While Ingo's ability to foresee disaster is completely intact, he doesn't actually believe it's anything abnormal. He's pretty sure he's just really good at finding and pointing out hazards before they become a problem.
Sabi is thrilled that there's another clairvoyant around, even if she has her work cut out for her convincing him that he can see the future.

Ok so biweekly life update
My wife gave me her old hoodie since my skeleton one that i had since grade 11 (to be fair also used to be hers) has shrunk too much to fit on my torso properly (arms still fit because i have short arms) so since the "new" one is plain black i'm just going to paint on bones to make a new skeleihood
Next is a bit tmi but my stomach has been BAD again lately (will add how to tag so people can ignore it if they want cause no idea how to readmore on the app) so i am in pain and barely sleeping
Good news though seems fall weather will start early, no idea if it will stick but we're also supposed to get a early and "harsh" winter (unlike last year were 2 nov days went from -3c to 15c to -9c and severe snow squalls all in the same day)
Also kinda worried, theres been no apts available in our area incase new people want to us to move but also there hasn't been anyone to look at the building for 3 weeks so no idea wtf the current owner plans

The world exists in such a baffling state of simultaneous sex-aversion and sex-hegemony. Every social platform on the internet is trying to banish sex workers to the shadow realm but I can't post a tweet without at least two bots replying P U S S Y I N B I O. People are self-censoring sex to seggs and $3× but every other ad you see is still filled with half-naked women. Rightwingers want queer people arrested for so much as existing in the same postal code as a child and are also drumming up a moral panic about how teenage boys aren't getting laid enough. I feel like I'm losing my mind.

I'm watching the latest presidential debate live and I can say, it seems like varsity jackets are pretty popular this time. 2 of 3 candidate teams are wearing jackets of some kind.

Obsessed with lovers and piners calling the object of their affections their best friend. Like yessss blur the lines between platonic and romantic love. show how important they are to you in a multifaceted way. Cover up your feelings with another kind of love that is just as true. One type of love does not negate the other and but tragedy can rip both out from under you single handedly, and it will hurt so much more that way. Losing a friend and a lover. Gaining both and not needing any labels for what they are. Using labels but having it be so much more than a title. Were they friends before they were lovers? Or were they lovers whose friendship grew inside of their love? Unclear! Who cares!

friendly advice from vetmed: I know that when your animal has an infection that is generating a lot of discharge, you want to describe that to the veterinarian, because it’s a concerning sign. that is true. I also know that the most common word for this type of discharge is “pus,” so it’s logical that that’s the word that you’ll use when describing what’s going on. and in English, we often add a “-y” when we’re using a word as a descriptor.
but. the word. the word you are looking for. is purulent.
please stop sending in messages telling the doctor that your dog has a “pussy wound.”

some of you people are so obsessed with having an acceptable group to ‘punch up’ at that you would rather pretend a marginalized group are Basically The Oppressors™ than listen to their valid criticisms about the fact that ‘punching up’ very rarely hits the intended target, and the majority of the actual damage of that act is suffered by fellow marginalized people in your own community. there is a significant difference between venting frustrations about privileged groups and just outright attacking anyone who (you assume) experiences that axis of privilege regardless of - and in many cases outright denying - their actual lived experiences. it goes far beyond just ‘venting frustrations’ when what you’re really doing is trying to find a moral justification to bully people you don’t like, and when your own desire for catharsis and moral superiority leads to ignoring the voices of the vulnerable people you hurt. you’re not ‘punching up’ - you just like punching people for the sake of punching.
