What movie or TV show most accurately portrays yandere?

for tv shows i have no idea but here's an old doc detailing the movies ive seen that include yan traits in a character and/or have storylines that are reminiscent of yan behaviors. no idea if I remember writing the summaries myself from compiling multiple ones or pulled them straight from their wikis, but the personal thoughts section are def all me, lol.

Buck goes over to Tommy's place late one morning, coffees in hand. They agreed to go out today, maybe go for a walk in a nearby park or something, no solid plans for the day other than spending it together.

When Buck gets there, though, he feels something is wrong. The curtains are closed, for one thing. And when Buck knocks, he doesn't hear any immediate movement towards the door. Usually, Tommy opens the door before Buck even makes it up the drive.

But today, Buck knocks, and he waits.

Had Tommy gotten held late at work? Buck knows he had a shift that was supposed to end a few hours before, but maybe he got stuck with overtime and didn't have a chance to call or text. But his car is there, in the same place it always is, and there hasn't been anything on the news about any major disasters.

Buck knocks again and considers calling or texting when he finally hears shuffling on the other side of the door, then the jingle of keys before the door opens.

Tommy is... A mess, honestly.

His hair is sticking up in every direction, old sweatpants with a hole at the knee, and a worn out old hoodie which Tommy shoves his hands back into the pockets of when he sees Buck.

"Hey, Evan." He swallows, voice think with some heavy emotion. "I'm so sorry, I... I forgot we had plans today, I—" he's hunched into himself, and he looks smaller than Buck's ever seen him.

"Tommy," Buck reaches for him with the hand that isn't holding the coffee cups. "What happened? Are you okay?"

Tommy shrugs, hesitating before stepping aside to let Buck in. "Rough shift," he says after an extended silence. "Everyone... The team all made it out, but... We lost someone. I lost someone."

Buck sets the coffee cups down on the entrance table and pulls Tommy into a hug, tucking his head into his shoulder and holding him tight. Slowly, Tommy's hands raise enough to wrap around Buck's waist.

"I don't think I'm gonna be much company today," Tommy sniffs after a while. Buck can feel a wet patch on his shoulder, but doesn't mention it.

The fact that Tommy trusts him enough to be this vulnerable with feels like something sacred, something he's been searching desperately for. Up to now, Tommy has been the one adjusting to make space for what Buck needs, but it's time for Buck to step up, to be there for Tommy.

"I get it, but I'm here." Buck kisses Tommy's cheekbone, just below his eye and he tastes the salty tang of tears there. "If you'd rather be alone, I-I get it. I can go home, and we can reschedule this. But, Tommy, I don't care if all we do is sit on your couch in the dark, okay? Whatever you need, I'm here."

Tommy holds Buck tighter for a moment.

"Evan," he says, in the same way he always says it. Like it's a something precious and delicate and wonderful. Buck's not sure where it came from, but he adores it.

"What do you usually do after a bad shift?' Buck asks.

Tommy sniffs, and it takes a while to answer. "Usually..." He clears his throat. "Usually I curl up in bed or on the couch and watch a rom-com. I know, it's a little—"

"Don't you dare say it's embarrassing," Buck warns, cupping Tommy's jaw and running his thumb over the stubble there. "Go make yourself comfortable, drink your coffee, pick a movie. I'll make us some snacks and join you in a minute, okay?"

Half an hour later, Buck settles on the couch—the coffee table full of popcorn, chopped vegetables and dips to snack on.

Buck reclines against the arm, and pulls Tommy on top of him, head on his chest. It's a tight fit, but from the way Tommy settles into him, Buck knows it's what he needs.

Tommy hits play, and Buck smiles at the opening monologue. "Love Actually?" He asks.

Tommy makes a sound, a soft sort of hum. "It's... kind of my favourite," he admits.

Buck smiles and kisses the top of Tommy's head, then replaces his lips with his fingers, running them over Tommy's scalp.

"That's really cute."

