as a book reader i ADORE the series but if theres one thing i love more than anything is seeing baby percabeth from an unbiased perspective bc theyre so cute but also percy is so LAME like hes so embarrassing i love him. like in the books hes just like yeah i think she looks like a princess and we only hear his internal thoughts so i LOVEEE actually seeing how awkward he is with his crush on annabeth.

its so cute and i honestly think pretty important for the viewers because it rlly helps to drive how young they all are and how insane it is that theyre being put in these crazy situations. like his dorky face when annabeth smiled when he started singing the consensus song? his voice cracking after annabeth laughed at his potty joke?? the look of brief panic on his face when he realized grover saw the face he was making when he hugged annabeth back followed by the really awkward smile??? THE WAY HE WAS THINKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT A PRETTY GIRL HUGGED HIM FOR SEVERAL DAYS STRAIGHT AND SAW ANNABETH WAS ACTING WEIRD SO HE ASSUMED SHE WAS DOING THE SAME BUT SHE HAD ACTUAL SERIOUS STUFF TO WORRY ABOUT SO HE JUST ENDED UP TELLING ON HIMSELF???? LIKE THAT IS ACTUALLY SO EMBARRASSING I WAS DYING WATCHING THAT PART. THE WAY HE INDIRECTLY ASKED HER ON A MOVIE DATE AND WOULDNT MAKE EYE CONTACT EXCEPT FOR A MILLISECOND TO SEE HER REACTION BEFORE DARTING HIS EYES AWAY SO FAST????? THE TUNNEL OF LOVE SCENE OVERALL?????? THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER LIKE YOU CAN LITERALLY SEE THAT HIS PUPILS ARE DILATED IN A GOOD COUPLE OF SCENES WHEN HES LOOKING AT HER LIKE THIS LITTLE BOY IS DOWN ASTRONOMICALLY HE IS SO FUCKING LAME. like we obviously knew the way they were both ready to sacrifice their lives for eachother in a heartbeat and how well they complimented one another and the way they changed each others world views and made the other strive to be better versions of themselves like ive known they were the blueprint since like literally 2nd grade like that didnt stop me from repeatedly bawling my eyes out over it but thats not the point. like we knew this and we could see it in the books but we couldnt see, or at least not fully see, how big of a stupid embarrassing crush percy had on annabeth and how she obviously feels the same way but is better at hiding it like oh my god i love them i wanna squeeze them until their eyes pop out like those old pens at the scholastic book fair do yall remember those?? im sorry guys im so autistic pjo and specifically percabeth has been my special interest since i was 7 and now 10 years later i get to watch them on tv in an adaptation WITH YOUNG RYAN REYNOLDS ARYAN SIMHADRI AND THE ONE AND ONLY MISS LEAH JEFFRIES thats almost entirely book accurate but also adds in fun stuff that works great in the plot and for the most part even better than the original scenes in the books bc the show is how rick would write the series NOW with all of his new gained writing experience like im actually going to explode the show is so good

“so do you skate?” i asked just wanting to her voice more. “nah i just like the vibe here plus it’s good for painting because there’s no old people telling me i’m ‘wasting my youth’” i laughed at that. Chris told me that nick was calling asking where we were but i didn’t want to leave Ava yet so i let him walk ahead telling him i’ll meet him at the car. “sorry if this is too forward because we’ve just met but do you wanna grab something to eat later? me, my brothers and a few friends are meeting for pizza in south end.” i bit my lip hoping she’d say yes. “sure! i’ve not got anything planned, i’ll give u my number and you can text me the details” silently celebrating we exchanged numbers and i caught up to chris. “i invited ava to dinner later with us!” i said to him excitedly, “matt.” “what?” “you so have a crush on her” “no i don’t what?” i lied “you’re blushing like crazy and all giddy” he replied, i just shoved his shoulder and walked around to the drivers seat. We hoped into the car on the way home, all i could think of was her and how i excited i was to see her again, but then i thought what if she thinks i was being weird by asking her so many questions? is she actually serious about coming? maybe it was a mistake. we got home and i felt my phone buzz.

Ava

hey!! what’s the plans for later?

i was instantly relieved, until i heard chris walk in and said to nick “matts in loveee” while making a heart with his hands, “shut up chris” i nudged him, nick was too distracted with something on his phone to care. “nick we met a new friend and i invited her to dinner later, if that’s ok with you?”

