For Fake Peppino, have you heard about Fake Peppina? She made her first appearance in Recd's Lap 3 Cover, and entered the mod called "Peppina Ramen over Peppino." She is only seen in the opening before your boss fight. And in the version 3.8 update, Fake Peppina was now a boss while you're in the background of her boss battle, The Crumbling Tower of Pizza, and the ending of the mod.
('Fake Peppina' does not exist in this AU, and certainly not in the way described - bc that 1. Assumes I (Bean the mod/artist) has seen or was even aware of these (I didn't know about them until this ask), 2. Assumes that the cover and mod are canon here, and their story events played out - which is not the case bc, again I was not aware of them, and I don't take ideas from fan creations such as mods (at least not intentionally fsdklsdf), and 3. Implies that the characters are aware they are in a game and are aware of mods/other fan creations - they're not jlkgsfd
Even regardless of that specific mod, there still is no 'Fake Peppina' or a 'real Peppina' or any genderswapped variation of the characters - I am not a huge fan of genderswapping and that is not the story I want to do
There are plenty of female clones here, but they are their own characters and not just 'Fake Peppina', so if you are looking for specifically her, then you'll have to go somewhere else to find that - there are plenty of creators who do genderswapped AUs etc out there!)

i just read your tags on a post from a few days ago and?? do you think the tridentarii aren’t identical twins?
My instinctual answer to this question is "You think the Tridentarii aren't fraternal twins?" Because making the snap judgement that they must be identical is just not as intuitive as this ask is implying it is. They're two different builds and color palettes, and Coronabeth has a different hair texture, so it really surprises me that them being "identical twins" is the assumption to which everyone defaults.
The thing that muddies this discussion for me is that, when people on the internet ask whether or not the Tridentarii are "identical", I have no idea if they mean "they look the same!" or "I headcanon that they are the result of a single zygote splitting into two embryos and developed identical genes!" Because those are two different things, and they involve making two different arguments. I get the sense that when people assume the Tridentarii are "identical", they are saying 1) they are monozygotic twins, but also 2) they would have the same phenotype and be indistinguishable if Ianthe didn't have necromancy eating her titties and muscles or whatever. (Which is also a silly thing to assume, because necromancy doesn't eat your pigmentation, but whatever.) Admittedly, Macaroni and Cheese being different shades of blonde is what made me assume they were fraternal, and that isn't a safe assumption for me to have made because genetics just aren't that simple (see this example of monozygotic twins being born with two dramatically different levels of melanin). The other factor here is, y'know, Ianthe being a necromancer, something hazily theorized in-universe to be genetic (something which, to be fair, we don't know for sure, see this fan theory), and if that is true, boom, there you go, fraternal.
But the other thing we have to consider is that the Tridentarii aren't, like, real. We are talking about fictional characters, so where you or I come down re: their genetic similarities will only matter insofar as it changes the meaning of the narrative. If Ianthe and Coronabeth are "identical" in the genetic sense, what does that mean for their story? Does it make any difference? Is there a purpose to me writing this dumb multiparagraph essay in response to a two-line ask on tumblr, other than to be contrarian and jerk myself off??
I mean, I think so. I think Ianthe's and Coronabeth's story is defined by them not being like the other. They are the two faulty halves of a theoretical complete heir; the platonic ideal of the Princess of Ida, with charisma and likeability and necromancy, too. Their parents "wanted a matched set", but they didn't get one. Them trying to correct this discrepancy with lies and secrecy that isolates them from everyone but each other fits in perfectly with all the other frictions of being a fraternal twin. Like, what's the point of you both? Why'd your mother go through all that trouble to get a pair of shitty normal siblings? And it's easy to internalize that, too, that expectation of unity contrasted with that reality of duality. We are one unit, but you are not like me. If we got here at the same time, why can you do things I can't. Well, fine, then, you have your Thing, I'll have my Thing, too; we're better than a matched set, we complete each other. Hang on, why does your Thing let you do something I can't? Where are you going. Take me with you.
Ianthe and Coronabeth are a set trying to be a match, and they can't make it happen, and it drives them so crazy that Corona would rather be killed and eaten than have Ianthe go do something she can't participate in.
TL;DR: Ianthe and Coronabeth are not literally identical (they are not physically indistinguishable). We don't know if they're genetically identical (monozygotic twins as opposed to dizygotic), and the distinction has not become relevant in any of the books thus far. AND I think considering them to be genetically identical makes their story thematically weaker when compared to the alternative. Therefore, I consider them functionally fraternal until Tamsyn Muir herself says that they aren't, and I furthermore remain flabbergasted that anyone in the fandom would consider that a weird interpretation.

