SF9 Inseong Birth Chart Analysis

Based on my opinion and observations. Not an expert. May change later.

July 12th, 1993

Cancer sun + Aries moon - likely squares; protective and strong-willed, ambitious and knows what he wants as both are cardinal signs. If they do square, there could be a case of emotional turmoil and confusion on how to properly express himself, how to even deal with such feelings. Cancer is sentimental and deeply emotional while Aries would prefer to not revel in their feelings (although funnily they're a very emotionally sensitive sign too).

Cancer sun conjuncts Cancer mercury - Good communication skills and high intelligence; active mind; both being in Cancer, makes him intuituve and sentimental. There's a family and home focus. Inseong is incredibly intelligent and he does seem to care for his family a lot. Inseong does not cry much, but there was a moment during a concert where the members were talking about their families and he actually became emotional during the topic.

Aries Moon + Cancer Mercury - likely squares; if his moon squares his mercury, he may have a hard time with clearly expressing his feelings and thoughts clearly. Could be an impulsive way of showing it or an attempt to repress them. Inseong generally doesn't show his negative feelings (having only openly cried twice throughout his career iirc), he seems to prefer being positive.

Gemini venus square Virgo mars - a conflict between balancing the want for intimacy and harmony (venus) with the want for independence and control (mars). This could be troublesome in relationships (if underdeveloped) as this placement craves attention and acceptance, can be quite demanding for it at times. Tends to be affectionate but also overwhelming with the need for reciprocity. I do see this a bit with him as he is very affectionate with his members and does openly ask for love back. On a more positive note, it seems to give the native a drive for creative expression, which Inseong definitely has a lot of.

The Virgo mars also gives him high expectations for himself and others, so this may wedge some issues between him and others if they don't meet them.

Energetic Aries moon and hardworking Virgo mars can explain why Inseong pursues many activities. Likes to genuinely keep himself busy. I sometimes wonder if it is to keep himself from thinking about his deeper thoughts and feelings...there seems to be a sense of trouble of dealing with his emotions. But I could be wrong as there's no confirmed time for him.

Possible rising: Libra - Charming and fun, he certainly knows how to liven up the atmosphere. Loves to make people laugh and have a good time. It also seems he has had to settle some conflicts and/or at least seems a bit awkward with conflict. E.g He was an MC for a P1Harmony for a series and when the group started to get a bit rowdy once, he seemed very unsure what to do. The other members have also spoken about how Inseong has a hard time saying "no" to other people, indicating he is probably a bit of a people pleaser.

It could also give him a Cancer MC, with Sun and Mercury in 10th. Seems quite fitting for him. Career is important for him as he's always working on and pursuing many things (musicals, idol work, variety shows, even pursuing his college education when he was juggling all of this work).

Possible Libra rising and Gemini venus could explain his flirty and talkative nature to the others, especially as both are air placements (mentally energetic and analytical). Quite affectionate and shameless in pursuing and showing that love.

Possible Aries moon in 7th with Aries 7h could explain Inseong's affectionate nature to his members. This placement also reminds me of the time in an interview some years ago where they were asked which member they would date. Inseong chose Youngbin as he believed Youngbin would protect him. 7th house Aries tends to be attracted to people who seem strong and protective.

SF9 Inseong MBTI Analysis

- ENTP -

An in-depth analysis of an idol's MBTI type. Based on my opinion and observations, may change later. Not an expert.

MBTI: ENTP (Ne - Ti - Fe - Si)

Dom: Ne - Extroverted Intuition

A perceiving function that creates new ideas through connections and patterns in the environment

He's super creative and mentally active, he's not called a brainiac for nothing. He seems to need constant mental stimuli in order to be energized, which is why he's often doing something new. He also uses this energy for creative outlets such as drawing and especially writing. He's quite witty and clever, seemingly able to naturally deliver funny remarks without a 2nd thought. He's also quite the chatterbox, which is something I've noticed in many people who are Ne dominant.

In one of his Monthly Inseong videos, Inseong was easily able to conjure up a whole story with many characters. And those characters were given personality, all in a short amount of time. Ne can work fast with ideas and put them together.

Aux: Ti - Introverted Thinking

A judging function that uses subjective knowledge to make the most logical and rational choices.

Ne-Ti is a logical and analytical combo. Inseong is intelligent and this can be seen during his appearance on Problematic Men. His brain for sure works fast and he has no issue with solving complex problems.

Tert: Fe - Extroverted Feeling

A judging function that values social harmony in order to complete a goal

His tertiary Fe seems to be very well developed, which may be why he gets Fe dom types. However, I do think he's a bit too vulgar at times to be an Fe dom though.

With his Ne-Fe, he's able to make a fun and positive(Ne) environment for everyone (Fe). He knows what's funny and acts funny on purpose to make the environment comfortable.

