Lou Jitsu Research (ROTTMNT)
Well, I am finally at that step in the fandom cycle.... obsessive researching...
Basically, I am trying to time out Splinter’s acting career, using what 9 movies we know about to plan.
The only 2 dates we know for sure are:
Crouching Shrimp Hidden Tiger Prawn: in 1984
Tumblr media
and...
Hot Soup Forever: around 03/30/1998
Tumblr media
We also know that Yoshi started dating Big Mama in 1984, around the same time as the Tiger Prawn movie and it was their dating and his eventual proposal of her that got him snatched away to the Battle Nexus.
So I was wondering three things basically:
What was his last Lou Jitsu film?
How long did Splinter and Big Mama date?
How long was he fighting in the Battle Nexus?
...
WHAT WAS HIS LAST FILM?
Based on just looking at the wiki, I am guessing the order of his films go something like:
1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish – Dead Fish
Little Jacob's Ladder
Teriyaki Shakedown
Punch Chowder
Lou Jitsu Meets the Mummy Ninjas
Crouching Shrimp Hidden Tiger Prawn
Bedtime for Bozos
Jitsu for Justice
Hot Soup Forever
While I’m mostly guessing on this order, I put 1 Fish 2 Fish, Jacob’s Ladder, and Teriyaki in the top 3 because of how old the footage looked or if it was imported/ had a dubbed voice over the acting... meaning he could have made one or all of these films while he still lived in Japan.
Also, 1 Fish 2 Fish was the one Splinter wanted to start with in the training marathon, so maybe that means it was one of the very first movies?
Punch Chowder sounds like it could go next, IDK why... just feel like a lot of people know that one, so it was probably one that highlighted his career more?
Then the Mummies because it sounds like a silly cash grab, perfect for his fifth movie. Need to give him plenty of time to go on all those yacht parties with supermodels and such.
The unseen terrible Jupiter Jim Christmas special can be somewhere around here, but that one doesn’t count! 😅
Then the Tiger Prawn one to cement that 1984 date and meeting Big Mama.
And just kind of guessing on the last ones based on how well known they are and how they’re at the DVD rental places, meaning they might be the later movies.
...
HOW LONG DID SPLINTER DATE BIG MAMA?
Ignoring this list completely, and if we go off the dates we ACTUALLY know, 1984-1998... that’s 14 years! Splinter and Big Mama could very well have dated for 14 long years!
I’m wondering now what the public thought of Lou Jitsu’s disappearance and if a story was made up or if it would be just one of those unsolved celebrity mysteries for years to come.
...
HOW LONG WAS HE TRAPPED IN THE BATTLE NEXUS?
Let’s assume Yoshi was 17-18 when he started acting.
In 2018, that would make him 55 years old.
In 1998 (around the time of his last-ish movie), he would have been 35.
Then in 1984, when he started dating Big Mama, he would’ve been 21...
Putting his birthyear somewhere around 1963.
He was kidnapped and mutated in 2005, putting him at around 42 years old, and giving him 7 years of fighting in the Battle Nexus, swearing off fighting, and becoming a pacifist.
...
...
So that’s how far I’ve gotten on this research road. If anyone has any theories or better math skills to offer, I am all ears!
(EDIT: if anyone uses this info to write any fics about Splinter, I wanna read them! 🤩)
EDIT-EDIT:  I put this in a reply, but I wanted to add it in officially. Yoshi's “Kamen Rider” action figure was probably made around 1971, so he was (at minimum) 8 years old when his mom left. This is if we're assuming he was born in 63'. I’m not too familiar with Japanese 1970s elementary school uniforms, but I’m running with this assumption until proven otherwise.