“yea no problem what’s their name?”

“ava”

“oooo ava” he teased

“not you now” i rolled my eyes

“what’s she like then” he said putting his phone down and walking over to the counter where i was sitting.

“we met her at the skatepark she was listening to lil skies so obviously we went over, she was doing some graffiti too it was really cool you should’ve seen!” chris mentioned

“i can’t wait to meet her then!”.

AVA:

i walked back home with mila telling her about the boys, “he sounds really nice” “i know right he invited me out for pizza later but i have no clue what to wear” mila stopped and squealed “ILL HELP YOU!!” i immediately agreed and we ran into the apartment. i put some songs on and she started to pick out some options from my closet, after deciding on my clothes she did my makeup all nice and i sprayed some perfume. “now listen, if anyone tries anything sneaky call me and i will beat their ass, no joke” she said deadpanned, i giggled “ i’m sure i’ll be fine mila” she wrapped her arms round me and sighed “sorry for ditching you tonight, i need a new job honestly this is killing my social life” i laughed and said “don’t worry about it” i looked down at my phone to see matt texted saying he’s outside i quickly replied and said bye to mila, running down stairs being careful to not fall down. chris waved through the window and pointed to the back door. “hi guys, thank you so much for inviting me!” “hey i’m nick, you must be ava?” i turned to my left “yes nice to meet you! oh my god i love your tattoos” he thanked me and i looked forward to where matt was to see him staring through the mirror at me, when i noticed he swiftly averted his gaze saying “ok are we ready to go?” “yep all good” i responded. On our way chris was playing songs on aux while i got to know them a bit better. “so what brings you to LA” nick asked “well honestly scotland is depressing as hell and i love the vibes here but most of the reason was my family” i took a pause before talking again “i’m just not that close with them” i didn’t want to fully unload my trauma onto them, i had only known them a few hours, “what about you guys, matt told me you’re from boston?” nick explained their reasons and by the time he was done we arrived at the restaurant. hopping out of the car i met their friends and we went inside. i decided to sit in between matt and chris in the booth seats and we ordered. in my head i was super nervous to eat anything infront of everyone, it had always been something i just couldn’t get over for some reason. i hadn’t realised i had zoned out before i felt a familiar tap on my shoulder “hey, you okay?” matt asked “oh yeah sorry i was just distracted” “you wanna talk about it?” he offered “oh no it’s nothing thank you though” why was he so kind to me, i had known him for under a day, i don’t know if it’s just because i’ve never had real friends but i felt almost guilty by being there. After eating i excused myself to the bathroom and their friend madi came with me. She was literally gorgeous, like something straight out of a magazine we instantly clicked and she really welcomed me into their group. “ava, i think matt likes you” she whispered “what?” “i don’t know for sure but he kept admiring you and he was super excited telling us about you before we went out” i didn’t really know how to respond so i just laughed it off. someone liking me felt other worldly, i was constantly teased at school and made fun of so it fully drained me of any expectations but madi seemed so sure. On the way home chris handed me the aux cable “since we already know you have good taste in music” he chuckled, i scrolled through my playlist and played ‘broken clocks by sza’ nick instantly turned to me and yelled “OH MY GOD I LOVE SZA” “STOP ME TOO” we started belting out the lyrics, matt and chris just laughed and we drives through the dark LA streets before reaching my apartment block. “thank you so much for the night, i had a lot of fun!” i hugged nick before jumping out the car and waving to chris and matt.

MATT:

2:00am

i was laying in my bed unable to sleep because i couldn’t stop thinking of her. i was listening to music until i heard my phone vibrate.

