... How many of you guys remember when i drew him a lot....? If you do y'all are the real ones! Anyways I sketched sleeveless Qrow to see if I still knew how to draw him? Glad to say.. yeah I still do! And comparing this to my 2020 sketches of him.. I feel a bit better seeing how much has changed in my art since then.

Ozpin’s age and Beacon

Questions asked by @angstandhappiness

Who do you think was the headmaster/headmistress of Beacon before Ozpin?

Hard to say as crwby really hasn’t gone into detail about their lore and history so it really is impossible to say who was in charge of beacon before Ozpin, heck they still haven’t even named the King of Vale so I doubt we will ever get a line of succession and names of all of the other headmasters before Oz but if I had to say who as a character and why they were chosen it would probably be someone who was part of the secret group and thus a follower of Ozpin that became headmaster either before or soon after the death of Ozpin’s predecessor as Glynda would post fall of beacon.

What kind of initiation test did they do for newcomers, and how did they use it to sort out the teams?

Same as the last question but as far as I’m aware it would probably have been the same initiation test that the main characters did in V1 as Glynda implies that this is more or less the standard by that time with the only difference being the choice of relics. Like there is nothing that implies that there was a different or other form of initiation prior to what we see the mains do in V1.

When was Ozpin chosen by the incarnation cycle, and at what age?

Hard to say but given key dialogue from Raven in V5 and the confirmation that Ozpin was Younger than Theodore who was stated to be in his mid to late 40’s (44-49) making him the youngest of the 4 current headmasters before the fall of beacon. And since Yang stated that he was the youngest ever to become a headmaster, implying that the average age is significantly older for someone to become a headmaster but would have to have been older than 21 years of age as he would have needed to graduate first.

But he would still be older than team STRQ as he was their headmaster during their time at Beacon so Older than 17 at the time by at least 4 years. And since it was confirmed that Ozpin spent some time traveling as the fairy tales of remnant book is a collection of stories Ozpin gathered from his journeys which he would later add them to Beacons library and academic curricular so at least a couple of years to travel and explore the known world (assuming he didn’t do much during his time as a student.)

So, with that in mind our possible age range for Ozpin is at least 5-7 years older than STRQ when they went to beacon for the first time (STRQ; 17/Oz; 22-24) and assuming that Raven had Yang at 23 and STRQ were at least 40-41 by the fall of Beacon that makes Ozpin's possible age at death at or around either 45 or 46 and still be younger than Theo who is nearing 50)

With this in mind and since there's no age criteria in the reincarnation cycle it is likely possible that Ozpin was likely chosen during but most likely before his time at beacon. So at or around 17 years of age did he become the man with two souls.

A continuation of Ruby tricks Jaune to marry her pls. Jaune try to go to Ozpin to see if he can annul the marriage, but is surprised that he can't and also the world marriage trigger some sort of vietnam memories. Sadly for him, Tai and Qrow are there to congratulate their daughter/niece for her marriage, things go south and now they are trying to beat him for trying to annul his marriage with Ruby

At Prof. Ozpin's office

Jaune: *Panic* Prof. Ozpin, you have to help me!!

Ozpin: Calm down Mr. Arc, take a deep breath, and tell me what's going on.

He takes a deep breath and calms down a bit.

Jaune: *Worry* I need your help Professor. Ruby set me up.

Ozpin: She set you up? What did she do?

Jaune: She told me that she wanted me to sign a card for her sister. She told me to sign on a piece of paper that was covered by another piece of paper, but with a hole for the signature.

Ozpin: Ok

Jaune: So I sign and then she reveals that it wasn't a letter to Yang!

Ozpin: Oh, what did you sign?

Jaune: Sign a marriage certificate.

After hearing that Prof. Ozpin turns white as a ghost.

Ozpin: Did you say... a marriage certificate?

Jaune: Yes, and I wanted to know if you could help me to annul it.

Ozpin breathing becomes heavier.

Ozpin: It's happening again.

Jaune: Professor?

Ozpin: *Panic* It's happening again!!!

Jaune: Professor Ozpin, calm down! Is something wrong?!

Ozpin: No you don't understand boy. There is no escape for this. I once wanted to escape and lost my life trying!!!

Jaune: You mean you almost lost your life, right?

Ozpin grabs him by the shoulders and looks him in the eye with an expression of terror.

Ozpin: Listen well, Jaune. Now that you've got time, run. Run as far as you can and never come back.

Jaune: You're scaring me Professor.

Ozpin: And you should be! Run now, don't waste time, you don't want it to be too late.

Jaune: Too late for what?

Glynda (speaker phone): Prof. Ozpin, Tai and Qrow came to visit. They say they want to meet their new son-in-law

Ozpin lets him go and walks to the phone.

Jaune: Prof. Ozpin?

Ozpin: It's too late.

Jaune: Sir?

Ozpin: It was a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Arc. *To the phone* Glynda, please let them in.

The office doors open and two people appear that Jaune has never met in person. They look like good people, but dangerous at the same time.

Tai: Hi, sorry to interrupt your chat.