Why Ahsoka's Thrawn isn't actually the real Thrawn
A theory by me, which I am going to be so annoying about for the foreseeable future, so let me just try to get most of it out of my system right here and now. 😅
---
So we all know by now that Thrawn is revving up to be the BIG BAD for the live action Star Wars series tying The Mandalorian into Ahsoka and working off of the Rebels finale.
Tumblr media
I also remember hearing old rumors that they were going to be pulling a lot from legends lore for this show, and that Timothy Zahn was not really involved at all with the show itself. (Feel free to update me otherwise though.)
Now, the fact that they're calling him the "Heir to the Empire" in the teaser trailer is already a pretty decent confirmation that the legends lore nods are in full swing. So this raises red flags for Thrawn's character, who, as we know from the newer novels, has a bit more motivation to him than his legends counterpart, and while the two are not wholly dissimilar, there have been a few important updates to his character since the early 90's.
Not to mention, I've heard a lot of people saying "If Zahn isn't involved, it wouldn't really BE Thrawn, right?"
EXACTLY!
I have a very strong gut feeling that this Thrawn isn't actually going to be the Mitth'raw'nuruodo that we expect him to be, and here's why:
Tumblr media
Evidence #1: The Beskar Spear
In Chapter 13 of Mando, we're introduced to Morgan Elsbeth who was apparently working so closely with Thrawn that Ahsoka Tano shows up to battle her and demand information on his wearabouts.
Do you really believe Grand Admiral Thrawn would think very highly of a woman who had tarnished the artistic craftsmanship and history of Mandalorian armor just to forge it into a spear?
Lest we forget how upset he got at Captain Slavin just for badmouthing Hera's kalikori in Rebels?
Tumblr media
But Thrawn is a big-picture kind of guy, so swallowing his opinions on the dismissal to the value of art isn't necessarily out of character for him, and I'm not sure if they ever specified it was Elsbeth who had done the re-forging in the first place.
Moving on!
---
Tumblr media
Evidence #2 Legends Lore and Fake Thrawns
There have been many versions of Thrawn since his creation in Zahn’s original trilogy/duology series, but did you know that there have also been multiple Thrawns existing in the Star Wars Legends universe?
I won't go into too much detail, but considering the Empire tried to keep Thrawn at arms reach up until he earned his Admiral status, and then some… they had quite a few backup plans to make sure the Chiss stuck around even after his “supposed” death.
Between Moff Vilim Disra hiring a con-artist actor named Flim, to fake the role and trick the galaxy... or the literal clone(s) who were set on backup timers and programmed with all of Thrawn's memories just in case of the Admiral’s untimely demise... it’s not as wild an assumption as you might think that there could be a few faux Thrawn’s roaming about in new canon.
And we have been getting a lot of interesting nods to clones lately in the Bad Batch, especially concerning Mount Tantiss and the planet Wayland/Weyland.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just some food for thought.
---
Tumblr media
Evidence #3: Thrawn’s Death and Continuity
Though Legends and Canon Thrawn do have some similarities and ways to tie together their two universes, there have been updates to his story that cannot be ignored in the new canon, such as his inevitable death.
In legends, Thrawn was killed at the hands of his own Noghri bodyguard, Rukh, who was formally loyal to the Chiss until he learned that Thrawn had not been helping with the ecological disasters of his home planet as he'd promised, but instead had been purposefully keeping them present so that the Noghri people would remain indebted to the Empire. Discovering Thrawn's lies, Rukh stabs him through the chest in the ever-popular “it was so artistically done” scene, thus ending the deceitful Grand Admiral’s life in the old trilogy.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately for the latest iteration of Rukh, Garazeb Orrelios made sure that his new canon self's death was probably not the sort he would be able to get back up and brush off in a surprising twist down the road.
This left the new-canon Thrawn without an assassin destined to carry out his death, and what many newer fans hoped would mean some sort of redemption arc, given the changes to the character since his reintroduction in Rebels.
I think it can also be stated that the newer version of Thrawn is a bit "kinder" for lack of a better word than his legend's self. Not enough to negate his antagonistic nature in Rebels of course, but maybe just not to the sinister degree as his past counterpart.
---
So in closing, I am going to be watching and taking notes, excited to see where this new "Thrawn" in the Ahsoka series, Mando, and heck... maybe even Bad Batch-- will play out.
I am going to be constantly thinking he's a fake until absolutely proven otherwise, hoping that the Thrawn I've spent all these years building up in my head is off saving the Chiss-Ascendancy with Ezra Bridger and Eli Vanto... and getting something of a redemption arc now that he's apart from the Empire.
Newer Thrawn never struck me as an irredeemable villain, especially in the novels, but I guess that's up to time to tell for sure?
I'm not going to let this theory ruin my expectations for the show and the character, of course, but I'll be super hype if this is the direction they've chosen to go with him.
Thanks for reading, if you did, and feel free to keep the discussion going in the replies/reblogs if you have anything to add!

The Kamen Rider Effect...
Now, I don't know a lot about Kamen Rider, but...
Tumblr media
I know in Rise, Yoshi had an action figure as kid in the 70s, which was a nod to the show, but I was curious if they used like a "Power Rangers" color-naming system-- which could’ve been why Splinter ultimately ended up naming the boys after colors before (presumably) giving them their Renaissance names.
So I looked it up, and saw that there were two of them in the actual show known as the “Double Kamen Riders” and that they were literally named... wait for it... “Kamen Rider 1″ and “Kamen Rider 2″.
Tumblr media
They were also created by being kidnapped by the bad guys who attempted to turn them into brainwashed, mutant cyborgs... so there’s that too!
Either way, I feel like that knowledge made this scene make a little more sense if that was supposed to be a fun nod to his favorite childhood action show.
Tumblr media
Either that, or he is just a silly man 🤣 IDK!?
Anyone who actually knows the 1970s Kamen Rider lore, please feel free to confirm/deny this headcanon.