george did not write “if i were a woman id be cersei” and vice versa as correct statements imo. while i do believe that their respective trials that they faced as a result of their gender had grave effects on them as people and shaped them into much of what they are, i still think there are fundamental differences in nature. like this is demonstrated by how differently they acted as little children (treatment of tyrion, murder of melara, etc). i think they have some core distinctions. especially with what they personally desire the most above all else and their differing levels of empathy. this was no doubt influenced by their experiences and societal roles as well but i do still think it is part of their nature too. they have some very interesting and important similarities, but they are by no means the exact same only distinguished by experiences. i think it is always a mix of nature and nurturer, like your experiences can suppress or intensify certain qualities that you have, for better or worse. they have agency. they responded to their trauma in their own way. the twins not being the same person on a fundamental level is meant to be subversive. put in opposite positions i do not think we would have the exact same people just switched. like this feels like it is emphasized in the text to me

First of all, thanks so much for sharing your books recs and reviews. I love reading your blog (especially since I did not find many books blog that as good as you in tumblr). 💐🥰
Can I ask your opinion on something? So, I saw some discussion on why shounen series (or series with strong bromance vibes) have more romantic vibes than BL manga/mahwa (MLM books). (Sorry, do you like any BL manga/manhwa or shounen series?) And I kinda agree. But what do you think?
Sorry for this random ask, feel free if you want to ignore this ask....
wow thank you! i love sending my bookish posts into the void and i love it even more when the void expresses its appreciation haha
i didn't know about this discourse but in general i agree with the controversial (?) opinion that non-canon queer-coded or homosocial relationships oftentimes make for more compelling ships than their canon counterparts. one could argue that it's bc something that is just out of reach feels more appealing than something that you already have but in regards to my personal frustrations when reading romance stories and plotlines it often comes down to how the relationship of characters who the author already decided are going to fall in love has little room to breathe beyond that - the sword of damocles of romance is constantly hanging over them and determining their entire narrative. there's little intrigue in that bc when you're an experience reader or a genre-savvy media consumer you know exactly how it's gonna go, bit by bit.
furthermore, i think it's interesting that women and people who used to identify as women when they were young are likelier to write an explicit romance or a canon queer relationship bc they have been socialized to value that type of fiction and in doing that they will, whether by intention or not, regurgitate all the possible tropes and clichées which doesn't necessarily make their original story a compelling romance. by contrast, people who grew up socialized as men have been taught to suppress emotions and value no homo male bonds with their bros which is why a stereotypical cishet male sff author will 1) write an absolutely yucky romance for his male lead and his female love interest, 2) rather die than acknowledge that queerness exists and 3) pour all the most profound and intense feelings his conscious and subconscious mind is capable of into the depiction of the male lead's relationship with his male sidekick. ambiguity tends to make things more interesting so no wonder people will feel more drawn to a ship that is ambiguously homosocial in eve kosofsky sedgwick's sense rather than to a ship that is merely a love story between two people of the same gender.
which brings me to my last (more personal) point: as someone who has been socialized as a woman i am slightly obsessed with romance. however, as someone who identifies as aroace i don't find most romance books or even romance subplots relatable or compelling. this contradiction is a source of constant frustration that accompanies my reading experience - i often seek out romance books bc i do so enjoy a good love story and end up disappointed and alienated most of the time bc of this built in failure to connect with fiction that is written by allos for allos. for example, i have tried to take refuge in historical mm romance bc i figured that neither comphet nor modern identity politics would spoil the magic of two people falling in love for me in this case. however, having read quite a few of those, i have noticed this compulsion the authors have to 1) let the reader know by any means necessary and as soon as possible that the characters in question are in fact into men and 2) state explicitly that these men find each other attractive - a compulsion that speaks to the allo experience of being aware (most of the time) what type of person you're attracted to and being able to interpret a perceived connection as romantic or sexual attraction almost immediately. a compulsion which i, as an aroace reader, find utterly bizarre and terribly frustrating. not to shame allos for how their sexuality works or anything, but i think trying to convince the reader that two characters are into each other without relying on these two conveniences would be a good writing exercise.
by comparison, a relationship that is just allowed to develop without its participants interpreting it as a romance (bc the author who wrote it didn't intend them to at all) feels like freedom. yes, it's unfortunate that they won't kiss or fuck in the end of all that quality time but ah well, i can go to ao3 for that. and yes, if they're not canonically queer it's not real rep etc etc but i think that by now we have all understood that media consumption is not activism and queer rep in your favorite tv show will not bring about the age of tolerance. what i'm talking about in this post is why it sometimes feels like queer fiction fails to depict queerness and romance in a compelling way.

