An incomplete but very angry diatribe about the missed potential of the Star Sapphires

So back in the day Geoff Johns and co decided to open up the Green Lantern mythos and add some more flavor and expand the concept of sci-fi tech powered by elemental emotion to more than just willpower. Which yes, is not an emotion, we ignore it and move on.

Anyway we got some really cool stuff! A rage tyrant fueled by experiencing incredible injustice on a personal and cosmic scale, whose vendetta twisted him into something terrible. An avatar of greed who was never allowed to have anything, not freedom, not family, not safety, who takes and takes and takes to fill a void that can never be satisfied. A priest who lost everything but presses on through his unshakable hope that the future can and will be better. It's a lot of fun stuff!

So in this great creative re-imagining, they had to do something clever and fun with the idea of an all female corps powered by love right? They took the opportunity to move past the purely romantic, sexual idea of love and the obsessed femme fatale archetype, because they had the chance to really explore different types of affection now that there were a bunch of different avatars with different stories to pull from right?

Right?

Nope! The only Sapphires we ever learn about are heartbroken over a cursed romance like Carol, grieving a dead fiance like Miri Riam, forcibly mind controlled to be one like Fatality, or just Miss Bloss who...kind of said she wanted to join up? No clue what her deal is, as far as I'm aware that's never really explained. And then we just never learn about anyone else, and still haven't. The hell is "The Lost Sapphire"? No idea, we'll likely never know.

It's frustrating because not only is this a glaring example of the depth of plotlines offered to women in comics compared to their male counterparts, but also a wild lack of imagination. Love is one of the most complicated emotions we experience. Fear, anger, hope, all pretty easy to quickly define. Love is multifaceted, cultural, incredibly contextual and a factor in so many different kinds of relationship. Just thinking logically it should be much easier to flesh out the motivations of a group pulling from such a nuanced source of power, versus something as clear-cut as rage. But no, the red lanterns got so many varied reasons for their rage, the male ones especially: Bleez being the woman was of course given the SA narrative, which I don't think is inappropriate on its own, that's an incredibly valid reason to be angry, but as the ONLY truly prominent female Red Lantern it's like...c'mon guys. But still, at least she and Atrocitus had different reasons for becoming what they are, and that variation was played for plot and drama.

But there's not a single Star Sapphire that personally champions something other than romantic love. And before you shoot me, it is explicitly mentioned that they DO protect other forms of love, so there's no reason for them to all be sexy and obsessed with kissing people. There are no Sapphires that are driven by:

The love of their children and families, even in a tragic sense, like Atrocitus and Saint Walker and Larfleez are...

Their love of their people, or their culture. It would have been interesting if Fatality was inducted BECAUSE of her pain at losing her world, but no, they just...replaced her anger with lovey vibes and called it a day.

Their love for nature. Not everyone is social, but social love isn't the only way to strongly experience the emotion.

Their love for themselves. Where is the fun narcissistic ass who loves their own self image to the point of getting powers? It would have been a fun twist and a cool way to get another villainous Sapphire if you wanted to.

Their platonic love of ANYTHING really. Are ace/aro people just...not capable of love then? It doesn't mean anything to be willing to drive cross country to help a friend move just because they needed it and you care? No? You need to be fucking for it to count?

It's like...fascinating if you really think about it. In this vast fantasy universe full of alien races with wildly different perceptions and life cycles, and where the other corps have plenty of non-human, truly alien looking members, that the women's only love corps is full of only hot hot scantily clad baddies. Most love that people experience in their lives isn't even romantic! You will have far more experiences with friends and family members and even loving strangers than you will have with romantic partners.

Like the reason is clearly sexism, duh, but we know sexism is bad, that's obvious, what I really want to make clear is how much this blatant, unexplored sexism just completely desecrated the potential of the worldbuilding here.

From another angle even: Let's say this this WAS the sex and romance all the time corps. Let's say that you wanted to keep it all women. I hate the idea that women are capable of love in a way that men aren't, that's such a bad take and just regressive and unhelpful, but let's just play ball for a moment. They're not even hot? Their designs are such ridiculously narrow versions of feminine attractiveness that they're not even successful at really being mass appeal sexy. I haven't even reached the point of complaining about the fatphobia and criminal lack of different body types yet, I'm still just saying that from the standpoint of fantasy sexy it's not even good at being stereotypical offensive fantasy sexy. It's just boring! They're all so visually boring! You can be scantily clad and still have an interesting and coherent character design! But that is not what they gave these women! They actually redesigned the classic Star Sapphire costume and made it MORE sexist and boring:

Yeah it was cheesy but it was also cute and fun? The design is playful classic sci-fi girl and this is when she was still a dangerous unhinged villain. Its fun to look at and feels tonally coherent next to Green Lantern.

