Chapter 9: Lights Camera Action

With Everyone part of the film, or at least the essentials, were gathered. Everyone had introduced themselves.

“Okay, I’m certain everyone knows who I am. Takeshi Miyazaki, your dear director for this film.” Takeshi started. 

After some clearing up and talking,

“Now, I’d like you to introduce yourselves with the bio you had received. With the little information you got, I want to see what kind of character you think you would be. Introduce yourselves in character. Let’s start with the principal actors. Minami-san?”

Kuroki took a deep breath, she read through her bio once again and plastered a smile. “Good Morning!! I hope everyone is doing great today! I’m Misato Saino! You can call me Sato!” She stood up abruptly knocking her chair down and bowed so low she hit her head on the table. Her breath hitched as she rubbed her forehead. Tears slowly building up on her eyes. “I-I’m 21 years old... an aspiring model. I-I have a...sis-” Her eyes instantly changed and her hand went to her cheeks as she started swooning. “I have the cutest! Beautifulest! Bestest! Amazingest! Little sister who is the bestest person to live in this world!!” She hoped up and down. “She’s been my sister her whole life!! And since then everything had been great!”

“So you think she’s a clumsy idiot?” Takeshi smirked.

“Well, it said here, she has a low-key sister complex, she met Hideo because she walked in on him. I’d say she’s an idiot.” Kuroki shrugged.

“Well, why don’t you check if you got her personality right. It’s at the back.”

Kuroki checked the back and gave herself a proud smile when she got it right.

“Now, Matsumoto-san, it’s your turn.”

Matsumoto scoffed and rolled his eyes. He placed his feet on the table. “I’m pretty sure you all know me already. I don’t like wasting my breath trying to state the obvious.” 

“Do enlighten us still of who you are.”

“I’m Hideo Satoshi, 19 years old. I’m an actor.” He groaned. “If you’re a fan I’m busy, wait for a meet and greet, I want time for myself. Don’t bother me.”

“So he’s a what?”

“Well I was thinking a tsundere...? Is that how to be a tsundere? I don’t know how to tsundere...” 

“Well you can’t exactly ask a Deredere to turn into a Tsundere in a snap. Especially when the Tsundere is a simp.” Y/N smirked.

“Hey, no clowning! We only clown Kuroki!”  Matsumoto growled. 

“Why a tsundere?”

“Because he ‘hates’ Misato but couldn’t stay away and like her company.”

“Well, your tsundere needs work but, if you check you charcter at the back you’d know if you do need to work on it.”

He checked the back. "Ohh, so close. He's just an asshole. I already don't like my character. Can't wait to play him."

"Your portrayal is correct but your explanation is wrong."

"Now which on of you two will go first?" Takeshi asked Lev and YN.

"Lev goes last. Save the best for last!" YN cheered.

"Well, well, let's see it."

Clearing her throat YN gave a fairly dull face. She stood up softly, "It's nice to meet you all. I'm Fumiko Saino, 18 years old. Please take care of me." She bowed then sat back down.

"Is that all you could tell us?" Takeshi smiled.

YN blinked slowly as if assessing what to do. "I'm Misato-Nee's little sister. I work as a photographer."

"So she's a Kuudere?"

In a snap YN changed character and smirked. "Hell yeah she is."

Checking the back she smirked, "Nailed it."

"Well, let's see the new guy in action."

Lev flinched and stood up, only to sit back down again. "I-I'm Akihiko Shinjo, Sir! I'm 21 years old, sir! I-I... I'm-I'm Hideo's manager, sir!"

"Tell me more about yourself." Takeshi said clearly amused.

"I've been working with Hideo since he started his career, sir! I've known him since he we were kids and we're almost like brothers, sir!"

"Great job Haiba-San! Now could you explain how you played your character?"

"I don't exactly know how... But he's like a nervous guy who always thinks he talks to someone who'll fire him... Was my idea of his character."

"Well congratulations you got it right. Your explanation was funny and kinda fits him perfectly."

"I'm so proud of Bae." YN swooned ruffling Lev's hair.

"Well since our characters had been introduced, I'll be telling you about your roles. You better not spoil the fans by posting about it online."

