Omega Squad Headcanons

A/N: I'm still not convinced I'm great at HCs lol. But here are my inner thoughts for the Omega boys. I miss them always. And love them with my entire heart and soul!

Warnings: 18+ Always. Minors DNI; Some Fluff, some smut. A little mixture.

Niner bought a ring right after your first date. He was in love and prepared to settle down right then and there. 

Atin and Fi gave him so much shit for months. 

When Niner proposed, you obviously said yes. But you also knew because Fi is TERRIBLE at keeping secrets. 

Niner is a “my wife” kind of guy. Talks about you ALL the time. Never shuts up about you.

You take the lead a lot. The first time he saw you fully naked, he nearly cried because he thought you were a literal angel.

Fi, though… He didn’t think he’d ever get to settle down. Honestly, he wasn’t even sure he wanted to settle down until he met you. 

Your ability to crack jokes and keep up with his humor nearly brought him to his knees.

Darman still teases Fi that you’re funnier. 

The first time you ever made him laugh, all three of his brothers kept giving him knowing smirks but he tried his best to ignore them. 

One night, the two of you were sitting on the edge of a building, overlooking Coruscant, one of Fi’s favorite views, only second to you, you were teasing each other and the way you looked at him, gave him courage to finally kiss you. 

“Atin and Darman have a running bet that you wouldn’t ever get the courage to do that.” You look up at him, amused.

“I hope you bet on my side.” He acts scandalized. 

You chuckle and hop up. “I always bet on the winning side.” 

He smirks to himself for a minute and then glances after you. “That means you bet on me, right?” 

You bite your lip with a chuckle as Fi gets up to follow you.

“...Right?” He asks again and you burst into a fit of giggles.  

You and Atin argue a lot. Not in a toxic way. But in a both stubborn kind of way. Atin does mean stubborn in Mando’a, afterall. 

The first time you fuck, it’s in a back alley because he dragged you back there to argue away from the group. 

But you ended up kissing him and he pushed you up against the wall and then deepened the kiss and made you get yourself worked up, grinding on his thigh. 

When he kissed you back, you laughed and said “I knew it.” to which he responded “Shut up. No you did not.” And then fucked you. 

Darman was intimidated by you when he first met you. 

You argued with Atin on his behalf one time and he saw stars in his eyes.

While he can definitely hold his own, he was touched that you came to his defense.

When you finally told him how you felt, he felt like his brain was short circuiting.

“Are… are you sure?” He tilts his head.

“Yes, I’m sure.” You smile at him and his entire body goes warm and fuzzy. “Do… you like me?” 

“I do. Very much.”

Don't ask me why I'm having SW feelings bc I don't know where they came from, but I'm back on my Eldritch!Last Fullier Force bullshit.

I don't normally even like horror, but for some reason I've got this ghost story in my head of Kast Fullier's ghost testing Etain, except it's more like the Force is wearing him as a cloak. And as they have their exchange, his face slowly morphs closer to what it was at the time of his death, tortured to his grave by Ghez Hokan.

Etain still calls him "Master".

His face ripples again, until the stream changes and it's a face Etain only knew from holos. Rhosaar, her master's master, whose dying blood stained the belly of a slave ship. She smiles gently at Etain, her throat still slit.

Etain calls her "teacher".

And finally They become a shadow from millennium before Etain was born- but one who knows her path better than most ever could. Targe Vizsla extends his open hand, his eyes gone as black and vast as galaxies.

Etain calls him "ancestor". It's presumption on her part, but his laugh would be kind if it didn't echo so.

A ghost The Force hands her back her lightsaber, and she accepts it with all its weight. These are the lessons the Purge taught her, that she is learning still.

(There is no Death, there is the Force.)

(technically, no non-Forse sensitive should be able to see this, but at the same time it would just add to the vibes if one of her family is there watching all this like "what the fuck what the fuck what fuck-")

Mandalorians.

I love them and I never want them to be anything but the Best Space Barbarians.

(They are the Best because their language contains no grammatical gender but does include a word for ‘baby carrier’. They have their priorities on straight)

They spend their downtime punching each other. They live in hostile places so they can punch the scenery. Their forebearers settled a planet with the biggest dragons they could find. They love kids. They used to have gods and then stopped worshipping them because the gods weren’t pulling their weight. The language they spoke seven thousand years ago is completely comprehensible to a speaker today. There was one guy who did medical experiments on kids a hundred years ago and they immortalized his name as ‘The Worst Kind of Monster’.

They love cake. They do wild shit with field rations. There is not a hot sauce in the galaxy that can make them flinch.

They are not a race, they are a creed. Their forebears were adopted spiritually by 7 foot simian tyrants and all of them carry a piece of the old bastards in their soul even though the Taung are gone. Marriage is a simple verbal contract. Parenthood is a spiritual duty that uplifts . A Mandalorian may not disown their child, but a Mandalorian child may disown their parent if they fail at their duties.

Above all, a Mandalorian Acts. It is technically possible to use the passive voice in Mando’a but it is weird and hard. Things don’t just Happen, things are Done and the actor is named for shame or for praise.

Just popping in to say, it doesn't make sense that the base color of the Batch's armor is black, purely based on the fact that all the wear lines on the edges of every plate are white. That's what's underneath where the paint got knocked off over time. Plus, GAR plates came in white, so it makes more sense that they took that and painted it grey than that they received differently colored plastoid for some reason. AFAIK, the only squad that ever got black armor before the Empire was Omega Squad in the RepCom books, and they're not canon anymore. Maybe it's an homage to them? But then the wear lines and scrapes shouldn't be white! 😭

Sorry, meaningless artist rant is over. 😅 I've just drawn that armor too many dang times.

I want to be so excited about TBB season 3 but my head still full of Repcom and Ordo, and Commander Fox, and my ocs... my hype will probably start when I see the first episodes. I mean, I just looked at my TBB section of fanarts, and I barely draw the boys. I had my fixation for tbb in 2022 december and during season 2 but at that time my artistic urges avoided me like a plague.

My old RepCom posts are in my notes again and now I'm feeling fond but sad. I'm not sure if I'll ever properly write for that fandom again (and I have so many issues with both the source material and the fandom). I don't own the physical copies anymore. But I still love and miss the characters.

They were the characters I watched on to my freshman year of high school and again when I started my sophomore year of college. I think they're just a permanent part of my brain, for better or worse.
