It's not perfect, but here's my late RokuShi Day manip. It's supposed to be a remake from a moment in the game (but I included Roxas in the "screenshot").
In the game, there's a lot of Cave of Wonders puzzle shenanigans. At one point, you find this one gem as, like, a key and Xion puts it in something to unlock the next part of the Cave.
Tumblr media
But here it's supposed to look like Roxas doesn't want her to do that, because he's worried about what might happen if she does. And I don't entirely blame him, since the Cave can be quite temperamental at times.
Anyway, happy late RokuShi Day, everyone!
Hopefully we get a Days Remake someday!

HAPPY ROKUSHI DAY!
Happy and Angsty Rokushi edits today for Rokushi day! Chilling at Destiny Islands, and having a marvelous time in the first pic. The 2nd pic Roxas has a headache, and Xion is pretty concern for him, since hes been overworking himself and hes needs to rest, plus needs to stop worrying so much about her as well 😭♥️

You Found Me
Summary: Because of a lack of replica bodies, Roxas doesn't come back during the Keyblade War. AU. RokuShi. Written for RokuShi Day 2022. Starts out angsty, but doesn't stay that way.
You Found Me
There hadn’t been enough replica bodies to bring Roxas back to life after the final battle—the only extra one at all was the one that the Riku Replica abandoned so that Naminé could live—and when Xion had first learned this fact, she’d first tried over and over to give up her new body for his heart, the way that Riku Replica had for Naminé.
But it was as if all of her friends had known that this was exactly where Xion’s mind would go, because one of the Guardians would watch her on a near twenty-four-hour basis (which was so annoying and insulting, and the former fourteenth member of the Organization made certain to tell everyone this as often as she was able), and if they saw her trying to leave her new form, they would push her spirit back into her body. So it really was no use.
Xion wanted to be happy that she meant so much to Axel, Riku, and Kairi already, and so many of these other pure souls—even as they dealt with the pain of losing Sora—but she found she couldn’t fully embrace that feeling. Not when the person she would have wanted to spend her life with wasn’t here, and when she had once chosen to return to Sora before Roxas, so Roxas could live just a little bit longer, she loved him so much.
And so Xion found herself falling into a depression… something that her friends tried their best to pull her out of in their own ways: Axel by introducing her to ice cream cake, Naminé by trying to teach Xion how to draw out her feelings on paper, and Goofy with his sage advice… but it just wasn’t enough, even though Xion would never let the Guardians of Light know that. She offered each of their attempts at saving her with as wide a smile on her face as she could manage, and wondered if she at all looked like Sora (another wound in her heart, in having lost him… in all of theirs), as she regarded them in such a way.
But since she was dealing with so much in being recompleted—a time that should have been the greatest of her short life—Xion supposed it wasn’t too surprising that she ended up trying to cope in a very strange way: she would go to funerals for boys who looked like Roxas (and only later would she regret that she had unintentionally intruded on another family’s pain). Because a part of Xion wished that somehow, some way, one of these boys would be him… And that if she could go up to the casket and cup his cheek, or something like that, True Love’s magic would bring him back to her.
But deep down, Xion knew it wasn’t that simple and that she was wasting her time. After all, Roxas hadn’t actually died. His heart was still within Sora’s, and he didn’t even have a body of his own, and that was the problem.
It was when Xion was once again at another funeral and wondering how she’d gotten there (could this perhaps be a good sign? That she was now awake enough to wonder that, when usually she was too numb to wonder such things and usually just went with the motions?), that she felt a presence sit down beside her, though Xion didn’t look to see who it was.
She figured that it was one of her friends, of course (probably one of the guys, since the form seemed bigger than that of Kairi or Naminé’s). So probably Riku or Axel, Xion would guess. And she assumed the boy—that she still did not look at, but she could kind of see them out of the corner of her eye—would either chew her out for being so inconsiderate here (and she wouldn’t even be able to blame him, if he did). Or he would lie and offer her his sympathy and support here, because of all of her trauma, even though he didn’t fully mean it.
The brunette was preparing herself for either option, and thus she was completely unprepared for it when the wise and seasoned voice of the Fairy Godmother said, “I fear there are too many forms I haven’t been able to restore lately. …But Roxas. I think he was always destined for another chance. Especially if it would lighten the heart of one so young like you. Would you like me to try and revive him?”
“Can you- can you do that?” Xion choked out. And then she wondered if that was the question she should have been asking here. Surely it was something about the World Order she should have been uttering, but then again: maybe not. Xion recalled now that everything about the Fairy Godmother seemed to be about if one believed in dreams. So, perhaps, there was a part of her that would want people to see magic, and even to again see the delight in all the worlds having once been one.
“Oh yes, my dear! I think I can. Though I’m afraid we must go to the Final World to make it happen. Sora’s heart may be lost to us for the moment. But when Sora began to disappear, for having abused the Power of Waking, I believe Roxas held tight to everything he held dear in the Realm of Light to keep him tethered here, and that led to his heart seeking shelter in the Final World. Now, come, come!”