Ozpin: Don't worry. How can I help you?

Qrow: We want to meet the brat who got his hands on my niece.

Tai: Do you know where we can find him? Or maybe you can call him?

Ozpin: There is no need to look for him or call him. He… *start to cry a little* He is right there. *Points at Jaune*

He then takes a handkerchief from his back pocket and wipes away his tears.

Ozpin: Please forgive me.

Qrow: Why are you crying?

Ozpin: Is nothing. It's better that I get out. Mr Arc, you will always be in my memory.

Ozpin walks out of the office, leaving Jaune alone with Ruby's Dad and Uncle.

Tai: I hope he's okay. But anyway, Jaune, right?

Jaune: *Worry* Yes sir!

Tai: Why did you marry my daughter?

Qrow: Yeah, why did you marry a girl younger than you? Big girls your age were too much for you?! Answer me!!!

Jaune: *Cover his face with his arms* Please don't hit me!

Tai: Whoa, calm down. We're here to congratulate the couple. Jaune, don't worry about him. He is very overprotective of my daughters. But I am interested to know why you two decided to get married so young. Couldn't wait until graduation? HAHAHA!

Jaune: Actually sir…

Tai: Please calle me Tai.

Jaune: Actually Tai, Ruby tricked me into marrying her. She made me sign a marriage certificate.

Tai: Oh she did that to you. My ex-wife did the same thing to me, but she did it differently if you know what I mean. *Wink*

Qrow: *quietly* Dear God.

Tai: *Smiling* So, are you planning to celebrate your marriage? Because if you want we can do it at my house. There is a beautiful view of the lake that will make you fall in love with it.

Jaune: Actually, sir, I'm trying to annul the marriage.

Tai: You're trying what?

Jaune: Annul the marriage. You see, I never wanted to marry Ruby.

Tai: *mad* Why not? Is she not good enough for you? Is that what you're saying?

Jaune: No no! She's a great girl, but…

Qrow: But what? Do you think you can get a better girl? Ruby is the sweetest and most beautiful girl that has ever existed in this world!

Jaune: Is not that! She set me up!!

Qrow: And what?! Don't you like the idea of having a family with her?!!

Tai: Does my daughter disgust you?!!!

Jaune: I did not say that!! I know she is beautiful and sweet!

Qrow: Then why do you want to annul the marriage?!

Jaune: Because she set me up!

Tai: Hold him Qrow, I'll teach this jerk a lesson.

Qrow: With pleasure.

@ozqrowweek 2023 Day 7: Free Day

And so we eventually reach the final day! For this day, I wanted to draw Oz and Qrow being old and happy 'cause it's what they deserveeee @yoomschoocs and I sure put a lot of love and effort into this day, so we hope you enjoy this one as much as we do! In this artwork, I did the sketch and lineart, and Yoom did the coloring and shading! You madlad ily <3 Here are some closeups with small explanations 'cause boi I packed a lot of thoughts and whatnots in here-

Naturally, as one gets older they get less mobile. For Oz it got to the point where he felt more comfortable going on longer walks with a wheelchair rather than just his cane.

Throughout the years they have made a lot of memories, so they made sure to highlight a few. The first picture is of Penny and Ruby on their honeymoon. The second is of the Bees schnees family, a picture with their kid Blue Jay. Next to that is Oz and Qrow with their service dog, Bolt, trained for anxiety and ptsd. In the bottom left, there is a picture of Glynda, Oscar and Ozpin. In which Oscar became the official headmaster of Beacon. Good job me boy! Then on the right there's a lil beeb Ozpin with his dad <3 On the cabinet, there's a birb that Oz crocheted for Qrow. Modelled after one of Qrow's past birbs, Petey. Next to him lie Oz and Qrow's childhood plushies. Oz's teddy bear, accompanied by Qrow's stuffed bird plushie, accurately named "Birdy".

Here, you can see jars of all kinds of things Qrow has collected from different areas. And some objects that Oz values. There are also pictures of young team rwby, Tai and Glynda. There is also a framed paw print of Bolt next to Tai's picture, with a pink Incarnation laying beside them. On the plank below there are pictures of team STRQ and Beacon.

Fair Game Week Day 2: First Meeting/Mishief

Clover chuckled. “Hello baby bird~.” He purred out, looking down at Qrow. All Qrow could do was glare up at him. The sounds of the kids fighting while here he was laying on the ground by some dirt bag was making his urge to drink something a little stronger after this, if he survived that is. Of course he was, he’d make sure of it, especially when he was definitely going to kick this guy’s ass, whoever he was.

Clover smirked. “I’m going to have fun with you.”

Heheheh so this would technically be day 1 for me, since I didn’t really get the chance to actually finish day 1- in my defense, I did start a bit late. Anyways, yes this is canon (until I say so) on how my villain!Clover and Qrow meet in this au. At the battle of Haven Academy. Clover (like the other villains,) are unaware that Qrow can transform into a bird, he’s just calling him baby bird cause he’s aware of Qrow’s name (and well he did hear Cinder say a bird nickname for him-)
