Todays sundayfishsketch theme was "epipelagic fish". The Ribbon Halfbeak definately belongs into that cathegory.
Many of you heard of the flying fish "Parexocoetus".
But the Ribbon Halfbeak, is still known very little!
Whilst Parexocoetus mainly glides on its pectoral and pelvic fins,
Ribbon Halfbeak twists the middle of its body, in order to glide on its pectoral, dorsal, anal AND caudal fin, giving it more surface.
🎀 In typical Panda dummy luck, of all the orphaned animals to find on the side of the road with no owner, I found a FISHY! Σ('◉⌓◉’)
Some dummy evil person left them in a tupperware with almost no water in it!!! On the sidewalk!! Thank goodness we found it on a happenstance walk! :;(∩´﹏`∩);:
What name should we go for them? We don’t know their gender so anything’s really game! Maybe something silly like Angie for dummy Donna! Ehehe!
