I've been rattling around my own version of pre/earlyklok so here's what I've got so far:

Pickles has been chewed up and spat out by the industry after SnB, in ruin after faulty contracts made when he was too young to know what he was getting into. He's also extremely burned by not getting the residuals that he should have when he fucking made SnB what it was, and he's a struggling addict.

I don't know yet what all Magnus' deal is, but he never even made it that far and time is not on his side as far as the industry is concerned. So you've got a has-been and a would-be rock star meeting through the guy who would be Dethklok's first manager who think that hey, they could get something going here.

So you've got two guitarists, and maybe at some local joint, they hear a cover band, and holy shit this kid's got pipes. They approach Nathan and everyone gets drinks and he shares that he's always wanted a band (and deep down he knows that he has to have it), so fuck it, they're gonna make a band. And William's there too, I guess, because he's Nathan's buddy somehow, and they don't wanna waste energy on finding a bassist.

So they've got the start of a good thing but it's not quite there yet. None of the drummers they try have the right sound so finally Pickles is just like "fuck it, I'll do it" because he's had to do Sammy's parts so many times already, and... oh, hey, why the fuck is he bothering with the guitar again? This is where he belongs.

So now they gotta find another guitarist, and finding Skwisgaar is akin to finding a temple to a forgotten god. It's a crime that someone so talented should be regulated to rhythm guitar, but Pickles' last bit of money is fueling this, and Magnus has to have his way, so that's just how it goes.

And turns out Magnus' manager buddy who manages Skwisgaar seems a hell of a lot more competent than their current guy, so they got a new manager now. And it's rough, but it works. For a while.

Pickles runs himself ragged after Magnus is kicked out because it's all on him, this is his last shot and they've gotta make this work. And they give this scrawny kid from Norway a chance and he has Skwisgaar's approval, and then... everything starts to fall together.

Their growing fans become fanatic. People flock to them for work that borders on servitude, and money starts flowing in, and maybe now Pickles can relax a bit. Sure, the drugs may still kill him, but things are better now. He doesn't have to fight and scrape for what's rightfully his. He actually owns Dethklok this time along with the others, and life is... as good as it's gonna get.

And during all this, Nathan grows more confident in seeing his dream come true. No one knows when the shift happens, but he stops playing mediator and starts demanding things go this way and that way. Because it's his band.

And Pickles just lets him take over because sure, it's actually their band, but he's tired, man. He's just so tired of having to do things himself.

The rise of Dethklok happens over the span of 10-12 years, anywhere from 1994 to 2006. Snakes 'N' Barrels only lasted about 4-5 years and Pickles spent a handful of years remaking himself between gigs. Nathan and Murderface graduated high school in the late 80s/early 90s, and Toki is in his late 20s by the time the show starts.

It doesn't mean I like them less, it just means she (And I, lol) am more focused on Charles as the band's manager than the rest of the guys! And sure!

Sammy was a surfer in SoCal before he joined up with the band. He's a little dumb, but he's very sweet. He's golden retriever coded! He dropped out of high school to work at a crab shack on the Santa Monica Pier, but he quickly quit and took to just drumming around on buckets and such for cash.

Tony's from Seattle originally, and he went to LA to become a tattoo artist. He wasn't good enough, though, sadly, so he pressed on to Santa Monica, looking for a place that'd accept him. He had a day off from his tattoo apprenticeship when he met Sammy, and they headed to a bar together.

Snazz, who was recently divorced and kinda wallowing in his own funk, was serving at said bar, and the three of them got to talking. Snazz had given up his musical dreams when his girlfriend got pregnant, and here were two other guys with similar dreams! Of course they hit it off immediately!

They met Ceelie, then Pickles, and the rest is history!

Vex has always liked rock music, he likes anything that sounds grungy/rough/loud.

27. Loves children

This was a tough one because I have a LOT of family-oriented OCs, but I decided to make it easier on myself by also asking myself “who is THE ABSOLUTE BEST with kids” and that left me with Snazz. XD Other OCs such as Khallalh who are family-oriented and love kids may fall short in being able to entertain them, but Snazz is a (literal) wizard at it. He looks forward to having his own kids one day that he can raise and entertain. ^-^

32. Likes socks

This was tricky too since I feel a majority of my OCs either hate socks or don’t feel particularly passionate about them. Sydd however...she seems like the type to have a random obsession with a particular thing. Socks could be that thing. She would probably have too many she refuses to toss, probably enjoys finding new ones with different designs, and probably wears specific socks on specific days or events.

Niigo fight for their lives learning how Adobe After Effect works to make their MVs. When push comes to shove, they would just commission Mizuki.

They actually tried to ask Mizuki to join them but they were like "um, sorry, no, I already have 2 part-time jobs...."

Tsukasa has a full powerpoint presentation of how tying one's shoe is not an essential skill and it's not my fault slippers exist stop bringing it up Enanan.

Nene roped Ena into video games and the latter became very competitive.

