a male and a female because younger males are more green. Still, they’re cool bugs.

10. Violet Dancer

In my opinion, one of the prettiest species of damselflies. I’ve encountered one of these before (at a swamp). They’re just as vibrant as in the pictures 💜.

11. Ebony Jewelwing

Another beautiful damselfly! This time, on a larger scale. These can also be found in swamps, and their metallic green color is super cool.

12. Swallowtails (Just in General)

Swallowtails are my state’s official butterfly, and the reason for that is pretty simple: They’re literally everywhere. The most common is the Eastern Tiger, but there are other species, such as: The Black Swallowtail, Zebra Swallowtail, Pipevine Swallowtail, and probably even more. Another neat thing about them is that they’re in the same family as the world’s largest butterfly species: The Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing. So there’s some fun lil trivia for ya 👍.

13. Golden Northern Bumblebee

They’re very friend-shaped, and also very big. In fact, some of them can get bigger than carpenter bees. They don’t visit very often, but I really like them.

14. Variegated Fritillary

A very close relative of the gulf fritillary. In fact, I found caterpillars of both species eating passion vine together.

You can usually tell them apart pretty easily since Variegated caterpillars are lined with white dots. Also, fun fact: Their spines are non-stinging and completely harmless in general.

15. Larger Elm Leaf Beetle

Super friend-shaped, and extremely lightweight (you will barely feel them on your hand). They're pretty easy to handle since they’re very docile. But they’re considered pests to certain plants, so they’re not very liked by gardeners.

16. Golden Tortoise Beetle

Also friend-shaped, but very tiny and super skittish. One really interesting thing about them is that their larvae use their own feces as a shield. So, yeah, that’s a thing that they do.

17. Imperial Moth

A close relative of the Luna Moth (they’re in the same family). They might not be the most extravagant moths, but they have a rustic charm to them, and they remind me of bananas. Also, they’re fluffy, so they’re automatically cute.

18. Pink-Striped Oakworm Moth

A much smaller relative of the Luna Moth (also in the same family). These babes are nocturnal and absolutely adorable.

19. Antlion

Despite being shaped like a damselfly, these fellas are more closely related to lacewings and mantidflies. You may recognize their name, and that’s because the most notable thing about antlions is their larvae (also called “doodlebugs”).

Y’know, these silly lil guys. The ones that make pit traps to eat their favorite food: Ants. They're funky. I love them.

20. Spring Fishfly

I just think they’re cool. They come from water.

21. Woolly Apple Aphid

Adorable, fluffy, whimsical fairy creatures. I had the pleasure of holding one once. You can’t even feel them on your finger.

22. Red Velvet Ant/ Cow Killer

Despite her name, she’s not actually an ant. She’s a type of wasp in the family Mutilidae, where females are wingless. These wasps (specifically the males) are called “cow killers” because of a myth that said their stings were so powerful, they could kill a cow. This isn’t true tho.

23. Crane Fly

They look like giant mosquitoes, but fear not! They won’t hurt you! In fact, one of their nicknames is “mosquito eater.” But they don’t actually eat mosquitoes. At least, the adults don’t. They don’t even have the proper mouthparts to do that. Instead, Crane Flies feed on nectar, which makes them minor pollinators. So while they can get everywhere once they spawn, they’re not actually that big of a problem. And they’re super frail, so please be gentle if you want to hold them🤎.

24. Two-Spotted Longhorn Bee

Absolutely adorable! They don’t visit very often, but when they do, they like to visit the sage in the garden. I usually find them frequently the same plants as the Leafcutter bees.

25. Giant Water Bug

One of the coolest dudes ever. You’ll always find them anywhere wet, but please know that they can get BIG. They won’t charge after you, but they will bite if they feel threatened, and it will hurt. I’ve encountered these funky guys before, and I just admire them from a good distance.

26. Promachus Robber Flies

Promachus is also just a genus of robber fly (I don’t know how many species live in my state tho). I just think they look cool. And they’re good for pest control 👍.

27. Common Checkered Skipper

Cute little babies that are slightly blue. I have one in my bug collection.

28. Long-Tailed Skipper

Another cute little baby. And also blue! These things are pretty common in the garden, and I’m always happy to see them.

I don't know if anyone else already had this idea but I've been thinking of snow leopard shifter reader! In her leopard form she's just bouncing off the walls(parkour style!) holding her long ass tail in her mouth(gotta make sure she doesn't loose it, or even worse, no one steps on it cuz it's so long🤭) being extremely good with steep terrains and tanking huge falls like a champ. On a mission with really cold weather? Don't fret, we got a fluffy cat on our hands to keep the pack warm! And did you see the video of those snow leopards in a sanctuary cuddling and spooning each other?! Cute! But they also are fierce hunter, doing anything they can to secure that they get food, such as yeeting themselves off of huge cliffs. They also have a really strong bite force compared to their size, being able to crush bones when they eat. A great asset, I would say.

