It's things like this that make me still have hope for humanity after all.
Dear Slovaks, please know that we see your effort and we're incredibly grateful ❤️

You know, there's a lot of countries that joined this amazing Czech initiative and I'm grateful to each and every single one of them and to Czechia for organising this. But there's something to be said about people who's government refused to join in and who said "You know what? We'll fucking do it ourselves. Remember who the real power is." I just love this so much and tearing up a little from this.

This is how silencing the Ukrainian voices looks like.

Russians moving to Mariupol are ordinary Russians. Those ordinary Russians are taking pics with destroyed homes in the background, they wear propagandist shirts. They climb up them ruins and make videoblogs.
Ordinary Russians are adopting deported children. They don't care those children have been stolen from homes. They lie that their parents gave them up. They are horrified those stolen children speak Ukrainian as an act of rebellion.
Ordinary Russians are supporting Putin. They believe they are the better than others, that God is helping them.
Ordinary Russians are working on the ammo factories and produce shells and bullets and bombs. Those are all ordinary Russians.
Ordinary Russians leave thousands of comments cheering to our deaths and tragedies. Deaths and tragedies done by their fucking country and by their fathers brothers and sons. Who also are, you know, ordinary Russians.

please take a look at these photos. these are Ukrainian soldiers, people who went to defend their own country, their own territory and their own home. they were captured by the russians, where they were/are still being tortured for protecting their home. some of them were imprisoned for tens of years. some of them are tortured to death.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and here are photos of the russians and russian mercenaries, murderers and rapists who invaded the territory of Ukraine and began to destroy all living things until they were captured by Ukrainians.
Tumblr media
just look at them, their healthy appearance, no scars, no pale, sickly faces, starved bodies with sagging bellies and bulging ribs. Ukrainians treat war criminals according to international requirements, but for some reason the world allows the russians to violate these requirements with impunity.
please support Ukraine and show the rest of the world that good must prevail, Ukraine must win and russia & the russians must be justly punished.

Fucking hell
Russians blew up the Kakhovka Dam and basically destroyed the entire hydroelectric power plant.
Some regions in southern Ukraine are being flooded right now, others are going to lose access to fresh water. Even after the war ends, it will take years to rebuild the destroyed structures, and it will take decades (and enormous amount of resources) to reverse the ecological damage. Some things are going to be irreversible.
This will change the face of Ukrainian south for decades to come.
I want those responsible for this ecocide to eat glass, shit glass, sweat glass

i just wanna say that being a Ukrainian is difficult asf. russia is literally committing genocide on us, kills our best people, strikes hospitals and houses, tortures civilians, murders children, all while still sitting un the UNSC and having a shit ton of influence over the West through propaganda. “white people” will never treat us as equal: they probably never even heard of us in the first place and thought we were a part of russia. they ask us if we have Internet or malls in Ukraine like it’s a cavemen county and not one in the centre of Europe. people of color think that we get some sort of “special treatment” in our literal struggle to survive, because they didn’t receive it (i can’t blame them, really, but sometimes they go too far in their bitterness). our allies do help us, but they didn’t want to give us any sort of serious ammunition/weapons/warplanes because they were afraid of escalation, not to mention that they were ready to let us be devoured by russian terrorists in the beginning of the full-scale invasion. the UN congratulated the world with fucking russian language day on the day those bastards blew up the Kakhovka dam, killing hundreds, not evacuating civilians in occupied regions, because that was the point. killing. as a Ukrainian poet and politician Volodymyr Vynnychenko once said, and i hate that those words are true, “being a Ukrainian is being in a constant state of proving your right of existence.”

Morning in Ukraine is as always started randomly at whatever time russians decide to try to kill us. Explosion after explosion, and you stare at the information that there is so much shit flying to kill you. Thank you air defence for being here, so i can drink my coffee and listen quietly how you work, still being startled at the sound, but recognising that its not certain death yet

On December 30, russia launched at least 6 strikes on Kharkiv. Buildings in the central part of the city are seriously damaged, a fire broke out on the spot.
Currently, at least 16 people are reported injured. This is happening the next day after a massive russian missile barrage in Ukraine.
This is a daily reminder that russia continues to target peaceful Ukrainian cities, trying to destroy them day by day. From the very start of the full-scale invasion Kharkiv continues to suffer from russian strikes, which are directed at residential buildings or historically important places.
UPD: Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reports about 21 injured due to the russian strikes.

For those looking to donate to help Ukraine, here is a list of highly recommended Charities/Organizations:
I also recommend Save Ukraine. They work to rescue Ukrainian children who have been kidnapped and deported to Russia since the start of the war. This video, Stealing Ukraine's Children: Inside Russia's Camps, gives more insight into that particular situation:

On a final note, U.S. Congress needs to pass the $60 billion in aid to Ukraine. Shame on Republicans for holding this up! That is unacceptable and reprehensible on so many levels.

My hometown was occupied by russians for 8.5 months. Then they shelled it every day for 7 more months. Today they flooded it. Whole houses are floating in the river, the others are uninhebitable. They left the animals to drown in cages and on the streets. Fucking terrorists.

