Trailer park Steve AU part 61
part 1 | part 60 | ao3
cw: mentions of canonical minor character death
Chapter 14
It's twilight by the time they make their way to Rick's place — gnat clouds swarming, sun dipped low, Lover's Lake an inky smudge beyond the blur of passing pines. Steve’s not totally sure how they got here, this dusty service road that's more pothole than pavement; one minute he's bitching about doomed love and double VHS, the next he’s taking the scenic route to a drug den.
There were some important moments in between, he’s pretty sure.
He’s also pretty sure he blacked out somewhere around the moment the morning news reported that an-unidentified-Hawkins-student-who-very-well-could-be-Eddie-Munson was found dead in his fucking trailer.
Kinda difficult to resurface from that one.
Feels like his soul’s got swimmer’s ear.
Even hours later — after Dustin and Max burst into Family Video talking a mile a minute about how Eddie was alive and they needed to use the phones; after Ernie stupidly gave a reporter Steve’s name, swearing up and down on the TV that his neighbor Steve Harrington was an upstanding young man who would never do something like this; after they spent an agonizingly long afternoon lying low and taking backroads to avoid the cops because the cops probably suspect Steve of murder now, oh god—
“It’s this next right up ahead,” Max says from the back seat. There's a map spread over the bench between her and Dustin, and Steve blinks himself awake; gives her a nod in the rearview.
Beside her, Dustin’s munching on Twizzlers he stole from the store — window down, easy slouch, just way too chipper for the situation at hand. "So Steve," he says conversationally, "now that you're a fugitive, does that mean—?"
Steve cuts Robin a pleading look.
Robin reaches back and smacks the little twerp upside the head.
"Ow!" Dustin whines.
"Shut up, please," Robin smiles.
Max makes a sound like she's trying not to laugh and checks the map again. "Right here," she says, pointing. "After that weird tree stump."
They turn onto another road that could be generously described as paved, once, several decades ago, and eventually, the winding path lets out onto a slightly nicer street. Aging but cared for, Holland Road is a crowded row of little lake houses, trailers and shacks with manicured shrubs and chipped fence paint, weeds growing through the sidewalks beneath pristine American flags. Steve pulls into the driveway of #2121.
It looks abandoned. Dark inside and out, a truck parked on the curb that's likely been there for a while, its tires sagging in a mulch of old wet leaves. There’s an autumn wreath on the front door.
“You sure this is the place?” he asks as they climb out of the car.
Max sasses him for questioning her navigation skills, Dustin unsuccessfully tries to land a revenge slap on Robin — a move that earns him a retaliation wedgie and a wrestling match he was never gonna win — and Steve pops the trunk and feels a hundred years old. Feels every bit the exhausted dad trying to keep the family road trip together as he grabs his nail bat and slings his duffel over his shoulder.
"You planning to spend the night?" Dustin teases from Robin's armpit, still bent double where she's got him in a headlock.
"No, just-" he drops the bag at their feet with a grunt, “doesn’t hurt to be prepared.”
Dustin’s eyes bug out. “Is that a can of goddamn bear mace?”
“Keep your voice down!” Steve hisses.
“You keep your voice down!”
"Should I just go ahead and choke him out?" Robin offers.
Steve considers it for a second: knock 'em all out, stuff 'em back inside the car. Go do this shit quietly by himself.
He rolls his eyes and puts his hands on his hips.
"You're no fun," she pouts, but she lets Dustin go.
Dustin grabs flashlights and walkies out of the bag, passes them around the circle. They take a moment to steel themselves — huddled together in the dark, shoulders tense, the creepy house looming ahead. Sharp shadows stretch toward them. Croaking sounds creeping from the edges of the lake.
Robin puts her flashlight under her chin like she's about to tell a scary story. "Alright, kiddos," she says in a deep, ominous voice. "Let's go rescue Steve's ex."
Stunned silence in the sudden vacuum her words create. Steve lets out a tired sigh. Dustin’s jaw is on the curb.
“His WHAT?” Dustin shouts.
Oh, my god. “He’s not my ex."
Robin rolls her eyes and says ‘sure’ under her breath, and Max turns to Dustin, laughing. “You didn’t know they were a thing?”
“We’re not—” Steve tries again.
“What were you trying to get them back together for then?”
She seems genuinely curious. Dustin seems three seconds from spontaneous combustion. “What was I WHAT?!” he yelps, limbs everywhere. Reminds Steve of Eddie so bad it hurts.
“Okay,” Steve interrupts, clapping them both on the shoulder; drops his voice to a harsh whisper. “In case you two forgot, we’re here to rescue Eddie.”
“Who you’re dating.”
Dustin’s voice is small, disconnected, his gaze far away. Like he’s shellshocked.
“Jesus Christ.” Steve pinches the bridge of his nose. “I— Yes. No. It’s complicated.”
Max snorts at his answer, Dustin makes a series of faces like he's gonna need seven years to process, and Robin interrupts his crisis by waving her flashlight like a traffic guard, walking backward up the hill as she directs them toward the house.
“Why don’t we just go find him first?” she suggests, making a rainbow with her hands, flinging light through the grimy windows. “And then Stevie here can answer alllll your big gay questions.”
Steve glares at Robin. Dustin glares at him, narrowed eyes for a full ten seconds like 'yeah, you fucking better,' and then he takes off up the driveway hollering Eddie's name.

can i have you?
Rating: 18+ (minors DNI)
Word Count: 1700+
Warnings: Rick Sanchez x F!Reader, age-gap (older man/younger woman), unprotected sex PIV, angst, cunnilingus, fingering, canon typical violence, alcohol
“What’s that?” There’s a look of uneasiness painted on your face, a timid hand pointing at a seemingly dead robot that looks a little too much like Rick, well exactly like Rick, strewn across the garage floor in a puddle of oil.
Rick barely spares a glance over his shoulder before giving a gruff grunt.
“Morty pissed me off. It's a glorified family babysitter while I search for— while I focus on real shit.”
You think you’re gonna throw up. If that. . . thing, has been impersonating Rick for a couple of weeks then—
You can’t help the shriek that passes through your lips. Stomach churning, you don’t acknowledge the sound of glass shattering not 5 feet from where you stand. All you can do is stare at the shiny gold consisting of the robot’s body parts in horror.
“What the fuck is your problem?” Rick had already been in an irritated state like you’ve never seen. 5’o clock shadow, disheveled hair, and his lab coat seemed to be all that was holding him together. The mania had dissipated a couple of days ago, leaving nothing but piss and vinegar behind.
“I fucked that thing.”
You’ve never seen Rick surprised as he slowly turns to face you, brow near his hairline. He’s speechless for the first time since he met you, yet it's gone as quickly as it came. His signature furrowed brow and twitching eye returned.
“What do you mean you fucked it?” It's full of venom. You can see his shoulders tense, white knuckles gripping the edge of the work bench.
All you can do is stare at him, bound and gagged by your own dreadful realization. A beat passes before either one of you moves, Rick springs into action first. A string of explicatives leaves his mouth as he roughly clears the work bench, you cringe at the sound of clattering metal, but do not move. It feels like your feet have grown roots.
It all makes sense now. The soft touches, the kindness, the supportiveness. It couldn’t have been Rick, it wasn’t.
You can’t believe you didn’t realize it was a robot. His hands were cold, which was the only odd thing but Rick is odd. He normally runs like a space heater. You often wake up with all of your blankets on the floor, Rick starfished on the topsheet. He had been more tender though, attentive. You just thought time was changing him, making him softer. It seemed like family was making him more mellow, you thought maybe having you in his life brought out something in him.
The shame and embarrassment washes over you like a flood.
He picks up the robot with ease, throwing it onto the work bench like it weighs less than a feather. You’d be turned on in other, better circumstances. Your thoughts continue to race as Rick searches carelessly through boxes, throwing items over his shoulder at the workbench. He doesn’t seem to care if it hits the robot or not.
Rick attaches what looks like jumper cables to each of the robot's nipples. You snort, instant regret shoots down your spine as Rick throws a glare at you. He presses a button and the robot jerks to life, cringing as he moans through the electrical current flowing through him.
“I thought you let me die, asshole.” He squints at Rick. His eyes widen when he realizes Rick is in no joking mood.
“I programmed you to keep Morty busy not to fuck my gir— not to fuck her!” Rick thumb jabs in your direction, “Now I’m gonna fuck her, and make you watch.”
“Rick.” It's the first word you’ve been able to get out in a minute, the robot quietly sighs to himself during your staring contest with Rick.
“Fine.” It comes out through gritted teeth, and he rips the cables off. The robot jerks as the light leaves its eyes. You feel a little guilty, this somewhat sentient creature dying because of your actions. Then again, Rick programmed it to be him, and it does seem to want to die.
“What?” It's accusatory. Rick can’t believe the look on your face, you fucked a robot not him. Who are you to be on a high horse?
Your mouth is set in a grim line, tension oozes between the two of you. Rick’s chest heaves, he won’t break before you do.
“What exactly was your plan with the robot? You thought I wouldn't initiate sex?” You break, chewing on your lip. Rick’s eyes briefly flicker towards it before meeting yours again. His hands are balled into fists.
“S-sorry I expected you to actually use that thing in your head, you know the brain?” Your mouth falls open at his jab, “Mouth o-open again? Gonna stick the dead robot dick in it, sweetheart?”
There's tears in your eyes. All of the cautious trust you’ve built over the last couple washed away in a matter of seconds. Serves you right, you think.
He takes a swig of his flask, angry eyes betraying the calm demeanor he’s trying to portray. You can’t help it as the tears fall, you watch him soften a bit as you sniffle before the coldness returns.
“Tears d-don’t work on me bab— sweetie, or did the robot fuck you dumb?” You know he’s just being mean because he’s hurt.
It doesn’t make it any less upsetting though. You both stand your ground.
You play it up a little, calling his bluff. Sniffles turn to sobs, you watch as his resolve slowly begins to crumble. He shifts his weight several times before he tosses the flask over his shoulder and moves in your direction.
“C’mere,” his thumbs briefly wipe the tears off your cheeks before his lips meet yours. It’s uncharacteristically soft for him, a little too on brand for the robot. You push the thought to the back of your mind, enjoying how warm his body is pressed against yours.
He gets a little rougher. You gasp as your back hits the work bench, so engrossed in the feeling of his teeth biting your neck you didn’t even notice him guiding you over.
Rick’s hands are gripping your waist so tight you’re sure there’ll be handprint shaped bruises on your hips in the morning. The thought of it makes you moan, and he tenses slightly before continuing his way down your torso.
He gets his hands under your thighs. Calloused hands meet plush skin as he leverages you up on the counter, you yelp as you land on the cold counter.
“Gon–gonna make you forget all about him, sweetheart,” He mutters, rucking the material down your legs. He’s gonna show you how much he cares about you in the only way he can. He stops for a minute to grab you by the nape of your neck and kisses you, really kisses you. He bathes in the soft moans he manages to pull from you between kisses, continuing his previous goal as he bites his way down your neck and chest.