Big Mama's Chinese Roots and a Connection to Tang Shen?
First off, to preface... this whole thing started because @caro-rolo figured out that the Mystic Portal Key doohickeys in Rise are actually just some kind of fancy compasses that have North, South, East, and West written in Chinese characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, the first thought I had to learning this was "Tang Shen" because in the TMNT universe where Japanese influence is pretty heavy, she is notable for having a Chinese name.
She is also the love interest of Hamato Yoshi in many different variations. Though in Rise, that role belongs most notably to Big Mama, with Tang Shen being a blink and you miss it easter-egg credit on the cover of Jistu for Justice:
Tumblr media
Mama is also most likely the source of where Splinter got his mystic portal key, and she even has one of her own in her office. Judging by how much control she has over the Hidden City, from the Battle Nexus, to demolition derbies, to train stations, to crime rings, she seems to have a large control over just who all is in her city, and these keys could very well be something she controls directly.
Tumblr media
Now, Big Mama has all the set ups for having typical TMNT Japanese roots. Even her home estate seen in "Hidden City Job" has a very Asian look to it inside and out:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Plus, the whole "her being a yokai", makes it easy to assume she is based on some kind of Japanese spider demon like Jorōgumo, Yatsukahagi/Tsuchigumo, or Ōgumo, etc.
But "Yokai" can also be used to describe the Chinese term "yaoguai" which is basically the same definition.
So if Mama were a Chinese spider demon instead, the first one who comes up on a quick Google search is "zhī zhū jīng" or "spider woman". These are 7 spider demon sisters who fight Sun Wukong in Monkey King: Journey to the West.
Tumblr media
Here, the spiders changed into seven beautiful young ladies who wanted to eat the flesh of Sun Wukong's master, Tang Seng, which is said to make the consumer immortal and forever young.
"Tang Seng"... "Tang Shen"... sounds pretty similar.
And aren't there also some animation ties from ROTTMNT to Lego Monkey King? Tangent side note, but there's a spider demon queen in that universe too and guess what? SHE'S PURPLE!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And where did Mama and Lou Jistsu first meet? On set of one of his movies "Crouching Shrimp Hidden Tiger Prawn" in 1984. A movie where an actress like Tang Shen could very well have ties to? (We'll come back to this at the end.)
Tumblr media
Another chip in the Chinese vs Japanese bucket is Big Mama's Security Team:
Tumblr media
At first, I thought their distinct faces represented Blue Japanese Hannya/ Oni masks, but what if they're supposed to be Chinese Nuo masks instead? Not unlike Zuko's Blue Spirit mask in ATLA.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You could also argue these guys are wielding a sort of Qinglong Ji or Fangtian Ji, which are Chinese spear or polearm weapons. (But if anyone knows what those spear thingies are really called, please let me know, it's driving me nuts!)
...
In conclusion, I got sent on a massive rabbit hole because of a fictional compass and regret nothing! 🧭
Now what is Big Mama's connection to Tang Shen? Are they related? (The actress does look a bit purple.) They could be sisters like the 7 sisters of the Monkey King lore. Did Mama seek to get rid of Tang Shen so she could get closer to Lou Jitsu herself? Are they the same person? Is Big Mama based on Japanese or Chinese folklore? Did any of this make any sense at all?
Let me know what you think, and thanks for joining me for another deep dive into another one of my random ROTTMNT theories!
EDIT: (PS- Sorry, if the "read more" messes the order of these up, but the scroll was annoying me in my own tags.) 😅

At the risk of giving away all of my fun headcanons, I just wanted to get the ideas out of my head and hear your thoughts.
Which one sounds cooler to you guys?
1. Altisian Jedi Phee Genoa with psychometry/force echoes who was trained by 3000 year old Kaminoan Jedi, Kina Ha...
(OR)
2. Kiffar citizen Phee Genoa who hides her clan tattoo under her bandana and can still use psychometry on treasure hunts to get the force echoes in artifacts and the surrounding area?
---
I went down a few Wookieepedia rabbit holes and blame all the Jedi Survivor for giving me psychometry ideas, BUT:
Phee could use Jedi mind tricks to get Cid to tell her about the clones from s2e1. Something that was supposed to be secret, AND Cid was known to help/ have ties with the Jedi in the past. -
She could have more reason for showing up AFTER Kamino fell specifically if either she or her master had seen a vision of its destruction. (Or oppositely if she just saw the echoes around Cid's bar and got curious.) -
She would just be a small branch of Jedi who the council didn't really agree with, or so far out of the way that Order 66 didn't directly apply to her. -
She has those weirdly specific bursts of strength all throughout s2e5 and plenty of places psychometry would apply. -
She could touch Tech's goggles and find out what happened to him post Eriadu incident! (cough-that he is alive-cough). -
OR when she touched his datapad, could have figured out where they were going and showed up to save Tech? (Adding it to my Tech is Alive theory pile...) -
And according to the wiki, Kina Ha's modified genes could be used to reverse clone rapid aging... There could be a poetic reason Rex and squad chose to decline it, but it could always be something for a good happy ending for the Bad Batch squad. -
But on the other hand, if she was just a Kiffar with the rare ability of psychometry, she could still use the force echoes and be interested in history, treasures, and such, and it would explain the lack of arguable places where she should have used the Force (especially in Entombed).
IDK? Let me know your thoughts on this, and if you want to write or draw anything for these headcanons specifically, tag me so I can both read/ reblog them!
I am hoping maybe I can write or draw something for these too, but the way my brain is working lately, I'm not holding my breath.