And then they just...

No actually, I will not explain this one, you have eyes.

And yeah they fixed her costume finally,

But! She's still stuck as Hal Jordan's romantic punching bag, and has not gotten to have any new adventures on her own.

So.

What I'm saying is it's a flop all around. 2/10, and only because despite everything Fatality STILL managed to serve. I actually think that all of the corps have been poorly used since blackest night, even the greens actually, but they never even gave the Sapphires a chance. They last showed up in...a WW annual I think? During the whole dark gods event, they needed Diana to help them fight the evil god of love, and there was a guy in the corp finally, and they talked about sisterhood and then we haven't heard a peep from them since. I think Carol might be due to get her ring back in the GL ongoing but she's not really been treated well so far, so I'm not hopeful for anything fresh and well reasoned.

So my lovely ladies (and that one unnamed guy), until they let you get it together it may be time to

I was feeling sillay and my tism was acting up so i made this!

This is me having fun,people with weird anti-selfship mentalities please just scroll past

Unlike most other sidekicks,Summer Kent wasn't introduced in a run of his mentor to be brought back later.Instead,he premired in his own series in 1983 with the writers purpose with him being to show what it would be like for Clark to take Bruce's route and adopt an orphan to raise them as both his own child and a protege.He gained what were called 'mixed reviews' but in reality was just a mix of love from black,latino,queer and autistic comic fans,female ones especially,and hatred from bigoted ones.Summer has gone through multiple,let's say,'seasonal changes' personality and design wise and this was made to help you read on when,how and why!

Sparks:Secret Origins-The solo series in question!43 solid issues,a great introduction into his character and let's you get a good grip on what he was like as Sparks,as well as his familial relathionships and longest running friendships

The New Teen Titans-A major recurring character in this run due to Dick and Kory's mentorship of him(be warned of secondhand embarrasment when it comes to his self-aware crush on Dick showing and him thinking he's just jealous of Kory when he's actually crushing on her too)

A Death in the Family-For the final interactions between him and Jason before Jason's death

The Last Day of Summer-His accidental death at the hands of Mr Freeze,DC's response to people saying Sparks and Robin don't work without eachother

Ember's Ashes-His ressurection and journey to herohood.70 issues of character development and not a single page was wasted as he grew from an angry,violent and gothic little girl to a bubbly and openly kind young adult with a love for femininity in a transgender way as he realized his genderfluidity.This coming of age tale includes his first relathionship with none other than Rose Wilson,Deathstroke's daughter and the fourth Ravager,which ends on odd but good terms.(See also Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen as they heavily overlap with this run,including him gaining his kryptonian name as 'Va-El',given to him by a newly ressurected Clark)

Steel(1994)-Same situation as NTT,him being mentored by the protagonist and appearing as a major supporting character as a result

Superboy(1994)-Summer trifels with his greatest battle yet:Being the oldest sister to a teenage boy.Hilarity,sibling and parental angst and bonding ensue in this series,along with Summer teaching Kon-El how to make his way in the world and beating up a couple of predators in the process and him giving him some Kryptonian hybrid powers tips in thanks.Here and in Ember's Ashes is when the rest of the Superkids(Chris/Lor-Zod,Mia/Cir-El and Jon Lane or 'Laney')join the Superfamilia

Young Justice(1998)-44 to 45 and 48 to 55.Pops up in World without Young Justice as otherworld Jason's s/o,a childhood friends to lovers hero/civillian romance,and the gang convinces Kon to get him to tag along as a 'dorky babysistter' as the Boy of Steel put it after seeing how strong he is in action.This is the first time Summer thinks about mentoring younger heroes other than his adoptive siblings

Robin(1993) and Batgirl(2000)-128 to 130 and 26-38 + 53-62.Summer said 'fuck Tim,Jason's MY Robin' before they even met and Stephanie didn't get any better off until them and Cass decided to team up and now they're girl best friends(actually platonic for them and Summer,the regular meaning for Stephcass)