Tommy nestles in closer to Buck's chest, and neither of them say anything else for a while.

"Thanks," Tommy says, when they're about halfway through the movie. "For staying."

Buck kisses his head again, and Tommy lifts himself up a little so he can turn and kiss Buck on the lips, instead before settling back against his chest.

"Thank you, for letting me stay. For letting me look after you."

The words are on the tip of his tongue as he looks down and watches Tommy turn his attention back to the movie, watches him mouth along to a handful of lines.

I love him, he thinks. He doesn't say it out loud, not yet, but the realisation is soft, and warming, and perfect. And he will say it, soon. When the time is right. And he hopes Tommy will say it back.

For now though, Tommy is like a weighted blanket on his chest, comforting and warm, and Buck's content to just stay here for as long as he can.

They'll put on another movie, finish the snacks, maybe order takeout for dinner later, and Tommy will smile again, will laugh again, will kiss Buck the same way he says his name.

I like to think that Percy goes out of his way to give multiple tours of the castle to first year's during the first couple months. It can be difficult to navigate with the moving staircases.

the goldfinch is so fascinating to me because everything in it is about grief, with his sexuality as a subsection, another core tenant, that centers around (as i believe) the fact that he can't tell his mother about it. and the painting is grief and love itself! the painting represents that moment before his mother died, and he literally put it away and took it out only for boris while blackout drunk, that chunk of his heart, the source of all his pain, and boris thought i want that enough to take it. also the goldfinch is about drugs and a small dog.

Okay I know I just posted about the show crit but I was being very very cautious about my words and over explaining to try to make it nicer and seem like I’m not complaining. But I realized I’m turning a new leaf and not being a ppl pleaser this year. That being said:

I am complaining. Uncle Rick is a hypocrite. And where we were promised fun, whimsy, action packed adventure we got a glorified talk show podcast on the gods and lots of walking around.

Since you mostly draw TFA, idk about you but when I started watching TFA I never expected this wet cat college student version of Optimus to become my favourite Optimus. I just think he's a really cool interpretation of the character and I wish he was my dad tbh

SAME HES MY FAVORITE <3333 i grew up watching tfa but admittedly barely remembered any of it except for bee megatron prowl and blackarachnia b/c those were the ones i had toys of, i still have blackarachnia.. sadly the rest were lost in the Incident.......... i like tfa optimus a lot in part b/c how he contrasts w other versions of him (if ur wondering the other series ive seen is most of g1, beast wars, cyberverse, the bumblebee movie, earthspark and big chunks of tfp from when my dad was watching a couple years ago). i'd decided to watch tfa on a nostalgia fueled whim and went Whoa this is fucking Goord and well. now i have a nendoroid optimus prime and i've got legacy override and twitch on the way. but back to tfa op hes very fun to contrast w other versions bc hes just SO different. and hes like the last version of optimus that had a real personality ^_^ but the biggest thing i like abt tfa op is that hes just some fucking guy. he gets angry. he yells at people. the writers werent afraid of making him fall flat on his face. hes impulsive. hes a little crazy. hes a total bitch. hes petty. he has two of the worst exes possible. he talks stiff and formally around humans other than the sumdacs and i think its really cute. he told sentinel to shove it up his ass. when he gets really mad his fucking engine revs. hes perfect. he sucks. hes done nothing wrong. he is a chronic fuck up. hes a little bootlicker. he has a hero complex while also thinking of himself as a total loser. he died for 75 seconds once.

almost 4am can't stop thinking about the meaning of the idiom 'to have blood on [someone's] hands'—to be responsible for a person's death—combined with the fact that Zach is the one we are specifically shown with Daryl's actual blood on his hands (once for real and once in a dream)... Not Josh who had been holding the sword Daryl fell onto, but Zach who took the sword out.

