I told myself that I’d take it easy on the theories today, but I finally finished Book 5 in my own game and was starting Book 6 when a line caught my attention 😭

I remember a few weeks ago there was discussions of who brought Yuu back to Ramshackle after Grim attacked us. Malleus, Crowley, or even Ambrose. But as I started there first chapter of Book 6, this was the opening line:

“Am I in the clouds?” Yuu then has their vision about Hercules, which coincidentally takes place in the clouds. But Yuu spoke about the clouds before they had their vision…and I think the clouds may hint a lot at how brought us back to Ramshackle (spoiler I think it’s Crowley BC OF COURSE ANDBHD)

But anyway, if we go back to the last chapter of Book 5, it ends with Grim going missing, and when we run all the way to coliseum to find him, he’s digging up the literal stage to find the Blot Crystal. He attacks us, leaving up with a scratch on our hand. But what’s interesting to me is that how we blacked out in that moment.

I completely understand the possibility of Malleus taking us back. After all, he’s been around Yuu more often as the game progresses. However, I’d have to wonder several things, like why would he be at the coliseum this late, instead of his usual place like Ramshackle? Or, why not stop Grim before Grim ran away? Malleus does boast of being faster than any human or animal after all. Or why leave Yuu by themselves when injured? Of course, there could definitely be answers to these questions- he’s definitely a likely candidate! \(//∇//)\ But I think above all- why would he not mention this again to Yuu, or anyone else of what happened?

However, when we go back one more chapter, right before Grim eats the Blot Crystal, Crowley and Ambrose have a discussion inside the coliseum. Ambrose points out the abnormally high levels of magic in a place that should be just for student activities. What’s interesting is how Crowley so easily brushes him off- a little too easily. Crowley makes it sound natural, of course, but I’m sure he’s very well aware of what occurred inside the coliseum, especially since it was Vil’s Overblot.

Crowley then leaves, but this is the last we see of him in Book 5- being in the coliseum. Crowley has been known to stay out of the vital events in the main story, which may be on purpose. Compared to say, Malleus or Ambrose, I don’t think he would’ve tried to stop Grim from escaping, or even eating the Blot Crystals. (And interestingly enough, Crowley does not explain the Blot Crystals until Book 6, where it’s too late to reverse the damage done on Grim. However, Crowley explicitly knew about the blot crystals ever since Book 2)

In the main story, it’s literally been a “running gag” that Crowley shows up at the precise moments when students are in need of his advice or help. Again, he stays out of the major plot points, but he’s always served as a very subtle guide throughout the story, nudging the students in a certain direction (e.g the battle for housewarden in Book 1, dropping in to explain the SDC in Book 5). And at the start of Book 6, Yuu wakes up back in their room, injury still unattended to, as if they never left their room, with no hint or even questioning of who brought them back to their dorm.

And coming back to the line of “Am I in the clouds?,” it’s been very consistently shown that Crowley flys around campus A LOT. In the Special Lessons he drops from in mid-flight, and the 4koma anthology also has shown it in a more humorous way. Malleus and Lilia know how to fly with magic as well, but then the previous questions I mentioned with Malleus still apply here 🤔 And if we look at the map of the school, there is certainly a distance between Ramshackle and the Coliseum- a distance worthy of flight.

So…putting this together, I feel positive that Crowley knew about the events occurring in the coliseum. Perhaps he dropped in to investigate on his own after everyone left the SDC, or he intervened to specifically help Yuu because we somehow blacked out. We don’t know how Crowley appears randomly in the main story at the exact moment when his advice is needed, but he does nonetheless. And it may have been the same situation here. And knowing from how he stays out of the main story, he wouldn’t have stopped Grim from running off, or even explain to Yuu what happened once they’re brought back to the dorm. Remember, he acted like absolutely nothing of note happened when Ambrose questioned him- and so naturally too. Since the distance between the coliseum and Ramshackle was significant (it may have risked Yuu waking up), he brought us back by flying through the distance, leaving us in bed as if nothing happened at all.

…This whole theory is just to say I want Crowley to carry me in his arms AUGH 😭😭😭😭😭💖💖💖 please twst I want that so badly andjsjdjshd him carrying us through the air as he flies would be like a dream 🐦‍⬛

You Are The Stardust Crusaders’ Favorite Anime Character

Jotaro Kujo

He’s apparently canonically a fan of Shonen Jump, so he’s quite a nerd even if he doesn’t look like it.

He’d most likely know you if you were from a Shonen Jump series or a popular series from another publisher. If you aren’t from Shonen Jump, it would take him a while to consider reading your series or watching your show until he finally decides to give them a shot and ends up really liking them.

Being reserved, he doesn’t openly gush about you, but he recommends the series to close people like Kakyoin (if the latter doesn’t know about it already).

While he isn’t really the type who collects large merchandise, such as posters or t-shirts, he will silently support you by buying a couple of small things like buttons or bookmarks.

While he browses anime stores, Star Platinum immediately rushes over to the stall for your series, much to Joot’s embarrassment.

He will stay up all night reading a chapter or watching an episode when the plot gets juicy. Who needs sleep anyway?

He will shed tears if anything really bad happens to you but only in the confines of his room where nobody can witness it.

Even if he has never told Holly she knows of his love for you and your series and will buy him merch of you on his birthday 🥹❤️

Regardless of how interesting the story may be to him, the main reason he invests in it is you. He just wants his husbando/waifu fictional bestie to succeed.

Noriaki Kakyoin

He’s a big nerd, so he’d have read and watched your series regardless of its popularity.

Before he met the rest of the SDC he didn’t have people to gush to aside from Hierophant and his family, but after having met his friends he would occasionally bring your series up in conversation, especially to Jotaro.

While he doesn’t openly rave about it, his eyes light up and he’s more animated that usual which makes the others interested in your show too and it’s just so cute— 🥹❤️

He most likely brought one of the mangas with him on the trip too and showed the others some cool panels.

He also recommends that they check the series out for themselves and tells them that they would love it.