Lost Days-He's on Jason's mind a lot during this run if Jaysumm is your thing

Supergirls-Starring the Superfam girls as an ensemble cast,this rotates between 'Girl Power media that's actually pretty feminist and fun' and 'Weird,weird and MORE weird'(and that adds on to the feminism and fun).This includes a special crossover issue where Summer and Mia get Cassie Sandsmark to re-embrace her butchness

Under The Red Hood-Sparks and Robin finally reunite but not like they expected!Summer is heartbroken at his best friend's new found darkness and wants to save him from it but Jason just wants to patch things up.And they both get what they want in:

Ember/Red Hood-World's...strangest...ROMANCE⁉We get to see this lovebird and loverfang take the first steps to finally getting together in this 29 issue wildride!Much romance,comedy,inner torment and rubbing off on eachother(not like that!!Mind out of the gutter,people!)gets done but sadly no actual kissing

Tiny Titans-Shows up pretty often thanks to being Superman's oldest kid and the second Superkid to debut in canon,usually as an mc and is in a comedic love square with Jason,Eddie and Rose as the center

We are Robin-3-9.Gets very close to the 12 year old Duke Thomas and to his gang to a lesser extent and is the reason he gets adopted by Bruce and made the official 5th Robin(Overlaps with Ember/Red Hood)

The Bird and The Dragon-Mini 13 issue series of him and Damian becoming found siblings and him Damian's first friend(Overlaps with Ember/Red Hood and Batgirl(2009))

Batgirl(2009)-Appears in every other issue so it's best to just read all 60 of them!Many epic black girl friendship momence between Summer and Stephanie + Jason comes in from time to time to cause problems on purpose(and to flirt with Summer)

Red Hood and the Outlaws-Summer finally joins a team and never like he thought he would.Jason's influence on him turned him into a different person again like when they were sidekicks but this time making him into the brightly destructive vigilante Ignite,hated by Metropolis once more for his antiheroics and turning over a new leaf because of it!This 92 issue series brings back familiar faces from Jason and Summer's pasts and tons of new ones,stacked with fantasy elements,trauma,jokes,epic fights,genuine bonding that a good chunk of them don't care to admit to,fanservice that caters to bisexuals and Jaysumm's canonization!But only near the end because ✨drama✨

The lineup for this team is:Jason Todd as Red Hood and briefly a Star Sapphire,Eddie Bloomberg as Red Devil,Rose Wilson as Ravager and eventually Willow,Summer Kent as Ignite,Artemis of Bana-Mighdall simply as 'Artemis',Kyle Rayner as Green Lantern,Pepper Jackson(@moonage-gaydream)as Star Sapphire and Thaddeus Thawne as Inertia.The team technically disbands by the end but they all remain best friends and keep in touch!

Gotham Academy:Second Semester and Gotham Academy/Lumberjanes-Major support once more(and main character in the latter)but this time finally in the mentor role!Maps and he in particular are linked(This is a special tool that will help us later)

All New Teen Titans-Damian's Teen Titans generation has come and their mentors are Jason still as Red Hood,Duke as The Signal,Stephanie freshly new at being Batwoman and Summer as Superman,taking over his Papí's mantle in the meantime as Clark is in a coma from rescuing Jon from Ultraman.Damian's lineup is him(Shadowbird),Maya Ducard(Nobody),Surren Darga(Fang),Jon Kent(Superboy),Nell Little(Batgirl),Maps Mizoguchi(7th Robin),Colin Wilkes(Abuse)and Kathy Branden(Beacon)

Their adventures are much more light-hearted than the Outlaws' but no less impressive and their bonds are all over the place in both bad and good ways and by the end,they've become family(Jason and Summer taking on the 'Team Parents' role and with additional romances in Damimaps,Surnell and Mayakathy).This run is 55 issues and lasts two years in-universe

New Ember Days-An ongoing slice of life epilogue that shows him being as beloved as Clark after going back to Ember,with a slightly adjusted costume(thank Jason for the pink domino mask,same as the black one for Ignite)and eventually comes up to him and Jason having their first bio kid after getting married,a girl named October with a mix of Kryptofang and Lazarus Pit dna and a bright attitude and love for most things.Action is frequent in this one and as always,humor is too

Wayne Family Adventures-He gets passing mentions in the earlier episodes and debuts in Dirty Little Secret,where Damian discovers him and Jason are dating while looking for Jason's weakness and returns in Belonging to comfort Stephanie after a call from her and does the same for Jason in Strong Enough while visiting Wayne Manor,slowly becoming a major recurring character from then on

