Whenever a shell washes ashore, hermit crabs of varying sizes who are also looking for a new home will gather. They measure each other up and arrange themselves into an orderly queue with the biggest at the front and the smallest at the back. When everything is ready each crab hurriedly moves into the shell vacated by the crab in front of it. lucifer and charlie both sleep splayed out on their beds. limbs everywhere, they look like starfish, they move around a lot, they probably regularly wake up having fallen on the floor. lucifer talks in his sleep. charlie doesn’t talk, but she giggles a lot

vaggie sleeps on her side and does not move at all, completely silent, she can fall asleep immediately after laying down (smth smth military habits idk)

angel drapes himself across things, usually sleeps on his back, probably hugs a pillow with his arms and/or legs. he sleepwalks but usually it just consists of getting a snack from the kitchen and then flopping back down on the couch

husk can and will fall asleep anywhere. snores like a dad. doesn’t sleep-talk, but he sleep-meows. alastor has an audio recording of husk purring and chirping after passing out on the bar

niffty only ever sleeps when alastor sleeps (or when she passes out, whichever comes first). flops around a lot, kicks her feet, chews on things, eats the pillows and alastor’s hair, etc. she is as much of a tornado asleep as awake

alastor sleeps as little as physically possible. no one but rosie, niffty, and maybe husk can tell when he’s tired. waits until he’s bone weary and then shadows up to his room and faceplants into his bed. he always ends up in some kind of insane exorcism position, like with his ankle on his neck n shit. he smiles in his sleep (muscle memory mostly), always has at least one eye open, and his “snoring” consists of flipping through radio channels n shit. he chews on things in his sleep and usually that thing happens to be his own arm. he could still be awake if the entire hotel exploded around him but the second someone (besides niffty) walks in the room he’s wide awake