He may also have a fear of possibly conflicting with others. Inseong is quite honest while also being a liar and avoidant of opposition. The other members have talked about how Inseong doesn't say "no" to others, even when he doesn't agree with the other person.

Inf: Si Introverted Sensing

A perceiving function that is focused on the internal sensations of the body. Prefers familiarity and internal structure

He's impulsive and not as detail oriented, which is pretty Si inferior. His impatience and brash decision making can be seen in the Sep Center series, specifically ep 6 and 7. Even Jaeyoon jokes about his impulsiveness.

"I thought about why you're so funny. You act without thinking about the consequences." - Jaeyoon

Dawon has also mentioned how Inseong often just falls asleep without taking off his makeup and/or not closing/putting things away.

People with better use of Si tend to be neater and much more organized; they prefer to sit back and analyze the situation, processing their options before making a move. However, Inseong seems to struggle with this.

Why he's not an ENFJ (Fe - Ni - Se - Ti):

He has a good use of Fe, but I don't think he uses it comfortably enough for it to be his dominant function. And him being Ti inferior makes no sense. I don't see Ni-Se anywhere in Inseong either.

Idk if this is controversial, but studying for a English/writing degree at university shouldn’t make you NOT want to engage with writing or literature. Just a thought.

#the amount of times one of my literature professors presented us with the worst reading or interpretation (some of which were just plain #revolting) of a piece of literature almost as if she were expecting us to like it just because it was sensational and me and everyone else #going ‘um. no. sorry. not only does that make no sense but now I kind of want to throw up’#I just came here to read some gothic lit and honestly I’m feeling so attacked right now. The ocean air.” And God, he wants to leave. He wants to get away from the cloying pressure of his parents and El Paso, but the last time he did that he got shot. An uncomfortable itch, impossible to describe, crawls up his back. He wants her to stop talking, to stop touching him, for this conversation to end. Maybe then he can push all the feelings and emotions flooding his brain away and away and the scraping sensation at the back of his skull will recede. “I just got home” is all he can get out. “Yeah.” The happiness and relief that he is back with her shows on her face, but he doesn’t feel the same. Shannon swallows and her face resets. “Home from a war zone. But being here?” She waves her hands around and gestures to where his parents are sitting with Christopher outside. “It’s not that different.” Doesn’t he know it. “It’s not good for Christopher.” His son’s name jolts him like a shock then smooths him down like a cooling balm. Christopher. Eddie could, would, spend the rest of his life fighting war after war for him, but his son shouldn’t have to live in one. Eddie meets his wife’s eyes. “Okay.”

SF9 Youngbin Birth Chart Analysis

Based on my opinions and observations. Not an expert. May change later.

November 23rd, 1993

Anyang, South Korea

Unknown time

Sagittarius sun - optimistic and curious person, which he is. It should positively aspect his Sagittarius mars, giving him a lot of fiery energy. He seems to enjoy new experiences, always eager to take part in fun things.

Moon in Pisces - sensitive and creative, often internalized. He seems to be able to express his more sensitive side through his solo songs, which have a sentimental vibe and lyrics.

Both Sagittarius and Pisces are ruled by Jupiter, so I think that should add more optimism and open mindedness to Youngbin. A sense of wisdom as well, which has been mentioned by Dawon before.

Youngbin is known for being quite passionate, which I believe comes from his fire placements (Sag sun and Mars) + Scorpio stellium (Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Pluto). This combination makes him very direct and a go getter - Youngbin does not beat around the bush, he's very forward about what he says. What he wants, he goes for. I think this would also make a private combination - the members have mentioned a few times before that Youngbin doesn't really share his feelings with them. Scorpios are naturally guarded, Pisces moons are internalized, and Sagittarius would just rather not deal with their negative emotions in general. There's probably some repression going on or avoidance of heavy feelings and thoughts.

The most Scorpio Venus and Mercury thing I recall about him is the time they were playing a game. The game consisted a series of oddly specific questions about each member that Youngbin got a majority of correct. "Hey guys, who am I? I am the leader." (Such a power move tbh) He's very observant and attentive to each member, no detail slips past him, e.g noticing something a bit off about Jaeyoon's ear, telling Juho to eat more bc he noticed how thin he was getting, telling Yoo Tae to button up several times during a live until Yoo Tae finally complied (both of which were during a phone call bc he was away in the military...like even when enlisted he still noticed all of those things)

In an older interview, he was asked about what he would do if he liked someone and he said he would go straight for them. Which is honestly such a Scorpio Venus answer, whatever they have their sights on, they will pursue

Possible rising: Taurus. He seems to fit the physical image of a Taurus rising well - calmer face and eyes ("sleepy" eyes as he's called them before), his broad shoulders, slender hands and fingers, and especially loves to wear watches (which seems to be a common accessory for many Taurus risings). He's got a calm demeanour over all, not one to overreact but not entirely passive thanks to his more passionate placements. Even when he is surprised/spooked, it's not overly "loud". And speaking of volume and tone, he does have a nice speaking voice. It's calm in a way; I know he's been complimented on his voice a few times before and has been asked if he ever wanted to try doing radio. Taurus rules the throat, so many ppl with Taurus placements tend to have nice voices.