Dead Sidekicks Force-Completely optional,this is an au that dives into what would've happened if Summer,Jason,Stephanie and Damian got even closer earlier and decided to form the titulary team as based on them being 'Dead Sidekicks' and recruting honorary members as they went along.Similar to the animated Teen Titans adaption in tone and to a lesser extent in artstyle too

That's about it for comics but for animation and video game fans,he also has big roles in the Utrh movie adaption,Ditf 2020,Lego Batman:Family Matters,the aformentioned Teen Titans cartoon(which has Dragon Rose as canon since they're both Dick's age in it and there being no Jason),the Injustice game series and Lego DC Supervillains and will be in season 2 of Batwheels along with Clark and Lois!

So about John giving the sapphire to Jamie in 7x02… I genuinely yelled ‘yes, thank you!’ out loud. Of all the things that I dislike in the books, John giving Hector’s ring to Jamie is the one moment that made me abandon any and all regard for canon. To me, it just seemed like John would absolutely not do that. I also think that scene is extremely badly written in the book, which is just… I don’t know. It just feels like a bit of a fuck you to the feelings John ever had for Hector, and to their story in general. Like it could have been intended as John finally letting go of Hector, but it felt so meh! Like it wasn’t even a big deal (I mean wtf happened to “some people you grieve over forever”??). So the show having it be Jamie’s sapphire that John gives away was an improvement.

Was it changed because the casual viewer would have no idea about the sapphire ring or about Hector? Presumably, yes.

But I also think John giving back Jamie’s sapphire makes soooo much more sense. Like the whole “you thought it could be of use to you one day” just makes sense for the story. And it’s way more dramatic than the version in the books.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m glad the show got one (1) thing right.

Edit: This may have been a Selfship event story, but it is also a major part of the Sapphire Heartverse: Sugar Crash Void Bash canon!

Day 1: Share your very first romantic kiss

Well, it's already known how Vanilla and Tippy had their first kiss! (here!) But here's a short story on how Vanilla and Tippy had their first kiss with Bel!

It's a crisp, calm, delightful autumn evening. The three gentlemen are walking down the sidewalk, taking in the scenery, breathing in that nice fall air, watching the leaves twirl off the branches of trees, and… they're trying to find a way to break the silence! Bel glances up at Vanilla, who's in the middle of the other two. Xe locks eyes for a brief moment with the tall man and averts xis gaze to the trees beside xem. Vanilla, who has been the unfortunate victim of having to wear pants this season, puts his hands in his pockets and looks down at Tippy,

"It's quiet. Pretty peaceful out this evening, hm?"

"Oh yeah." Tippy smiles. Bel wants to chime in and say something. They're a little nervous because of everything that happened about a year ago… they used to be influenced by an evil gemstone…and yet these two not only wanted to be their friend but also take them out on a date. Tippy looks over at Bel, noticing xe's a little shy at the moment. He pipes up and smiles at Bel,

"So, what are you gonna get at the cafe, Bel? Are you more of a sweets kind of person or savory?"

"Me? Oh, huh… I mean, like, I do enjoy a nice treat here and there. But, like, I guess I could just go with anything, you know? I mean, I can be pretty picky, not going to lie about that," Bel chuckles and touches his own chest, gesturing to himself, "Okay, honestly, I am a more than just a little picky… but, I'm willing to try almost anything once honestly. Ahahahaha!" Vanilla tries to add to the conversation, but Bel continues, "Sometimes I even think about trying random foods from all around the world, like, I'll probably try to do a little country to country taste testing, you know? Maybe, like, get one thing from each country-" Bel puts their hand up, "WAIT. Maybe I could get one of the same thing from each country I go to. Or wait, maybe I should get something different-? I don't know, it's all so confusing, like-" Bel laughs and looks over at Vanilla and Tippy.

He instantly feels self conscious. Shit, I'm talking too much about myself again. Why do I keep doing this? Bel thinks to himself. He clears his throat,

"Uh hum…yeah…"

"I think that would be fun, heheh!" Tippy grins at xem. Vanilla nods,

"Hey, we're here." He opens the cafe door for the other two fellas.

"Thank you so much, Vans! Oh you're such a sweetie pie." Tippy touches Vanilla's arm as he walks inside. Bel checks xis nails as xe walks in, but catches xemself,

"O-oh! Thank you, Nilla. You always were the better servant boy." Bel attempts to make a little joke, but as that sentence came out of their mouth, they instantly felt like a jerk saying it, "Wait, I'm sorry, I didn't mean that in a bad way."