Rick drags your ass to the edge of the counter before dropping to his knees. He bites back a curse, his joints too old to be doing shit like that but damn if he wasn’t gonna worship you in a way that matters. Matters to him.
He runs a finger up your slit, savoring how wet you are for him after nothing but a couple kisses. It inflates his ego like you wouldn’t believe.
You mewl as he breaches you, two slender fingers twisting inside you. You arch into his touch, wiggling for as much contact you can milk from him.
“Please, Rick, d-don’t tease,” you plead, his eyes search your face. He curls his fingers up, hitting you where you’re soft and spongy, reveling in the way you melt in his hands. Rick uses his other hand to spread your knees wide. He can’t help the noise that escapes his throat at the sight of you.
He picks up his pace and you squirm, your hips chasing as much pleasure as you can. His cock presses uncomfortably against the seam of his pants as he feels you clench around his fingers. Beads of sweat pepper your hairline as you ride his fingers, becoming more desperate the longer he denies you release.
You practically scream the minute you feel his mouth on your clit. Your orgasm rips through you like a live wire. Your thighs shake, momentarily blacking out as the pleasure overwhelms you.
When you come down, Rick is staring at you intently.
“Can I have you?” It's loaded. You know what he means, he’s asking for permission before continuing but there’s more underneath this time. He might even be more upset than you about the robot fucking, and you know Rick’s no saint. Your lip quivers. His stare never leaves your face.
You nod. He’s on you faster than you can process post-orgasm.
He kisses you again. It's softer this time, one hand holds your jaw softly while the other undoes his belt. He desperately shoves his pants down as if having you will solve all his problems. Maybe it will.
Rick fists himself as he smears his cock against your entrance. You moan, overstimulated and fucked out. He holds himself back, it's not in his nature to go slow. Your hips buck involuntarily as he slides to the hilt, his head drops to your shoulder with a groan.
“Fuck, sweetheart, you’re so tight,” He pulls almost all the way out before thrusting back in without warning, “Bet he didn’t fuck you like this, huh?” He quickens his pace and you grip his shoulders, hips dragging with what little strength you have to meet him.
He thrusts as deep as he can to get you to writhe and whimper.
“C’mon,” He pants, “Just one more for me, honey, I know you can do it.” It's creeping up on you, twisting down your spine. He angles his hips to spear his cock into you just like you need, and it's enough.
Rick’s hips stutter as you clench around him, gripping your hips to deliver the brutal thrusts you need as you ride through your orgasm.
He comes shortly after with a grunt as you flutter along his length.
“I’d have fucked a robot sooner if it meant you’d fuck me like that.”
The glare is worth it.

Squirrels, Squirrels, and More Squirrels
Tumblr media
Summary: Daryl leaves reader squirrels as his way of affection. Set in season 1 sometime before Rick's appearance. TW: Squirrels being dead but otherwise, none!
Squirrels, squirrels, and more squirrels.
Squirrels outside your tent. Squirrels left by your laundry. Squirrels set in your designated place by the fire. Squirrels everywhere. At first you’d thought it was a coincidence. But soon enough there were simply too many to be a coincidence. Honestly, it hadn't taken you long to figure out who this squirrel culprit was. It was quite easy actually.
________________________
Actually catching the squirrel culprit, however, was proving to be notoriously difficult. He was sneaky, you’d give him that. It was like he moved with the wind, gone before you even realized he was there in the first place, slipping right through your fingers. But not tonight. Not tonight. You lie in wait inside of your tent, waiting for the soft crunch of fallen leaves or the silhouette of a certain redneck painting your tent walls. Tonight you’d catch him in the act. You would.
Just by the time your back was starting to ache from sitting in that same rigid position and your eyelids were threatening to slip shut with every passing second, the faintest of footfalls caught your attention. Your eyes popped open, alert. Just as you’d hoped, the dark shadow of the hunter passed over your ugly beige tent walls. A soft thud right outside the opening and the shadow melted away. You pulled yourself up and yanked the zipper open with newfound strength from your tired limbs. Now, you hadn’t actually thought through how it would go once you successfully caught him in the act. Daryl stared at you with wide blue eyes, looking reminiscent of a deer caught in headlights. A string of fresh squirrels hung from his belt, dangling low by his knee and his crossbow slung over his shoulder. The moonlight spilling in through the trees littered his cheeks and bare shoulders in a soft glow, giving him an air of gentleness that wasn’t normally present in the snarky man.
Your eyes flickered to your tent entrance, and sure enough, there sat a dead squirrel. Clean with only the small splattering of blood by its neck where you assumed one of his bolts had pierced. You bent over and grabbed it by the tail, the body falling limp as you held it before you. “Care to explain the sudden influx of dead vermin?” Your tone was a light tease, not wanting to scare the man away. No, that was the last thing you wanted. His throat bobbed and his nose twitched as he squinted at you, steely blue rolling over you in contemplation for an answer. His lips quirked to the side as his fingers played with the strap of his crossbow. “Jus’ help’n ya out,” came the coarse reply. He rolled his shoulders, unoccupied hand now rolling the hem of his blood-stained tank top between his index and thumb. Nervous.
Your head cocked to the side, resting your hand on your hip, “and how is that?” He scoffed, rolling his eyes in a dismissing fashion, “Y’ c’n hardly catch anythin’, so’s I’m doin’ it fer ya.” Your lips involuntarily formed a smile at his poor cover-up. While it was definitely supposed to piss you off, dismissing you as unworthy of catching your own food, your heart did a skip in your chest. He wasn’t completely wrong, you were much better suited for cooking and serving what he caught rather than doing the hunting yourself. It was something you never figured you’d need to learn how to do. “Hmph, I dunno if I should be offended or flattered,” you quipped. “S’pose I can find some use for these.” Daryl’s gaze snapped back to yours, brows pinching, “Really?” You nodded, “Yeah,” you flipped the tawny squirrel over in your fingers, “food, first off.” He returned the nod, teeth chewing at his bottom lip, “I mean, ‘course ya can,” he huffed and it almost sounded like a compliment. Hell, from him, it probably was. Silence fell between you two and you and you glanced back at your tent. Your not-so-comfortable sleeping bag inside was calling for you. “Well, I’mma get some hours of sleep in before mornin,” you murmured. You reached for the zipper, peering at him over your shoulder, “G’night, Daryl.” The redneck blinked at you before he fixed his posture and headed towards his own tent, “Mm, night,” ________________________
And when he’d found a steaming hot bowl of soup by his tent for him the following morning, he knew exactly who’d left it there.

alright let’s go over the junior year clues we got in the rick perry documentary thing (disclaimer: i’ve definitely missed stuff, but i think i got the big things, feel free to reblog and add with stuff that i missed though)
[at the bottom of this post I've typed out the decipherable words that plan out some combats and NPCs from Rick's screen. it's the most interesting thing but it's super long so it's at the bottom under a cut]
We get a blurry look at some minis. I’m seeing at least the PC’s minis, as well as what looks like Baxter the Gryphon.
Tumblr media
There’s some major shots of this battle. Includes a Baby mini, the Hangvan with some kind of laser canon on top, a stingray-esque monster that is likely Night Yorb (see below), something that looks like maybe an ice elemental or the crystal (see below), and some large bugs and shirtless people. Clearly set in the Red Wastes. Detailed info of the planning for this battle below.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of the shots had reference boards in the background. One is clearly for the Hangvan (see earlier screencaps), but the other is unclear. It looks like it includes some sort of tennis or tennis-adjacent sport.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Confirmation that Mordred Manor is a set piece.
Tumblr media
Finally, one shot showed Rick’s computer screen with some critical info about planning. I’ve put what I’ve been able to decipher below the screencaps. and under a cut, as it’s very long.

Sweet Temptation
Summary: Just Negan trying to seduce you into helping him get out of his cell.
Tumblr media
(Little disclaimer: English is not my native language, but I try my best, I promise x.)
.
.
You've been secretly visiting Negan for several nights.
In daylight, you act like another ordinary member of Alexandria, while at night, you betray your own people by sneaking into the infamous killer's cell to help him by bringing him food, or just keeping him company.
.
.
As soon as Negan sees that it's you who’s coming down the stairs, he stands up and walks over to the bars of his cell to greet you.
‘‘What do you have for me tonight, darling?’’ He tries to speak in his trademark flirtatious tone, but it's obvious he's defeated inside.
You hand him a sandwich wrapped in napkins through the bars.
He notices how your eyes light up as soon as you see him; just by feeling him close. My ticket to freedom, he thinks.
‘‘Thank you, honey. I’m starved tonight.’’ He takes the sandwich and unwraps it.
‘‘Mmmm. You're such a sweet, helpful girl, aren't you?’’ He winks at you as he takes the first bite.
You lean against the wall to watch him eat in silence. He looks tired and thinner. His physical appearance is beginning to decay. This Negan is only a shadow of his former self.
‘‘So... how you doin', Negan?’’
He sighs heavily and rubs his forehead.
‘‘I feel like I'm going insane. I just want to feel the sun against my face again, y’know?’’
He looks deep into your eyes, giving you the puppy dog eyes.
‘‘I'm tired of these bars. I'm tired of this cage. I want to be out in the world again. Just you and me, darling. Just you and me.’’
A chill runs down your spine when you hear his sweet words.
You approach the cell again and grab the bars with both hands. You look him up and down.
‘‘You look... tired.’’
He nods while still chewing.
‘‘I am, I am. They don't give me enough to eat. They treat me like I'm some rabid dog.  I'm going crazy in here.’’  He puts his face right up to the bars, getting very close to you. ‘‘I need to be freed. I really need your help, Y/n.’’
You can feel his warm breath on your face. You're deeply attracted to him, but still you’re not stupid; you can't help but distrust him. He has done terrible things to your people after all.
‘‘Look, I know you're hesitant. You have every right to be. I wouldn't trust me either. But you and I, doll... we have something special... We understand each other.’’
He gently brushes a loose hair out of you face. ‘‘This cell is killing me...’’
‘‘Negan... you know I can't do it.’’
He exhales in defeat and pulls back a bit.
‘‘Well... I had to try.’’ He shrugs and continues eating the rest of his sandwich.
After several minutes of awkward silence, he starts talking again:
‘‘So, you like coming down here to visit me, huh? What if Rick and the others found out you're here?’’
Your body tenses just thinking about it. He laughs at your reaction, at the sudden fear all over your face.
‘‘It's our little secret, ain't it?’’ He gives you a quick wink as he finishes his sandwich.
A mischievous little smirk curves your lips.
‘‘Exactly. This is our little secret. I hope you don't forget.’’
You put your hand through the bars and he hands you back the napkin. Then he continues talking with his usual charming tone:
‘‘You really enjoy these "secret" visits, don’t you? You enjoy visiting the big bad Negan in his cage.’’ He smirks as you grab the napkin from his hand.