So, the boys knew how to fight with fish and ladders from the Lou Jitsu movie, Little Jacob's Ladder... BUT Draxum knew they could fight like LJ because he watched him do it in one of his Battle Nexus fights.
So I wonder if the fight inspired the movie, or if the movie inspired the fight?
I guess it depends on whether Big Mama kidnapped him, but still let him make movies for a while or not? 🤔
Feel free to discuss!
Basing theories off of this older post!

I Worry about Raine...
My dudes, I am about to make a LEAP and I really hope I'm just overthinking things again.
So Raine Whispers is a double agent, a rebel working within the covens, and we all love them and want only good things for them.
We feared for their safety after "Eda's Requiem", but it turns out they were fine.
Tumblr media
We feared for their memories/ freewill after "Follies at the Coven Day Parade", but again, they turned out to be fine.
Tumblr media
We've got some speculations circulating that there was a mole in the CATTs, either willingly or unknowingly, but surely it cannot be Raine because they're just nervous about Eda, and it's all one big red herring for us, the audience, right?
Again, they’re probably going to be fine...
Tumblr media
But there are parts of Raine's story that don't all add up. Their peril is always diverted so simply. Too simply.
Raine was "briefly" introduced via the old scrapbook photo in "Wing it Like Witches". Even Darius and the Blights were given cameos during the season 1 finale, and yet we don't meet any of them until we're well into season 2. Regardless, these characters all already existed in the story by Season 1, even if we didn’t know it yet.
Where was Raine for the coven tryouts Owl Beast flashback?
Where was Raine during Eda's publicized petrification ceremony?
Do you really think Raine "I love my owl wife" Whispers would've just sat back and watched his childhood best friend and ex-lover be petrified LIVE on their crystal ball? NO!
I think Raine's troubles go back even further than we were led to believe. I think Raine did go to try and help Eda, but was caught beforehand... (possibly by Terra Snapdragon.)
Tumblr media
This friendly-faced troublemaker who was already working their way up the ranks could be the perfect patsy to manipulate into the Emperor's plots, especially when they thought they were working against it all from the start. Everything they did, they thought would be to stop this evil system, when really they were playing right into the Emperor’s hands.
People liked Raine, trusted Raine, and this bard had a way of drawing in allies (AKA people who Belos would need removed or to keep an eye on). The Covens needed this kind of wholesome PR, so to speak, on their side.
Thus the former head bard CONVIENTLY "retires", Raine is put into the position of power they've been working towards, and they are left free to finally cause what little mischief missions with the BATTs they so please.
Tumblr media
Little does Raine know, Terra has been pulling puppet strings ever since Eda's near-petrification. The seeds planted off-screen all the way back in S1 (if not waaay before that).
Their capture? A ruse on Darius and Eber's parts, true... but also a carefully planned act for Terra/ Belos. Now Raine has even more reason to rebel, plot, and gather allies. They have even more reason not to trust her and to keep secrets and make desperate plans.
Their treachery doesn’t even warrant a petrification because it will be too hard to replace them. Well “Clouds On the Horizon” confirmed they all have replacement bodies for the Day of Unity itself, but for Raine in that moment, they meant Raine was more valuable to them alive and plotting than petrified and silenced.
And the tea? That's not even anything nefarious. Terra just wants Raine to think it is, to lull them into a false sense of security in thinking they got the best of her. Two steps ahead, they allow Raine to gather all the loose ends for them, while all they have to do is sit back and watch.
Tumblr media
Raine is either already under her control or something went down, memories were actually altered, or it’s all just mind games, but Terra already has Raine right where she wants them like a little chess piece. Maybe all Raine has to do is be themself and the rest just happens to work out for Belos?
Maybe they wanted this outcome for the Day of Unity? Maybe the CATT's plan actually works in the bad guy's favor instead of the rebels'? Maybe this is a joint effort between Terra and Belos years in the making. Maybe I'm giving the old plant lady too much credit??? I don’t want to undersell how much time these wicked, old people have had to think this all through.
And I don't think Raine is a traitor, but I do think we're missing something... Raine is missing something... and nobody is going to realize the gaps until it's too late.
Tumblr media
Did this make any sense at all? It is very late, and probably all super wrong, but all I know is I have FEARS for this finale. 😨😅
Feel free to speculate off of this though!

Owl House S3 Theory
The kids travel to the nearest Connecticut zoo and speak with the giraffes. Turns out they could create portals back to the demon realm all along, and promise to help the kids back if they don’t blow their covers because they’ve got a good thing going for them on earth since their banishment. 🦒

What if Dell was the previous Golden Guard AND also a Grimwalker?
My sleep deprived brain has cooked up a potentially terrible crack theory for the Owl House everybody, so get ready!
Tumblr media
First off, let’s list off the basics:
It sounds like he traveled a lot for work.
He has the facial features of a Wittebane/ Wittebro.
He's knowledgeable about palismen and palistrom wood, and is a skilled carver.
He’s the right age to have mentored an adolescent Darius.
He has the other cardinal palisman w the mysterious scar.
The little avian-looking buttons he wears on his coat and beard give off Hunter’s mask/ Coven Guard vibes to me.
Not to mention there just seems to be a lot of him shrouded in mystery, like the missing piece to connect a much bigger puzzle?
Tumblr media
His injuries when we saw him in "Elsewhere & Elsewhen” looked more severe than the ones seen in Eda's dream memory in “Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door”.
Now, maybe that was just Disney's censors, or even some sort of “scars grow on the Boiling Isles” sort of thing like with Phillip’s broken nose...
(Although that’s probably because Belos absorbs the palismen souls with dark magic, and nothing else.)
Eda attacking her father as the owl beast did leave him with a few scratches on his hands and his scarred his eye, but what if the other major injuries were caused when Belos ultimately tried to “off him” for failing to live up to his expectations post-owl beast attack?
Tumblr media
It could be possible that one of the previous Golden Guard's missions was to find the whereabouts of the owl beast, since The Collector seems to be interested/ connected to it in some way, and it's power could be the very thing to help stop the day of unity.
Tumblr media
It’s also possible that the last Golden Guard was tasked with searching for the portal door, and in “Keeping Up A-fear-ances” we know this was eventually found near either the Cawthorne estate or Dell’s tower-- I am not sure which, but either way, it is somewhere where Dell (or one of his/Gwen’s relatives) would have had access to find and/or bury and hide it from Belos.
Tumblr media
After keeping the portal from him, and realizing the owl beast curse was now living in his own daughter, Dell would have obviously protected her.
Eventually Belos would get impatient with his guard’s lack of results in the two matters, and would then decide to scrap this grimwalker and start fresh again with Hunter.
...
They're are some holes with this theory though, like...
Did Dell keep his family a secret from Belos to make the overall timeline of this idea work? Was it a part of his mission to infiltrate and uncover information from Phillip’s brother’s witch-wife’s descendants, but then he fell in love with Gwen for real?
I am assuming Gwendolyn is the blood descendant of Wittebro, based on her looks compared to the witch in the “Hollow Mind” memories, and her great-grandmother's human-stories... So, would a clone of Wittebro falling in love with the descendant of Wittebro be considered problematic even though they're not technically related? IDK... 🤔
Tumblr media
And if this theory about him being the previous grimwalker/attacked by Belos was true, then why wouldn't Dell tell Eda a lot of his scars weren't her fault? Maybe he tried and she just wouldn't listen?
Or maybe Belos did start to suspect Dell after he got the owl beast scars, and this is all some big family secret so Belos doesn’t find out he failed to kill the last grimwalker?
Maybe Darius even helped Dell to escape his fate and kept his secret family hidden from Belos so Eda, Lilith and Gwen would be safe (or even unaware) of Dell’s past? Kind of depends on how old everyone was since Darius and Eda are similar ages and Eda was cursed relatively young.
...
Tumblr media
OR.... am I reaching way too hard on this idea, and Dell is just a regular Clawthorne palisman carver, either he or Gwen are descendants of Whittebro, and there’s something else here to connect all the missing pieces of the story together?
All I know is maybe Darius, Hunter, Bat Queen, and Dell could come together in the near future, and all of them might have a very common enemy going here?
IDK? Let me know your thoughts!