- Imagine in the Norman and Inkubus imagine you made, it's actually Norman that gets you first. You two have an established relationship before Inkubus came along, and started trying to seduce you. Why is he smiling, now? "... you see, uh... oh shit, I'm a little nervous!" there is not a single sign of nervousness in his eyes; Just a cruel amusement. "Okay, here we go- I like you." Immediately you try to struggle again but his other hand clamps around your arm and holds you still- and close. "Yeah. And well I usually don't take so well to, um... you know, little fucken bitches like you gettin' away... ehhhhh, I'm mellowing out in my old age, I guess. So! Here's the deal,

"I'll play nice. You know, I wont uh... hurt you, I guess. I promise, okay? Scouts honour, or whatever. But you... you gotta play nice too, k? You gotta... " Otis eyes flicker, moving purposefully from where they had been steadfast to yours for the past few minutes... down your body. The hand on your arm moves and ever so gently his knuckles graze against your chest. You jaw would drop if it wasn't restrained. You would shiver. You would hit him. With another creepy chuckle, Otis gives a grimy smirk to you. "You gotta be realll nice, to old Otis. Yeah?

"That's the only way yer gettin' outta this alive, sweet thing. Take it or leave it; its up to you. See? I'm nice!"

Jim Bickerman x Reader-

We have had the comedy, we have had the horror... now we get the angst and the fluff XD Here we go-

You're slowly roused from sleep by the cold, Jim assumedly hogging the blanket (Though that's not a thing he does, he usually doesn't even care about the blanket) so you sit up turn your head to look down at him; And immediately you wince.

"Oh, no... "

With his good hand clamped over his own mouth and his skin looking pale, its obvious exactly what he's dreaming about. His eyebrows are furrowed in his sleep and the lines in his forehead and the bridge of his nose are deep, his breathing is haggard and you know it has to be a nightmare.

This has happened before, ever since that trip back to Blackwater you wish he hadn't taken, and every time seems even worse then the one before. And they change him; The bags under his eyes haven't ever been deeper then they are these days; at least not as long as you've known him.

The worst part is knowing you cant wake him up, you can just be useless there beside him wondering what he's seeing. What part of him the teeth are ripping apart this time. Whether he's getting out alive, this time.

Taking a deep breath yourself, you carefully peel his fingers off his mouth so he can breath properly, holding it tight in your own hand instead. And then you just sit there, in the dark (The only light in the room being what the moon creates, coming in through the window Jim broke a couple days ago.), squeezing his hand and hoping he'll wake up soon. That he'll wake up.

When finally he lurches up beside you, breathing heavily as he wakes up and crushing your fingers so hard his knuckles go white and so do yours, you just let him calm down on his own. Just hold his hand and try to give him space while not giving him space at all; wanting him to have room, but not wanting him to feel alone. You're right here and you're not going anywhere. You feel absolutely useless, but... you're not going anywhere.

A few heavy moments pass where he just breaths, and you just watch him with worry-filled eyes, until the pulse you can feel in his wrist returns to close-to-normal, and you give his hand one final, hard squeeze before letting it go. Instead you silently enfold enfold him in your arms, him immediately dissolving into you; wrapping his arms around your waist and burying his face into your shoulder, slowly taking some more relaxed breaths.

"Heh... not a fan of those nightmares peanut but I gotta say I like the service I get afterwards."

"... are you okay?... "

"I'm fine." He always says he's fine, but fine would mean no more nightmares. Jim says that he's fine when he has shrapnel in his knuckles, Jim said he was fine the other day after he fell off the roof- you do not trust his fine, at all. Crazy bastard that he is; His 'fine' is completely without basis in reality.

"... you're fine?" You ask, an obviously-dubious look on your face as you lean back and tilt your head at him.

Jim smirks, something you can just see in the dim-lit room. "With my flask and possibly a little under-the-covers action sweetheart I could be better then fine." The smirk transforms into a whole grin and you cant help but roll your eyes; Grinning yourself a little, despite yourself.

He's nuts, but you kinda love him for it. "How about water, and some ice cream?"

Eyes hardening, Jim gives you a 'you cant fix my liver' kind of look. You're very familiar with it; It makes you want to laugh. "How about homebrew and ice cream?- and, also, where the hell are we gettin' this ice cream from missy?? I didn't think we had any more. Either you're makin' empty promises to an old cripple with ptsd or you've been holdin' out on me."

-oh damn. Quickly you let go of him and hop outta bed. "... uh... well no we dont have ice cream... not that you know of, anyway." Avoiding eye contact, you busy yourself collecting the half-empty cups of water off of both of your night stands. "So you- uh- wanted moonshine?? Great, sounds fantastic, lets go- "

He's not to be deterred, an amused glint in his eye as he watches you. "Where are you keeping this ice cream, dumpling? I know theirs none in our freezer."