Nene is very popular as an utaite, so naturally Niigo got a lot more attention after she joined them. Though she doesn't really like how some comments say Niigo is riding off her coattail. Something something event content.

Nene and Ena can have a story arc too. Like Nene has genuine talent when it comes to singing and yet she refuses to put herself out there. She's so adamant about not achieving what she wants as opposed to Ena who tries her damnest and is still nowhere close to getting the validation she wants (the validation she deserves tbh, i would validate the hell out of her don't be sad :( ). Something something event content number 2.

Tsukasa started out fucking terrified of Mafuyu.

Kanade is still very much focused on "trying to make a song that can save someone" since in the AU she doesn't really have a specific target. The other three are like "yes we're rooting for you Kanade, we're rooting for you", but they're still pretty much lost on what exactly Niigo's purpose is.

They should probably open up about how they were all touched by Kanade's music one way or another just saying.

Mafuyu and Rui do genuinely respect each other. But for whatever reason, they can't communicate very well which leads to conflicts. The atmosphere gets incredibly heavy when they're alone together.

Mizuki and Emu are an incredible tag team, they keep Mafuyu and Rui alive.

Mizuki is in charge of making costumes and props, along with assisting Rui with "making sure whatever he puts on stage isn't aesthetically horrendous". They mainly stay backstage though.

Emu really wants to see Mizuki on stage with the rest of wxs one day but they claim they "aren't ready yet".

The Wonderland SEKAI has an aquarium. A really pretty one.

Mafuyu wishes to find herself through acting, more specifically a role that can help her remember the true self she lost.

Mafuyu has range.

Emumafu commit trespassing every other week. They monopolise the Kamiyama High's rooftop because "the open space makes it way easier to test out our stunts!!" (Tsukasa struggle tweet)

Mafuyu would try to cut down on cram school so she can have more time to practice with her troupe, thus starting her rebellion arc.

Emu and Mafuyu would wonderhoi back and forth for up to 10 minutes because Mafuyu's wonderhois never sound quite right to Emu.

some of my miscellaneous magnus headcanons:

magnus is primarily chilean and armenian, with aymara heritage

his mother, ester, is second generation and was raised in the LA area. she’s chilean with aymara roots on her mother’s side. his father, serouj, is from armenia

he grew up feeling generally closer to his latino heritage, and closer to his mother. he only speaks a little spanish, but enough that it’s messily passable. he didn’t speak it a lot at home— ester mostly spoke english, since serouj could only really understand that & became frustrated when he felt “left out.”

he hates his father. serouj has untreated narcissistic personality disorder, which often lead to clashes and difficulty with his home life.

ester passed away in the mid-late 90s, after being sick for a long time. it hit him pretty hard

is a little brother. he has two older sisters who do their best to pretend he doesn’t exist. often felt like an only child.

he became especially interested in music as a teenager, and at one point had a band called twisted daisy.

definitely a record collector, listens to a little bit of everything. really enjoyed black sabbath, it sort of started him on the road to metal

hasn’t gotten to visit chile. once visited armenia as a very little boy, ended up overheating and passed out because he doesn’t sweat like a normal person

a decent cook. a vegetarian through his 20s to his late 30s.

used to be a touring member of SnB, standing in for snazz when he was too indisposed to perform or in rehab. pickles was his way in to dethklok

Introduction Post!

Hey everybody! So I decided that I'd settle down and properly do an introduction post. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while but just haven't gotten around to doing it. Now that there's quite a few of you guys (many that I'm now personally friends with!) I decided it's about time that you get to know me a bit. If you'd like to know more about me read below the cut!

This is my cutie 'mascot' I guess you could call it. Sona? I don't really know. She's a mixture of those plague doctors designs and a shy guy from mario! I've had her for years with no real use until now. I'm just happy that she has a purpose now!

(I had a picture with her color palette but I lost it. Whoops. She's basically just got a white mask and her robes are dark purple if anybody was curious. My babe is also super tiny. Half of Sans' height if I had to put it to a scale that everyone here would understand. Idk I just like knowing dumb details like that about mascots/sonas.)

To be honest the main thing that encouraged me to actually do this post is when I was asked for a face reveal and I realized hey uh,,,I'm highly uncomfortable doing that?? So here's my little gal that'll take my place where my face should be!  Hope that doesn't disappoint anybody too badly lmao.

For the matching headcanon meme thing... St. Cecilia is a plant mom, and her favorite plant is a little devil's tongue cactus that she's had since 1980! It lived in the cupholder in Snazz's van while SnB was getting their start and now it lives in her kitchen on top of the microwave! (Gointothevvater 🖤)

For those who don't know what Frost looks like, this is them! (Will post their form on here once it's done!)

HCs:

It's a tradition that they and their friends' made up back where they were born (Noctis) where that when it's someone's birthday, the rest of the group has to chase that person down and toss them into the lake. It all started when Frost accidentally pushed one of their friends in the lake on their birthday before they got pushed in by a few of their other friends.

They have ingested their own venom a few times intently to make themself sick so that they could come up with a reason why they couldn't do something.