I could totally see him having a blog where he talks about his interests and comes up with detailed theories. There are endless posts about the symbolism behind your series, which have garnered him a pretty large following. He has a picture of you as his icon.

Would write fanfics of you and they’re really well written too. He gets your character just right. 😤👌🏻

He’s got lots of merch, including posters, shirts, keychains, and even cosplay of you (yes, even if you’re a girl, and yes, he rocks the fit).

He puts his art skills to good use by making gorgeous fanart of you and sells some at conventions.

He sometimes thinks about what you’d be like in real life, how you’d look, and what it would be like to meet you.

Like Jotaro, he will stay up all night watching your show. You can’t tell me he hasn’t finished a whole season in just one night.

He has memorized all of your most iconic quotes and has integrated them into his daily vocabulary.

If we’re talking modern AU, he 100% makes tiktok edits, icons, and memes of you and follows fellow fans on social media.

Jean Pierre Polnareff

He had most likely never even heard of anime until meeting Jotaro and Kakyoin. The latter introduced him to your series and he was already hooked. Mostly because of you.

While he’s more into the classic super hero genre of fiction, if your series is something different it doesn’t really matter to him because you’re the MC and he loves you.

Unlike the tamer Jotaro and Kakyoin, Polnareff has no filter when gushing over you. He will endlessly rant about how amazing, attractive, and incredibly cool you are. The others roll their eyes albeit fondly.

He’s extremely excited when he finds out that he can buy merch of you. Expect him to start saving up for a lot of stuff.

Imagine seeing a large, muscular man walking down the street with chibi (Name) earrings. We’re living for it.

While he may not be the best artist, he does try to redraw some cool panels of you from the manga.

He updates the others about where he is in the series and what his opinions are of new content.

While watching the show, he loudly cheers you on when you do something cool.

Like Jotaro, he will totally cry if something bad happens to you in the show but he will fearlessly do it in front of the others. They all comfort him in their respective ways because they’re good friends.

He doesn’t care if the story is fictional. He holds grudges against characters who hurt you and absolutely loves your friends.

Like Kakyoin he imagines meeting you in real life, but his daydreams are more romantic in nature.

Since your series is his first ever anime/manga, he’s enthusiastic about trying out other series, though yours will always be his fave ❤️

Muhammad Avdol

He’s a very well read person who has traveled the world, so he would know what anime is.

While he may not be a “fan”, he appreciates the art and can be found occasionally browsing through manga to pass time. However at some point he finds your series and eventually grows attached to you.

He’s a calm person, so you won’t hear him openly gush about you, but anyone who catches him reading or watching your series will see a smile on his face.

He will openly praise the creator of the story for how well they had written you and recommended this series to anyone who may ask.

He will occasionally discuss the story with Kakyoin and they’d theorize about it.

While he isn’t an avid merch collector, he does have a few trinkets here and there consisting of keychains, stamps, buttons, and the like. Most of them are (Name) themed.

He prefers reading to watching the series, but won’t hesitate to pop in a cassette if he doesn’t have the manga with him.

Ok hear me out about this one,,, he will probably read a couple of fanfics about you. Nothing weird, but he likes seeing other peoples interpretations of your character. He leaves really sweet comments too ❤️

Lmao there’s a high chance that he read one of Kakyoin’s fanfics without knowing who wrote it—

Joseph Joestar

He likes reading comics, so he’d most likely stumble upon your series in a comic store during his time in Japan.

He remembers Jotaro mentioning manga in passing, so he’d decide to grab whatever was displayed on one of the stalls at the very front of the store.

What he wasn’t expecting was to get absolutely hooked.

This series is so good??? And the main character is absolutely amazing???

It would be so hard to get his head out of the book. You’d pretty much have to snatch it out of his hands.

He’d totally gush about you to Jotaro, who’d mumble his catchphrase and fiddle with his hat, but he’s secretly somewhat happy that his grandpa likes the series.

He would also gush to the others and pretty much everyone about how awesomely written you are and how your series got him into manga, which is very wholesome 💖

Will get into an argument with anyone who dares insult you because you’re his favorite anime character.

He’s a huge fan of the merch and would by anything under the sun as long as you’re on it. Yes, he even has (Name) themed socks that he wears with pride.

He will haggle for expensive stuff.

He has a little keychain of you dangling from his rear view mirror.

He doesn't mind reading the manga or watching the anime, he loves it.

He has cassettes that consist of your most iconic moments; basically retro versions of "(Series Title): (Name) Moments!" Youtube videos.

If Jonathan is actually Star platinum, what does he think of everyone is the SDC?

I feel that Jonathan.. or more so; Star platinum would be more flabbergasted that he found himself in a weird ghost body in the 1980's which would be crazy for a Victorian gentleman like him. Oh yeah, reminder: I don't believe in this theory! Theres a lot of scenes in the show that would contradict this (Example: Star Platinum smiling when he was throwing iggy in that one episode) I just find this theory funny as hell because .. the implications.

Weiss: So let me get this straight. Just so I understand.

Ozpin: Certainly.

Weiss: Professor Goodwitch with assistance from Mrs Arc has "arranged" for Jaune's twin sister to show up at Beacon just in time for Beacon's charity auction.

Jasmine: Correct.

Weiss: With the intention that they will be auctioned off as a set... a House-Husband and a House-Wife.

Glynda: That is correct Ms Schnee. Jaune and Joan have no talent for combat, they need to be kept safe, and the best way to do that is make sure they end up hitched, and taking care of a home.

Weiss: And you figure if I bid on them then Pyrrha Nikos will try to out bid me?

Ozpin: It is obvious Ms Nikos is in love with Mr Arc, and it is our theory that if she is presented with two versions of her obsession... she'll finally cave and admit her feelings...

Weiss: And if she doesn't? What if I win?

Jasmine : You end up with my babies as your husband and wife. I can certify they will take very good care of you and your home, in addition to the information Beacon and my family have gathered about your father, you will also as a member of my family receive our full support, morally, publicly, emotionally, and financially to oust your father from the SDC.

Weiss: So it is a win-win for me, isn't it?

Glynda: It will be a win-win for the needy in Vale, Ms Schnee, but you if you win will definitely be set to see all your goals and ambitions come to fruition.