"Uhhhm... "

"Hmm?"

"... fine I have a secret mini freezer in the back. You kept stealing my Ben & Jerries, I had no other choice! Now, do you want some or not? Because if not, I'll just go eat it myself!" With that, you grab a discarded flannel off the floor for the chill and rush out of the bedroom- but its not long before you hear the sound of his prosthetic leg hit the ground.

... Its not long later after that when Jim has you backed up against the cold brick wall just outside the back door; Leant in close and with one hand and one hook on your waist. As well as a devils look in his eye that makes you grin under its scrutiny.

"I believe we made a vow, sweetheart, somethin' like what's mine is yours??... "

“she’s my cousin. she’s gonna be staying at my house for a while.” kiara announces to the rest of the pogues as they make their way into the wreck in hopes of finding some food. little did the friends know that y/n, the girl that kiara was talking about had already arrived and was eating at the wreck after a long day of traveling to the obx.

“hey kie.. long time no see yea?” says the girl in the restaurant as she stands up from her table where she is eating with a slight chuckle and smile.

“y/n! oh my god hi! i didn’t know you would already be here?!” kiara says excitedly rushing to you and throwing her arms around you. you both giggle and give each other a squeeze before backing away. you notice her friends that had come in with her were now standing directly behind her. “guys, this is y/n” kiara begins. “kiara’s cousin. who will be staying at her house for a while” you say jokingly giving her a glance as you refer to what you overheard her say earlier before turning to the boys with a smile. she laughs before continuing, “right yes, and these are my friends jj, john b., and pope.” “hello! howdy!” the boys pipe up. “just friends?” jj jokes, receiving a look from kiara & the other boys. “you’ll learn quickly it’s better to ignore him. it’s nice to meet you.” says pope politely. “hi nice to meet you guys too.” you smile shyly. you all stand there for a second and then hear a voice coming from behind you.

“kiara honey sit and eat with y/n i’ll bring more out for you boys too.” mrs. carrera walks in from the kitchen. “thank you! i was just about to ask.” kie says sitting down and motioning for the boys to join. you all begin eating and it feels like how you left off with kiara. she asks you the basics of what you’ve been up to, how school has been etc. you answer politely only covering surface level stuff while she and her friends listened closely but you were more interested in hearing about her and her friends. they all had crazy stories to tell. after what you had come from, you did not expect that moving in with your rich cousin and her “strict parents” as kie would put it, would start off in a night of laughter. you were skeptical about just how at home you were going to feel here but at this very moment you felt like everything might be ok.

the next day:

you woke up to the smell of breakfast being made in the downstairs kitchen of the home you would be staying in for the foreseeable future. one nice thing about staying with the Carrera’s is that you wouldn’t go hungry you thought to yourself. you rolled over in bed to check your phone and finally decided to get up. you pulled yourself together and put a shirt on over the sports bra and shorts your slept in and made your way downstairs. “good morning y/n, i hope you’re hungry! i made breakfast before i have to head to the wreck for lunch rush.” you hear mrs. carerra say as she wipes her hands on a towel after setting a pan of food on the counter. you smiled politely and took a seat at the counter, “oh thank you, it looks and smells amazing.” “see someone appreciates our cooking!” mr. carrera says from his position at the stove, hinting at kiara who you saw make her way down the stairs & start looking in the pantry for some cereal. you grab a piece of bacon and smile at their comments. “anyway.. what do you wanna do today?” kiara ignores them and walks to sit down by you. you shrug and mumble an “mmhmm” while chewing on your bacon because truly you had no idea what there even was to do here. “well we could go to the beach that’s always fun, have you ever been surfing?? or we could hit up the boys, see what they’re doing today. hmm.. what else?” “it all sounds fun i have never been surfing though” you admit. “perfect i’ll hit up the guys, you can use one of my boards and i’ll teach you!” oh yay. embarrassment in front of your coolest cousin and her cute friends on your second day here. “that sounds.. eventful..” you say and kiara notices your unenthusiastic tone and slightly worried face. “ohh come on it’ll be fun!” she says pulling you up to go get ready. “bye mom bye dad!” “kie- kiara you be careful!” mrs. carrera sighs as you both head upstairs.