Imagine waking up in the morning and the first thing you know is that russia committed another war crime/ecocide/crime against humanity. The reservoir cools down Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and gives water to the North Crimean Canal (hew, remember how russian claimed that they attacked Ukraine because they needed water to the occupied Crimea?). Hundred of villages and towns will be drowned just in a few hours. Thousands of people will lose their homes.
I can’t even start to describe how vile it is, how angry and heartbroken I am right now.

russia be like: we did it → Ukraine did it → it happened by itself.
and the world swallows it.
every time someone, sitting thousands of km from Ukraine, in safety and comfort, starts spreading theories in which "not everything is so clear-cut" and "it is not known who is guilty and who is lying", I lose faith in humanity.
nine years ago, russia said that it was not russian troops that invaded Ukraine. today the whole world knows that it was the russians, and the russians do not even deny it anymore.
last year, russia said that it would not launch a full-scale invasion, but we can all see that russia lied. again.
russia justified the invasion by "denazification of Ukrainians", although it is the russians who are known for the phrase "we can repeat" addressing to the Germans in relation to World War II. it is the russians who created the cult of the leader, spread their Z V swastika all over the world and promote the greatness of war.
Tumblr media
russia justified the invasion as a "preemptive strike" so that Ukraine would not join NATO and NATO would not attack russia. although there were already NATO member countries on the border with russia. another cheap lie.
russia justified the invasion by the fact that in Ukraine "the russian-speaking population is oppressed". although even our president spoke russian before the invasion.
meanwhile, russian state channels simply say that Ukrainians annoy them, so Ukrainians must be destroyed.
russia said that it would not shell civilians, but russia began the invasion by shelling houses in the middle of the night and dropping bombs on sleeping civilians. on all of us.
russia said that its targets are only military facilities, but russia destroys entire cities and villages along with the population, killing Ukrainians every day.
Tumblr media
since the beginning of the war, only Ukrainians have suffered. russians forcibly take Ukrainian children to the territory of russia, where the children are subjected to physical and psychological violence. with hard efforts, Ukraine managed to return a few, but currently about 30,000 Ukrainian children (only those who could be counted) are still in russia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
first the russians drowned the Ukrainians, and then they began a massive shelling of the flooded cities in order to kill those who survived and those who came to the rescue.
Tumblr media
this is a full-scale invasion of russia on the territory of Ukraine. Ukrainians are dying. Ukraine's ecology is suffering. the russians openly declare that all of Ukraine must be destroyed. they talk about it every day on state channels, their politicians call for the extermination of Ukrainians.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
russians set up torture chambers for Ukrainians, execute Ukrainians, cut off the heads, hands and legs of our people, rape children, film all of this and show off. the whole Tumblr would not be enough to list all the tragedies that russia has caused and for which we cry every day, commemorate the victims every day, mourn every day.
now the russians blew up the dam and flooded dozens of Ukrainian towns and villages. these are terrible consequences for Ukraine first of all. then for the world and environment. but not for russia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and while the Ukrainians were left alone with another russian war crime, with a crime against humanity, against the environment, russia simply says "it's not us" and people still believe it, and russia gets away with a tragic crime again.
please be sensible, russia has been at war with all its neighbors, russia is still at war in Syria, russia has been shelling Syrians even when there was an earthquake! now that russia caused the flood in Ukraine, russians are shelling Ukrainians, trying to finish off the wounded and those who did not manage to evacuate.
russia is evil and russia always lies. these are long proven facts, and if you have never delved into the topic of russian wars before, listen to the victims, listen to those whose lives russia is trying to take away.
everything is very simple right now — take the side of Ukraine. of Syria. support good.

i wish people just stopped bringing Ukraine up whenever they talk about Palestine bc it’s always “the world supports Ukrainians because they’re white” and never “both these nations suffer from their oppressors and we’re in solidarity with both”

The culture house was destroyed today in Orikhiv. That's the place, where we celebrated all the main events in our town. Proms, jubilees and anniversaries, the Day of our town, just cultural things like concerts, events, theater and dancing performances, even weddings. I was on the scene of it so many times, and in the plush seats of the building even more times. It was a beautiful, old building, with creaking scene floors, the drapes that smelled of dust and hairspray, the great chandelier that when lit at the start and the end of the event made everything look magical. I got my high school diploma there. I watched my friends get theirs. We started our lives as adults there. Many, many children did. I sang at that scene, I danced, I was so nervous on it, and yet ridiculously happy. So many laughs were shared on that scene as the drapes were lowered, and behind in the locker rooms.
Also, that building is placed on the main town square. That heart in the center? It was a sign "I love Orikhiv", that many took photos in front of. Here it is at Christmas times, the foggy morning of our usual December, while the tree was still being decorated, and yet to be renovated building to the left. I passed around it on my way to the river or shops so many times, hearing the rehearsals of local dance clubs for kids at the weekends or near holidays.
Tumblr media
Every day, one by one, ruzzians destroy pieces of our past and history. Every building, that was important to our community, the historical buildings, that are hundreds of years old, or just infrastructure like post offices, shops that were there even before I was born, that I remember going to as a kid. The memories of all that, the childhood that is tainted by regret and sorrow now. Every place, that contained any memory of that sweet time as a child, when everything was simple and easy, is broken by the realization that I can never go to that post office and see the display of chocolates my grandpa bought me when we went to collect our post. That shop, that sold toys I was eyeing for years, the happiness when I got to choose one to go home with me. The house of culture, that I as pupil ran to rehearsals of chorus, happy to be out of a boring lesson.
I am scared to come back now, if I ever will go home. Of the heartbreak I will see with my own eyes, because I am not sure I can handle seeing the ruins of the town that was my everything for my whole life. Everything in my town is ruined. I am tired of anger, rage and heartbreak.