Weiss: And if Pyrrha wins?

Jasmine: You will still receive the information as promised, plus to sweeten the deal, I will have Nicholas use our contacts and finances to add pressure to the SDC board.

Ozpin: So Ms Schnee, do we have a deal?

Weiss: We do.

sugar rush 2022: part two

Hello everyone! it’s that time of the year where I round-up the candies brought to us from July-December 2022. I have purposely added ones that captured the eyes of fans. I have also included some good old cpn archaeology I posted during these months in the mix. It’s been a good year, filled with ups and downs for the boys and this fandom but our original intention remains the same. to support them the best way we can and keep em safe. JULY 2022

It’s a nice coincidence but I think the account posted since XZ is famous with international fans and frequently trends on twitter, so it’s a way for the account to get some exposure to overseas fans. This would have been more sus to me if the Youku account over at weibo posted about him. Lol.

The reason is, Bobo was found to be at the hotel twice within the day. He came back twice. Why can’t he just be on set? People were saying there are so many scenes being filmed but he stayed there for like an hour then went back on set which is 2 hours travel time ( back and forth ). What’s so special at his hotel? 🐰

Then some yellow clowns brought up an interview where Web said he has little time to practice dance — so he does it in the shower. Hmmmmm. 😏

Dancing is his greatest instinct. Despite his packed schedule, he adheres to the principle that he has to be diligent. "Actually, I almost have no time to devote to dancing practice. Usually, I practice to music when I take breaks from work. But that can happen anytime, anywhere. Sometimes I dance during showers, hahahaha,"

Wang Yibo was unable to restrain a laughter.

• On 7/18, this went on HS: Wang Yibo, Song Yier and the Fox Demon King Power Chapter. A rumor that Yibo is gonna star in a Drama. Song Yi is the one who played Baili’s wife in Luoyang. This is not CPN but proof of how quick Yibo’s team is when it comes to refuting rumors. This was quickly denied by big fan accounts and then the producer himself had to speak up and say it’s not true. The point is, if he wants his name out of the HS and a rumor, he will do it. Whether that’s a future project or a potential relationship with someone. Sooooo 🤷🏻‍♀️

AUGUST 2022

• The 8/4 coincidence. Back in 2021, YGY wrapped up. This year, One and Only filming ended.

• During 8.5, everyone was waiting for YBO to post but they didn’t. Yibo went online to delete the automatic birthday banner on his account where everyone can post. What we noticed is GG has a hidden weibo post that appeared around the same time Web was online. We CPN that GG posted something in private just for them. We don’t know at this point what their schedule is but there is some chance of them meeting. It was a quiet birthday on Yibo’s part because of Political tensions.

• BoXiao and Bamboo 🎋

• One and Only behind the scenes has this line : Hope you meet soon. The one who made you a kid again. ; It reminded BXGs of how he and XZ were so child like during filming of CQL. Love makes you act like a child. 🥺

• 8/8, a supposed Yuehua Contract of Yibo was going around where it states he is signed with them till 10/2026. Of course our 2026 sensitive turtle brains are all over it because it’s such a coincidence.

• 8/9, Bobo was photographed leaving Hangzhou and the bone necklace makes an appearance again. SDC photos were also released and we noticed some things like another flower theme 🌺

• 8/10, Bobo’s Big Show Captain Dance teaser was released and so we see another patch. Same place. If you don’t know the CPN to this, it’s the tattoo rumor. This is not the best photo, but do you see the skin toned plaster?

• Xiao Zhan as the announcement bird for Being A Hero’s broadcast.

• 8/11, Bobo was photographed wearing the bone necklace and this time, it’s out of his shirt. Unlike the other day. This is interesting because the night before there was a hot search about XZ being single. This seems like a message to those who pay attention. He still has the 🦴. The relationship is stable!

YBO could easily post at 20:00 since it’s the timeslot of SDC which is not on air that day — they can treat it as a post SDC gift. but no. HAHAHAHAHA! As if we needed any more reason to think their teams are coordinated.

as someone who isnt even an adam fan

the untapped potential he had will still be the funniest thing in the world because you had:

A faunus who'd mentored/dated one of the main girls,

was enslaved/branded under the name of another main girl's family company,

and permanently crippled and haunted another main girl.

(and in my own theories he had some connection to the roses. maybe while raven and summer were dicking around on their special girls' night, they met adam and taught him or whatever)

Of the 4 main girls, 3 of them had direct ties to Adam. He could have served as a much bigger, more threatening main antagonist while Salem and Cinder were gearing up for their own role. Even if he isn't connected to the plot of "4 maidens, 4 relics, 4 nations" it would have at LEAST given the girls an adversary that they knew, rather than forcing them to fight Salem and Team WTCH (since, out of them all, only Cinder has been a direct threat to them. Everyone else they've only sort of met in passing or DIED before even meeting the team)

like it wouldve been great for weiss' arc of "i want to restore my family name and turn the schnees into something they can be proud of" (or whatever her smoke said) if she'd seen Adam's SDC brand

(and if he'd been connected to summer or been a silver eyed warrior then he and ruby would have some stuff to beef out over)

so, why IS introduction hol horse such an asshole in comparison to his further characterization? : a theory

so, hello 👋 welcome to a theory i have and have had for a bit. i apologize for it being so long, but there's a LOT to be said!

as someone who prides themselves on overanalyzing hol horse, i have used all my brain power to come up with a theory that accurately describes just WHY intro hol feels so ... out of place.

hol horse is a man who, while a coward, is true to his heart & true to his core. he is a gentleman to the ladies, so much so that it becomes a cardinal trait within most of his appearances - hol horse is ALWAYS gonna love women & respect the ladies. this is in both SDC and CDDH (which we will be using as evidence despite its non-canon status as it is a prominent characterization & builds upon what is already in canon.)

but if we look back at the Emperor and Hanged Man arc, where hol horse is first introduced, we get a different picture. he

works directly with a man known to be a predator towards women & girls

says he talks up women so they'll die for him

yet, in comparison, aside from the obvious and easily joked about "i respect all women" rant in the hol & boingo arc, CDDH shows hol as someone who has a strong moral code when it comes to women.