HII YES YAY

so going in i was certainly expecting a PRETTY movie but not expecting anything much from the story……pokemon did an “alternative take on the main characters’ origins” movie too that was fun to watch once but nothing super memorable. PLUS you gotta take everything in ML with massive grains of salt to begin with. BUT!!! I WAS BEYOND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!!! WOW !!!!!!! i was NOT expecting them to actually wrap up the love square or the hawk moth conflict in a single film, let alone in a way that actually felt satisfying for every character involved. it felt like a huge callback to season 1 in the best way……everyone’s early-show characterizations are back, the ladynoir dynamic is super tastefully written and fun to watch, and overall it’s just a super sweet unapologetically earnest cornball of a movie. did you know that they are in love? they’re in loveee 😭😭

AND GABRIEL. OH MY GOD. HOLY SHIT. FUUUCCCK!!!!!! HIS EVERYTHING. because like. i love him forever and ever to the end of time in all forms Always. season 5 is insanely funny to me. but this man did NOT start as a heartless megalomaniacal asshole who turns his son into a vtuber and attacks random passerby on the street and buys twitter. he was just an extremely emotionally neglectful weirdguy once. we used to be able to go to his house and beg him to let adrien go to a birthday party and he’d break just a little and say yes. he was SO sad. and blonde. the filmmakers understood this. they brought us back to what we used to have. and then they gave us more by making him SO unbelievably mentally ill. saying he’s busy because he needs to go stand in a corner and brood. having meltdowns on the daily. passing out on the floor. CANONICALLY suicidal. jesus christ. but he’s ALSO still Hawk Moth bitch!!! he’s goofy and campy and a ham without the weight of Being Gabriel on him. being evil is awesome and fun actually. torment and hatred forever <3 and then they do a good job of showing how he falls further into it over time until he’s doing actually outrageous evil shit and attempting murder and going crazy and he’s SCARYY and gets the upper hand super easily and you’re like Good lord he is going to KILL these children. but then the power of love saves him because we do remember that he still has a soul. he takes the L and goes to jail while keeping his Shady Tendencies. that’s what i thought was gonna happen in the show too, once,

also i didn’t know it was a musical going in!! that was a magical surprise!! and then i was like Oh thank god they’re not making Bryce Papenbrook sing. and i was hoping and praying and begging that gabriel would get a song for obvious reasons, and also because i KNEW that if any VA was going to get to stay for that it was going to be Keith Silverstein. and sure enough he completely bodies the villain number and they even gave him a high note to hit!!! ohhh my god. INSANE moments in victor quarterdollar history. it Was weird that they dubbed cristina vee though. she does have a nice voice, i listen to her music. but other than that very good decisions across the board. exploded. died. will be watching again

You know how the common joke is 'Lloyd ugly'? I want a single case where not only does some noblewoman consider it not the case, but they actively do not care for Javier.

like maybe some lady hears a lot about them and everyone always mentions how ugly lloyd is compared to how fucking gorgeous javier is so when she meets them she has this crazy high expectation for them. only too meet them and then go "oh those are. just some guys :/"

and like she's not into super pretty boys y'know, they're cute but they don't do much for her. and she also doesn't like the classic, serious handsome guys, it just feels like they're,,, missing something but she can't quite explain what.

and then she sees lloyd go absolutely feral on something with his demonic smile and all and she's just like "oh no he's hot (O_O；)" cause it turned out her type was absolutely batshit crazy guys with insane expressions and y'know what she's valid for that

lmao maybe she's a client and lloyd just figured out how to squeeze some money out of her so he goes >:D and javier who is right behind him is already expecting her to be horrified like everyone else only for her face to??? go bright red??? her eyes wandering all over the room but inevitably going back to lloyd in fascination? maybe even fanning herself a little bit both to hide her face and because did the room get a little hot all of the sudden??