‘‘I’m just a good samaritan doing her good deed for the day.’’ You answer him, mimicking his seductive tone.
His eyes sparkle with mischief as he looks at you intently.
‘‘Samaritan? No. You are much, much more than a samaritan, my dear, sweet friend.’’
He leans over the bars and kisses the tips of his fingers before touching your cheek with them. You enjoy deeply the touch of his fingers on your soft skin, even if it's only through the bars.
He looks down at you with a sly smile. ‘‘I think you actually like a little too much these secret meetings with the big, bad man, all alone.’’
You bring your face closer to his, losing yourself into his dark hazel eyes. His face just a few inches from yours.
‘‘Maybe I do.’’
‘‘Maybe you do, huh? And if I told you I know a way to make these secret meetings a little more... interesting?’’ He whispers, looking down at your lips.
Your eyes, full of desire for that man, drift down toward his lips and then back up to meet his piercing eyes.
‘‘Oh, really? Enlighten me, then. Please.’’
‘‘How about this...’’ He looks at your lips again and leans a little closer. ‘‘...a little less talking. A little more kissing...’’
Your heart beats as someone who knows they are doing something forbidden, something absolutely illegal. But you just can’t deny him.
You take a quick look over your shoulder to make sure no one else is there. And then, you turn to him to press your lips against his, for the first time.
He closes his eyes and kisses you back with passion. You can feel his tongue slide between your lips as he moves his hand around the back of your neck to bring you closer; as close as the bars allow you to be.
Afterwards, he slowly pulls away and looks at you, breathing heavily. His sly smile grows bigger as he leans into you and whispers in a deep, sultry tone:

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the empty room, Evil Rick sat alone in his couch, the only company being the dim glow of a solitary lamp. His frail fingers clutched a faded photograph, a relic of happier times, now serving as a painful reminder of what once was. The man in the picture wore a wide smile, surrounded by loved ones who had long since vanished from his life. Beth, Summer, Jerry and even his Morty.
Evil Rick was a man consumed by loneliness, a loneliness that seeped into his bones like a bitter chill, never relenting, never fading. He had outlived his friends, his wife, and even his own child, leaving him stranded in a desolate landscape of memories and regrets.
But perhaps the cruelest twist of fate lay in the betrayal of his own flesh and blood. His grandson, once the apple of his eye, had become a shadowy figure, lurking in the periphery of his existence, only to emerge when in need of something. Morty had exploited him, manipulating his emotions for his own gain, leaving behind a trail of broken promises and shattered trust.
Rick's heart ached with the weight of betrayal as he stared at the photograph, tracing the faces of those who had once filled his life with warmth and laughter. Now, all that remained was the hollow echo of his own solitude, a vast emptiness that threatened to engulf him whole.
In the midst of Rick's profound solitude, there existed one flicker of light, one beacon of warmth in the form of his neighbor, you. You were a young woman, your vibrant presence a stark contrast to the dull monotony of Rick's days. Despite the gaping chasm of years between you, you had extended an unexpected hand of kindness to the elderly man next door.
Every Sunday like clockwork, you would knock softly on Rick's door, bearing a homemade cake adorned with delicate frosting and sprinkles of sweetness. The gesture was simple yet profound, a small reminder that amidst the vast expanse of loneliness, there existed pockets of unexpected kindness.
For Rick, those Sunday visits were a lifeline, a brief respite from the suffocating weight of solitude. He would eagerly anticipate the sound of your gentle knock, his heart lifting at the sight of your radiant smile as you presented him with your latest culinary creation.
But then, without warning, the Sunday visits ceased, leaving Rick adrift once more in a sea of loneliness. One week passed, then another, and still, there was no sign of you at his door. The absence weighed heavily upon Rick's heart, casting a shadow over the one bright spot in his otherwise dreary existence.
He found himself consumed by worry, his mind plagued by questions that remained unanswered. Had he done something to offend you? Have you grown tired of your weekly ritual? The uncertainty gnawed at him, filling him with a sense of unease that refused to dissipate.
As the days stretched into weeks, Rick's anxiety reached its peak, his thoughts consumed by visions of your smiling face and the tantalizing aroma of your cakes. The way he would much rather eat you up. He longed to reach out, to inquire about your sudden absence, but fear held him back, fear of intruding upon your life or worse, of discovering a truth he was not prepared to face.
And so, Rick waited, his heart heavy with the weight of unanswered questions, his only solace the memories of those precious Sundays spent in the company of his kind-hearted neighbor. Desperation clawed at his soul, driving him to seek solace in the bottom of a bottle.
With trembling hands and a heavy heart, Rick reached for the whiskey bottle tucked away in the recesses of his cupboard. He poured himself a generous measure, the amber liquid glinting in the dim light of his solitary abode. With each sip, the harsh burn of alcohol seared his throat, momentarily numbing the ache of longing that threatened to consume him whole.
In the hazy fog of intoxication, Rick allowed himself to drift into a realm of bittersweet memories, his thoughts lingering on the warmth of your smile, the few times his hand caressed your thighs and your cheeks blushing instantly. He raised his glass in a silent toast to you, a silent plea for your return echoing in the caverns of his mind.
And then, as if summoned by the depths of his despair, there came a soft knock on the door, so gentle it was almost imperceptible against the backdrop of Rick's inebriation. Startled, he blinked away the haze clouding his vision, his heart pounding in his chest as he staggered towards the source of the sound.
Rick swung open the door, his breath catching in his throat as he beheld the figure standing on his doorstep. It was you, your eyes filled with concern and compassion.
"y/n," Rick breathed, his voice thick with emotion. "I–I thought…why are you here?"
A flicker of sadness passed across your features as you gazed upon Rick, your heart aching at the sight of the man you had come to care for. Without a word, you stepped into his home, the sadness disappearing from your eyes as you showed him a big smile.
“I visited my family for two weeks. Missed me?”
“You wish”, Rick snickered. He did miss you and he missed teasing you.
With a confident stride, Rick stepped aside, allowing you to enter. His eyes lingered on your figure, tracing the curves of your body with an unabashed hunger that set you ablaze with desire.
"I made this for you," you said, your voice betraying a hint of nervousness as you presented him with the cake.
Rick's lips curled into a sly grin as he accepted the offering, his fingers brushing against yours in a tantalizing caress that sent a jolt of electricity coursing through your veins.
"Thank you, baby," he murmured, his voice dripping with seduction.
You felt yourself growing weak at the knees under Rick's intense gaze, your breath catching in your throat as you struggled to maintain your composure.
"Rick, are you alright?" you managed to ask, your voice barely above a whisper, “You seem drunker than usual.”
"I'm more than alright," he replied, his voice low and husky. "Especially now that you're here."
You felt a blush creep onto your cheeks as Rick's words washed over you, the air thick with tension as you danced on the edge of something electric.
Rick was always drunk when you came over. He was always teasing you yet you could feel that something was never quite alright with him. Carefully you put the cake down before walking over to his couch and taking a seat. Rick’s eyes never stopped staring at you. Slowly he followed suit, sitting down right next to you. His knee pressing into your thigh while his arm laid on the couch, right behind your back. Evil Rick’s thought were spiraling, getting dirtier and dirtier by each second when suddenly–
“You have a family?” You found the picture Evil Rick had been staring at before.
For a moment, a flicker of pain passed across Rick’s face, his expression clouded with memories long buried beneath layers of loneliness.
"I did once," he murmured, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness. "But they're all gone now."
Your heart ached at the sorrow in Rick's voice, your own emotions swirling as you reached out to gently squeeze his hand in a gesture of comfort.
As you lounged on the couch, the air between you and Rick crackled with a potent mix of tension and desire. Rick sat with his arm draped casually over the back of the couch behind you, his legs spread wide in a display of relaxed confidence. You, feeling the heat of his presence, couldn't help but lean into his proximity, your body humming with anticipation.
In a moment of vulnerability, Rick's head began to droop, his exhaustion evident despite his attempts to hide it. With a heavy sigh, he leaned his head against your shoulder, his breath warm against your skin as he spoke.
"Do you ever wonder if some people are just meant to be alone?" he murmured, his voice tinged with a hint of melancholy.
Your heart clenched at the raw honesty in Rick's words, the ache of loneliness reflected in his soulful gaze. But beneath the sadness lay a simmering undercurrent of desire, a magnetic pull that drew you together like moths to a flame.
As Rick's head rested against your shoulder, you felt a surge of heat course through your veins, your body responding instinctively to his proximity. Despite the weight of his sadness, you couldn't ignore the overwhelming attraction that pulsed between you two, a primal urge that begged to be satiated.
With a hesitant touch, you reached out to gently caress Rick's cheek, your fingers tracing the lines of his weathered face with a tenderness born of longing.
"Some people may feel alone, Rick," you whispered, your voice barely above a breath. "But that doesn't mean they're destined to stay that way."
Evil Rick's gaze met yours, his eyes dark with desire as he drank in the sight of your flushed cheeks and parted lips. In that moment, the barriers between you dissolved, leaving only the raw intensity of your shared desire burning bright.
Unable to resist any longer, Rick closed the distance between you, his lips capturing yours in a searing kiss that ignited a firestorm of passion between you. And as you surrendered to the intoxicating pull of your desires, you found solace in each other's arms, two lonely souls finding refuge in the heat of your mutual longing.
As Ricks's lips met yours in a hot, sloppy kiss, a primal hunger ignited between you, consuming all reason in its fiery embrace. Your mouths moved in a desperate dance of passion, tongues intertwining with a fervor that left you both breathless and wanting more.
Your senses were overwhelmed by the heady scent of Rick's cologne, the rough texture of his stubble against your skin sending shivers of pleasure coursing through your body. Your fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as you surrendered to the intoxicating whirlwind of desire.
Rick, emboldened by your response, felt a surge of primal possessiveness wash over him. With a low growl, he pressed you against the back of the couch, his body pinning you in a gesture of dominance.
The air crackled with tension as Rick loomed over you, his gaze smoldering with unbridled passion. Your chests heaved in unison, the heat of your bodies mingling in the confined space between you.
Your breath caught in your throat as you gazed up at Rick, your eyes dark with desire. You felt an electric current coursing through your veins, igniting every nerve ending with a fiery intensity that left you trembling with anticipation.
“Do you want to–want to help daddy feel less lonely?”
Red tainted your cheeks as you heard Rick call himself daddy. If only he knew that this was exactly what you would imagine while playing with your soaking pussy almost every night.
“…Yes”
Swiftly Rick positioned himself between your legs, his hard on pressing against your crotch. As usual you were wearing a skirt, which both you and Rick were more than thankful for. It made everything easier–faster. His calloused hand pulled your skirt up. A growl fell from Rick’s lips as he pushed your thong to the site to take in your pussy.