in fact, there is an extremely important SDC hol horse flashback that reveals he saves multiple women who were victims after his attempt to kill DIO.

it's just... it's just odd. if he truly is a secretly gold hearted man who cares, why would he treat women like garbage and use them as bait to save his own life? why would be more threatening and full of himself if every further appearance just erases it & never mentions it again... 🤔

well, let's begin our theory with the fact that it seems DIO, all this time, never really trusted hol horse, calling him pathetic and wondering when "he'll do something on his own for him" even after he had "killed" avdol.

so DIO does what DIO does when he wants someone to work for them BUT doesn't trust them as easily. Hol's just in it for the money & the riches, right? he's a valuable ally, but not as committed to the cause as DIO feels he should be... but I digress...

let's note that in Hol Horse's first appearances in Emperor & Hanged Man, we never get a peek at his forehead - his hat masks it.

this is in comparison to getting to see it in the Justice & Hol and Boingo arcs.

so we're left with DIO not trusting a minion, a deliberate covering of the forehead, and a personality that contradicts further & more consistent characterization later on in SDC and — wait.

haven't we .... seen this before?

and wasn't hol horse supposed to be a crusader at some point, much like Polnareff and Kakyoin?

and haven't we learned that DIO implants the buds to keep those he doesn't trust in line? if hol horse did something that brought back DIO'S trust in him (say, killing a member of the Joestar Party), DIO would KNOW he was committed and loyal to him, proving himself...and thus, no more need to control him.

no more need for a fleshbud, even if he disappoints him afterward.

and no more need for hol horse to act more evil, more manipulative, and more forgiving of disgusting crimes against women he'd never forgive otherwise.

Maybe I'm a bit off with this theory, but I do think the tree is the way out but will only let you out if you've learned the lessons the Ever After is trying to teach you.

For team RWBY, the Ever After seems to be trying to help them move through their problems by showing it to them.

For Yang, it's the knowledge of being loved and her self sacrificing tendencies. She knows she's love, but is a feeling, a knowledge, that she doesn't know if she'll ever get it back if she loses it. She sacrifices herself for others because it's all she knows, and she'd rather lose herself or her arm than lose anything that feels like love.

Ruby’s dealing with the burden of leadership, the thoughts of failure, losing a friend, and draining hope. Everything she keeps pushing down and aside because she has to be strong and keep going. And more than likely she's put on that brave face since she was little, picking up those habits from Yang, Qrow, and Taiyang while trying to be like her mother. Her mask is finally cracking, the tears are coming through, and it's just a matter of time before she breaks.

Weiss is going to have to figure out what it means to have a home and what she plans for her family name now that the SDC may no longer physically be around. Her journey as a huntress started as a way to reclaim her family name, and has led her to losing the two homes she knew. And while she's talked a little about it, she's still trying to ignore it.

Then we have Blake. Her lesson to learn isn't as clear yet, but it's more than likely going to hinge on what she's willing to do to keep her friends, and more importantly Yang, around. That while she feels like she runs away from her problems, she's also not always there for those who needs her.

And the tree will only open up for them once they've learned.

SDC Month - June 2022 - Saturday #4

(Cut for length and spoilers, mainly for The Masters and The Chosen.)

The Twins Laugh When the Ruling Lord Imago Makes Plans

Once more, we return to the early books in the series for the third and last theory for this SDC month. More specifically, this theory is going to be focusing on (some members of) House Imago. I trust everyone will remember Jaspar's little speech in The Chosen, in which he dwells a little on his motives for patricide:

"Terrible." Jaspar's hand went to a chain at his throat, drew out from his robe a Ruling Ring and dangled it. "But there are compensations for such loss. Long have I coveted this… to wield its power…" He sighed in a kind of ecstasy. "I cannot count how many times I have wished him dead."

Now, this does not tell us much regarding what the late Ruling Lord Imago and Jaspar's relationship was actually like, particularly on the former's side. Several possibilities could be at play, of course — it's far from implausible the senior Imago was an abusive father to his son, for one. I could, however, see them as just never having been close (or perhaps, their relationship having degraded over the years), which would still be consistent with Jaspar becoming increasingly more focused on becoming Ruling Lord Imago, and too impatient to wait for his father's natural death. (Which could perhaps be supported by the fact Jaspar never actually says he hated his father, only that he wished for his death. A distant kind of relationship could certainly still result in contempt, leading to Jaspar not feeling strong animosity for Lord Imago exactly, but being completely uncaring of his well-being or lack thereof, and the elder Imago essentially being just an obstacle in Jaspar's way to power.)

Thinking about the Imago family dynamics led me to consider that, as mentioned above, we know nothing regarding how Lord Imago felt about his elder son. An intriguing possibility emerged: it is not only entirely possible his feelings were quite similar to Jaspar's towards him, but that he was actually aware of his son's patricidal intentions. (In spite of the fact Jaspar had to be extremely careful to avoid any concrete evidence of his crime coming to light, the fact that he was responsible was still very obviously an open secret, so I would be incredibly surprised if cases of patricide (or at the very least, unrealised patricidal urges) were particularly rare among Chosen.)

This becomes interesting when considered alongside the fact that Ykoriana's attempt to have the group of faction representatives returning to Osrakum assassinated was also quite unsurprising in-universe. The Ruling Lord Imago, leader of his own important faction and no doubt a man with decades of political experience, would also have been aware of this. And yet, he still sent his own son and clear heir (as said in the books, there seemed to be no doubt Jaspar would be elected as his father's successor) on what was a considerably risky mission. (Not to mention assassination would be far from the only danger the group would be facing: there would also be all the potential accidental perilous situations to account for, such as a storm causing the baran to sink.) While yes, the choice was based on sending one representative for each faction, and this could instead be read as meaning Imago trusted his son far more than anyone else he might have sent in his place, I would say the lack of information about his motivations does not favour either of the possibilities more than the other. We can't be absolutely sure that there was not anyone else (his younger son, a cousin or a lord from another House he happened to trust to some degree, etc.) he trusted enough to send in this mission, which in my view creates just enough doubt to give this theory some plausibility.