Oh snow leopards are amazing cats. They really are. I've seen them bounce around, they're made of freaking springs

Okay but just imagine the leaping competitions - none of the guys can match her. She has been known to use Price as a springboard, and Ghost in human form. Because she can. She can scale almost anything.

Her speciality would definitely be snowy terrains. She'd be excellent at that - she'd be able to sneak in and out of almost anywhere as long as there's snow. And she'd be quite happy to cuddle the pack to keep them warm. Her tail would probably be fought over, because soft and fluffy and big.

As far as fighting goes, she would be vicious. She would definitely specialize in sneak attacks, dropping down from above or lunging from a hidden spot.

She would definitely be a great asset. But she would have to be extra careful in desert conditions. She'd overheat more easily, even as a human.

Sans: If it were possible, Sans would absolutely love to own a Red Panda. Despite their adorable faces and cuddly bodies, they actually don't like interaction with others, preferring solitude, which is something Sans could totally get behind.

Papyrus: Papyrus is a cat person all the way (as are most of the other Papyri). However, he specifically loves the Scottish Fold breed! He constantly fawns over their cute little ears and big eyes.

Underfell:

Red: Red actually isn't a huge pet person, he thinks they smell and he's not very good at taking care of himself, let alone another animal. Though, he does think about how funny it would be to own an African Grey bird and teach it a ton of swear words.

Edge: Probably the biggest cat guy out there! Doomfanger is a fan favorite for his pet, and while the breed of Doomfanger isn't necessarily canon...I see her as an all black Oriental Shorthair. Seriously, if Edge were a cat, that's what breed he'd be.

Underswap:

Blue: Blue loves dogs! His favorite breed is the Dalmatian, the signature dog of firehouses all around the country! He also loves Golden Retrievers.

Stretch: Stretch has an affinity for all things amphibious, especially frogs! He thinks they're so cute, and he'd love to own a bunch of Australian Green tree frogs some day.

Swapfell:

Indigo: He doesn't like pets at all; they smell, make messes that he'll have to clean because no one else will do it, and they cost a lot to care for properly. Though, he wouldn't mind having a Budgie or two, sitting on his shoulder as he works on paperwork.

Cash: Cash loves cats too, but he prefers the bigger cats! Lions, tigers (but not bears), and even bobcats! He really loves the snow leopard the most.

Black: A Chihuahua. No, I will not elaborate.

Rus: Rus likes snakes, specifically Ball pythons! Their little tongues are so cute~ Rus also loves spiders of any kind!

Wine: He likes dogs, with a preference to the larger breeds. He's always wanted a Dobermann Pinscher, but he dislikes the practice of cropping ears and tails.

Coffee: The second biggest cat lover, right behind Edge. His favorite breeds are the Maine Coon and the Norwegian Forest cat, both majestic floofs in their own way!

Horrortale:

Bear: Bear is a big guy, so he's a little hesitant around smaller animals, but he loves all types of rodents! His favorites are Dumbo rats (those ears though!!!) and Capybaras.

Sugar: Despite being a cat guy, he can't handle the amount of hair they shed due to his allergies, but he likes the Sphynx breed! Sugar would make them little sweaters and hats to keep them warm.

So Eiden's guardian is as I already stated before the snow leopard and is sort of combination of these - the hair too has snow leopard spots so naturally its not brown! You'll notice things like ears and the tail but also just slightly furred up hands and arms not quite reaching shoulder with claws - they're still more human like that paw-ish tho

Starscream but also not Starscream. Spiny tiny lizards. Cats that are by no means graceful. The little cute motherfucker dinosaurs. I feel like a transformer based on the bombardier beetle would be so traumatizing. Hydras. All the mythical creatures that aren't dragons or griffins. Forms that you just don't see on earth. Remember how AoE Galvatron transformed in that flowey manner? More of that.

H’aanit, the Hunter: Chapter 2

WARNING! Spoilers ahead for Chapter 2 of H’aanit’s story in Octopath Traveler!

Why are all of these Chapter 2 stories so dark?! Even Tressa’s showed the scary reality of monopolies!

We made it to Stonegard, searching for any sign of Z’aanta we could get. Hägen leading us, we found...we found out things.

Stonegard...lives up to it’s name. Lots of rocks. Everything is rocks. I get the point is that everything is carved out of rock, but the gray monochromatic color scheme is kind of dreary. The foggy lighting doesn’t help either. Sure there’s a lot, but a little paint in a few places could have helped. 

I really like the emphasis this chapter puts on H’aanit’s relationship with Z’aanta. It’s clear the two care about each other, even if he annoys her at times. And I can understand, man needs to get his vices under control. But the fact that he spends his time away from her talking about her shows how devoted he really is. It’s a sweet, relatable relationship. Which makes the end of this chapter all the worse.

Natalia was cool. It’s nice to learn about some of Z’aanta's life outside of the village. And I give credit to a widow in medieval times just trying to live her life and trying to deal with being harassed (But what is with all the entitled rich people? I’m starting to see a pattern). Also, it was nice she let a direwolf and a snow leopard hang out in her house.

