y'know, i don't think anyone really appreciates the existential horror that the POV character brings to the table in the WKM universe. like yes, yes, okay, dark and warfstache and actor are all excellent and horrifying in their own rights, but listen:

the District Attorney WAS, at one point, a normal person. they had memories, feelings, relationships, and dreams that we never got to see - much like every other guest at the party. but the second they got shoved into that mirror, they became US. they got erased from the story so efficiently that they were essentially pushed into the dimension where their entire life (as well as the lives of everyone they knew) is a story.

no one knows what we look like. we can't talk to ANYONE - whenever the plot requires that we say something, the videos always cut around the actual words themselves. it's like abe's previous encounters with warfstache in WMW - the characters around us patch the holes in logic up in their mind, lest their suspension of disbelief get violently shattered. in fact, the only time we've EVER been able to TRULY talk as ourselves, is when warfstache interviews us during heist, and encourages us to use the youtube comment section. i encourage you all to take a moment sometime soon to browse some of the comments on that video, because there's a LOT! and they're all VERY different!

the key point here is that there's never just one person viewing any of markiplier's projects. part 2 came out a little under a week ago, and it has over three million views. and none of those viewers had an identical experience! whether a viewer has had previous experience with the markiplier cinematic universe, whether they saw the trailer, whether they were eagerly counting down the days till part 2 released, or if they just found it randomly on the trending page - every single one of these factors impacts the experience that they would have had with in space with markiplier! and that's not even getting into the individual emotional experiences (did you like your head engineer, or find him annoying?), which choices that you made and in which order, how long it took you to go through each path, where and how you watched it...

basically, i don't think its a stretch to say that every individual experience of iswm is perfectly unique, for one reason or another. so... how many discrete Y/N's does that make? and are we all shoved into the one body (in which case, get DUNKED on darkiplier, we're TOTALLY beating your guys' high score of three entities per body), or are we spread out throughout the multiverse?

im just saying. at some point post wkm, the actor clearly selected the D/A to be his Assigned Audience for the events of his future stories. but does HE even know the ramifications of that choice? is he able to comprehend just how many eyes are watching him? and does he know just how many are watching his stories not for his characters, but for HIM? i for one think id be a little bit surprised if i expected one (1) friend of a friend to show up to my one-man-show, and instead got greeted with MILLIONS of incomprehensible creatures from a higher dimension, LMAO.