Frost, having had been in a theater kid in the past, strongly believes in the Macbeth curse, and to this day, it still freaks them out a bit.

Frost doesn't like the color of their scales. They want them to be a different color other than some aqua blue. Maybe black or a different shade of orange.

They have gotten into a snowball fight with Phil and Technoblade a few times. Out of all of those times except once,they lost. That was because it was two people against one.

Frost still holds that one victory up with pride, however.

They learned how to bake a few things with Niki when hung out together. Ranboo was baking with them too!

Frost has taken the other members of the Syndicate - their friends - stargazing one time together on the mountain. It was a very peaceful night.

During Technoblade's time in prison, Frost didn't/doesn't know where he was/is. This made/makes them worry about their friend's safety, even if they know that "Technoblade Never Dies"

Whenever they find out, they will be more than willing to help break Techno out of the prison.

Frost likes to hang out with the hound army. They're a touch starved snek, so puppy cuddles and snuggles make them feel vv happy.

They also really like Steve the Polar Bear. They think he's really cool and vv cute.

Frost absolutely despises Strawberry Milk.

Their last words (to someone they'd hate/dislike) would be "I'll see you in hell."

Frost has called Phil "Dad" accidentally numerous times. Cuz their dad sucked.

They called Techno that a few times accidentally too-

Their favorite flowers are Forget-Me-Nots!

Frost is a B I G cheater when it comes to Hide and Seek. They use EnderPearls to teleport away. OR They hide in one spot, then run away to hide in another one.

Gonna talk about swimy and Snazz’s ocs!

Tsubaki: I think she has real bad panic attacks. I don’t know if swimy confirmed something like that in the past or not because memory is garbage, but considering what happened when she was a student, I think it would make sense if she had night terrors or panic attacks.

I honestly think that Tsubaki feels bad for leaving Wakana the way she did, but felt like she had no other choice. Wakana comes off as kind of an airhead so I think she would worry Wakana wouldn’t understand. Not to mention she probably couldn’t tell her even if she wanted to.

Katsumi: I think she talks to deku a lot(highkey dekusquad vibes from her since she likes tsu), not just because he’s the main character obviously, but because canonically he’s just really nice and easy to talk to. I feel like she would feel really comfortable around him because she’s seen firsthand that he can be a panicked mess too.

I think she probably would be easy for Spectre to possess unfortunately, meaning that if Spectre needed to get into the school she could probably choose Katsumi as her best bet.

Naoka: straight up I think she wants to befriend other heroes but isn’t sure how to go about it?

I feel like she would like animals and go out of her way to save them if one needed help??? Honestly naoka seems like she’d be nice in general djfjsjdffjsf

This is a weird one but I feel like naoka comes across as someone with weird allergies. Like she’s allergic to things people wouldn’t normally be. Don’t ask me to elaborate cuz I wouldn’t know where to start she just got that vibe.

Now if @holyfandomsnazz or @swimyghost have any headcanons about Spectre and decibel I wanna see them

Bakugou loving musicals? Like que puts his headphones on and he is listening to a play list of some musical (idk like: Headters, Beatle juice, what you want) and he knows every single one of the by heart. 1A belives he doesn't like "normal" music, and that he only listen to rock, and then one they... PUM! Bakubabe singing some shit from a musical (Say my name is my idea, but you can put whatever). This plus a Bakubowl. Idk, just an idea. I like how you write, btw, i think you are awsome

Ignoring movie musicals, I’ve seen three: Hamilton, Heathers, and Legally Blonde

This is just me projecting, but I can see him loving those (among others of course). The sass of Elle Woods, the snark of the Heathers, the general snazz of the main cast of Hamilton? *chef’s kiss*

AND YES I LOVE IT when the class doesn’t know something about Bakugou and he proceeds to surprise them! It’s perfection.

For the song he’s caught singing, Say My Name is PERFECT. I think he’d like Candy Store from Heathers, too, but YES I WANT HIM TO SING SAY MY NAME.

Something I LOVE to think about is Bakugou likes to sing and play songs with Jirou and he practices dancing with Mina a lot.

They would have the perfect jam session and song writing moments, and Bakugou and Mina would create choreo and learn dances and I spend an unhealthy amount of time thinking about it.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! ♡♡♡

To be honest I was completely stuck on which couple I was going to draw. I settled on SnazzySloth for the simple fact that it's Sloth’s birthday as well so I decided to draw them. It's funny the inspiration for this drawing was literally looking at dating sites and seeing ideas. I saw painting was one, so what if they painted each other? That's kind of how I thought of the idea ahah. Sloth’s painting a heart on Snazz. 

Oh yeah the background was completely blank so I made it like they were meant to be painting a wall but ended up drawing all over it and writing notes to each other. Sloth writes in orange, and Snazz was meant to be writing in purple. There's a lot of stuff there, so look closely! 

The love letters that were submitted through asks for each other I used in the background as well! 

Overall this was a lot of fun to do. It was hard to wait till today to post this to be honest.