“Fuck…b-been dreaming about this pussy, baby”, his hand reached down, his finger moving up and down between your folds, “Already so wet. I didn’t even do anything…yet.”
Grinning he pressed his thumb against your clit, circling, taking in the way you arch your back and move your hips to meet his finger on your most sensitive part.
His other hand ventured upwards. He ran it lightly over the curve of your breast before briefly circling your nipple. You unconsciously arched your back and a sigh was the only sound that escaped you. He felt you stiffen briefly. Reassuringly, he squeezed your waist lightly, simultaneously trying to show you that it was okay, but also to urge you to do more.
"It's okay, baby girl" he murmured in your ear and as his hand moved a little further down and now circled your belly button, Rick felt you relax again. His lips made their way down your neck. He pressed delicate kisses onto your heated skin and when you willingly tilted your head to the side to give him more room, he let his tongue glide along your artery.
Rick flooded you with stimulation. His thumb was still playing with your clit while he sucked on your neck and his other hand kneaded your tits. Without warning, Rick eased his middle finger inside you while his thumb continued to take care of your pearl.
“S–such a good girl, for daddy”, he cooed, his finger being clenched by your needy cunt, “So fucking wet for daddy. See? Took another finger in.”
Rick continued to fuck you with his two fingers while planting soft kisses all over your body “You’re doing good, baby”, he reassured and praised you over and over and over again. His raspy voice filled your head. Rick took his time prepping you because he knew that not everyone could simply take his cock. He wanted both of you to feel as good as possible.
Need flooded every fiber of your body as you reached down and tried to unzip his pants. You wanted him badly, now. As soon as Rick understood what you tried to do, he took it upon himself to free his cock from his ever growing pants. When you saw it your eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Rick Sanchez, your lonely old neighbor from next door, had a big cock, veiny and hard as a rock, pre cum leaking from its tip. Upon the sight your pussy clenched and pulsated around his fingers harder, something that Rick didn’t miss out.
“Hm, guess you like what you see”, Rick pulled his fingers out to wrap his hand with your sickly sweet juice around the head of his cock. “Daddy is going to–to reward you for taking his loneliness away.”
He pulled your legs over his shoulders, his thick cock now pressing exactly against your wet entrance. Oh, how he would love to just ram inside, his tip kissing your cervix as he pounds into you like a wild animal in heat, filling you up with his cum, breeding you like the good lil’ girl you are. Not now though, at least not tonight. Evil Rick felt something deeper, more than just sexual attraction and bent up rage, he felt an emotional connection.
Rick could feel your legs trembling against his chest as he eased into you with a slow space. Your cunt stretched around his cock, taking him – almost sucking him in. “Ahh…R-Rick–daddy.”
“‘s okay, baby”, he lowered himself, kissing your temple and pushing the rest of his length into your squelching pussy, “Ugh…fuck, y–you’re tight, baby, daddy’s g–good little girl.”
“yours…I’m yours, daddy.”
That was all Rick needed to hear. He began to thrust into you faster, harder feeling your walls tighten around him. He loved the sounds you two made together – his balls slapping against your ass, the wet sloppy sounds your pussy made everytime he pushed in and out, his own growls and moans filling the apartment.
He loved the way you squirmed and trembled under him, how you begged for him to fuck you even depper (though he was already hitting your cervix). He was filling you up completely, Rick was the biggest cock you’ve ever taken. Your hands reached out, grabbing his biceps, scratching him and leaving marks.
He loved how you made him forget his loneliness, the betrayal and rage rooted deep within him.
“fuck…ugh, oh…oh my god…ugh– daddy loves you…ah, that’s daddy’s good girl.”

Chapter 4
Warnings: Sexual situations
Tumblr media
When Rick noticed Daryl lagging behind after a couple more hours, he made the call to set up camp. You had expected tents and at least blankets but what you got were bedrolls and jackets. Daryl had told you to “sit tight” while he went hunting and Rick was setting up a perimeter.
You watched the other man with naked curiosity. You had no experiences with the dead, having been taken by Big Jazz just before the outbreak. You hadn’t even seen a “walker” in person. It was easy to decipher what the string and cans were supposed to accomplish. Perhaps if you studied these men enough, you’d be able to defend yourself should the need arise.
For now, you supposed, you’d just stay perched on that log and wait for Daryl to return. You could use the time to psych yourself up for alone time with the archer. You weren’t as good as the other girls at interpreting what customers wanted, but you usually came pretty close with a few adjustments.
Daryl was quiet and attentive. He probably liked a loud lover. One that would let him know he was making them feel good. He wouldn’t want to be called ‘daddy’ if he disliked ‘sir’ so vehemently. He liked being in control. He had taken the initiative to purchase you, ignoring Rick’s hesitance but you just had a gut feeling that he wouldn’t mind relinquishing that control on occasion, if for nothing more than a reprieve.
Tonight, you’d just present yourself to him and let him do as he pleased. He probably wanted to reprimand you for all your earlier misconduct and providing the full canvas would possibly save him from explaining himself to Rick, as long as you could keep the bruises hidden.
Thinking of being naked in front of him made your stomach flip. Men had been disappointed with your body before. Hopefully, you could convince him that you were worth keeping based on your performance alone.
You flinched when there came movement to your right, Daryl stalking in from the shadows with a few squirrels held by the tails. You’d never had squirrel before. There were a lot of things you’d never had but especially now when most depended on hunting or scavenging to survive, you had missed out. You had been fed instant oatmeal, protein bars, and sometimes dog food for the past however long it had been.
Daryl borrowed Rick’s knife, having offered his own up in trade for you. The guilt you felt hit you like a ton of bricks but you forced it down in favor of watching him work to prepare the meal. Each slice, each pull was done with a practiced precision. It was morbidly hypnotic, but soon there sticks through the rodents and they were being roasted over the fire on a makeshift spit.
Daryl was sitting across from you with Rick at his side. Each of them was engrossed in something: Rick with a map and Daryl with the bolts from his crossbow. Focused as he was, you would look up to see him staring at you over the flames. You were quick to avert your gaze so as not to offend him any more than you already had that day.
The silence continued until the food was ready to eat, Rick smiling and patting the archer on the shoulder in thanks. Then Daryl stood and made his way over to you, offering you one of the skewers.
“Thank you, Sir.” You said quietly, keeping your eyes downcast while accepting the meat. He didn’t go back to where he had been, actually choosing to sit a little closer to you on your right. The food didn’t really have a smell other than just…meat. Still, your mouth watered. Holding the skewer over your lap, you waited for Daryl to finish eating, which didn’t take long. Had the situation been different, you might have laughed at his lack of decorum.
“Ya jus’ gonna stare at it or wha’?” He finally said around a mouthful. You blinked at him, hoping he’d get the message without you needing to remind him. You hadn’t openly told him earlier. He had told you to eat and drink without explanation.
“She’s waitin’ for you to say it’s okay.” Rick offered, placing his own empty skewer on the ground next to his leg.
Daryl’s lip curled, his brows drawn inward. “Gave it to ya, didn’ I? Wha’ else would I wan’ ya ta do with it?”
Though you were skeptical of that being actual consent, you eagerly picked off a piece of meat and popped it into your mouth. It was bland but not in a horrible way. So much better than dog food. With a quiet hum of approval, you dug in, raising the skewer to your mouth to rip bites right off the source.
“I think she likes it.” Rick chuckled, watching you with a gentle smile.
When you noticed both men looking at you, the stick was lowered and you wiped your mouth on the back of your hand with a mumbled apology.
“S’fine. Jus’ eat, would ya? No one here gives a shit how ya do it.” Daryl tossed his empty skewer and wiped his palms on his thighs, no longer interested in you at all. “I got firs’ watch.” He said, leaning back against the tree behind him. Rick nodded and rolled the top of his bedroll down in a makeshift pillow before stretching out on it.
“Wake me when you get tired.” He yawned and shifted until his back faced you.
That left just you and Daryl, and suddenly the squirrel meat wasn’t at all appetizing. After staring at it for probably much too long, you held it out to him.
“Ya barely touched it.” He commented with a look that eerily resembled concern.
“I, um… I don’t need much. It was really good though. Thank you, Sir.” It was hard to suppress a flinch when he stood but he bypassed you and crouched in front of his bag.
“Give it ‘ere.” You placed the food onto his palm and watched with grand amounts of confusion as he pulled out a cloth and shook bread crumbs from it before he hastily pulled the skewer from the meat and wrapped it. “Ya can have it tomorrow if’n ya want. Or one’a us’ll eat it.”
You nodded, pulling your feet up onto the log and wrapping your arms around your shins.
“Ya tired?”
Was it a trick question? “No, Sir.” I’m exhausted.
Daryl closed his eyes, chewing on the inside of his cheek. “Ya sure?”
“Yes, Sir.” No.
His blue eyes, warmed by the soft glow of the flames, narrowed and gave you a once over. “Fine. Ya can sleep on tha’ when ya wan’.” He pointed to his own bedroll as he stood, going back to his tree in two long strides.
You were so utterly confused. Did he not want to fuck you? You risked a glance at him to find him staring off into the darkness over where Rick lay sleeping. You didn’t understand what he meant for you to do. Maybe you had it all wrong and he needed you to take control? The thought terrified you. You had done it before when customers asked but to initiate it without express permission seemed dangerous.
So, you waited.
Just as before, you would find him watching you when you chanced a look in his direction. His expression was unreadable. And so it continued like that well into the night, until you were fighting to keep your eyes open.
That’s when he stood.
Your back straightened, your body reacting, ready and as willing as you could be to do what he wanted.
“Gonna take a piss. Won’ be but a minute.” He said lowly, watching you for another moment before he disappeared into the darkness.
You stared at the spot where the shadows had swallowed him and waited, still nervous and unsure. True to his word, he emerged only a moment later, fastening his belt as he walked. He stepped over the perimeter line and headed straight for the tree to assume the same position as before, legs outstretched and crossed at the ankles with his back against the tree.
Surely, he was waiting for you. Things might even turn out worse for you if you withheld from him much longer.
With a sigh, you stood, taking small steps over to him and lowering to your knees next to his legs. He watched you with a curious expression but said nothing. Steeling your nerves to calm the nausea that attempted to bring up the squirrel, you threw one leg over his thighs to straddle him and began to unbutton the shirt he had given you.
“Whoa, hey! Wha’ the fuck ya doin’?” He pressed himself impossibly closer to the tree, his hands up as if in surrender. When you were finally brave enough to meet his eyes, you found them wide and full of panic. Not kindness, but panic.
“I thought…” You blinked at him, your small fingers frozen on the buttons of the shirt. “Don’t you want to fuck me now?”
If his eyes got any wider, they would pop out of his skull. “Wha’?! Tha’… tha’ ain’t wha’ this is!” He had yet to move, same as you. For a few more uncomfortable moments, you simply stared at one another before he cleared his throat. “Could ya get offa me?”
