I feel like I've complained about Tim's email situation in Gotham Knights before (edit: I have), but the truth of it is just so funny.
He's signed up for so many podcasts, video game streamers, and random news alerts; it's just a constant barrage of data going straight into his constantly whirring brain. Hell, he even floats the idea of the Batfamily having their own podcast as a way to correct misinformation about them (which Jason shoots down instantly), and it's made me realize something.
Timothy Drake would be a YouTuber.
In this universe specifically, Timothy Jackson Drake, the heir to Drake Industries and the foster son of the late Bruce Wayne would be a YouTuber.
Think about it. It'd be the perfect cover. Who would ever suspect that some 16-year-old nepo baby with a YouTube channel could ever be Red Robin? You'd have to be mad. I mean, look at him.
Red Robin just dropped out of literal thin air and garotted someone four times his size, and you expect anyone to believe that's the same kid who does 24-hour Minecraft charity streams and occasionally drops 6-hour video essays (his last one was on Lex Luthor's illegal bit mining operation on the moon)?
That kid?
You think that kid is Red Robin?
Ch'yah, okay, sure. And the Joker is funny 🤡.

On one hand, really funny that they straight up lied. On the other hand, pretty mean that they straight up lied. But on the third hand, I knew they were never doing HL2AIVR.

perhaps a controversial opinion and like. no hate to anyone who likes femsamdean because i like it too but. there is some distinct element of samdean that relies on them being dudes. like….. if they were girls (esp afab girls) do u know how much they would have to be doing to warrant the same “why are they so close… that’s weird” reaction?? the amount of casual affection that girls/girl passing ppl can get away with is insane compared to guys that look like sam&dean. they could be walking about arms linked, kissing each other on the cheek and saying cute nicknames and ppl wouldn’t find it Suspicious. there’s something so jarring (esp in smalltown, usa) about seeing two giant muscly Dudes be touchy with each other. if hunters heard that there were 2 sisters that were badass hunters and their relationship was weirdly close they’d be falling over each other to beg for a threesome. but no. sam and dean are huge and scary and could crush any hunter with one hand. AND they make lovey eyes at each other and sit way too close and live together in their 30s. and no one can say a damn thing about it even tho it’s fucking WEIRD. and that’s what makes it so GOOD. but if they’re girls that part is so diminished. don’t even get me started on how the dynamic with john would be jfc

Mexican-Brazilian Luffy my beloved, Zoro’s working out on deck building up a real stink and sweat, Luffy plasters himself to his back and calls him ‘Zorillo’. Zoro corrects him, “It’s Zoro” and he says “I know what I said”. They’re at a victory party and Zoro’s drunk and practically disrobed, trying to goad handsome pirates into a fight, and Luffy calls him ‘Zorra’. “It’s Zoro.” “I know what I said!”

the staggering amount of x-men 97 viewers utterly trashing on rogue all over the internet because she fumbled gambit and hurt him...
rogue has constantly lived in a nightmare scenario that no human being has ever had to try and navigate (being unable to physically touch anyone) wowwww!!! how could she make the inexcusable mistake of latching onto the first instance of physical contact in another person, but then actually realizing the mistake she had made once she'd actually got to live that experience (that she has never ever had before)
lmao. what a horrible evil bitchhh bro!!!! something something. media literacy

in a perfect world, oleana would realize that she deserves better than rose and macros cosmos after the darkest day so she takes up the mantle of the dynamax professor from magnolia and eventually connects with a fellow assistant that had their devotion taken advantage of by their shit bosses.

a quick helpful reference guide:
Children's books - Target demographic is generally up to like age 10 - basically elementary school and below, for us Americans.
Middle-grade books - Target demographic is approximately middle schoolers (ages 11-15).
YA (Young Adult) - Target demographic is about 15-20ish year olds, so high schoolers and early college.
There is such thing as "upper middle-grade books" (targeted more towards the upper range of middle grade, so middle schoolers going into high school) and other such more specific intended target demographic age ranges within those groupings.
What these ranges mean is that the books differ in how they present subject matter to be appropriate to the intended audience demographic. Obviously, books geared towards younger kids are going to be shorter, use simpler language, and present concepts in ways that are easier to understand for younger children. As the target age demographic increases, the length, word choice, and presentation of topics will become more complex. The actual subject matter within the book itself is unrelated to this classification system for the most part - the books are graded on what's presumed appropriate for that age-range in terms of how children learn and their presumed literacy and reading comprehension at that age, rather than the topic itself.
Rick Riordan is a middle-grade author, and his books are usually middle-grade - including the entirety of the Riordanverse and Daughter of the Deep. The only exception is The Sun And The Star, which is loosely either upper middle-grade or YA, as Mark Oshiro is a YA author and co-authored it.

so like. shadow of the fox fandom r y'all still around
if not, then this is hakaimono (or at least how I saw him while reading) - he's an oni, a smartass, and also really fun to draw, and he's from that book series! check it out if you're into YA that's actually original and delves into Japanese mythology:D
anyway here's my art:
