First person in this fandom I really found and yknow you've seen the whole liveblogging journey. Other than that you are in fact also the reason I got into this at all so I can rightfully blame you for some of the more delightful developments rqg and rome discord have made in my life. Your audio posts are incredible and a blessing and I am absolutely in awe of your skill. So from the bottom of my heart thank you for all of this!

I read your timeskip thing about how Wilde got his scar and I just wanted to say I absolutely love it, but it's lead to me realising that wilde probably had to quarantine after that....

Like he has had one of the worst experiences of his life someone he trusted (after Damascus when he was struggling to trust people and didn't know who to turn to so you know this probably someone that really mattered to him) turned around and tried to kill him for seemingly no reason and he couldn't even rely on his magic when he was fighting for his life something that is so ingrained he still tried to use it in Paris when he could BARELY TALK and he'd have to quarantine!? Because clearly this infection is dangerous and they have no idea how it spreads or how to notice it before it's too late?????

Did Zolf have to stitch him up and then take him to quarantine and then sit outside the cell looking at this man that he finally really trusts after everything slowly lose parts of himself not knowing if the person he was worried about was even left anymore?????

Did he tell Barnes and Carter about the situation and then lock himself in there with Wilde to make sure he healed okay because it's not like he'd tell them of he wasn't?????? IF HE DID DO THAT WOULD WILDE BE RELIEVED OR WOULD HE BE TERRIFIED THAT ZOLF WAS INFECTED TOO!?

this was really long but you're the reason this occurred to me so if I have to suffer so do you because it turns out the 18 month timeskip is something I will never be over

Nonnie, as Alex is fond of saying, please stop jumping the gun, I am GETTING to all of this in the next piece I'm writing, I think! You are bang on with all of this! Obviously Wilde getting his face slashed was probably one of the first instances of The Resistance realizing exactly how insidious the blue veined folks are, and the catalyst for lots of people realising the need for quarantine. Like, the cell at the Japanese inn was custom fit to purpose but to start with they wouldn't have had the facilities or know how.

Personally I'm leaning toward Zolf going in with him to help with the healing and for maximum angst.

As for WHOMST stabbed Wilde, I might have found myself on a wiki meander last night reading about Real World Oscar Wilde and his most famous lovers to find a good one to disrespect the memory of, and damn if Alfred Douglas isn't perfect for the role. Alex is right, just straight up lifting characters from history and customising them for your story is a GREAT idea.

Vaguely? I never planned much honestly partially because adhd makes the concept of the future and Depression doesnt help with that either. I guess i thought I'd study something cool with science and do student things and generic adult things and get to eat whatever food i want. All of those came true. I had hoped I'd be done studying faster maybe XD.

Basilisk: Favourite movie.

Ooooh dont make me choooose. First thing that popped into my head was Mamma Mia so going with that. I think most often watched would be Avengers which is also a fun choice. For a slightly more pretentious choice lets throw "Pride" in there which is just an amazing movie throughout.

Rqg anon here after some calm breathing hello, I mean wow first off hilarious how Ben apologised like ten times for that whole thing idk to Helen? To the listeners? Who knows. But also I wanna know how they did that. Like did they record the whole of Zolfs thing first and then Azus so Ben already knew what was going on? If not then what did Alex tell him to do. Like just do grizzop guilt tripping azu as good as he can maybe?

so ben def apologized to helen, and he does say something along the lines of “i got a brief” so im assuming ben and alex had a talk before hand, ben getting a heads up of what was possibly going to happen, and yeah, just a possibility of what he would need to say to azu in like ... i dunno a dark timeline? like you said just the guilt trippiest things he could think of, and hoooooboy did ben not hold back (and im glad he didnt it fit the moment so well and i honestly loved it but HOOOBOY)