You did move then, scrambling back to your log in clumsy motions. “Did I…do something wrong, Sir?” He was purposefully keeping his eyes off of you.
“Ya should get some sleep.” He stood quickly and grabbed his crossbow, stopping to speak over his shoulder. “Gon’ check the perimeter.”
You opened your mouth but closed it just as quickly while he walked away. Once he was out of sight, you turned back to the fire, buttoning the shirt back up. What had just happened?

THE SHERIFF
rick grimes x fem reader
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: age gap, reader is 22-23, mentions of cheating, still married rick, shane, season two era, soft smut, reader is able to consent, mentions of alcohol consumption
She had been a few years younger than the sheriff ,
by a few she meant there was just about 6 years difference between them, but in her eyes it wasn’t that much of a gap besides his wife was only a few years younger than him what would be the deal with adding on a few more years.
It was post apocalypse now and hadn't felt it ideal to judge people for their lively hood decisions because no matter what everyone around them had their secrets, they had their fetishes and they had their preferences whether big or small it didn't matter.
he had a wife and kid so of course it wasn’t ideal for her mind to even wander in that direction, it wasn't the brightest idea for her to develop a crush on him as the world was ending.
Yet again it wasn’t ideal that his wife had screwed his best friend just a few months after his supposed death. In y/n’s eyes it was wrong and utterly embarrassing on Loris behalf for being so stupid.
she could practically feel the tension waving off the three, the way Lori was trying to cover her history with the somewhat clueless Rick who had just learned the world was ending.
she had her own set of fantasies about him, she loved to watch as he was out training shooting with the members at the farm, the way that he was forceful but yet calm with each person.
she liked the fact that he was the group leader, the way he was able to keep them safe and solve their problems with that mind of his.
It always seemed to bring a set of butterflies inside of her when she saw him, she felt like the universe was forcing her to cross her legs to hide the pressure that was building up in her.
Carol noticed the way she'd look at him she noticed the longed hazed out glances, the way y/n had seemed to lose her words around him whenever he started to show her something.
well Daryl did to he noticed everything so it wasn't a shock that he had picked up on the obvious tension that he was sure the others should've noticed by now, but he was so silent he hadn’t even mentioned the solid tension between Rick and her.
he kept to himself on the hill, hunting and doing whatever the hell he seemed to do when he had all the god damn time in the world.
Carol had fondly mentioned it before when she could see the glimmer in her eyes every time she looked at the man but y/n shook it off claiming that she was just nervous of screwing up.
that she was afraid of being kicked from the group for a small mistake which was partially the truth but not the reason she couldn't keep her eyes off of the sheriff.
y/n had practically passed out as she watched him step out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist at the CDC building, the way the water was resting on his chest and the way his hair had been slicked back ever so perfectly.
it made her melt inside like she was a teen girl.
Carol had noticed the way y/n seemed to get so damn flustered over everything he did, or anything he said to her even just a small glance from his eyes set her off.
she mostly kept to her own business and never spoke about the anticipation between the two to the others, besides what the did in the shadows was their own business.
Now it was them left at the campfire while the others had been invited to sleep inside for the night, besides they were on watch so it was easier for them to sleep outside anyways.
y/n looked up at Rick who had been staring softly with his pinkie finger in his mouth nibbling on the thinly growing nail while his eyes seemed to be laced on her like bees to a hive.
She took a sip from her cup that had been filled with tea as a courtesy from nice blonde girl herself who was resting up inside the farm house way aways from them.
she felt the warm liquid slip down her throat before she spoke,
“Shouldn’t you keep an eye out for walkers? make sure we don't get another ambush?” She asked bringing the mug back up to her lips gulping down another sip licking her lips clean.
“Place is dead and it’s quiet no walkers are gonna be out here unless it’s stragglers”
rick spoke pulling his finger away from his mouth as he still seemed to stare at her, “why do you keep staring?” She asked trying to ignore the fact she seemed to like the way his eyes were sinking into her.
“i'm not staring” he replied watching as her eyes widened and she took another sip of her tea, he licked his lips reaching out to pull the mug away from her resting it down on the log next to him.
“don't you ever think about it? i mean the end of the world” She asked as she looked up at the sky watching as the stars glimmered brighter than she had ever seen in the city pre-apocalypse.
"i think about it all day" he took a swig of the water and watched as she took in a deep breath trying to find the right way to start a conversation about the age gap between them,
"is our age gap weird?" she asked suddenly and she felt the feeling of the question start to rush to her cheeks, it started to fill her up with the embarrassment of the foolish question.
“well no I don’t think so, it’s well about six years, maybe five when you turn twenty three next month” he smiled at her watching her place a smile on her face as she looked down trying to hide the raging blush that seemed to fill her entire face.
“You know my birthday?” She asked crossing her legs because she could feel the butterflies starting to churn back inside of her just from the subtle idea someone remembered something about her.
“I know pretty much everything, I’ve been asking the others about you to see how we can make you more welcome in the group” he admitted fixing his posture while he looked at her, still with the lust lacing through his eyes while he stared at her.
“really?” She asked shyly, she hadn’t had anyone put in that much effort for her not even men older than him had seemed to care this much about how she felt or if she felt 'welcomed' enough
She couldn’t help but feel her thighs starting to force themselves together as she squirmed at the own demise as her panties started to soak, the cotton underneath her jeans had been pooling with her own juices from the way she was watching him stare at her,
her heart skipped with each flick from her eyes looking him up and down like he was just the best god damn thing she had ever seen.
he had taken a notice the way she squirmed at even just the small action he took, his eyes couldn’t linger away from her for more than a damn second, it was like she was mesmerizing.
Like a siren in the deep blue of the ocean that was calling to him, he could tell she was nervous or maybe even turned on from him, probably a mix of both if his mind was being honest.
"no one else really seemed to pay attention" she mumbled underneath her breath hoping that he hadn't heard her pity remark about the others and their lack of consciousness to each other.
"i'm just used to letting the others walk over me and boss me around i never really have a say like you do" she admitted to him watching as he cocked his head to the side softly.
she knew she was starting to ramble about, letting her thoughts spill from her brain and roll out on her tongue,
"usually i'm the one who's given the orders and i just do what i'm told" she admitted and watched as his expression changed, his jaw shifted a little like he was frustrated at what she said.
"don't let them get to you, you see the way they tried to trample all over Daryl about looking for Sophia? it's quite just the doing of the fact we're all trying tor survive"
rick spoke taking a sip of his water canteen letting his eyes flick back up at her, she smiled at him as she took the last sip of her tea and set down the empty tea cup on the log beside her.
she watched as he moved his seat so he could sit next to her, she felt the side of his holster digging into part of her thigh because of the way they were pressed against one another.
he turned to look at her with a dim expression, before his hand rested at the side of her cheek he watched a smile arise on her face as he kissed her gently so he could taste her.
she could taste whiskey and peppermint on his tongue, he smelt like the crisp woods around them, her hands wrapped around the back of his neck to take in more of the kiss.
without even a slight struggle she was pulled into his lap, he felt her thighs squeeze together as she tried to create some sort of friction through the denim of her jeans.
he had helped her by guiding her hips with his, she hummed out against his lips sending a soft vibration through both of their bodies.
She fiddled at the buttons of the dusty tan shirt he was wearing, she wanted to feel him pressed up against her and it was like she couldn’t wait.
he could feel the eagerness of each button that came undone in the shirt until it was left in the dirt behind him, his chest pressed against hers.
It was his turn to strip her shirt and he hadn’t even hesitated to pull off the matted black tank to leave it on the ground with his shirt.
he had lifted her up from the log, taking her into her personal tent, he placed her down against the floor of it and used a pillow to prop her head up.
“you deserve more privacy” he remarked at her and watched as she smiled and ran one of her hands throughout his brown strands.
She tore off his pants feeling as he did the same to her, with nothing but undergarments on her body she couldn’t help but buck her hips up just so she could get more friction from him.
he kissed from in-between the valley of her breasts until he reached her navel, he peppered over her body and it made her hum.
it made her smile with each and every kiss that was ever so delicately placed on her skin.
“rick” she whispered aloud and she watched as he flicked his eyes up to look at her, his thumbs rubbing circles at the sides of her waist.
“Need you so bad” she mumbled out to him and watched as he gently tugged at the sides of her panties to pull them off.
He tossed them to the corner of the tent, his hands moved to her back and with one gentle sweep of a motion she felt her breasts fall free.
his own boxers were slipped down his thighs until they slipped off his legs and tossed away, she practically choked on her words when she saw just how large he was.
he rubbed at the sides of her cheeks before he had lined up with her, just to give her a little taste he had rubbed at it making her squirm.
“please rick, need you so bad” she pleaded aloud as her body practically arched up from the bed, with a simple motion of his hips he thrusted into her filling her entire cunt up with him.
Her nails clawed at his back with each and every thrust, first gentle and once she got the full feel of him she couldn’t seem to stop begging for him just to let her have it all.
she bit down on her lip to hide a scream that was going to rip from the deep pit of her throat from how well she felt him inside her.
He shushed her softly as he heard a struggled silenced whine come from between her lips,
with each and every whimper that came from her mouth he wished that he could hear the full thing because even just a sliver of her voice was driving him crazy.
he pressed his body even closer against her so that he could be able to thrust inside her easier, he felt her nails leave streaks on his shoulders.
he whispered sweet-nothings to her until he could feel her walls clench because she was on the verge of spilling over.
“fuck I think I’m gonna-“ she paused at the feeling of his thumb rubbing at her clit making her gasp and let out a croaked moan.
“come on, come for me princess” he whispered to her feeling his cock twitch with each motion of her walls clenching against him.
Within a few seconds they both felt the peaceful and sudden bliss wash over them, her juices sputtered on his abdomen and he had spilt a top of the skin on her stomach.
He watched her breathing rise and she whined at the his gentle touch as he used a canteen to get rag in her tent damp and he wiped away the mess he made against her skin.
he slipped her bra and underwear back on along with the jeans he had taken off of her, leaving the button undone he tossed a blanket over her.
he kissed the top of her forehead before getting himself dressed and laying with her, his hands wrapped around her waist and she smiled.
she closed her eyes and let out a soft yawn,
-
she woke up sitting up to see that the place next to her was cold, he must’ve gotten up hours ago.
she rubbed her eyes and looked for her t-shirt but it was no where to be found, she tossed her blanket off of her as she rustled through her bag.
she cursed softly as she realized that the must’ve left the shirts by the camp fire last night, she peaked her head out of the tent to see the group surrounded by a morning fire.
she smiled awkwardly before sticking her head back in the tent, she hadn’t seen the shirt by the log where they left it, and Rick wasn’t visible.