"You're fine." Vanilla tells them.

As the three get to their table next to the window, they all admire the autumn view. The leaves blow in the slight breeze. Tippy takes a sip of his pumpkin spiced hot chocolate, then squeaks.

"Sweetie, are you okay?" Vanilla looks concerned.

"Yeah, I just got my tongue burned!" Tippy says. "At least I can just lick the whipped cream until it cools off though, heheh."

"OMG, that reminds me of this one time back when I was working at that crusty old mansion, one of the guys that used to work there found a scorpion? And he like, grabbed it? I was like, 'what are you doing put that thing down right now' and he was like, 'watch this' and I was like 'okay' and he freaking… puts this creature in his mouth and it like, bites his tongue- well, it didn't bite his tongue, it stung it," Bel interjects. As xe continues xis story, Vanilla daintily puts a spoonful of sugary whipped cream covered in caramel and chocolate sauce in his mouth. The other two listen to Bel talk and tell stories. Not only about his time working at the mansion, but also about what happened while he was under the jewel's influence.

Bel suddenly realizes, after about 20 minutes of talking nonstop, that they didn't let either of the two say a single word. They feel self conscious once again and try to wrap up their story. They end up stumbling over their words and embarrassing themself. They sip their equally as sugary coffee and stare down at their drink.

Tippy's brows frown, understanding what Bel might be feeling right now. He just has a lot to say… maybe the reason he talks so much is because he just needs somebody to listen… Tippy thinks to himself. Vanilla isn't very talkative and he's introverted, where Bel is extroverted, and Tippy is ambiverted. Unbeknownst to Bel, Tippy has empathy for xem while Vanilla is happy to listen to other people talk. It's true that Bel has some problems involving selfishness, carelessness, and the need for popularity…but all of that stems from poor self esteem yet at the same time, his inflated self image.

Tippy reads them like a book,

"Bel?"

"Yuh huh?" Xe looks at Tippy curiously.

"You're not bothering us, you know. You can talk as much as you'd like." Tippy gives xem a gentle and knowing smile. Vanilla nods,

"It's true. I know back when we disliked each other, I would say pretty nasty things. We were both at each other's throats… I want you to know that I take it all back. I don't hate you anymore, and I genuinely enjoy your company, Beleza."

Bel looks back and forth between the two fellas. He smiles and politely nods his head, then takes a drink from his coffee. Tippy softly touches the back of their hand,

"We mean it. You fit right in with us, you know? You're always welcome at our house."

"He's right. We're misfits. Look at us, we were all outcasts and outsiders. We didn't work at Lord D- I mean, Dio's mansion for no reason. If you ask me, I would call that fate." Vanilla tells them, "Bel, it's true. Anyone who has ever worked at Dio's mansion is an outcast in some way or another. But we found security in each other. We found comfort and safety in one another. To hell with the ones who shunned us for who we are."

"Well said, Vans!" Tippy lightly claps, then he jokes at Bel, "You can tell he's a little passionate about this kind of stuff, haha!"

"I guess you guys are right… ugh, it just… I dunno." Bel sighs and looks at his coffee. Vanilla reaches for Bel's hand and caresses the back of it softly,

"You're always welcome in our home, Beleza. We mean that."

As the three of them walk out of the cafe, all smiles and laughs, Tippy lightly bonks his head on Bel’s shoulder. Bel giggles and playfully bonks xis head on top of Tippy’s. Vanilla smiles at the other two and teasingly bumps his shoulder into Bel. They look up at him, give a shy chuckle and touch his bicep,

“You guys are, like… really affectionate. I kind of figured since I’ve seen you two nuzzling and kissing all over each other all the time, ahahahaha!”

“Yeah.” Vanilla rubs his neck with a slight smile, “It’s funny. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic. I never thought I would find a kindred spirit such as Tippy… and hm, now you.”

“Nilla! You should have known I can never get enough attention.” Bel teases.

They all walk back to Vanilla’s black SUV. Bel feels a great sadness wash over him, he really enjoyed spending more time with his potential partners. Vanilla opens the passenger’s side for Tippy, then the middle door for Bel.

