Stuff like the cartoon Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, Sherlock Holmes but as a dog (Twice even!Wait, Three times?), Sherlock and Watson's teenage descendants solving cases and falling for each other (Teen Holmeses are a genre of their own really) Sherlock but a Warlock, Sherlock fighting vampires and zombies...Even a prequel tale deciding that Sherlock learned his skills from an American But the one time I've ever heard the estate of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle getting upset is when a movie decided to give Sherlock Holmes...emotions

Oh yes. Dog Sherlock, Magic Sherlock, Steampunk Sherlock are all fine but Sherlock caring about his sister is an issue. Right...

Sherlock Bones - AKA Toby.

Husband is playing the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games while I listen and wildly speculate who the culprit might be. We have categorized Holmes and Watson’s dog Toby to be a Boof on the the Yip to Boof scale of dog. Not happy with the lines, but had fun experimenting with shading trying to nail down shading I like.

Took about 3 hours. Trying to whittle it down to at least 2.

Comic Book Saturday

Manga, a Dog Detective. The hilarious name of Sherlock Bones. I’m there.

Takeru adopts a dog, he’s sixteen, it makes sense. But then, the dog speaks, and claims to be Sherlock Holmes reincarnated. Oh, and, Sherlock Dog thinks that Takeru is Dr. Watson reincarnated. Which does sorta make some sense, since, Takeru is the only one who can communicate with the dog (although can he really, or is one or both of them going crazy).

It’s a fun first volume, and, I’m all about the mysteries. And, I’ve read some… not as great talking/communicating animals stories and mysteries in the past, but, this wasn’t one. This was a really fun read.
