#my art #minecraft #minecraft fanart #minecraft ancient cities #they named it the warden because they were its prisoners i will die on this hill #see fellas when i said i was brainrotting about ancient cities i meant like advanced stages of decay #Bad Syndrome: instead of a brain there is sculk #i'm still pondering additional designs for like guards/soldiers and redstone specialists etc #also yeah i was like ok time to design generic ancient city residents for outfit concepts #and bc i'm me they immediately became Characters and now it's a whole thing #their names are echo and felix and they hate each other <3 #echo was actually a temple kid like felix growing up but he fled to the outer city due to irreconcilable differences w the sculk worshippers #felix keeps trying to convince him to come back bc he was one of their most talented alchemists #they don't quite have echo's talent for magic but they make up for it in charisma and violent tendencies #neither of which have yet proved effective in convincing echo to come work for them #these days he mostly dedicates his potion skills to making life a bit more bearable for outer city residents #he got the nickname 'echo' due to his knack for inducing realistic auditory hallucinations of dead loved ones #...i TOLD you it turned into a whole thing #i also have a pet theory that ancient cities invented skeleton horses bc they needed horses but also leather and meat #but that's mostly bc i think the phrase 'have your horse and eat it too' is rly funny

another  lil  hc!           whilst  I  do  like  all  depiction  of  Kabukimono  (  canonic  &&  fandom  ) ,    I  think  rendering  him  as  not  knowing  how  to  do  anything ,  how  the  world  of  humans  work  at  all ,  or  making  him  beyond  clueless  is  a  bit  too  popular .      I  much  prefer  him  to  had  been  trained   by  Ei ,  lectured  about  the  art  of  performance  such  as  kenbushido . . .    he  canonically  has  memories  with  Ei  &&  Yae ,  even  wears  reisō  (  white  attire  for  shintō  purification  rituals  )  signifying  his  affiliation  with  the  Grand  Narukami  Shrine .        he  had  the  entire  Shakkei  Pavillion  to  himself  with  all  the  equipment  inside ,  with  no  servants  nor  guards  so  he  was  most  likely  awaiting  the  day  his  mothers  would  return .        I  firmly  believe  he  was  preparing  each  day  to  properly  greet  them,  which  also  requires  basic  skills .

#this is from right after the russian attack on the mujahedeen camp #it's such a very important scene and i love that these movies take time to show the result of destruction and peoples' reactions to it #these aren't just action movies or war movies they are like. films. and i am deeply in love with them. i don't think there's a better way #to talk about these things from this perspective. #but what was i saying - oh yes #he and the mujahedeen and the russian defector yuri were barely able to destroy one helicopter. the other one retreated. #he was caught off guard because for one moment he thought he could think of lighter things. grim reminder that he can't let himself forget #for a second where he is and why. the destruction is made more extreme by just how little these people (soldiers and children and refugees) #have in the first place...clinging on like a desert plant. deep roots and tough exterior make for a strong rebel force... #but no plant can survive firebombing. or napalm for that matter. because that's the other half of this. #again he's reminded of everyone he lost. the last time he worked alongside soldiers he could trust was in vietnam with baker team #and they're all gone now. and these people who have offered to help him do so as much out of good will as out of pure desperation for some #way to survive and come out victorious...not for the sake of victory or the honor of independence but just to prevent the slaughter of #their own people. #i keep getting off track because of the plight of the mujahedeen and the afghan people at this time #john was barely able to prevent the russians from destroying the entire camp right there. he can't save everyone and he knows that. but it #still weighs on him. still haunts him. he knows that he's lucky to get out of combat alive himself. he knows that as important a role skill #plays it is still ultimately all up to luck. #he's tired. it never ends. dragged back into the same situation in another country. he'll risk his life for trautman without question #because it doesn't mean all that much to him. but he won't risk anyone else's if he can help it. #rambo iii (1988) #rambo iii #john rambo #sylvester stallone #rambo #it's a long road #i was so worried i'd run out of tags... #action

The universe fucking hates me

#having a bad day #one of my partners graduated today and my sister graduated today and yeaterday I officially decided to give up on university #which is the right choice for me and I am genuinely happy for my partner and my sister but it still feels like a bit of a kick in the teeth #plus I just woke up from a dream that very cruelly reminded me that I'm no longer a part of the extracurriculars that made me happy #(and that I've probably lost all my guard skills) #which is also depressing #my sister's wedding is in less than a month and that's its own can of worms but also another life event I just won't have #(not that I want to get married ever but still( #I'm incredibly anxious about finding my own place to live this summer and then finding a way to support myself #because I've also never had a job before and I don't know if I even CAN have a job because of my stupid fucking brain #and I'm trying so hard to not be bitter about other people's success and abilities but it fucking sucks to feel like this #like I'm gonna be a burden on everyone I care about & society for the rest of my life and also not be able to do things that make me happy #and I know these are Mentally Ill thoughts to have but they're also not exactly wrong and I'm just so tired of this shit in my brain #personal