Being a Taurus rising could give him a 7th house stellium bc of his Scorpio stellium (Scorpio DC). 7th house is all about relationships, which seems to be a high priority for Youngbin. He loves to be around his members, always talking about them and mentioning them often in lives, talking about just wanting to have a nice dinner with them often, showering them with affection, very attentive to them. He even has the group's debut date tattooed on him (the clock tattoo on his upper left chest/shoulder area), which I think is a good example of Pluto and Venus in 7th (if asc is in 1st-2nd decan). Possible Moon in 11th could also add onto the focus of relationships. Jupiter in 6th could have a harmonious work environment or at least good relations with coworkers (which he definitely has a good bond with his group).

Possible Capricorn MC and Scorpio placements could explain his natural leadership skills.

Neptune and Uranus in 9th is a high possibility...Neptune in 9th especially seems to be connected to faith and belief. I'm not too sure how devoted Youngbin is, but I am aware he is Catholic.

SF9 Jaeyoon MBTI Analysis

- ESFJ -

An in-depth analysis of an idol's MBTI type. Based on my opinion and observations, may change later. Not an expert.

MBTI: ESFJ (Fe - Si - Ne - Ti)

Dom: Fe (extroverted feeling)

A judging function that values and strives towards social harmony in order to reach a goal

Like most Fe users, Jaeyoon is naturally charming and kind, or tries to be despite his awkwardness at times. He seems to gain energy from others, having no problem with making positive connections (e.g all his flirty jokes to other members and other male idols).

Being an Fe dom and being an older brother naturally makes him a care taker. Even Youngbin has said Jaeyoon feels like an older brother despite being older than him. He's quite attentive to other's feelings, as Fe feels validated with positive results/reactions from others (e.g Sep center; with Yoo Tae, he noticed Tae was quite happy with the needle felting and even checked in to make sure he was genuinely content).

Aux: Si (introverted sensing)

A perceiving function that is focused on the internal sensations of the body. Prefers familiarity and internal structure

Jaeyoon is a very consistent person, as most high Si users are. Has a set workout routine, always makes sure to update with Fantasies, even consistent with the hoodies he wears during his lives (even members have joked about how he only has 3 shirts). Iirc, there was a period where Jaeyoon wasn't doing lives weekly as usual and when he finally had time to do so, he said it felt weird not doing live streams. High Si users do not like to stray from their routine.

Out of all the members, he was still having the hardest time adapting to their new temporary member line up. He has spoken the most about missing Youngbin and Inseong; their absences truly affected Jaeyoon the most. Even Taeyang joked on Weekly Idol that Jaeyoon should just join Youngbin in the military if he missed him so much. Si is not spontaneous and is slower to adapt, which definitely applies to Jaeyoon. During an Idol Radio ep for their Scream promotions, he talked about the empty spaces Youngbin and Inseong left. The ability to clear tension was easy for Inseong but not for Jaeyoon. Doing the ments was Youngbin's thing, not Jaeyoon's. Having those new responsibilities was likely challenging for Jaeyoon, who seems used to simply working in the background.

Tert: Ne (extroverted intuition)

A perceiving function that creates new ideas through connections and patterns in the environment

Since it's tertiary, he doesn't mind doing something different once in awhile.

04/03/22 vlive; He wanted to wear something different for the live instead of his usual hoodies. He couldn't decide though and ended up wearing a button up and track pants. He even gave an explanation to this sudden change. His "I Can" vlive series where he tries new activities is also a good example.

Similar to Inseong, Jaeyoon likes to liven up the atmosphere with his Fe - Ne. However, he's a bit more awkward at times because his dominant Fe can make him self conscious; Dominant/aux Fe users are often careful with how they present themselves to others.

Inf: Ti (introverted thinking)

A judging function that uses subjective knowledge to make the most logical and rational choices.

As his inferior function, it's likely where his slightly scatterbrained nature comes from. Having both Ne - Ti lower on the function stack, it may be difficult for him to organize and articulate his thoughts properly. The other SF9 members have talked about how slow Jaeyoon answers questions and how he sometimes goes off topic mid sentence. It is apparently common for Fe users to struggle with saying their thoughts in a rational, logical manner. They know how they feel but to put it into coherent rational words is difficult.

I don't think he's an INFP at all...For sure, Hwiyoung is one. I don't see Fi usage in Jaeyoon and he's not flexible enough to have Ne in a higher stack.

He could be more introverted socially, but MBTI is not about behavior or social energy.