#super dark times #+ part of it that's insane to me is: Josh COULD have easily ALSO gotten (literal) blood on his hands—we see him go to check for a pulse #after Zach did... but we don't see his hands during that—they're left out of the shot! we just see his face. and when we see his hands next #there's no visible blood on them (if any got on he theoretically wiped 'em off ig? similarly Zach's hands when seen AFTER the shot of him #touching Daryl ALSO don't rlly show blood anymore—we see his hands in the leaves tho so it prob went there) BUT SO there was a CHOICE made #to give us a close up shot of ZACH pulling his hand away from the wound with blood on it... but to NOT do the same/smthn similar with Josh. #and yet ZACH is the one who CAN'T ACCEPT THE ROLE HE PLAYED IN ANY OF ITTTTT!!!!!!! Sonic characters on a road trip headcannons! ☆

Going on a road trip with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, shadow, Sliver, rouge, Blaze, and Amy - Genre: fluff, crack fic - gn!reader - modern au

this is going to be the worst car trip of your life sorry reader.

First of all, most of the people on this trip are so irresponsible, like I would rely on Tails and Sliver for actually getting food. Even then tails is googling to make sure he gets the right food because “everybody needs to eat a healthy diet” and sliver ignoring that completely trying to buy a year supply of candy from target WHILE USING YOUR CREDIT CARD. At least he has coupons.  💀 💀

You guys probably won’t even get 10 minutes away without Sonic trying to do some crazy bet. He’s trying to start beef with Shadow in the car because he thinks he can win. In his defense he says “I didn’t know he was so competitive!” The only reason he did it because he believed he would win so it would boost his ego. I hope you can drive well.

Let’s just imagine you have those camper vans you’re taking to wherever in the would you guys are going. I would imagine you stop at a pit stop to fill up on gas and eat some food etc. You might just go in the back and see Rouge, Blaze, and Amy having a whole spa day in the back. They’re just hanging out painting each other nails and talking about some new gossip around town. 

Even though its quite insane to have a spa in your camper van it’s more peaceful their than the other part. It’s going to look like a whole super bowl party in the back. Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Sliver are having the most intense uno game you’ll ever see. In the end Knuckles breaks the table, Sonic and Shadow are about to get in a full on fist fight and Sliver is trying to get away from the crime scene with Tails. Sorry for getting left out reader  😭

It gets worse though, somebody let sonic cook in the kitchen AND HE DIDNT FULLY COOK ANY OF YOUR FOOD. So now everybody panicking because you’re just sprawled out on the floor feeling horrible. Yes they are panicking about you having food poisoning but also because they got nobody to drive them to wherever you guys decided to go. You recover days later, but not without banning sonic from a kitchen for life.

Maybe you should of just taken a plane.  💀

I just thought of this idea..

So, sonic wachowski tells Shadow and silver Whipple about their alternative counterparts, and the next time Modern sonic and shadow visit, wachowski convinces them to take the Whipples with them to the Boom world, and they meet the boom counterparts.

And somehow Boom shadow for some reason finds Shadow Whipple and thinks that it’s probably one of Eggman’s robots trying to dublicate him, or one of the Fox’s inventions.

Either way he doesn’t like it, so he grabs Whipple’s arm and teleport him to a far place and attacks him.

Shadow whipple already having chaos energy in him (duh) is able to defend himself and fight back. But he’s still young and Boom has more experience.

In the middle of the fight, Modern Shadow who got worried and went to find the kid when he realized he was missing, comes in and beats Boom because not only he has experience too he uses chaos energy.

After the fight and boom promising to meet them again on his terms, Modern heals Whipple with the Chaos Emrald he has and chaos controls them back to Boom Team Sonic, Modern, and wachowski (as well as Silver Whipple).

Then something clicks to Shadow Whipple and he started to question..

Why didn’t he feel chaos energy from that shadow, and he felt it running in this Shadow?

He knows he and Modern shadow have kinda the same backstory as far as he knows..

And chaos energy is related to it.

But what does this mean to the other shadow??

Just something I thought of, i tried to make Boom shadow the same as in the game and show but idk if this is accurate enough.
