The designs for both characters in this AU belong to @yuli-the-bi (who I swear creates the most beautiful outfits for characters). And the scene depicted is from chapter 5 of Loose Thistles, by @whatacartouchebag (who uses such vivid imagery when writing)! Gods but this is probably my favourite AU, it's just so good! Fair game week 2023 Day 5: Magic/Traditions

Inspired by @whatacartouchebag ‘s amazing fic Icarus from a while back, which I definitely recommend if you missed it or want something to reread.

Just Qrow getting used to transforming himself to have wings as a human while pretending to be playfully annoyed at Clover playing with his wings.

Finally the last day of FGW 2023 is here!! Sorry for the long wait guys, life got pretty busy and we wanted to take our time on the last two days. We’re quite fond of them, and we hope you are too!

For this day, I did the sketch and lines, and @cara-kira did the coloring and the background. After all the Maleficent Qrow angst we felt it would be nice to explore the nicer moments that this au has to offer. :) Check out day 6 on Cara’s profile!

Fair Game Week Day 2: First Meeting/Mishief

Clover chuckled. “Hello baby bird~.” He purred out, looking down at Qrow. All Qrow could do was glare up at him. The sounds of the kids fighting while here he was laying on the ground by some dirt bag was making his urge to drink something a little stronger after this, if he survived that is. Of course he was, he’d make sure of it, especially when he was definitely going to kick this guy’s ass, whoever he was.

Clover smirked. “I’m going to have fun with you.”

Heheheh so this would technically be day 1 for me, since I didn’t really get the chance to actually finish day 1- in my defense, I did start a bit late. Anyways, yes this is canon (until I say so) on how my villain!Clover and Qrow meet in this au. At the battle of Haven Academy. Clover (like the other villains,) are unaware that Qrow can transform into a bird, he’s just calling him baby bird cause he’s aware of Qrow’s name (and well he did hear Cinder say a bird nickname for him-)
