No problem! He’s soooo flanderized by the writers that I just really feel like I need to talk about how much I like him (At least, my version if you know what I mean)

I think one of the reasons why I like him so much and need him to be a part of the group is because I was always the third person in most of my friend groups (Yk those “I can see the duo” posts on insta?) and I very much feel like he gets it and I don’t want him feeling left out cause it makes me sad so I wanted to make sure that all the stories I write include him being included and him being a good friend.

Uh yeah, big rant. Sorry if none of this makes sense. I’m very tired right now.

Long story short: HE IS A PART OF THE SIGNAL SMAURAI TRIO!! IT’S A TRIO!! NOT A DUO!! HE’S ALSO A GOOD PERSON (at least in my interpretation) AND CARES ABOUT HIS FRIENDS SOOO MUCH AND THEY CARE ABOUT HIM IN RETURN.

Today, Mrs Pretzena asked us to write a diary for the year. I asked if I could draw pictures and she said yes. I can’t believe I an in 7th grade and still need to study English. If I can’t be good at English,at least I have fun in art! Nicky also wants to be an artist, but a different one. He says he wants to be an actor. To my knowledge though, he and Edgy only watch one show-that signal samurai one. Invasies him which show he wanted to be in, and he just nodded as if my question didn’t matter!

I would be upset if he hadn’t brought those chops later today. Edges said that he couldn’t eat those before dinner, something about fats and cholstrl. Nick and infinities the batch. We didn’t have a sleepover, cause of Nicky’s dental checkup tomorrow, but that’s ok

School Night

Season two of the Signal Samurai is premiering tonight, and Miles would love nothing more than to watch the premiere with his two best friends. Gregory is fine with having the boys over, but as it is a school night, there is one condition: homework needs to be finished first. But when each boy struggles with a different subject, they will need to rely on each other for help if they want to catch the new episode on time.

sobbing over the fact that miles still liking the steel samurai franchise as an adult probably stems from the fact that he’s trying to desperately hold onto one of the few good memories he has of his childhood. he remembers having sleepovers with phoenix and larry where they made pillow forts in the living room of miles’ apartment and they would wake up early on sunday mornings just to watch cartoons together. it’s one of the last memories he has with his friends too before being whisked away by von karma and being told that cartoons like that are way too childish and he needs to grow up

So like. I was looking up some stuff about the Samurai series in AA for a fic and I have a lot of thoughts on the Samurai series and how it might work in the universe of AA (specifically as a clear reference to the Sentai and Kamen Rider series) but those are for another day and another post. But I remembered the existence of Powerful Rangers: Rainbow Samurai which is one off the Anime only Samurai shows that specifically comes up in Sound the Turnabout Melody as the show that came out after Neo Olde Tokyo Traffic Safety: Signal Samurai. It’s stated that Phoenix is the only one who’s still watching the show in middle school. (I feel like it can be assumed that Miles is also watching it based around is interest in Samurai continuing into adulthood.)

Well, in my digging for possible info to use in my fic I goggled “Rainbow Samurai” without anything else (forgetting to add ‘Ace Attorney’) and so an anime popped up in the search. I was curious and decided to look more into the show. Now, I don’t actually know if Powerful Rangers: Rainbow Samurai is based on or a reference to the anime Rainbow Samurai (also known as Oi! Ryouma) but I still find this very interesting. But so here was the description I found of the show.

While reading it I noticed the description of Ryoma

Sounded… familiar

And maybe it’s a bit of a stretch but also…

Aaaanyways, I just thought this was super fuckin’ interesting and wanted to bring it to the courts attention lol

UGH.

I was just reading an Ace Attorney fanfic with a really cool idea and it takes place when Miles, Phoenix and Larry are children and there’s this whole fucking thing where Miles is only friends with Larry because Phoenix is friends with Larry and it makes me sooo uncomfortable!

Miles vehemently keeps saying that Larry isn’t his friend and that he doesn’t like Larry at all and Larry is like, super sad about it and like Larry knows about it and so they only hang out with each other to protect Phoenix or whatever.

And Ik people have the right to write whatever they want and stuff but like. Damn. That’s not? Larry at all? Like ugh, Larry wasn’t even that bad in the story why can’t we just have really good friendship moments with those guys?

I just saw Ace Attorney anime episode 13 (the flashback to when Phoenix, Edgeworth, and Larry were kids) and I got SO MANY FEELS… Edgeworth was so sweet and pure as a kid… and when he cried in that one scene it was like a gut punch… owwww

And Phoenix is so sweet… and Larry is so funny but then the tragedy happened and OUGH FEELS I JUST HHHH

I will always ship the three… They need hugs