Xion didn’t have to be asked twice. And the moment she saw the Fairy Godmother pull out her magic wand and begin swinging it over her head, the girl instantly closed her eyes—hoping that the next time she opened them, she might be wherever Roxas was at.
And she was.
When Xion blinked her eyes open, she saw a lovely world that was full of nothing but sea and sky—so very much like what Kairi had described to them all when she had recently gotten back from here a second time—and a massive blue star directly in front of her, that seemed to be calling out to her.
Xion wasted no time in running to it, and didn’t even wait for the Fairy Godmother who oddly didn’t seem to be here quite yet.
“Roxas, is that you?!” Xion asked, with a hand cupped over her mouth so Roxas could hear her better. But then she had to wonder why she was shouting, when this world seemed pretty quiet, all things considered. No, that wasn’t it. It was peaceful here, serene. And Xion could understand why hearts would choose to stay in this location instead of going On… but Roxas didn’t belong here. The former Replica knew it with every fiber of her being, and she wouldn’t allow him to stay here any longer.
“Yes, Xion. It’s me.” And there were tears in the Organization XIII member’s eyes now, that she hastily tried to wipe away, so that Roxas wouldn’t think she was upset to see him or anything like that. “I tried to come here when Sora broke a nature taboo and was sent away, since I didn’t. I thought maybe if I could separate myself from him, maybe I could later find a way to save him. But now… now I think I made a mistake and I just left him to suffer alone.”
There was a part of Xion that wanted to tell Roxas not to think like that at all—that if anyone was the nature taboo, it was her—that it had always been her—and she would gladly give up her body for him now, so that he could have one and go look for Sora right now, like he so desperately wanted to.
But she didn’t.
Because suddenly, it dawned on Xion how wrong it would be for her to give up her freedom for him, as much as she thought it would be for Roxas to be stuck in Quadratum with Sora, when it would help no one.
So instead, she laid her hand against this most precious star and made a rebuttal. “No, Roxas. I think- I think I’ve found a way for you to be your own person, too. Like you always should have been. And when you’re free, the two of us will look for Sora together. And we will find him. I promise.”
And right after Xion said the words, the Fairy Godmother finally appeared beside her in this land of Sea and Sky, grinning from ear to ear. “Thank you, my dear Xion. While I do mean to make your dream come true, as I think a massive injustice has been done you and poor Roxas here, it has to be a pure dream. The right dream. And I’m so glad you discovered what that is in your heart.”
“Yes,” Xion agreed, understanding now. Though she’d never fault Sora for what he’d recently done in saving Kairi, their group did have a bad habit of self-sacrifice, didn’t they?
And Roxas seemed to read her mind about that, as his star twisted in the air. “Why do I get the feeling your original plan to save me was something with self-sacrifice? Xion, I could have never stood it if you died in my arms again, or anything like that!”
“And you’ll never have to,” Xion reassured her best friend now, fighting against the guilt his words sprung up in her. Until his platonic love for Sora had made her see the light, she would have tried to find a way to throw herself under the bus for him again, if it had come down to it.
But all of that was past now. And thank the Light of Kingdom Hearts that it was.
“Xion, whenever you’re ready, put your hand atop mine, and Roxas should turn into the form you remember him as,” the Fairy Godmother encouraged her now with a wink.
“O-Okay!” And though Xion was suddenly a bit nervous that she’d mess this up, she also knew that she was positively glowing at the prospect about what was about to happen. Because she also knew that she would never let herself screw this up.
She placed her hand over the elderly woman’s, and let her mind think back to so many of her favorite memories with Roxas… the first time she’d ever seen him, and later when his name was the first thing she’d ever said… when he had let her use his Keyblade in order to protect her from Xemnas and Saïx… when they all had promised to go to the beach together to make her feel better… and so much more.
And then suddenly, Xion could feel that she wasn’t standing before a twirling star that would cast wind on her as it moved… but rather in the arms of a boy she loved. And it was certainly better than when they’d been this close together in Agrabah, when she’d unknowingly been taking his strength away from him. “Roxas?” Xion tried. A little uncertainly now, despite herself.
And to that, it seemed Roxas could only chuckle. “Don’t worry, Xion. I’m back. And we’re going to eventually go home after looking for Sora.”
And now it was Xion’s time to laugh, as she held Roxas all the tighter—with the thoughts of the Fairy Godmother completely forgotten—“That we are, Roxas. That we are.”

“The fact is that the main focus of the series is Sora and Riku; how their friendship develops, but also how they grow up.”
Not basic POV and science knowledge changing the framing of Roxas envisioning Sora and Kairi on the dock from a far back enough perspective to see heat waves dancing, later on asking Riku from that same dock what he's so afraid of ("losing something that's important") and Xion saying that she remembers things about "the two of them" instead of remembering things from Sora's POV...Not to mention, Xion talking about "a long time ago" doesn't really add up with Sora and Kairi (a much newer development) but rather Sora and Riku. Roxas bringing Xion a purple seashell so she can hear the sound of the waves and Riku telling Sora that "at least the waves sound the same" in the Dark World before they both sit down on the beach and regain a part of their relationship they thought they lost forever. Suddenly, Xion starting to look like Sora instead of Kairi is like a big coming out party that Riku has not consented to.