So let's consider that Lord Imago did have his suspicions about Jaspar's plans, and was also well-aware of the risks posed by the journey. I propose that it was not just a matter of him being unconcerned about the danger to his son, but that he was actively hoping for his death. Even taking information gaps into account, Imago could have much to gain from Jaspar's death. First of all (and more importantly in the short term), it would remove the danger to his own life. He would know Jaspar was likely just waiting for a good opportunity to present itself to enact his plans, and so would have acted pre-emptively. Since he had two sons, he would not be left without a clear heir (and we have no reasons to believe he might have seen his younger son as a threat, or at least not as a great a threat as Jaspar). It would also be a course of action that would leave no incriminating evidence pointing to him, since he would be taking advantage of another's assassination plot (and I think that would be his desired outcome; while an accident would serve the same purpose, he couldn't, of course, count on a random occurrence).

Additionally, it could be something to be used to his own advantage, attempting to improve his public perception by playing the role of the grieving father who had oh-so-tragically and unexpectedly lost his elder son and heir. (While I tend to agree with the characters' belief that Ykoriana would never be actually publicly accused of the murders, Imago could certainly still capitalise on natural suspicion towards her, if that happened to serve his purposes.) Furthermore, as the deaths of Aurum and Sardian would be a heavy blow to Osidian's faction, Lord Imago could stand to benefit from that as well, as some (if not a significant number of) supporters of Osidian might switch sides and join him instead, seeing their cause all but lost. (This is not actually that relevant in the context of this theory, but it doesn't seem unlikely to me that Imago would ultimately side with Ykoriana and Molochite in this scenario; joining Osidian's diminished faction would carry more risks and fewer chances to gain anything from it. He would essentially reap the rewards Jaspar did in canon.)

To conclude, sending Jaspar on the mission to convince Sardian to return to Osrakum would have a non-insignificant chance of being advantageous to Ruling Lord Imago on both a personal and political level. It would, however, be a plan that would always be somewhat of a gamble, and unfortunately for Lord Imago, one that proved unsuccessful.

And so we reach the end of the Saturday theories project (though there might be a new one next December, if I do come up with new theories in the meantime). What did you think of this one — and where does it rank in terms of plausibility compared to the two previous ones for you?

as of now i just realized that i haven’t shared this theory/au of mine on tumblr before, and since the stone ocean anime has wrapped up i feel it would be fun for me to share it out to even more people!

the au i developed has been centered around this one simple theory:

(my own proper explanation and reasonings will be under the cut if you’re interested)

the foot bone that was being used during stone ocean is technically and most certainly jonathan’s with his own dna. after examining the timeline, dio had given this to pucci before he fully took over jonathan’s body around the end of sdc. i’m not 100% sure though since it’s been a while - even if his body was taken over during dio’s process the metatarsal bone still has parts of jonathan inside of its structure, extracting from skeletons is a common practice for identifying remains in plenty of scientific fields due to this fact (plus with the baby having that birthmark... come on now). another aspect which ties this entire concept together is during most of it’s duration shown the green baby is incredibly fond of jolyne, taking a liking to her in an instant with anasui even commenting it’s as if it knows her (maybe even for a long time as he states in the anime).

i have been pondering about the idea that if this baby were to properly grow up and thrive instead of ultimately fusing with pucci it could have become a near copy of jonathan joestar in terms of looks. of course this baby is a plant creature so its anatomy and certain visuals aren’t fully jonathan, however the dna/genes involved are a major part of how it could grow and take shape if given the chance.

from now on i will be reblogging this and adding on explaining how the story i have developed goes - it isn’t fully planned out but i have many ideas which build upon it. as for now thank you for reading my wacky concepts. :)

RWBY Saints of Remnant Notes: Adam Taurus, Surrogate Brother, Liberator, and former slave worker

WARNING: This post contains is a radically reimagined Adam Taurus in a positive light in a heavily reimagined RWBY AU and has cliche and a ship that may turn you off due to Canon, if Canon Adam has given you a permanent bad taste in your mouth, I understand, this is an AU, just please do not come in with bad faith and ignore me instead.

Now following my altered Jack Schnee is Adam Taurus

Now given the whole grievances the RWDE tag as made about him, and looking back on him myself, I'd had figured there were two options for him, at least in my opinion

Either make him anti-villain or initial antagonist turned ally, which I have chosen for the latter. Either way, I threw out him being Blake's ex because I honestly thought it was kinda dumb and melodramatic.

Though FRWBY as I heard has done a good job tweaking that to make it work as well as Adam as a villain.

But I chose to go for something else, Adam being something of a surrogate older brother for Blake instead.

For this specific backstory, Adam is from Mistral, from a small village led by his father, a respectable Huntsman.

Now I'm trying to figure it out but with my Altered SDC and Jacques post, Arthur Gray(Watts) megacorporation GigaWatts Incorporated has outsorced work, and much like the SDC in Canon!RWBY Adam's family worked at one of their factories in the East under poor working conditions which claimed the life of his parents.

Adam much like his Canon counterpart, also worked pretty much as a slave, and his eye injury I chasing between either branding or a factory accident.

Now this draws on Fritz Lang's Metropolis which I feel like doesn't get enough love, and I will use this clip along with Metropolis when I get to post about the not-so-good doctor, his mega-corporation, and the current state of Atlas later.

But basically, Adam was emotionally drained at that point. A zombie of a young man who felt hopeless.

One day in his younger days The White Fang's Eastern Branch attacks the factories. And the one leading the charge was the current White Fang leader, a spider Faunus by the name of Rina Kumokage(first name a placeholder) and her second-in-command Sienna Kahn. Seeing them in action reinvigorated and inspired him and joined them instantly when the two offered a hand.

However, this wouldn't be the liberation that he thought it was, at least not entirely.