“fuck” she mumbled as she sat back in her tent, even if the shirt was there how could she explain how it even ended up there with his own son and best friend sitting there just a few feet away.
she tossed on her jacket and even though her bra was still visible through the gap she had almost made her way out of the tent but she stopped once she looked to the side of her tent.
there her shirt was strung up and she smiled as she slipped the tank back on and was finally able to make her way out of the tent.
he must’ve gotten their scattered clothes back together before she had woken up, she took a seat on the log next to Daryl and watched as he was cooking a snake over it.
he had even offered y/n some but she passed on the offer with a nice reply and smile watching as his eyes flicked back to his cooking breakfast.
“next time could you two keep it down? you and Rick are going to draw coyotes or walkers” she felt the words whispered in her ear practically trickle down her neck sending her shivers.
she gulped and put back the smile on her face so no one would catch on, “you know about that?” she whispered back leaning closer so that she didn’t have to speak as loud.
“What don’t I know about this group?” He remarked and pulled the snake away from the fire and began to start skinning it.
he placed a piece of the cut up meat on his knife in his mouth chewing it before he spoke again, “he’s up in the house if you need him”
y/n placed a rub on the top of Daryl’s head before standing up from the log and making her way up the hill until she finally reached the house.
Even though they had been here for weeks out of respect she still knocked before she entered just to alert that she was entering the house.
Rick was sitting in the living room drinking a glass of whiskey that Hershel had poured for him, Hershel was speaking with his daughter in the other room while ricks eyes flicked up to look at y/n who felt like she was out of place in the house.
“morning sunshine”
he spoke and watched as she took a seat next to him, he offered her a sip of the whiskey but she denied with a soft shake of her head.
“you hung my shirt up in the tent” she chuckled and watched him smile as he set the finished glass onto the coffee table in front of them.
“I did” he replied feeling as their legs touch from the way he purposefully had spread his, she reached out for his hand and felt as he clenched her hand gently as he took a gaze at her.
They didn’t have any clue what was next, they didn’t know how his son would handle this even though he knew the tension between Shane and them was belligerently obvious.
“whatever happens you don’t let them walk all over you, even if I’m not here” he spoke and peppered a kiss a top of her head.
“understood sheriff”

Not sure what you’ll think about this but Eddie cuts across a cemetery on his way somewhere in a hurry and bumps into reader who was visiting someone’s grave. They have instant chemistry, but then he never sees her again and can’t find her, come to find out, she was a ghost.
Tumblr media
Dear Betty Anon, this is amazing. I love ghosts. I am obsessed with them. If you knew me in real life you would see just how obsessed I am. I also am a lover of cemeteries so this was the perfect request. My mind is swimming with future ideas of these two because I really don't want to just leave it here.
Warnings: None besides mentioning drugs/Eddie being a drug dealer and reader being a ghost.

The Shortcut
The dead grass crunched beneath his boots as he cut through the trees. It was dark out, so late that if anyone spotted him in these woods they would think he was a phantom of some sort, going out on his nightly haunt.
He didn’t mean to be late for the deal  but the van wouldn’t start when he tried to leave earlier. It was probably just a dead battery, a quick fix that he could easily take care of in the morning, but in the moment it felt like it was the end of the world. He had a reputation to uphold of being the best drug dealer in Hawkins, besides Rick.  He hoped whoever was waiting for him wouldn’t give him a hard time.
The trees got fuller on this part of the trail, almost completely blocking out the light of the moon. He wished he had brought a flashlight with him when he left, but he had been in such a hurry that he had never even thought about it.
These woods were creepy enough during the day, but at night the creepiness got turned all the way up. The trees here were nearly bare from the autumn weather, full of sharp angles that reminded Eddie of skeletons. Each branch casted a shadow on the ground that looked like arms reaching out of the darkness at him. The sleeves of his jacket got caught on his jacket, the woods seemingly trying to pull him deeper inside.
The hair on the back of his neck stood, he couldn’t tell from what though, either the chill or the fear. He fought the urge to turn around constantly to make sure there was nothing trailing him. He reasoned that if there was something scary behind him then he’d just rather not know.
His foot caught on a thick root cutting across the trail, sending him flying towards the ground. He felt like one of the girls that faceplant in a horror movie and then refuse to get up in time to continue running from the slow walking killer. He pushed himself up with an annoyed groan, the dirt and sticks cutting into his palms and making them sting.
At this point he wanted to turn around and give up. He knew if he did then Rick would have his ass for it, and if the people he was meeting with were sketchy enough he’d rather not have them coming after him too. People get pissed off when it comes to their drugs.
That’s why Eddie thought he was good at this job. He looked scary enough most of the time for people not to want to mess with him. They see leather jackets, long hair, and chains and decide they shouldn’t mess with him.
On the outside he was tough, on the inside he simply was a man that was about to piss himself from how scary these woods were.
Wayne had always warned him away from these woods, especially at night. His uncle had spouted some stories: saying he had proof that Hawkins was a cursed place. Eddie usually took his warnings for granted, blaming the man’s old Appalachian superstitions that he never grew out of once he moved to Hawkins years ago.  He was surely wishing he had listened tonight though.
The trees finally broke to the back of the old side of the Hawkins Cemetery. He groaned internally, he had completely forgotten that the trail would take him here. The graves in this part were more aged than the other side, less cared for and not as fancy. It sent an ache through his chest to see how abandoned these graves were, long forgotten by those who still lived.
The fog rolled by his feet, reminding him of a horror movie with a cheap fog machine. The air in the cemetery had an electric feel to it, probably due to the comically large full moon that seemed to take up half the sky.
He hadn’t been here in so long; hadn’t visited his mom’s grave in years. This place always made him feel like he was being watched, like there were eyes behind these headstones watching his every move.
Eddie pushed forward along the trail, weaving throughout the rows of headstones. He silently hoped no one happened to drive by and spot him and call the cops on him for trespassing, especially with his supply on him.
All he needed to do was follow the trail and make it to the big iron gates that protected the dead from the living. Eddie thought it was kind of stupid for the gates to be there when there was a trail that led directly inside but he guessed that not many people knew about the back entrance.
He was halfway down the path, about to go down another curve when movement out the corner of his eye had him pausing. Eddie froze, head snapping in that direction. All the stories that Wayne had told him raced through his mind, every possible monster he had ever heard of suddenly becoming a real life possibility.
Instead of a monster, he saw you. You sat on your knees in front of a gravestone, legs bent and head dropped low. Your face was shielded by the night time shadows. Eddie thought it was strange to see you there, alone in the middle of the night. He heard you let out a sniffle, the unmistakable sound of you crying.
He thought that maybe he should just ignore you and go on his way, pretending that he never saw you here.
But it was late, and dark. And you were obviously distressed and alone in a cemetery. Eddie didn’t think of himself as much of a hero, but he didn’t feel right just leaving you all alone without checking on you first.
“Hey! You okay?” He called out, still keeping his distance.
You jumped, head slowly lifting up to look at him. His breath caught in his throat when he took in your face. You were so beautiful. Your face changed from sadness to surprise as you stared at Eddie with wide eyes.
“Sorry,” he apologized, walking closer to you like a moth drawn to a flame. Each foot moved automatically in front of the other to bring him closer to you. “I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.”
He stood behind the stone you sat at now, switching his weight between both feet while he waited for you to answer. You gave him a strange look that he couldn’t decipher, like you were completely in shock that he was talking to you.
Up close, you were even more beautiful. Eddie would even dare to describe your beauty as haunting. The moon lit your skin in an unnatural way, making you the brightest thing in this dark place. You wore a white dress and polished heels. Your choice in clothing made Eddie concerned. It was definitely too cold to be out in that.
“I’m fine,” you said slowly, mouth forming the words in an odd way. You stood gracefully to face him.
“What are you doing out here alone? Aren’t you cold?” He asked, about to strip off his leather jacket to hand over to you. Eddie was shivering under his jacket, the temperature seemed to drop at least ten degrees.
You put a single hand up, stopping his movements. “I’m not cold.”
“Are you sure?” Eddie checked with a raised brow and pursed lips.
You just nodded silently at him, eyes looking him up and down. You seemed skittish, like you wanted to run.
“You’re just dressed a little funny for the cold,” Eddie commented and then immediately regretted it. Because of course he would meet a pretty girl and then blow it by telling her she’s dressed funny.
Instead of getting mad, you smiled a wide smile at him. “I think my dress is funny too. Definitely not my favorite.”
Eddie laughed, wondering why you were wearing it then but he didn’t ask.
“Uh, sorry for your loss,” he said, pointing down at the headstone you stood in front of.
You shrugged a shrug of indifference. “Thank you.”
“You, uh, come out to the cemetery in the middle of the night often?” Eddie asked awkwardly.
You laughed, looking surprised at yourself for it. “Unfortunately.”
Eddie knew he wasn’t doing a very good job at flirting but he made you laugh and that had to be a good thing. Maybe you would think his clumsy flirting was charming.
“I’m Eddie Munson,” he introduced himself, sticking his hand over the headstone to shake yours.
You just stared at his hand with a sheepish smile, making no move to shake it. You did tell him your first and last name as well though. Eddie dropped his hand and shoved it into his pocket, embarrassed.
“Are you from around here? I’ve never seen you before.” He would definitely remember you.
“Lived here my whole life. How about you?”
Hawkins was a small town, where everyone basically knew everyone else in some way and he didn’t recognize you at all. Your last name seemed familiar but he couldn’t place it off the top of his head. You looked to be the same age as him but maybe you were homeschooled. Why would you lie about growing up here?
“I moved to Hawkins when I was twelve. I live with my uncle down at the trailer park.”
“Oh, Hawkins has a trailer park?”
Eddie looked at you confused. Of course Hawkins had a trailer park. It had been there forever. Everyone knew about it since it was the butt of many jokes around town.
You noted the confused expression on Eddie’s face. “Sorry. I don’t get out much,” you explained shyly, tucking your face to your chest.
So, you were definitely homeschooled or something, Eddie thought.
“Shit,” Eddie hissed, looking down at his watch. “I’m late for something I’ve got to go. Do you wanna walk out with me?”
“I think I’ll stay here a little longer,” you said with a sad smile. “It was nice to meet you, Eddie Munson. Thanks for talking with me.”
“Maybe I’ll see you around sometime?” Eddie asked as he backed away, careful not to trip over a headstone and embarrass himself even more in front of you.
“Maybe,” you said, watching as he left.
Eddie turned, making his way to the tall cemetery gates. He turned to cast one last glance at you but didn’t see you anymore. He figured that maybe you were hidden behind a stone and he couldn’t see you from this angle.
The gates were locked with a chain and padlock, making Eddie have to jump over the fence. It was almost too tall and he barely made it over, nearly ripping his pants on a metal spike. It made him wonder how you even got in in the first place. There was no way you could have made that jump without hurting yourself in a dress and heels. Eddie thought that maybe you walked down the same path he did, but that path started in the trailer park that you didn’t seem to know about.
There had to be another way then.
Eddie made it to his deal super late but ended up calling Rick from a pay phone and catching a ride with him so he wouldn’t have to walk back through those damn creepy woods.