They tell everyone about the characters. How Hideo and Misato are the main couple, Hideo likes Fumiko, Fumiko and Misato likes Hideo.

"Now, why don't we do some read through."

Shook's Weekly OCs: #005

The first of the (many) Taianaverse characters, Saino! Now with a 'new' design that is just. A mish-mash of a bunch of au designs I'll probably never use again and his original one-

But hey, I like it so who cares! Onto the facts:

He's the youngest one of the three Dracheilig siblings by a technicality, since him and Taiana are twins (he's just like. a minute younger-).

He's a dragon, and his elemental affinity is that of nature (tl;dr, all dragons in this universe have an affinity for some sort of element, which get more abstract the more powerful they are).

He also has innate healing abilities (which includes the ability to heal others), and can regenerate his own limbs if need be.

He's usually very sweet and kind, but definitely does sometimes pull pranks on or mess with people he's close to.

He thinks his sister is the coolest, and often helps her with her knight work; He also thinks his brother is the coolest, but also thinks he works too much and finds subtle ways to make him take breaks.

He's always been close to his mother, and learned archery from her.

He is just. A silly little guy! A quiet silly little guy!! A lot of the fun with Saino is how he interacts with others, but like even without that, he just a little plant dragon man, what isn't to love?

Saino is an obvious pick, seeing as he has healing abilities and can grow/keep alive plants regardless of the conditions

Celari is another obvious one, she's very much the most survivalist-oriented of all my characters

and hm.... let's go with Mizusuki, since she's capable of defending herself and others but would bring a much needed levity to the group. Can't survive in the post-apocalypse if you're too depressed/freaked out/generally not doing good after all.

here they are, the new boys and girl-

i..... have no clue what im doing for most of em as far as stands go atm, so im just gonna list some general character info stuff-

-Taiana is pretty much just a goofy and outgoing girl who is completely invested in becoming a knight one day, even though they aren’t really a thing anymore. She is incredibly skilled with a sword.

-Saino is very shy, but not exactly timid and pretty much shares a braincell with Taiana.  He is incredibly skilled at growing plants.

-Theo is the only Dracheilig with multiple braincells, and is an inventor in his spare time. He’s very self conscious about his appearance however, fearing people will think he is a monster.

-Jacian is quite similar to Taiana in personality, though he acts more so as if he is royalty.  Technically speaking, he actually is a knight to some degree, and his intentions are largely unknown.

-Anthony, or Anton, is Jacian’s right hand man and closest friend.  He’s pretty ordinary besides that, but his dedication to helping and supporting those he cares for is unrivalled. 

-Gabbrielli is actually rumored to be royalty of some sorts, though if that is actually true or not is unknown.  However, these rumors, in tangent with his bright demeanor and... well, being a pretty anime boy, has lead to him being considered a bit of a heartthrob.  

some other stuff:

-Taiana and Saino are twins (with Taiana being like a minute older), and Theo is their older brother.

-All of the characters, with the exception of Theo, are Seniors in high school (though their ages still vary between 17 and 18) 

-Taiana and Jacian are rivals, and have gained a reputation for having duels in the front of the school on a regular basis.  These usually attract a crowd, though they always end in a draw.

-Anton is not the only person who looks up to Jacian; He actually is quite popular, and most of his friends or even just close acquaintances would do near anything for him.

-Taiana’s ‘Visor’ (the black shadow over her eyes) is just a mask of sorts that Theo made for her because she thought it would be cool.  It is.

-Theo’s appearance is caused in large part due to his stand’s power; It is irreversible, and the only part of it he can control is his wings, which he can manifest and retract at will.

-Yes Theo is part dragon, and so are his siblings.  No I will not elaborate, this is JoJo’s I’m like 90% sure weirder shit has happened.

-Saino aids Taiana on most, if not all, of her Knightly Escapades (TM).  They’re pretty much an inseparable duo most of the time.

-Jacian is just extra.  Like, minor Fire Emblem villain level of extra.  This man will eat a McDonalds burger with a fork and a knife using the finest china in his whole goddamn house.

-Gabbrielli is just a good boy who wishes people would stop hitting on him.  He’s good friends with Saino and Taiana, and will occasionally be the voice of reason, but more often then not will just get dragged into whatever shenanigans they're doing at the moment.
