12.) the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

I'm going to pick Orion right now even though this blog is more or less all about unpopular characters, ships and series or consistently misrepresented characters.

I feel like more people should invest in older comics and give them a try, particularly when the character has been consistently misrepresented or been done dirty by Tom King and his own little fan club (the other Tom). Orion is a complex character full of depth and growth that deals with the pulls of two worlds and is a metaphor for nurture overrides nature (where his mirror, Scott Free is the opposite and nature superseded nurture).

His solo by Walter Simonson still is in my top 3 best series ever produced along with Impulse.