Tumblr media
A week later, Eddie found himself thinking about you a lot.
You were kind of weird, but in a good way. He felt bad for leaving you in that cemetery alone, he should have stayed with you to make sure you were safe. He wished he would have asked for your number or something so he could check on you to make sure you made it home alright.
He had even mentioned you to Steve and Robin but neither of them had heard your name before. They also thought it was weird that you had been out there alone in the middle of the night but the conversation changed as quickly as it started to something else with the topic of you long forgotten.
Eddie found himself walking through the same trail, heading back to the cemetery. You said you went there a lot and he was hoping to catch you again, hopefully get to know you more. You seemed a little scared last time he was there, he wished you’d want to talk to him again.
He practically ran through the woods, narrowly avoiding the same root he tripped over last time.
When he reached the cemetery he headed straight to the grave stone you were at last time. Disappointment filled him when he realized that you weren’t there that night and that he had walked through the creepy woods for nothing.
The stone looked old, with dirt and moss covering most of it. He shined his flashlight on it, noting the crack that ran through the top of it. Dead weeds surrounded the base of the stone, clearly allowed to overgrow in the warm months.
This one had been here for a while and looked to be long abandoned. There were no flowers, or pretty decorations like the other graves. He wondered how old it was, illuminating the year listed on it.
Eddie was about to give up and make the journey home when he happened to glance down at the name and froze, disbelief sinking in when he read your name on the headstone.

[Rick Grimes x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: Finding the right moment is a hard thing to do. Especially when it involves the man who's in charge.
WC: 4226
Category: Slight Fluff, Pining
Fair warning, he might be slightly OOC, but honestly, who cares. It's Rick mf Grimes. Just look at his arms, you'll be fine.
『••✎••』
It was a strange feeling, really.
Having him so close and yet so far away.
You could almost taste him on your tongue, feel his skin on your fingertips. The heat of his breath on your neck. His lips ghosting over your own. It was torturous to be so close, but not close enough.
You ached for his touch, longed to run your fingers through his hair. He was so tantalizingly close. His mouth inches from yours, the smell of whiskey and gunpowder clinging to his clothes. You wanted nothing more than for him to take you in his arms and hold you close, but you couldn't bring yourself to say the words. You didn't want to make him uncomfortable or make him run.
You weren't even sure if he wanted you the way you wanted him, but the way he was looking at you… The way he was touching you… The way his lips hovered so close to yours like he wanted to kiss you but couldn't. He had to know how you felt, right? He had to feel the same way you did.
Maybe you were imagining it all; maybe it was just wishful thinking, but it was enough to drive you mad.
He was so close and yet so far away, and you knew that if you didn't do something about it soon, you would lose your mind. Maybe that's what pushed you over the edge, the thought of losing him before you even had a chance to have him. Maybe that's what drove you to finally take matters into your own hands.
"Rick."
Your voice was barely a whisper, but it was enough to capture his attention. He looked up from his cup, his blue eyes locking with yours, and suddenly, it felt as if the world had stopped spinning. Time stood still as you looked into each other's eyes, neither of you moving, neither of you breathing.
He had never looked more handsome than he did at that moment. The sunrise danced across his face, casting shadows over his features. His eyes were so bright and blue, you could get lost in them forever. His hair was mussed and disheveled, the way it always was when he'd been out hunting or fighting the dead. You'd never seen anything more beautiful in your life.
"Yeah?" He said, his voice barely a whisper. He was still in a sleep-like state, but he was slowly coming back to himself. He rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand as if to wake himself up, but you could tell he wanted to stay awake. "What's goin' on?"
You weren't sure what to say. Your brain had stopped working the moment you locked eyes with him. All you could think about was him, his smell, his touch, his taste… You were so distracted that you hardly even registered his question. All you could do was stare.
"It's Judith, isn't it? You heard her cryin'?" His voice was groggy, his words slightly slurred, but there was still an undertone of worry in his tone. "I know, it's awful. It's her new thing now. I haven't slept more than an hour at a time for weeks."
Rick's words were muffled as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, but they were enough to break the spell that had been cast upon you. You blinked rapidly, shaking your head as if to clear your thoughts.
"No, Rick," you said, taking a deep breath before continuing, "it's not Judith. It's you."
He was looking at you with those beautiful eyes, but the longer you looked at him, the less you wanted to look away. It felt like an eternity had passed while the two of you stared at each other, but in reality, it had only been a few minutes.
Rick raised an eyebrow as he continued to stare at you with a confused look on his face. He opened his mouth to speak, but he was interrupted before he could say a word.
"What do you mean, 'it's him'?" Michonne asked, causing you to jump in your place. You hadn't even noticed her arrival. She must have been standing there for some time now, watching the two of you stare at each other, but you were too busy being captivated by Rick's eyes to even notice her. "What's going on?"
You weren't sure how much Michonne had overheard. Maybe she'd only heard Rick's question, or maybe she'd heard the rest of your conversation. All you knew was that there was no way you were going to confess now. Not in front of Michonne. You would never hear the end of it.
"It's nothing, really," you said, trying to avoid eye contact with the both of them, but you could feel their gazes burning into the back of your head. "I just… never mind."
Rick looked at you curiously as he tried to piece together what you'd been saying, but you didn't want to talk about it anymore. You just wanted to leave, to escape his questioning stare, and maybe Michonne's too. She looked like she had a lot of questions.
"You sure?" Rick asked, but you didn't answer. You simply shook your head, letting him know you weren't going to elaborate on your cryptic words before you turned and left without another word. The embarrassment was written all over your face, but you were just thankful that Rick hadn't pressed the issue.
He looked a bit confused, but he didn't follow you. He knew better than to pry. Besides, it was early, and the last thing he wanted to do was start an argument when he was just trying to have a peaceful moment to collect his thoughts before Judith started up again.
Michonne, on the other hand, was far less concerned about your wellbeing and far more concerned about prying into your private conversation.
"What was that all about?" She asked as she approached Rick, her voice laced with intrigue as she sat down next to him. "Did she say something?"
"Nah," Rick replied, his gaze following you as you walked through the camp, "You didn't give her much of a chance."
Michonne sighed as she rested her chin in the palm of her hand. She was still clearly intrigued by your behavior, but Rick had already moved on. It seemed like the whole ordeal had gone over his head. Of course, it did.
Rick was always aware of his surroundings. He always had a clear head and was always paying attention. Even when he was asleep, he was still analyzing everything. Yet, he was completely oblivious to your feelings for him. For an ex-sheriff, he sure was stupid when it came to romance.
You'd been infatuated with Rick since you first met him, but at the time you'd only been friends with him and haven't realized it. But lately, these past few months you were finding yourself constantly daydreaming about him.
You always got lost in the little things, the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled, the sound of his laugh, the way he would play with Judith, or the way his lips would quirk up when you teased him… You’d always find yourself staring at him, imagining what it would be like to kiss him, and it was becoming almost too much.
You'd always felt safe in his presence, like nothing could ever hurt you while he was around, but lately, you felt like the closer he got to you the further away he'd go. You loved his company, you craved his presence, but you couldn't help feeling like he was slipping through your fingers. Especially when everyone else in the world seemed to involve themselves in your private conversations.
Rick had told you that you could always talk to him about anything, but sometimes it felt like you couldn't talk to him about anything without someone overhearing. And even when you did have a chance to talk to him, you couldn't seem to find the words. Your mouth would open, but nothing would come out. The only thing you could seem to do was look into his eyes and fall deeper and deeper.
You still found it a miracle that he never called you out on it. You found it hilarious that he always thought he was so smooth, but he had no clue. Ah, the irony of it all.
"Are you sure it was nothing?"
You jumped at the sound of his voice, quickly turning to look at him over your shoulder. His eyes were narrowed, and his lips were pursed as he tried to read your face.
What happened with leaving it alone? Rick always left you alone when you were in one of your moods. He knew you didn't want to talk, so he just left you alone. Why was he trying to get you to talk this time?
"I mean, it sure looked like something to me," he continued, his voice gruff as he scratched at the back of his neck. "Was it, uh, somethin' I did?"
You weren't sure if he knew it or not, but he was beginning to make you feel guilty. You hated that he felt like he needed to apologize for every little thing he did, like he needed to apologize for existing. This man always had his head buried in the sand while lifting others above him.
Honestly, it was exhausting.
Rick looked at you like a wounded puppy dog as he awaited your answer, and you couldn't help but sigh. It was impossible to be angry with him, especially when he was being so sweet, but he needed to stop acting so guilty about everything all the time. He takes the blame for everything.
"No, Rick, it's not you," you assured, smiling weakly at him as you turned around to face him, "It was something I was going to tell you about, but I just…"
"Michonne? It was Michonne, wasn't it?" He said, eyes squinting as he looked at you. "You hesitated to tell me, and you didn't want Michonne to hear, so you just… decided to leave instead?"
Excluding his obliviousness to your emotions, Rick was a very smart man. Even in his sleepy state, he could put two and two together to get the most accurate answer possible. You weren't sure if you liked that or not.
"Yeah," you admitted, shrugging as you looked down at the ground. You had no idea why you were embarrassed. You could tell Rick anything, right? Yet, for some reason, you just felt… weird.
"So…" he began, pausing for a moment to clear his throat, "What was it that you didn't want Michonne listening in?"
Rick watched you expectantly, clearly curious, but you felt like a deer in the headlights. You knew he would never push you if you really didn't want to talk about it, but he was also one of the most curious people you'd ever known. He wouldn't leave it alone.
It was one of his best traits, honestly. He was always trying to figure everything out, to put the puzzle pieces together and see the big picture. You wished he would take his own advice.
"Well?" he said, interrupting your train of thought, "What were you trying to tell me?"
"It was…" you began, swallowing the lump in your throat. Your cheeks flushed, and your hands began to sweat, and you couldn't bring yourself to look at him as you spoke, "It was something that's been on my mind a lot lately."
Rick was looking at you expectantly as he awaited your explanation, but you weren't sure how much you wanted to tell him. It was still hard for you to find the words.
Rick sighed as he leaned back, resting his back against the nearest tree. His blue eyes locked with yours as he waited, the light from the sun illuminating him like some sort of mythological deity. He was breathtakingly beautiful.
You wanted to lose yourself in his eyes forever.
"You can tell me anything, you know?" He said, his voice low as he tried to catch your eye, but you refused to look at him. "I promise, I'm not gonna judge you."
"I know."
You were so grateful for him. He always listened, always supported you, always had your back, and you never felt more at ease than when you were with him. He was the reason you were alive, and you knew it. You owed him everything.
"Can you look at me?"
You were too embarrassed to look at him, so you shook your head, refusing to meet his gaze. You knew if you did, you would lose your nerve and run off like you always did. Rick always tried to coax you out of your shell, but you'd never had a problem doing it on your own before.
