HARD. especially the hair #2 trying to inject my hcs. i like to interpret terra as a bit boxier than in canon but ive been having diffuculty keeping it *terra* #for a long time i think i went too sharp n too masculine trying to emphasize the darker more hostile part of his character #but then it just. didnt look like him. #so i went softer this time more rounded shapes more subtle shading #n i think finally that has worked #and lastly. 3 #i think bc i loved him SO much i overthought it. i wanted every detail to be right instead of focusing on the bigger picture. #so it never looked 'right' to me. i was so concerned in maknig it perfect it actually. This portrait was commissioned in 136 AC by her mother, the Dowager Queen Alicent Hightower. This was at Helaena's coronation as Queen of the seven kingdoms, after her brother-husband, Aegon ll Targaryen, ascended to the Iron throne. In an act of usurpation of the claim of their older sister, later Queen Rhaenyra l Targaryen.

Queen Helaena was around ten and nine years of age. She is seen wearing the signature colour of her faction, and the house hightower, green.

This was shortly before the murder of her nephew, Prince Lucerys Velaryon, by her brother, Prince Aemond Targaryen. The event that is seen by historians as the true beginning of the dance of the dragons.

Evie is energetic, enthusiastic, & friendly. Her curiosity & imaginative nature makes her eager to experience & try out new things & share them with her friends. She is always up for an adventure often dragging her friends along for a fun ride! She tends to get easily distracted (which is probably why she has unfinished projects & either forgets about it or promises to finish it later. p.s. she probably never gets back to it lol ) She's willing to break the rules in order to gain an advantage or to keep her friends safe.

Some extra info on Evie

Her favorite color is blue.

Favorite sweets are Chocolate Frogs & Sugar Quills. Least fav are Bertie Botts.

She's a decent photographer, snapping pics of mostly her friends & nature. She either gives them to Lottie for her art or puts them in her photo album.

Loves creatures very much! Can't choose between unicorns or dragons as her most fav. When in CoMC class, she likes to talk to the creatures affectionately.

She sometimes carries a small bag filled with owl treats for her pet Barn Owl companion, Eglantine.

If she could, she would bring Pancake, her pet corgi bestie, along to Hogwarts with her. She often misses her floofy baby. :')

She has a stuffed dragon named Blaze which she keeps in her dorm. Acts as a sense of comfort to her.

homestuck fans when theres no rhyme or reason to the trickster designs and its literally just a jumbled mess of hideous colors and vague candy themes which means theres no consistency to analyze to help with making fan designs

I am drawing after saying I'd never draw ever again just 3 days ago. For my Demon Steve bingo fill! I'm having trouble placing his second horn that would be partially blocked by his head....why did I choose curled knowing I never did this before. Maybe I should do easier horns? I'M BAD AT PERSPECTIVE HELP

I went with easier horns (the perspective is still messed up, but not AS messed up). I've gone through like 7 different horns, and I might change it again in the final cut. Also, I don't think Imma color this....I'm too scared to mess it up once it's done. I'm still not finished sketching it out yet though so we'll see!