and then they make eye contact, javier in astonished horror at someone being actually attracted to that expression and her in total embarrassment at being caught thirsting in public and they have a mental conversation with their eyes that basically consists of them going "oh my fucking god-" "SHUT UP!" "-are you for fucking real-" "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP" "-you're into that?? that???" "SHUT UPPPP-"

the sheer astonishment makes javier drop all pretenses of formality with her, he cannot respect someone who is into that face, he's so sorry about it but it's not happening

and meanwhile lloyd has no idea what's going on right over head because he's too busy planning how to make more money <3

and this would develop into her calling upon lloyd to do more jobs for her just to get an excuse to see him and him accepting because they're easy jobs but she pays really well for them and he's not gonna say no to easy money (even if he does make sure to never overcharge her and to get her her money's worth) but he's blissfully unaware of her clumsy attempts at flirting with him and meanwhile javier and her develop a semi-hostile relationship that is based upon javier being horrified at her taste and suspicious of her tries to seduce lloyd and her wanting to throw javier out of a window everytime he calls her out on this

the day javier develops feelings for lloyd she gets this sudden rush of triumph and smugness like she can't wait to rub something on someone's face but she doesn't quite know what or who it is

hey everybody!!

thats a weird ass way to start a diary entry. i can't have a diary because my mom is a little invasive and will for sure read it. theres also this weird little clown pop up on my screen? anyway.

id love love loveee love lvoe more than anything to have a diary. i could paste my little doodles in it like flower petals. and put all of my stickers and pretty slices of papers inside. theres a dog squeaking outside. i don't think dogs should be making that noise. i hope the little guy is ok.

anyway, that was so very off topic. what i was trying to say is that this little blag of mine is sposed to be my surrogate diary. i have this issue online (and even in writing) where i over-perceive myself ("perceive" is a pretty-sounding word. so is sieve.) and my online presence bc its so customizable and because im so disconnected from my sense of self. im a people pleaser even when im writing in a private little diary cause im always thinking, my mom is going to read it, how will this sound to my mom when she reads it, oh god my mom, my mom, my mom (and, to a lesser extent, other people). i hate it. i feel prickled and trapped and smothered sometimes, but dear god i love my mom more than anything. but still, sometimes i feel like im in 1984 and shes reading my thoughts as well as my texts before i can delete them. but also, she pays for me to exist -its a mixed bag with high highs and low lows.

im really hoping that the self-perception thing doesn't happen this time. i hope i can have a better self-concept and be a better person. ive wasted maybe 2 years (i don't want to say that ☹︎) on being rock bottom unhappy, on being filled with hatred for myself, on dreading my own body and face, on corroding and ruminating for too long, until i found myself incapable of loving and v isolated feeling. its an awful way to exist because you deny yourself and other people so much beauty, and because it hampers your ability to really love and be there for other people. i wanna talk about that more (and i spose i can here)

-partially my sadness was/is cause im lesbian and m being raised catholic. ive got a lot of issues to work thorugh hahahaha. or, should i say, teeheeheehee. (LEGALIZE SAYING TEEHEEHEE!!! PEOPLE R SO MEAN AND THEY SPIT ON ME WHEN I WRITE "TEEHEEHEE" INSTEAD OF HAHAHA)

dear god this is very stream of consciousness. well, anyway. i'm not writing it to be read (or at least trying NOT to write it to be read). im writing it to communicate with myself. thats not working very well, i just read through the whole thing again.

i hope this gives me a sense of purity (not like weird sex/virginity stuff, but mental purity, like pure love or pure salt or pure vinegar, with no issues, just clear and soft and good) and of self, like prayer. id probably believe in god without the church and them being mean to lesbians and girls and non catholics and so many other ppl and whatnot bc i love to think that love inhabits everything and i sincerely deeply in my little heart of hearts think it does. i think i might believe in god??? i don't know. i am trying my best pookies.

im a girlblogger cause im a girl!! also im sincerely really trying to be okay and happy. and maybe be buddhist? i got this lovely slim little book by a buddhist monk thich nhat hanh called "true love" and i want that. i want to be a good kind person to myself and everybody else. as karissa love (she is my comfort youtuber and i adore her v much) puts it, i want to radiate love. that sounds a little crazy but perchance i am a little crazy.

also, darn it, i cursed. ive decided im sposed to not curse, so that when i do people are very shocked like "wow omg she said f*ck??? she never says f*ck!!!" and think its a big deal and everything. i could also swear tons so ppl think im tough, but i don't want to scare anynody and i curse like a toddler bc im so out of practice. oh well.