Viktor's Parents
What We Know:
Amanda Overton shared a Twitter Post saying that they had a backstory which wasn't made canon where Viktor's parents saved up the money to buy him the uniform so he could sneak into the Academy.
In his League of Legends bio, it only says they were "artisans" and encouraged his inventing.
So, Are They Still Alive?
By the time Viktor is found dying in the Hextech lab, it's Jayce who was his primary emergency contact, not somebody like his parents (or Heimerdinger for that matter-- but since he'd been working more with Jayce than Heimerdinger in recent years, I guess that makes more sense?).
Tumblr media
SOMEHOW, SOMEONE was able to find Jayce at Mel's place in the middle of the night and let HIM know (without even waking Mel) that he needed to go to the hospital to check on Viktor, but at the same time nobody would be able to send a letter to his parents or something?
I don't know if it is just detachment from home-life and work-life, but for this reason, and him so ready to off himself after what happened to Sky-- I am really thinking that Viktor's parents might be dead by this point in his life.
But if that's true, then that begs the question...
When and how did they die?
...
Theory #1: Viktor's parents fought with Vander on the bridge and were killed on the Day of Ash
Viktor was born in the Entresol level of the Undercity, which according to this video is also where the Lanes and probably the mines are located. His league bio says they had to relocate a lot when he was a kid because of things like chemical spills, accidental detonations, or incoming chem-clouds.
That means his parents probably knew and worked with plenty of people in the Lanes, factories, and mines.
Let's assume Viktor's parents did know Vander and joined his cause. I'd say them scrounging up every penny to send their son off to a school for a better future would put them in the same mindset as the other parents who died on that bridge fighting for the chance at a better life for them and their kids.
(Side Note) Viktor's Artisan Parents:
If Viktor's parent's were still artisans in Arcane, what sorts of things did they make?
Tumblr media
As a kid, Viktor's boat was mostly made of spare scrap and gears, but was pretty intricate given the same scrap-parts we see Powder collecting to make her various bombs. If his parents worked with those sorts of materials, he would have access to a larger variety of things than Powder would have scrounging around behind the Last Drop.
Plus given how his childhood clothes and cane aren't exactly the quality of a master woodcarver or seamstress, I am going to say they probably worked with metal like clocks, masks, and machinery--- maybe even weapons like Vander's cast-iron gauntlets? (Another potential tie to Vander, but maybe a reach?)
Just look at the metal handle on his cane in contrast to the rest of it, and again, the materials of his boat.
Tumblr media
Back to the Point:
On the bridge, there is a memento left behind, a pair of glasses stained with blood:
Tumblr media
These are metal "working glasses" with a lens enhancement... not exactly goggles good for fighting in like Claggor wears, but something say an artisan like a jeweler or a clockmaker would wear, or someone who works with fine, small things. There is even a pocket watch next to them. (But it could be unrelated?)
If Viktor's parents did die on the bridge, Viktor would have most likely already been in his late teens, early twenties and studying at Piltover's Academy by this time, and he would have woken up to a view of smoke and the aftermath of a cause people died for which he was hoping to prevent given more time with his studies.
But... Then again...
If this theory were true, then would his reaction of people fighting on the bridge later on, not warrant more of a reaction out of him than a headshake?
Tumblr media
...
Theory #2: They died in an accident
One of LoL Viktor's biggest traits is wanting to evolve past "human error". These errors caused a lot of the destruction around his home as a kid and cost many lives as well as his time. Maybe Viktor's parents were simply killed in the crossfires of an accident like an explosion or a chemical spill?
There is a connection between Viktor and the Water Purification Walls where he always goes to think and where Heimerdinger claims to have discovered him.
Tumblr media
Could it be related to his parents' works? To his work wanting to fix something that hurt or killed them specifically? Or maybe it is just one of his first projects that he created personally just to help people.
On a different note, his parents could have even died at the hands of their own experimentation and work? (Which could explain why Viktor is also so reckless with his experimenting before he even knows his life is on a timer.)
...
Theory #3: They were also sick from the gases in the fissures
Bringing me in to theory 3, they simply died from the same illness that is currently killing Viktor now. Simple as that.
He wasn't very surprised by his sickness or seeing blood coughing up in the days before he collapsed. Maybe he already knew based on past experience with people in the Undercity sharing the same fate? His parents included.
...
Theory #4: They're not dead at all and are totally fine
Maybe Viktor's parents aren't dead at all and are just in the Undercity somewhere doing work while Viktor does his own thing in Piltover. They're all just genetically workaholics and forget to check in every now and again?
Maybe Viktor, will even cross paths with them in season 2?
Maybe they'll be in danger of a chem spill and his creating Blitzcrank will be brought up to save them?
Maybe, the people he tries to help in his LoL lore after fighting with Jayce could have also included somebody more personal such as his parents?
The theories go on...
...
So IDK, this is just the results of all of my Viktor brainrot and theories about timelines and placements for stories about him that I was trying to write this week.
What do you think happened to Viktor's parents?
Feel free to discuss and/or let me know if I should try to finish my fanfic about this plot. 🤣

Time for another TOA theory:
Tumblr media
So like I said, my brain gears are turning because of this scene. Maybe Merlin thought Jim would be taller and older because the last time he met Jim, he was a half-troll in Camelot, but then again, why so specific with the 14 years?
Was it just his prophecy being a little off, or was it something else?
Merlin owns a time map, so it’s not unusual to assume he’d used it before the events in Wizards. In fact, it was probably in the long off past when Merlin himself was younger than we’ve currently seen him. Before Excalibur, Nimue, Arthur, and Morgana even. It’s posible he used it to go to the future for some reason and that was where he would have first met Jim the Trollhunter.
So what happens in 14 years then?
Is that how long it takes to make a new amulet? Could Douxie be trying to make one in the future when past Merlin shows up in time? Is that where Merlin would have originally gotten the idea for the amulet itself back in Camelot? And what if Hisirdoux is the one lecturing Merlin this time around-- oh how the tables would be turned!
Now, I don’t know if the new movie was going to have any major time skips in it, but if it does, maybe just maybe it’ll be a look into the future 14 years? We’ll get to see all our characters (who aren’t immortal wizards) a little more grown up, and see how they’re living their adult lives post-end-of-the-world genesis seals battle (hopefully).
This also made me think that the mysterious purple hooded wizard might just be future Claire, and that Lancelot might actually be some sort of future-version of Steve like some people were thinking, but-- I’m just going to stick with this one Merlin idea for now. 😅 Mostly because I still want to believe the mystery wizard could be someone else and because I don’t want Steve-Lancelot to die!
But, what do you guys think?