I <3 transmasc Wendy because it adds another thing to the kid who does not know how to handle anything being thrown into everything pile but instead of a thing like dead sister it's the prospect that he kind of likes having short hair and the idea of being a guy and it still makes him feel like the world is ending until suddenly the ppl around him are just like fine with it and everything is like cool actually and he melts over that too until finally he's just a normal baby trans person and can get back to being bad at coping with his other hashtag issues again
#rat rambles#starve posting#like I do have dead serious wendy trans thoughts tm even some that actually relate to his quotes high bar I know gkfndkd#its just so fun reading him as a trans egg thats one breakdown away from being smashed#and also gives me some yummy tasty thoughts abt both wendy and abby and the inivertable fact that as time goes on the only remnant of#abby's face is going to shift and change more until it can no longer even be a reminder of what was lost#which must be a Horrifying idea to wendy even if chances are he hasn't rly internalized this concept yet#and for abby especially if you're like me and go for a more silhouette style ghost design for her youve gotta imagine how fucky it is to#watch your twin grow up and change in ways you never will#Im also a agender abby who will likely never realize believer because shes just like younger me fr#like shes low key just me as a little kid but without the anxiety disorder#anyways back to the topic of wendy genderism Im honestly surprised Ive never seen a he/him wendy hc before#Im not surprised at not finding any trans guy wendys but there rly isnt much variety in nonbinary wendys despite it being fairly common#I just like trans guy wendy cause he gives me those vibes#its the weird little girl to cringe fail trans man pipeline or smth idk#give him a couple years eventually he'll be a grimy lil freak of a teenage boy#if abby didnt die and knew abt gender stuff itd still take her 30 years minimum to even consider she might be not a girl maybe#not because she's hard in denial abt gender stuff shes just is in the classic headspace of 'well I dont Think I care so I must be cis ig'#same with my aro abby hcs but walter is super not helping#as Ive said before they are aro echo chamber besties dont try to tell them romance is real they will not believe you#hey better then whateve the fuck wendy would have to go through if one of the trans men around him offered solidarity#I would rather die than get advice from wilson are you kidding me#the only somewhat normal trans guy there is warly but hes french so it cancels out