Rick sighed, but you could tell he wasn't annoyed. He was just tired.
"This really is hard for you. I thought you would've said it by now."
"You don't even know what I'm going to say," you replied, finally looking up at him. His hair was tousled and unkempt. The sun was still low in the sky, so his eyes looked like the deepest oceans. You wanted to drown in them. "Maybe it's better if I don't say anything."
Rick didn't reply, but he didn't stop looking at you. His eyes were so gentle, so soft. They were inviting, like the sweetest embrace, and you couldn't help but be lulled in.
"No, it's not." His voice came out like warm silk as if it had been dipped in molasses and was being rolled over your skin. "Trust me, it's not."
You scoffed, rolling your eyes as you turned away from him, "I know what you're trying to do, but it's not going to work."
"And what's that?" he asked, but you refused to meet his gaze.
"Acting like you already know what I'm going to say," you huffed, crossing your arms.
"What if I do?"
You shook your head as you tried to avoid eye contact, "No, I don't think you do. I think you're just hoping I'm gonna say it so you don't have to."
Rick let out a deep sigh, but you didn't dare look at him. "And you call me the oblivious one."
You laughed, finally looking at him. "Well, you are."
"Am I? Am I really? Because it sure feels like you're avoiding the question."
"Oh my God, Rick, I'm not avoiding the question." You laughed again as you rolled your eyes.
"Then why won't you answer?" He asked, looking at you expectantly. "Why won't you look at me?"
Rick looked like a child as he stared at you, his lips turned into a pout as he continued to play his part. You couldn't help but laugh again, but this time it was much louder.
"Stop trying to act like you already know—"
"—What? Like your eyes won't wander to my lips every time you're talking to me? Like I don't notice you biting your lip every time I smile at you? Like I don't see the way you stare at me when you think I'm not paying attention? Like I don't hear you when you wake up in the middle of the night and have to go take a piss?"
You weren't laughing anymore.
Rick was so close to you that you could feel the heat of his breath on your neck. He had you cornered, trapped between him and the tree behind you. He was so close that if you leaned forward, you'd fall into his arms. You could feel his hot skin through the thin material of your shirt. Your heart was beating rapidly in your chest, and your mouth was dry, and you were barely aware of the words you were saying.
"W-What are you talking about?" You stammered as you took a step back. Rick followed your movement, and you nearly stumbled into his chest. He placed his hand on the small of your back to steady you, but it sent tingles down your spine.
"You're a terrible liar and you're bad at hiding your feelings," he said, leaning down to whisper in your ear, "And I've always been good at reading people. Especially you, Miss Know-It-All."
Your heart was beating so hard, you were sure he could feel it pounding against his chest, and it felt like your knees were going to buckle at any second. Rick had backed you into a corner and was inches from your lips, but he had yet to close the gap. He was still waiting for your response.
"This is so embarrassing," you whined as you pushed against his chest, trying to push him away, but he held firm, not moving an inch.
"Why?" he asked, looking down at you with his soft blue eyes, "What are you so embarrassed about?"
"You… You know why," you mumbled, your face growing warm as he continued to look at you.
"Do I? I have to say, I'm a little confused here. Why don't you tell me? Why don't you use your words?"
You couldn't meet his gaze as you continued to play with the hem of your shirt, but Rick wasn't going to let you hide. He placed his hand under your chin, forcing you to meet his eyes. Even after he confessed that he could read you like a book, he still wanted you to use your words. Maybe it was just because he wanted to see you squirm.
Suddenly, your throat allowed you to speak. Argue even,
"You knew this entire time and yet you never said anything? You let me dance around it when all along you knew how I felt. It's… humiliating, really. I can't believe you let me embarrass myself this entire time. You should've stopped me sooner."
Rick was looking at you with those beautiful eyes of his, and you felt like he was peering into your soul. He was trying to find the words to say, trying to find the right thing to say to make you feel better. But what was there to say?
"I thought you weren't going to judge me," you continued, sighing as you looked away from him.
"I'm not judging you," he whispered, leaning down to look at you, "I didn't judge you. Look, what I said moments ago, that was me teasing you. Truthfully, I was just waiting for you to say something. I mean, I could see it in your eyes every time you looked at me, and I… I just…" He let out a deep sigh, running his hand through his hair before he began again.
"I wasn't sure how you felt about me. I had a feeling, a feeling I decided to play on, but I wasn't completely sure. I wasn't sure if it was just my imagination." He shook his head as if to clear his thoughts before continuing, "And the last thing I wanted to do was scare you away. I was trying to let you work up the courage. I didn't want to rush you. Like I said, I know how to read people, and I was waiting to hear what you had to say."
He paused for a moment, looking into your eyes with that gorgeous gaze of his. He seemed to be searching for something in your expression, some sort of indication that you wanted him to continue. It made you feel like you were being examined under a microscope.
"I'm not very good at this," he finally said, his voice low as he continued, "The talking part, I mean. I don't do it well. It's the reason why Lori and I had issues in the end. We never had good communication. But I… I didn't want that to happen to us. Not with you. I care too much."
"So, technically, I was right," you said, trying to hide the smirk on your face.
Rick laughed, a deep and throaty laugh, as he shook his head. "Don't be so smug. You got your way."
"Yeah, I did."
Rick had his hand on the back of his neck as he looked at you expectantly, "So, what's your plan now? What are you gonna say? You were so against me acting like I knew what you were going to say that I'm just curious to know what you're going to say now. Do I want to hear it?"
You couldn't help but laugh. Of course, he'd want you to use your words. He'd tease you mercilessly if you tried to go silent again, so you decided to take the initiative and just say it already.
"I concur," you replied, smiling brightly at him. "There. I used words."
Rick chuckled, a soft and quiet sound that sent shivers down your spine. You could get drunk on the sound of his laugh alone. It was so gentle, so genuine. It was as sweet as honey, and you never wanted him to stop laughing. You wanted him to laugh forever.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," he said, rolling his eyes, "I get it. You got what you wanted. Can I ask what you were going to say before this all happened?"
"You said it already," you teased, raising an eyebrow at him, "Better than I could’ve."
Rick sighed as he looked down at you, "I really hate how clever you are sometimes. You always have a comeback. I just… I really want to know."
"Really? You want me to repeat myself? Hear me stutter and sweat all over the place? Just stand there looking like an idiot while you stand there looking all cool and collected?"
He laughed, a deep and throaty sound, as he placed his hand on your back. "Well, you already did that, but if you'd like to try again, I'd love to hear it."
You rolled your eyes, letting out a huff as you looked at him with narrowed eyes. He was standing so close to you, yet so far away. All you could do was stare at him as he looked down at you. It was a lot harder to confess your feelings when his gaze was piercing into your soul.
"Can you move?" You asked, motioning to his arm that was pinned between the two of you. He didn't reply. He simply looked at you for a moment, taking in your features, before moving his hand away. He was being gentle like he was afraid to touch you. His fingertips grazed your skin ever so slightly as he retracted his arm, sending shivers down your spine, and you were overcome with the urge to take his hand and hold it in yours.
"Are you going to make the first move now? Or am I gonna have to do all the work?" He asked, his lips quirking into that mischievous smirk you knew so well.
"Oh, shut it."
"Only if you-"
"Rick! I thought I heard your voice." Gabriel's voice cut through the air like a knife, and it took everything in you not to groan. You hadn't even heard his approach, and he was so loud it almost felt as if you'd been caught doing something you shouldn't. "I'm glad I found you."
"Yeah?" Rick said, clearing his throat as he turned around. He shot you a glance, an amused smile on his face, before turning his attention back to Gabriel. He really did know how you worked, didn't he?
"I've been meaning to talk to you for a while," Gabriel said, looking down at the ground with a sheepish smile on his face. He had been around long enough to know when to keep his mouth shut. "There's been something I wanted to discuss with you."
Rick furrowed his brow, glancing at you for a moment before nodding, "Yeah, of course."
"Would it be okay if we spoke in private?"
The shared look between the two of you was enough to burst into laughter, but you managed to bite your tongue. Rick, however, wasn't so lucky. He let out a quiet chuckle as he shook his head, trying to hide his amusement.
"Yeah, of course. No problem," he said, placing his hand on the small of your back as he began to walk away. He shot you another look over his shoulder, that smirk still on his lips. "I'll be back, okay?"
You wanted to tell him that you would be waiting for him, that you wouldn't leave without him, but you couldn't. Gabriel was already shooting you a questioning look from across camp, and you really didn't feel like explaining anything to him. You weren't even sure if you wanted to explain anything to yourself.
So instead, you watched as Rick walked away, his eyes locked on yours. His gaze burned into your skin, and it took everything in you not to run after him. You wanted to tell him that you'd be waiting for him. You wanted to tell him that you weren't going anywhere, but you couldn't find the words. So, you watched as he disappeared into the woods with Gabriel at his side
Once he was gone, you sighed, letting your head fall as you rubbed your temples.
Always so close, but yet so far away.

imagine rick taking you into the little basement jail cell late in the middle of the night, and making negan watch
I hope it's alright that I wrote a short blurb for you and yeah it made me a little horny hihi 👉🏼👈🏼
"Rick, what-", unsteadily you let him drag you into the basement where Negan has been living for months.
Just 10 minutes ago Rick came storming into your bedroom and without a word he grabbed you and is now pushing you anything but gently into the room.
Yes, you've already seen Rick angry. At you, too.
But as you turn to face him now, even you flinch.
It's the middle of the night and only the moon in the sky illuminates the anteroom and Negan's cell.
Negan himself is sitting in the shadows and you barely recognize him, but instead you have a perfect view of Rick's tense body and how he hisses, eyes locked on Negan, "Strip down and bend over the chair."
You freeze and frown, "Please what?"
A harsh laugh from the shadows makes you avert your eyes from Rick and stare into the cell instead.
"Rick, she ain't gonna do it, huh. Guess you're not man enough for her after all," Nagen's voice is mocking and so slowly you understand what this must be about.
But before you can get a word past your lips, Rick jerks his head around to you and growls, "I swear you don't want me to do this for you."
Your heart skips a beat.
Probably Negan was full of shit again and now Rick wants to prove him wrong.
Everyone knows Negan is talking bullshit, but it gets under Rick's skin every time, and Negan constantly flirting with you is anything but convenient.
In a sing-song, Negan warbles, "Ri-ick." And that's when your boyfriend makes a move toward you.
He'd do it. You see it in his blue eyes.
So you take a step back and reach for your shorts and panties.
Shivering, you pull them over your legs and step out of the pool of clothes.
With soft knees, you walk over to the chair and bend over it so Negan can see between your legs.
Your face gets all red with embarrassment and as Rick moves to stand next to you, it's finally not just shame that makes you blush.
"That's my pretty girl," his voice is rough and dripping with satisfaction, "Want to show him what a good girl you are for me, huh?"
Whimpering, your head falls forward, "Yes, sir."