u were right abt me enjoying 'crybaby' by destroy boys a lot as i already know that song and its one of the 2 or 3 songs i know from them lol . its really really good

i Immediately added 'saturnine' to my main playlist once it was over !! the chorus is So nice to listen to i really luved it !

i had forgotten u said u were going for the vibe of floating in the ocean and when listening to 'andromeda' i literally thought 'this song feels like floating down a river or something' . the way she sings 'let me in if i break / and be quiet if i shatter' was So. gah . its good.

what is UP my friend (internet stranger) you (i) came to the right place (your askbox) as i have in fact watched half of the empires s1 series and am making my way through the other half atm! here's v brief analysis off the top of my head from those i Did see:

- gem! WANTS to do good. find it easier to just keep things peaceful around herself and her allies (mainly fwhip and sausage, and also pearl but that's less so i would say). peaceful.. meaning that there's no active fights.. except against xornoth that one time. beyond her relationships with other kingdoms (mostly positive, as she's friends with almost everyone), she has ambitions to grow her own magic and create a school to teach it to others. overall a very "i care about everyone but mostly my allies" character who genuinely tries to do good when she can. side notes: she is twin sister of s1!fwhip, this has canon confirmation iirc; she is good friends with scott despite a few more dramatic s1 events that normally would turn another character against him

- joel. hey man he does not do lore. he mainly builds and it's pretty epic. marries lizzie, can't actually see or hear xornoth mostly so pretends/insists he doesn't exist but in a "you guys are crazy there's no demon" way. honestly that's about it i can't lie .. he's good allies with jimmy but is always making fun of him

- pearl.. i love her. she's literally a girlboss tbh. genuinely so cracked at pvp, 1v1ed a player who was oped for a Long time, v v v cool buildings too. she is very connected to her land and farms, pretty much to the point her soul is bound to it. her strongest relationship is with sausage, and even when he gets corrupted she sticks by him when she can and tries to keep him from Evil evil. kinda sticks to herself a little bit tho, which might be her fatal flaw imo. there's sausage and then there's her kingdom... it's all she has

- jimmy OH my god is SO fun to watch. he's like a bit of a loser but i mean that so affectionately and he has this really fun lore with his cod head?? anyway this guy is just trying to rule his kingdom but he goes so far in gestures that he forgets the meaning of the place i think. he wants to do his best tho despite some people (cough cough fwhip and sausage) antagonising him a lot. lizzie is his sister and joel's his best friend, and tbh things just Happen to this bewildered man. bit silly. big fan.

- katherine!!!!! v soft style lotsa flowers, she collects heads and many find this ominous. in reality she just has a lot of friends and allies. hard worker, tries to keep life alive and fulfill her role, petty when she needs to be but can justify everything she does tbh. cool af imo

- joey ayy this guyyy.. loveeed his pov he just wants to kill people tbh. had an altercation with lizzie and another with katherine and another with the whole damn server. hints of friendship with shrub i think.. she wants him to be better. he was always this evil. he's mostly isolated in terms of allies (besides i Think gem?? a little) but is always Interacting with people yknow? social but in a "not this guy agai- AH FUCK" way. one sided romance with xornoth but if you ask me he always wanted to kill the others so.

I don’t actually know. I’m always attracted to characters who kind of just get thrown under the bus, and also as a certified Jan Van Eck hater I really empathize with the betrayal she feels, because I also feel incredibly betrayed by van eck in many ways. Yay!! Also I don’t really have much knowledge about her, and the speculation about her in my head goes crazy.

A CHILD WALKS UP TO YOU W/ HQ BOYS

ATSUMU walked around the park with you, fingers intertwined with comfortably. today was his day off and he was not going to waste it. by absolutely no means necessary—“WAHHH ! !“ the ear rapturing cries rang from a small child, now clinging to your leg like a vice. “hey there little one, what’s wrong ?” you ushered softly, stroking his head gently. this immensely stalled his internal annoyance, just how kind you were. especially with this frightened child. his heart melting into a puddle of love. “m-m-my mommyy..” the boy sniffled, rubbing furiously at his nose. “you lost your mommy ? okay okay, let’s not cry, she’ll be here somewhere.” you eased, holding the child’s hand as you beckoned atsumu forward to follow. soon enough, you discovered the mother appearing just as distressed, once returning the child to his mother, the setter scooped you in his arms. squeezing your figure warmly. “i’m so in loveee….” he swooned, burying his face in your neck with muffled kisses littering on every expanse of skin. “tsumie what’re you doing ?” you giggled, squirming in his hold. “let’s have some kids in the future okay ? i don’t think i can wait much longer anyways.” he hummed, earning a small gasp by you, laughter not far behind.