Okay, so I have a crack theory.
Upon rewatch #3 of Trollhunters last week, I noticed this tapestry portrait looked kind of like Zoe.
Tumblr media
There’s also a version of this picture on Eli’s conspiracy board, and the same girl is just above the “wizards” box. Coincidence???
Tumblr media
She has a small, thin figure, roundish face, pale skin, big eyes, brown-red hair, etc…  Just imagine the woman in the tapestry with pink hair and a punk outfit or Hex Tech polo, and the face still looks kind of like Zoe’s, right?
Tenyai once mentioned that she thought Zoe’s hair was originally brown, and I grabbed a similar color to this from Zoe’s eyebrows when I was working with colors a while back. Granted the hex tech lighting was a bit brighter than say the scene she was in during 3Below, where her brows look darker, but I’m going to roll with this shade of brown for theory purposes.
Tumblr media
Now back to the portrait, where there are a pair of small golden eyes coming out of the basket. One would say a basket big enough for a cat? And what immortal dragon-cat has gold colored eyes? Archie.
Tumblr media
Now this next part was throwing me, but it also looks like the portrait woman has a green tail. That brought on one of two thoughts… either this is some sort of changeling… or it is related to the Lady of the Lake (because crocodile logic?).
Tumblr media
She has green tentacles and was last seen yeeting Bular Team-Rocket-style into the sky from the forest line. The forest line as seen in the tapestry maybe? 🤔
Now these two things aren’t necessarily related to Zoe, but there was a discussion about her record store being named “Zimue” a pun off of “Nimue” the name for the Lady of the Lake.
I think the store is actually called “Zimoc Records” but I can’t figure out what that means, and I can’t get a good enough angle to see if that last letter is a “c” or an “e”. However, the yellow, green, red-outline color pattern and little “one-eyed” design can’t help but remind me of Nimue’s design in wizards, so maybe there is some sort of connection there after all?
Tumblr media
Which also brings me to mysterious purple hood wizard who if you look hard enough, almost looks like they have a teeth pattern on the sides of their mask. Teeth, that almost look like the monster-mouth design of the Lady of the Lake perhaps?
Tumblr media
They also appear to have the thin, small body shape of Zoe, plus what is perhaps the little hedge witch wand all the hex tech employees use?
I’ve seen rumors about who the mystery purple hood wizard could be, but nothing has been confirmed about them yet. I like to think it could be Zoe because that would be neat and I want to see more of her, but who knows?
If Douxie and Krel can make more mini hearts of Avalon, maybe the time-travel isn’t all done yet?
Now… I am reaching pretty hard for some of these, but I still needed to get it all off my chest. Do you think that could be an old portrait of Zoe or maybe the lady of the lake? Could there be a relation between her and Nimue? And could Zoe be the mysterious purple hood wizard? I am not sure, but these are the sleep-deprived questions 3 weeks of wizards on the brain has brought me!
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading all of that! 😅

Weak She-Ra Crack Theory
Do you guys think this Mystacore acolyte looks a little like Entrapta?
Tumblr media
I had a whole crack-theory with some gifs and pictures lined up to hypothesize this woman could have been Entrapta’s mom or something, but I don’t think the plot holes fill through with anything concrete. But... if you’re curious, then here it all is.
There are crack theories below this cut, and I am not proud of any of it!
Basically the Dryl and Mystacore episodes were back to back, meaning the two places are probably closer than most kingdom locations.
The citizens had specific “elf” or “goat” traits...
(Though, I suppose you could argue that for all Etherians...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She probably “died” when Light Spinner became Shadow Weaver, and judging by Micah’s age, Entrapta could plausibly be born around this same time... enough time to become an orphan princess with little memory of her parents.
Tumblr media
Like I said the theory is already weak, but this is where it begin to fall apart...
How is Entrapta a princess then?
Magic hair isn’t exactly akin to sorcery.
How is this sorceress even related to the mining kingdom?
Is Entrapta’s dad the king and since Entrapta isn’t magic she was just sent to live with him?
Also, the people of Mystacore seem like they don’t leave that often because of their collective shock with the war news.
(Though... the “No... it cant be” could be more personal to her if she left her daughter down there I suppose?)
Tumblr media
There could be a convoluted plot here to connect the dots, but I’m already grasping at too many straws as is.  😅
Plus... just because someone has tan skin and purple hair doesn’t make anyone related... Soda Pop, and other Etherians have those traits and none of them are related...
Tumblr media
Thus I negate my own crack theory... but still... there is a pretty strong resemblance between the two and we know next to nothing about Dryl and Entrapta’s past...
Her real parents probably were just in a mining and/or science-related accident, and had back-up robots prepped to help take care of their daughter in the case they died. Or else Entrapta made her own parents when she was tired of not having any of her own. Maybe the robot parents already existed and she was just adopted lol?
IDK! We may never know!
Tumblr media
I’m going to leave this here, but I am not proud of it, lol. I AM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO READ THIS! But if anything struck a cord with you, then tell me what you think of the crack theory anyway!  😅