Rina's leadership was questionable over in the East while the other branches of the other three corners were busy, Rina seemed to be driven more by politics than the morals of common decency, and had abusive tendencies towards Adam and later on Blake whom she also took under her personal tutelage due to knowing her late father Kuroto(aka Ghira) who was a high ranking member of the White Fang.

But it wasn't all bad, for while Kumokage was a cruel teacher, Kahn on the other hand was the closest thing he had for a mother after losing his parents, and she herself was often downplayed by the current WF leader.

Soon Adam began to realize Rina saw the White Fang as a means for political power, a demagogue exploiting a legitimate cause for mercenary motives. But he wished for no outside help, for reasons I am trying to figure out, but partially the same reasons for Blake of being introverted, not to hurt those close to him.

Now for his allusion, there's always been the argument he was the beast and Blake was the Beauty

But after remembering an analysis post I can't remember where on Tumblr I figured

What if Blake and Adam were both the Beast? like a collective allusion? Which is based on my RWBY collective allusions theory but that's another post for another day.

Adam's individual allusion however is not the Bull Demon King, but Red Boy, with his late parents being The Bull Demon King(his Father) and Princess Iron Fan(his mother), both of their lessons sticking to him. So unlike his canon counterpart while his sanity may had been bent, it wasn't broken.

Now Sun in this AU is the 'Beauty' to Blake's 'Beast' and as for Adam, the ‘Beauty’ to his ‘Beast’ is and hear me out here...

Yang Xiao Long

now I know what you all are thinking...

But here's the idea

Adam as a good guy I would imagine being this grumpy kinda no-nonsense dude and something of a ham(he writes poems in his downtime) and I feel like that would compliment Yang's 'flirty party girl' personality and would play off Black Sun too

Two ships that are similar, yet different, and I just don't mean in a gender bent way.

But not only that, Yang’s role is also to mend the strained brother-sister relationship of Blake and Adam. Adam isn’t obsessed with Blake but was kinda like “Blake, what the hell?” When she left. He’s kinda pissed, but not a flat-out murderous lunatic.

And Yang being an older sibling herself can relate to Adam and talk it out with him, notably all the good things Blake has told Yang about him.

And then of course Yang does try to resort to some spicy flirting, but Adam being taught about earning the blessings of the parents and abstinence, doesn’t reciprocate the same way.

Spoiler alert, Adam is flustered by Yang’s midriff but also know it’s not good for practical purposes in her line of work. Yang notices and tries to tease him further, only for him to tickle her mercilessly to make his point, leading her to make a wardrobe upgrade for “V2”

And I’d be lying if my this was not somewhat influenced by my Catholic faith about modesty and no sex outside of marriage, but I’d think it be kinda cute and funny to ship Yang who’s flirtatious and likes to flaunt it with a very honorable and kinda traditional dude. Expect lots of disappointed pouts from Yang.

Now his altered personality I was inspired by 2 sources

Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender

But also Grimlock in Transformers: Fall of Cyberton which the game is also an influence for my reimagined Arthur Watts

For those not in the know-how, Fall of Cybertron due to it success had become the reboot basis for all G1-esque Transformers stories onward.

In it, Grimlock is the commander of the team and had been captured by Shockwave, who is a scientist, to be painfully experimented on which would turn them into Dinobots. Grimlock, driven by furious vengeance free's his comrades and seeks to destroy Shockwave.

Now Grimlock is still a good guy and believes defending the weak and migh-for-right, but he's bad tempered, stubborn, and headstrong really doesn't see eye-to-eye with Optimus Prime, seeing him as a weak leader and barely accepting him as leader due to the Matrix.

So it's kind of the same principle with Adam, with Watts being the 'Shockwave' to his 'Grimlock', though to be specific, Adam has a vendetta against the one running the factory he and his family worked at. Will get to him in the future.

So yeah, that's my Adam so far.

Hi!!! While I'm really happy with the successful completion of season 5 of SDC, but I came across the clips of 🐢 and 🏍️ fighting with each other & there were staffs removing the red lights from the crowd which kinda made me upset. I know that it's completely fair for the staffs to promote wyb & his team in a show where bjyx related stuff is irrelevant. Anyway I know I should stay away from Twitter it's just bloodbath out there.

A lot of people have written me about this incident, and @accio-victuuri did a post about it as well, which you can find here. I just have a few things to add on this topic.

The question that keeps coming up is, "Should BXG be showing up at GG and DD's events with BXG banners and fan materials?"

To me the question isn't, "Should BXG be there?" the question is, "How should we conduct ourselves in public?"

We have every right to go wherever we want, online or off. We have the right to show our support for GG and DD. What I don't think we have the right to do is make a big spectacle of ourselves, or escalate tense situations in public places or in online spaces.

Here's the thing that I think we always need to keep in mind: we are the fringe group. We are the group that is going to be targeted for bullying and hate. In the eyes of the world at large, we are pervs who ship together real people using crazy theories and tinfoil hat clues. The myths about who we are and what we are about are far more widespread than the realities.

It is the fact that GG and DD are real people that makes our fandom fall under greater scrutiny, and it is why we have to be extra careful about how we behave. These aren't a couple of fictional characters. Everything that we say and do reflects on and has a potential to impact two very real people.

And if we believe they are in a real relationship, that makes it doubly important that we conduct ourselves with extra caution.

Going to an event - even an event that only one of them is present at - with turtle light banners and cute little dolls is totally fine, what isn't fine in my view is to cross over into behavior that might be disruptive. I have said it a thousand times, we should always stay in our own lane.

Solos are going to attack, bully and harass us. It's just the way things are. You've heard me say this a lot in the past - we don't have any control over what other people say, do or think. The only thing we have any control over is how we respond to what other people say, do or think. And if we care about GGDD and the turtle fandom we should always be choosing the response that will lead to peace.

When solos attack us, it is better to take the high road and do what we can to de-escalate the situation. This goes for online or offline.

The friendlier someone is to somebody who is being cruel to them, the nastier the cruel person looks. But as soon as we start behaving nasty back, we start looking just as nasty as the person attacking us.

And let me guarantee you, this is one area where appearances do matter. As I stated before, we are a fringe group. We are going to be targeted. If we look like we are asking for it, we're only making matters worse for ourselves. We are only jeopardizing our own existence as turtles.

