Movie Reviews:
JPV852: Only the second time seeing this (last was probably in the early 2000s on DVD) and thought it was okay but guess like others, this has grown on me. Laughed throughout even when the dialogue wasn’t the greatest, but I have an appreciation...
Vic and I were thrilled to host this year's Secret Santa event at The Elks #2658, where we aimed to spread holiday cheer and express our gratitude to the incredible volunteers who make our time here so special. Our way of saying "thank you" involved giving a holiday tip to those who work tirelessly in the kitchen, serve us delicious food, and ensure our glasses are filled with delightful libations.
After careful consideration, we decided to extend our appreciation to Patricia Rizzo, Samia Saffatte Maugeri, Harry Fava, and Rose—individuals whose dedication and hard work hadn't gone unnoticed throughout the year.
The event itself was a perfect blend of excellent food and delightful company, setting the stage for a joyous holiday celebration. It truly felt like the ideal way to get into the holiday spirit, surrounded by friends and fellow members of The Elks #2658 community.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who participated, making this event a tremendous success. The room was filled with warmth as we watched the reactions of Patricia, Samia, Harry, and Rose when they received our special surprise. Their smiles and expressions of gratitude reinforced the significance of our small gesture.
We want to express our appreciation to each participant who helped make a difference in our support staff's holidays: Karen Savarese, Bill Savarese, Nancy Baquet, Yang Chong, Janet Dillemuth, Stephen Dillemuth, Charles Hernandez, Cheryl Hernandez, Debbie Matter, George Matter, Jacqueline Tavares, Joanna Albrecht, Bernie Albrecht, Lisa Italiano, Lori Bloomer, Jim Bloomer, Renee Grissom, Elaine Bell, Christine Coulon, Kathy Borrelli, Tony Borrelli, Lorraine Ruvio, Frank Ruvio, Kathy Wood, Mike Wood, Sandy Legere, Bud Legere, Ken Kusen, Marsha Kusen, Michelle Furey, Joe Furey, Donna Steinmetz, Ron Steinmetz, Barbara Iraci, Ed Iraci, Shari Miller, Vic Miskanic, and a special acknowledgment to our coordinator, Veronica Miskanic.
Together, we're proud to have made a small but meaningful difference in the holiday season for our dedicated support staff. The spirit of giving and unity truly made this event unforgettable.

Presidential Symposium: SESSION 9: Community Equity for a Sustainable Tomorrow
It is increasingly recognized that to improve population health, health equity needs to become a priority and measures to reduce disparities must be integrated into health, academic services and training programs. Training public health providers, physicians, nurses and other allied health workers to address the social determinants of health is one of the key principles for promoting more equitable health outcomes for patients, families and communities. This moderated round table will describe how to create community equity locally and globally in premedical education and healthcare and sustain these initiatives.

I don't know if anyone has a need for this or if anyone has compiled a list already, but I made a list of ACNH villagers based on their home exterior. This is based on the general SHAPE of the house, NOT the other characteristics like window, porch light, roof, color, etc. The categories I have come up with are as follows:
“Beach Hut”
This is the rounded house with a rectangular porch and exposed bamboo. It should be noted that this is ~*~technically~*~ a version of the pueblo, but the exposed bamboo is a present feature in so many houses that I made it its own category.
to support myself and my family, i decided to start an online jewelry store! i am in no way financially unstable but making jewelry is a pretty fun hobby and i figured i could make something out of it.
this is my etsy shop link
here are a few of the things i make, my prices are relatively low, if you’re interested in anything, please consider purchasing something but please don’t feel pressured!