It was a crisp, frosty morning following an evening of light snowfall when the former nanny Melita arrived at court to visit her brother Akakios, and for this disguise Aziraphale made sure to change some garments around, wearing some new clothes instead of that old favorite himation or the pleated chiton. After all, humans loved new clothes and if Aziraphale was going to be perfectly honest, so did he. Or she, for that matter, as she was now, at least for the afternoon.
As she walked down the colonnade toward the inner palace, she paused to glance at a courtyard. The pebbled mosaics could not be seen under a shroud of white, and the overcast sky seemed almost white as well, shrouded by bright-lit clouds.
She wondered when the blue sky would come back, when the earth would shake off its monotonal winter himation and trade it for a new green one, pinned with golden flowers draped about the rounded shoulders of hills.
“Oi! Melita!” Aziraphale looked up, hearing the sound of a familiar voice.
Crowley greeted her, taking her hands as if they truly were siblings. He was wearing that dashing military-style chlamys again and it sent a little flutter of envy through her, seeing him standing so tall and handsome. “Long time no see.”
Aziraphale smiled up at him, her lips tense. “Brother! You’re looking well.”
“How’s the family?”
“Oh, you know how they are,” Aziraphale said, looking around to see who was watching. “Numerous and quarrelsome...”
And then perhaps by chance or perhaps not, the colonnade quickly emptied itself as the humans around them left, going on about their own devices that just happened to be anywhere but in this particular courtyard, moving as fast as they could possibly go without setting off a panic.
“Right.” Crowley looked around as Aziraphale took her hands away reluctantly. “You ready to do this?”
“Yes, of course.” As Aziraphale rubbed her hands together, her eyes were fixed on Crowley’s fingers. “It’s not that hard.”
“Thought I’d ask you if there was something I could do to help. After all you’re doing this favor for me.”
“Just part of the job,” Aziraphale demurred. “It’s my responsibility, after all. I’ll be fine, you don’t need to worry about me.”
“I could join you? If you need some backup.”
“Best not,” Aziraphale smiled. “After all, perhaps your influence might get in the way. Signal interference. I might not be able to get as thorough of an inspection.”
“Oh right.” Crowley said, disappointed. “Forgot about the whole angel and demon thing, just for a moment. Meet me after? Let me know everything that you think I’d need to know, and then everything else as well. Just in case I can make some sort of connection somewhere.”
“Yes, of course,” Aziraphale said, though she did not suggest when or where. “I’ll be certain to tell you everything I can.”
“Sure.” Crowley sighed. “Best of luck and all that.”

in today's installment of "I have personal conversations with my parents once a year" I learned that I was a twin and may possibly have chimerism
#lol. lmao even#i am 21 years old and I'm just now hearing about this because I brought up chimera cats to my mom#the twin thing is fucking WILD to me#the medical implications of chimerism make sense honestly given the sort of medical issues i already have but. a TWIN#she said she was bleeding a little so its more likely she just miscarried the other one and not me#but. is it super dramatic of me to say that i feel sort of like ive lost something lol#like. what gender was it. what was its name. it was too early to have those things but. man a fucking TWIN#this is stupid because I HAVE a brother and we would still have been raised in the same household under the same circumstances#so like. its 100% possible they would have grown up into a person I greatly dislike like how I am w my actual sibling#but. shit lol. a fucking twin.#I never in a million years would have thought that#I would have thought chimerism was more likely over a TWIN#what if. do you think if i had kids i would have fucking twins. are you kidding#im very conflicted about this lol it feels like a fun fact but i am in fact on the verge of tears#it almost feels fake. like what do you mean i was a twin#would I still have been the oldest? did i kill it? did i absorb it?#im going to try really hard to not psychoanalyze this because separated/missing twin psychology seems like psuedoscience at best#but im actually kind of upset about this lol#i had such a hard time socializing as a kid and you're telling me i almost had a sibling i could have learned from?#would they have had autism too? would we have understood each other the way only two neurodivergent people can?#its nobody's fault obviously but if i had someone that HAD to like me between the ages of 0-10 i would be such a different person#if i had a twin in high school people would have known who i was. i wouldn't have been the kid who people barely remembered#there were 2 sets of twins in my graduating class and everyone knew their names. you could say ''the twins'' and they knew them#frankly that sounds awful but like. fuck man i would have developed socially so much easier#i dont feel like im missing someone i feel sort of like i AM them. lmao#my mom did say specifically ''you're a chimera! it was twins and then i started bleeding a little and my next ultrasound it was just you''#so i COULD have chimerism but it also could have just been like vanishing twin syndrome#but i dont think ill be able to tell unless i take a dna test?? fucking christ lol add that to the list of shit i have to do#man. im gonna have to think about this for a long time lmao#miscarriage tw

ok sorry i have to ask what’s with everyone saying gabriel the villain from malignant 2021 is trans. is he just that based
its hard to explain what exactly gabriel is but hes like. a conjoined twin brother / evil growth? on the female protagonist's brain and he only exists by possessing her body so since he's a male character in a female body hes kind of sort of (but also kind of not) canon trans