If our behavior escalates rather than de-escalates fan wars, then we are generating fan wars that can harm GG and DD, and can jeopardize the turtle fandom.

It's likely that some solos are fully aware of that, and try to actively bait us. Be well aware and simply block and ignore.

As for the claims being made about what happened, and who said what and who did what, and which light banners were removed and which were not - and why, none of it matters. What matters is putting a stop to the fan wars. Or, at the very least, putting a stop to our contribution to the fan wars.

It doesn't matter whether turtles or solos, they were all there representing DD and they embarrassed him, at an event that he was not even supposed to be the focus of. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that both solos and turtles made a negative spectacle of themselves. No one here comes away with a clean face.

Everybody from both fandoms should be deeply ashamed and humbled right now, not trying to justify themselves.

I see a lot of hand-wringing from people about what so-and-so said or did, or what so-and-so posted on Twitter. We shouldn't be fooling ourselves. Anything posted on Twitter is going to have a high chance of generating conflict. Conflict is a core feature of the culture of Twitter.

Nothing posted about GGDD or about turtles, no matter how benign or even positive, ever fails to draw solo hate and personal attacks toward BXG. Anyone who thinks that kind of BS can be avoided is fooling themselves.

I've been on Twitter, I see the kind of things that solos flock to and attack. They are just as likely to freak out over a cute piece of fan art as they are to freak out over a video showing fans arguing.

As I said before, it doesn't matter what solos do, what matters is how we respond to what they do. We should be blocking, ignoring, and reporting where appropriate.

Their behavior is their own responsibility. Our only focus should be on our own behavior.

I will never understand why people freak out over the fact that solos are saying hateful things about us on Twitter. Their opinions simply don't matter.

The impact of truth upon rwby

I would like to get your thoughts on these as well as they do pertain to similar subjects that we have talked about in the past.

What do you think of Ozpin's choice on choosing Pyrrha to be the new Fall Maiden?

On paper it seems ideal but like any candidate chosen or given a job or task it's the then and there do you see whether or not it was a good choice and selection to make that person the one for the job or in this case Pyrrha as the Fall Maiden.

Truth be told when Oz made this choice there is a very high possibility that he didn’t know Pyrrha as much as he needed to and this is due to Pyrrha herself.

Personally I think Pyrrha more or less was having the same problem as any teen that could have been resolved had she talked and shared her thoughts about it instead of bottling up her emotions and just going with the flow.

Had that been known chances are Ozpin wouldn’t have chosen her to have been the Fall maiden but in all honesty and truth there weren’t that many options if you had to choose a good natured candidate to be an all powerful elemental avatar so yeah on paper she seemed like an ideal choice but once you read in between the lines it's a 50/50 gamble on whether or not it will pay off.

What is your opinion on Ozpin withholding the truth from his current allies of Salem's true invulnerability and immortality?

First off she is not invulnerable, maybe fast healing but not invulnerable if V8 is proof of anything.

Second to answer this one I have to invoke the old question that Dr. Oobleck asked team RWBY; Why did they become Huntsmen and Huntressesin the first place?

Before Salem was even a thing to the main characters they seemed pretty ok spending their lives knowing they can never eradicate the Grimm so that does beg the question; What’s the difference between then and now?

All they know now is that the Grimm have a leader and that just like them they can never truly eradicate the threat of her but beyond that what has really changed?

Does knowing that you can never beat or kill the final boss that is actively trying to kill you, your friends and every defenseless innocent really going to discourage you from doing whatever you can to help hinder said enemy and defend everyone you care or will care for?

No unless you have resolved to continue on with the fight and endure knowing that you may not succeed, and that those of good may continue to fail for thousands of years after you but they will not stop. All it takes for evil to truly succeed is if good people do nothing.

Now why do I bring up this highly philosophical theory is because everything that I just said is what is more or less Ozpin’s resolve and why he didn’t share the truth about Salem’s immortality with his allies; They are not Heroes who joined him to counter Salem

Other than Ruby Rose every single one of Ozpin’s allies did not join his fight against salem because they were altruistic or charitable enough to lend a helping hand for the greater good, no just like their choice to be huntsmen and huntresses they are not in this fight because it's the right thing to do, they are in it hoping that it will help serve their own personal needs and goals

In short the overall reason why Ozpin didn’t share the truth is because almost all of his allies are not true or real heroes that are on his side because it’s the right thing to do.

To help further explore this point here’s a list of goals and motives for some of Ozpin’s allies for either being huntsmen or being in this conflict and why they prove that they did not deserve the truth

These will also lead into the next question.

Team RWBY

Weiss;

Goal; redeem the Schnee family name & SDC.

Motive; prove that she is nothing like her father.

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; All her efforts and goals are self serving and tend and will only benefit her so that she may not feel so guilty about being a rich girl with a monopoly on the words most relied and needed resource to survive on

Sidenote; I’m not familiar with the inner workings of shady corporations or questionable business practices but i'm pretty sure being a monster slayer is not going to expose and remove Jaques from power so can someone tell me why Weiss couldn’t have done a whistleblower operation or corporate espionage instead of becoming a Huntress because honestly besides the fame and notoriety I don’t think there was any legitimate reason for Weiss to be a huntress (Like do Huntsmen double as PI’s or something?)

Blake;

Goal; Faunus equality/ Making things right with her friends

Side note; not gonna lie I don’t even know what her goals are anymore as her character at this point has been reduced to a love interest for Yang

Motive; Better life for herself/ Redemption for being both an enabler and coward

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; Just like Weiss, her goals and motives are also self serving in the sense that it opens more opportunities in life for blake as well as to put her mind at ease for being an ex terrorist as well as abandoning her friends and family in the past

Yang;

Goal; Find out why Raven abandoned her

Side note; Honestly this could have been resolved had anyone just told her that her mom was a psychopathic murderer who would rather kill than be part of a family

Motive; Besides knowing the truth for why Raven is awful she is also motivated by thrill seeking adventures and danger

Side note; there might be a bit of revenge and resentment added to her motives post V3 due to being framed losing her arm and being abandoned by almost everyone she had known

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; Besides being the daughter of a person that uses Ozpin’s teachings and power for evil, Yang is another example of someone who only does things that benefit herself and could care less about what happens(not unlike Raven)

Sidenote; if V5 & V6 are anything they prove that Yang is more or less the first one to walk away, and doesn't give a damn about the Salem conflict and will have left had Ruby not been there to stay.