I know we have British accents in this game for some people, but now we’re throwing in southern American ones? Just where is Orsterra based off of, medieval Europe or colonial America?

Spectrewood is a scary forest just like out set out to be. Dark, foggy, could easily be used in a production The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Pretty standard. Until you meet the inhabitants.

The Lord of the Forest...is objectively terrifying. Seriously, look at a picture of it, it is scary. The worst part is it’s scary in the way only nature can be: fearsome but accepted as the way it goes and somehow beautiful. The majesty of a wooden stag is offput by the way the branches trail off to look like it’s flowing, like it’s a ghost. Also it EATS the monsters it summons! Ugghhh....

That’s not the dark part, though.

We find Z’aanta.

And he’s been turned to stone.

All this time, I just thought he was going to be dead. But, that glimmer of hope of turning him back...kind of makes it worse.

With how dark these chapters are getting, there’s a chance whatever Susanna advises won’t work. If she does have a solution.

More than dark, this chapter is just...sad.

H’aanit finds her father figure, and she can’t even reunite with him.

And the monster that did this is still out there. And I do not feel strongly about the Knights Ardante’s chances.

As for the other travelers...

Cyrus: Knowledge! And it’s about wolf facts! I want to hear his lecture...

Primrose: Okay, Prim; not all men are jerks. And you can’t just divide them into groups, people are complex. The guys in the party are pretty alright. H’aanit, you’re fine, she’s just had bad experiences.

Tressa: Aww, cute childhood anecdote. Write your parents, Tressa! You’re lucky enough to have parents, most of your companions don’t! But yeah, parents can get...creative with punishments. Hope she didn’t have a dentist appointment after that.

Therion: Listen to Therion, cut Z’aanta some slack! Let him have a break, he works hard! ...Just limit his spendings.

Olberic: ...She needed that. And Olberic’s right, your true character often only comes out in dire situations. At least Z’aanta gave them a direction to start at. I hope they get to talk one day.

Ophilia: Aww, they bonded! You’re both beautiful girls, and I’m sure Eliza would agree! 

Alfyn: Alfyn is too good for this world. Best support.

Well, our only chance is in Stillsnow.

I love the implications that mirai is the one who behaves more cat-like even though in chapter 7, he thought of gojo as a cat. Like napping at any possible hour, going through things that catch their eyes and fix their attention on it—sort of like a cat liking a simple old cardbox than the bed that costs $$$ which were bought specifically for them and is ignored, their aloofness reminds me of a cat which have some things dangled frantically right in front of its face but it is just flickling its tail, closing their eyes and its just….loafing

ON THAT NOTE, i cant wait until mirai realize later on about gojo something that goes like “thats no house cat…..how can i thought of him as a house cat….HES A DAMNED WILD/ BIG CAT (a snow leopard as an example)….ohhhhhh i fucked up” maybe when he progressively become more possessive or territorial of mirai HAH

though gojo would still act like a cute little housecat following mirai at their heels, rubbing and meowing for mirai’s attention. and in their, ahem, private moments, mirai’s in for a rough time i guess 😚

Tbh I love how much you guys pick up on the nuances of their actions and bring it more to life in these asks, it makes me so happy istg

Poor Mirai indeed, I’m also really looking forward to their dynamics once we find ourselves dealing with a (1) bigger Gojou Satoru

Vivianne or Via as she preferred wasn't as anxious as her clouded leopard younger brother Shotaro. No Via is not a hybrid. Her parents adopted Shotaro as a pet originally when he was only 2. But, the 4 year old Via decided Shotaro was her new baby brother causing her parents to legally adopt him as their son. Learning this her aunt finally told them she adopted a calico hybrid as her son when he was 1 and he's the same age as Shotaro. They became very close and were disappointed when Felix was shipped off to another school where he found a pack and mate. Via refused to follow after Felix until Shotaro was old enough to go with her. Their parents bought them a cute little house about 15 minutes from their new school. Shotaro was slightly shaking when they headed towards their lockers as Via put her hand in his giving him a reassuring squeeze. Before they knew it they heard four different voices screaming, "VIA! TARO!" then they were tackled to the ground. When they were finally let go and realized who attacked them they grinned giggling. "Hi, Pixie. Nice to finally meet you guys." Via giggled. "Hi." Shotaro smiled shyly. They heard growls. She turned towards the noise and saw the pack Alphas. She grinned walking up to them. "No need to be so territorial, Alphas. Felix is my cousin. My Aunt Natalia adopted him when he was 1. The clouded leopard is my little brother Shotaro. He was originally adopted by my parents for me as a pet but 4 year old me declared Shotaro my baby brother instead. My name is Vivianne but I go by Via. I'm a junior and Shotaro is a sophomore like Felix." They looked a little embarrassed. When she recognized Changbin she gave him a huge hug much to everyone's surprise. "Welcome to the family So Changbin! Yes I know what you look like Felix was gushing about how hot his boyfriend is."