OSAMU leaned on the countertop, conversing easily with you and his flirty comments flying in each direction ( as per usual ). this was his favorite time of day, where he could just immerse himself in chatter with you. aimless at that. easy conversation that didn’t require much effort, finalizing with you pulled in his embrace with his lips on yours. there was nothing more he wanted than that. well, maybe there was. maybe when a peculiar little one raced through the doors, a bewildered woman trailing after hopelessly. “see mommy ! it’s osamu mira ! the volleyball player !” the child shrieked with glee, bursting into the air then to climb beside the miya happily. “oh my gods i’m so sorry to interrupt your time, my daughter is just a huge fan.” the butchered name the girl gave him causing him to chuckle heartily. scooping the curious magnet in his arms, she marveled at him with stars sparkling in her eyes. you couldn’t help but grin, your husband is so charming. always has been, always will be. “my fan huh ? i might just have to write you an autograph.” he winked foolishly. the little one kicking her feet with eagerness, pulling a small plushie of himself from her purse. “please sign him.” she asked politely, holding the plushie out. osamu was having the time of his life. “of course, so nice of you to come in to see me.” as he handed back the signed plushie, the mother collected her daughter and apologizing profusely. “don’t worry about it ! come back again sweetheart.”

SAKUSA never hated kids, he just didn’t feel the urge to be around them. ever. well, possibly a little bit. but a midget amount. until a weepy little girl with pink bows in her hand ran up to him, crying her absolute eyes out. “i can’t find my mommmmyyy..” she whined, plopping down on her butt sadly. i mean he couldn’t just abandon her here, it’s dangerous by herself. yet the idea of holding her germ filled hands sent shivers down his hand. however, in that moment he sucked it up. thinking of what you’d do. if he wanted to see you round with child at some point, he’d have to adjust. squatting fown with furrowed brows, he spoke. “alright, can you remember where you were last ? what did you see ?” he tried to make it easy but the crying seemed endless. this was big. thee sakusa kiyoomi holding a baby ? crazy. he didn’t even expect himself to. but still he lightly patted the mini’s back. “you don’t need to cry.” he carefully edged the child to make eye contact with him. eyes filled with trust. “we’ll find her, i promise.” he lifted his pinkie childishly, the little girl linking hers while echoing ‘promise.’ it was quite a sight for you to encounter, heart swelling with adoration for the reserved consideration of your husband. he did find the girls parents, who seemed just as flustered. he excused himself to you seconds after sending farewell, relaxing around you. “you’re so sweet kiyoomi.” — “well i’ll have to get used to it when we have little ones around the house.” you blushed involuntarily at his words, covering your face. “omi..”

SUNA appeared too sly to deal with children. far too mischievous even for you( occasionally ). today you had both volunteered at the child center, something you’ve been wanting to do for a bit. rintarou being dragged along with you. and trust me, the toddlers were madly in love with suna, enamored by his quiet yet snide personality. even if he were to earnestly degrade them, they’d only laugh hysterically as if he had said the most hilarious thing ever. he found this very entertaining, especially with you pretty eyes trained on him. trying to gear you to understand the signs he was expressing. at some point he was aghast at how oblivious you were, simply taking his actions with a grain of salt. he was practically spelling out how badly he wanted this with you. to have a baby, together. despite his lack of passion outside of it. but right now he was putting his all into telling you. somehow. finally he’d had enough, arriving home to snuggle against you with a loud huff of frustration. “why can’t you see ?” he pondered aloud, voice rumbling beside your ears, goosebumps littering your skin. “what is it rinnie ?” you leaned against his chest, eyes shifting closed comfortably—he was warm. “can we have this ?” you immediately understood, his hands coming to massage your tummy and hips needily. he couldn’t be more ready. butterfly kisses peppering along your collarbones. “you want ?” you whispered. “i want.”