Team JNPR

Jaune;

Goal; Become a Huntsmen to prove himself to his family and be a hero

Motive; apparently he is the family disappointment

Sidenote; Revenge for Pyrrah may be a motive post Fall of Beacon

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; besides lying, cheating and forging transcripts to get into beacon Jaune is another example of a self serving huntsmen with the added bonus that he should never have been involved in the first place

Sidenote; I can’t say for certain why Ozpin allowed Jaune to continue as a student in Beacon with forged transcripts but I doubt a reincarnating benign with 1000+ years of experience wouldn’t recognize forgery so for the benefit of the doubt lets assume that Ozpin decided to go with a 50/50 gamble either A.) Jaune becomes a great huntsmen or B.) he dies either way Jaune got what he wanted and Ozpin wins.

Nora;

Goal; Be with Ren/ Find self worth independent from Ren(Later)

Motive; Not to be alone and abandoned again

Sidenote; V8 really gave Nora depth as a character as to be honest she more or less was a flat character

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; Honestly besides Ruby, and Pyrrah Nora more or less had a decent 50/50 chance to have been involved in the Salem conflict however Nora Pre V6 wasn’t exactly the most reliable or secretive individual from Ozpin’s perspective and in all honesty had very little relevance or motive to be involved in the Salem conflict

Ren;

Goal; Become a Huntsmen

Sidenote; Possibly wanting to prevent others from having to lose what he had lost

Motive; Grief and anger from being orphaned by the Grimm

Sidenote; Basically he’s batman with the whole I am vengeance thing

Why they didn’t deserve to know about Salem's immortality; If later volumes after V4 are anything Ren isn’t exactly one of the most emotionally stable people to trust as his character during the Atlas arc is more or less akin to a whiny emotional b!7(# while trying to be emo and besides that just like Nora he had very little relevance or motive to be part of the Salem conflict

And Yes even though it was a Grimm that orphaned Ren I doubt Salem sent the Knuckleleave just to orphan Ren and in truth the destruction of Kuroyuri is ore or less akin to that of a wild animal attack, just a random act of nature that serves no purpose

Other

Qrow

Goal; Find friendship and protect the only real family he has left

Motive; Self worth and loneliness

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; Besides the fact that originally he was to use Ozpin’s teachings as a huntsmen to rob and kill innocent people

Ironwood

Goal; Ensure Atlas(the source of his power) is absolute and will endure

Motive; Obtaining power to feed his ego and hero complex

Why they didn’t deserve to know about salem’s immortality; to put it in short Ironwood only ever say the Salem conflict as a opportunity to increase Atlesian influence and superiority as well as a means to increase his own rule and power and being the opposite of everything that Ozpin stood for and tried to achieve

Sidenote; Ozpin wasn’t about seizing power or creating an unchallenged rule or seeking glory. Ozpin was doing what was best to help guide and nurture the good for the people of remnant, not to rule or control them with little care like Ironwood did.

As you can see a majority of Ozpin’s allies really shouldn’t have been involved in the first place due to just what kind of people they are and probably still are by the time of the show's present. But due to circumstances and the choices of a few people they are involved do to either need or accident regardless of who they are and what they hope to achieve which is enough just cause and reason for why Ozpin didn’t tell them about Salem’s immortality

Because it was none of their business and by far beyond any of their capabilities combined as in truth the conflict with Salem is truly only Oz’s. Those are my reasons why none of these people were told the truth about Salem’s immortality as well as why they didn’t need or deserve to know as well. With that I’ll be moving on to the next question.

How do you think he should have told them, and when?

I just gave a whole lot of reasons why they shouldn’t have been told and if you noticed Ruby isn’t apart of that list because out of all Oz’s allies I do see Ruby as being the first if only person that Ozpin would have told the truth about Salem’s immortality because unlike the others her goals and motives aren’t self serving or a means to an end.

Ruby is content with being a huntress and is more or less willing to spend her days as one knowing she will die but still helps people along the way regardless of what the situation is or what the outcome will be.

But if Oz had to tell them it would probably have happened after they secured the relic in Atlas first and probably before Ironwood's descent into warmongering which lead to his eventual insanity in V8.

But that is besides the point, for you see this conflict with Salem is and always has been Oz’s problem and his problem only and everyone else could only really do is lend a helping hand and nothing more. Because of the sad truth and reality, what can they do? It doesn’t matter if they are all powerful, if all the grimm are extinct or if the world is under their control. Salem and Oz are basically timeless beings now and everyone around them will die and everything they have achieved will be undone one way or another.

And even then Defeating and Killing Salem is not the end goal of Oz’s mission. Salem may be the biggest obstacle at the moment but her being out of the picture doesn't mean or guarantee that things will be better for everyone.

Regardless of whether or not the main cast succeed and defeat Salem and she finally dies, Oz will still be there, once all of RWBY & JNR die Oz will still be there, and in in either hundred or a thousand years later after all of this Oz will still be there and will still be there after until he either succeeds in his mission in uniting Remnant in peace or until the Ozma soul has become so stretched and diminished to the point that the soul may no longer be able to reincarnate and eventually fade away into non existence. No afterlife, no heaven or hell, no rest just gone.

It's a sad but likely outcome for Oz because the story of the show and overall conflict with Salem isn’t a tale about power or dominance or about hope and fellowship.

It is a tale about, Human evil and all that it encompasses which leads to the consequences that is the overall theme between Salem and Oz and those that become involved; A tale of Death and the desire for deathlessness.

For better or worse or for good or evil, all thing must come to an end in order for the tale to progress and move forward otherwise the great old tales will never end and history repeats itself and were back at square one