Star Wars Episode IX and Jacen
So I am a tad hyped right now, but I have a new Jacen theory!
SPOILERS FOR THE SWCC19 PANEL BELOW, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
...
...
Okay, here we go....
Tumblr media
First off,  Naomi Ackie says her character’s name is Jana (Possibly Jaina) well... who else is named “Jaina” except the famed Solo twins of Legends lore?
Tumblr media
And when did we already get a new canon character with one of the twin’s names? Jacen.
We all know next to nothing about Jacen, but there had to be some significance in giving him the name and a more “human” look that that of a Twi’lek and other hybrids.
Tumblr media
But I’ll get back to that. On the topic of hybrids, let us not forget the possible “love of Lando Calrissian’s life”, a twi’lek woman named Kaasha Bateen. She was seen in the book “Last Shot” this time last April.
Tumblr media
Well, on the panel it was asked if Naomi’s character was perhaps Lando’s daughter-- to which a concrete answer was not technically made.
(BUT, LET’S BE REAL... DO YOU EVEN SEE HER CAPE!?)
All I am saying now, is that if Jacen is a Twi’lek human hybrid, why not Jaina?
Does this mean the two may team up in the movie? Is it hinting at some possible Jacen alongside the remnants of the New Resistance cast?
In other news....
I for one find a very familiar nostolgia with the new droid, D-O. I recall making some of my old Jacen droid companion doodles pretty bird-like before settling on the ID-10 model---Why? IDK... He just seems like a bird man to me? But the green would certainly match the hair of one particular hybrid boy in my opinion...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Coincidence? I sure hope not! Let my boy have this bird droid please!
Well... I may be hoping for too much with these Rebels tie ins, but it sure is fun to think about. Mark me down as hyped and dreading the next 8 months wait with great impatience!

Putting some kindling into my OK KO Theories fire:
So, if Laserblast, Professor Venomous, and Shadowy figure all do turn out to be the same person, I’m not going to be surprised, BUT---
Take into consideration the difference in POW card levels... This is my main reason for separating Professor Venomous with Laserblast/Shadowy Figure.
Tumblr media
And with the latest episode “TKO’s House”, There was a noticeable change when KO and TKO actually worked in perfect sync with one another:
Tumblr media
Vs when they weren’t:
Tumblr media
Now, I have a theory to add to the "Professor Venomous and Laserblast are brothers” bucket. They look similar, talk similar, and could be the same person if not twins... For this theory’s sake, let’s just go with twins.
I mean... it’s not the first time we’ve had a pair of mystery twins where one was more into training their brain and the other into their brawn...
Tumblr media
But back to theories...
Professor Venomous is basically the KO/TKO blend of perfect unity between his light and dark side... that is why he is so chill and still so evil. Despite coming to grips with himself on the inside, he still just genuinely wants to be a villain, and that’s okay!
Tumblr media
Now, Laserblast on the other hand... he wanted to be a hero and fought back his negative villainous impulses in order to obtain that dream! Suppressing and keeping his inner villain caged for years and years into his adulthood.
Tumblr media
But after the “sandwich incident” perhaps the reason he wanted to go in alone wasn’t some macho hero act, but recognition of the power he’d seen after what happened to Doctor Greyman.
Tumblr media
A similar experiment he had once seen by his scientist of a twin brother (Venomous). Perhaps he could never get them to work before then, so at a glance, he wasn’t worried until afterwards when he realized his brother finally got his invention with the glorbs to work.
Tumblr media
Laserblast went into the donut shop and the explosions happened, allowing Venomous to escape and rethink his ploys, while Laserblast succumbed to his TKO side as a way to survive the blast...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And eventually he got trapped.
So Laserblast and Shadowy Figure are essentially the Turbo fusion done wrong...
Tumblr media
And Professor Venomous is the Turbo fusion done right...
Tumblr media
I think I need to make a comic out of this or something... Maybe later I will... For now, enjoy more of my OK KO theories and go watch the show because its super cute, pure, and good, plus I am invested in these characters! =D

So, I have been watching OK KO all week...
And I have come up with a theory!
So… you all know how red suckers are forever branded in our collective brains to relate back to Laserblast now, right?
Tumblr media
Well… in the episode, “One Last Score”, Ginger offers KO a red sucker and while he was eating it (albeit viciously) she claimed he reminded her of her old candy thief partner.
Tumblr media
Now…all the double crosses at the end have me confused as to whether or not she actually did have a partner or not, but in the flashback, the partner did kind of resemble a perhaps younger Laserblast (minus the little cheek freckles, but I think that is just man stubble?).
Tumblr media
So… my theory is that Ginger and Laserblast are somehow related…
Maybe they were x-partners? (And taking the fall for Ginger actually set him on the right path to joining POINT—or if there is an “always been a bad guy undercover theory” floating around, or like a Professor Snape sort of twist, that might fit in this theory too.)
Maybe Ginger is Laserblast’s mom or grandma? (Less likely, but it has the right timing to go along with the theory?)
Maybe she just carries around red suckers and its a common candy in OK KO and I am overthinking this show WAYYY too much…who can say?
Feel free to speculate with me if you want!