“I guess it’s time for you to take me back to the hotel, huh?” Bel gives them both a bittersweet smile. Vanilla and Tippy look at xem forlornly, then at each other. Vanilla speaks,

“That is correct… but it doesn’t mean we can’t still hang out for a while after that.” Bel looks up into Vanilla’s eyes, his smile still a little sad,

“I would really like that.”

The three sing along to songs and make jokes the entire way back to the hotel where Bel is staying for a while. Xe takes them both up to his room, where Tippy proceeds to leap face first on xis bed and lays there for a while.

Bel and Vanilla both look at each other with an amused face, then burst out laughing. Bel jumps on the bed next to him, and Vanilla just sits down daintily on the bed. Tippy sits up and giggles with Bel. They both end up playfully wrestling with each other while Vanilla watches. He covers his mouth and chuckles at the two goofing around. Bel holds onto Tippy and watches him try to wriggle free,

“Hey! No fair, you’re stronger than me!” Tippy laughs. Bel smirks,

“Well, maybe you should hit the gym, little man!”

Vanilla chuckles at the two of them then crawls over,

“Don’t make me come over there. I’ll sit on you both!”

“Sounds good to me.” Tippy teases. Bel playfully tugs on Vanilla’s sweater,

“Why don’t you join us, big guy?”

Vanilla leans over and lays next to them both. After a lull in the conversation, Bel speaks up,

“So… um…” They lean up and look over at the other two, “Ugh, this is so awkward…”

“What’s up, Bel?” Tippy asks.

“Well, like… you guys are so cute.” Bel covers his face, “I want to ask… for… like… a kiss… or something.”

Vanilla leans up and gently takes Bel’s hands away from their face. The two of them stare deeply into each other’s eyes. Vanilla lightly touches Bel’s chin and tilts his head,

“I’ve been thinking the same thing… Beleza…”

Tippy covers his mouth and watches the other two share a tender moment. Bel feels his cheeks get hotter as Vanilla leans in with his eyes closed. Their lips meet finally. Bel feels Vanilla’s warm, glossed lips, the taste of vanilla sugar flavored lip gloss glides over his mouth. Bel holds onto Vanilla’s shoulders and kisses him back. Vanilla slowly pulls away and gazes down at Bel with hooded eyelids. Bel is in a daze from kissing this man who he finds to be very very handsome. Vanilla smirks and gives a low chuckle,

“You look pleased…”

“O-oh! Yeah, I… oh my god, I just… that was uh… yeah.” Bel covers xis mouth, still tasting Vanilla’s lip gloss. Xe glances over at Tippy, wanting to kiss him as well. Silently, the two of them make their way to each other. Tippy leans up and Bel leans in. Their lips lock, even more gloss gets mixed in. The taste of Tippy’s raspberry flavored gloss glides over Bel’s lips, making xem lightly lick Tippy’s bottom lip. Tippy gets surprised but welcomes it, kissing xem deeper. Bel melts into Tippy’s kiss and softly touches his arm. The two of them pull away for breath, looking each other in the eyes. Bel averts his gaze, catching his breath a bit,

“Wow… you both really know how to kiss a guy, huh?”

Tippy smiles and wraps Bel up in a hug, which Bel enthusiastically returns, falling backwards and having Tippy lie on top of him. Vanilla jokingly lies on top of the other two, not putting his full weight on them though.

“Waugh! Vans, you’re crushing us!” Tippy teases him.

“I’m crushing you both with my love.” Vanilla kisses Tippy’s cheek and leans down to kiss Bel’s forehead. Tippy and Vanilla end up peppering Bel’s face with kisses on either side of his face, making him giggle.

“Oh yeah, I could get used to this!” Bel squeaks with delight.

his nice kindness..... friendly boy swag... to me he watches those minecraft parkour videos that have like commentary of Something in th background (like not youtube drama commentary ones. but more like reddit discussions with text-to-speech or like someone talking about a game or how a speedrunner faked a speedrun. yk what i mean!) and so hes just Really good at minecraft parkour.

hes also really good at builds nd shit and grinds a lot! but just dabbles in everything else. granted hes good at the few things hes learned. PvP scares him and also he doesn't engage in it much because bad internet (i am projecting. these are the reasons i cant do pvp.....) but if he could do pvp hed be a creeper minecrafts grim reaper blowin up blocks like al-qaeda

i cant explain why he reminds me of Snake animal crossing. maybe its just because snake animal crossing is my best friend(nate is everyone best friend guy. hes friendly).... i have very fond memories of him from when i played new leaf!! or maybe its just those silly eyes of his honestly
