1-a posting? on MY side character blog? it's more likely than you think

anyway here's my take on a Yaomomo redesign! featuring some notes explaining why it wouldn't in fact hinder her quirk more than her canon costume does, because people like complaining about that :)

yes i am aware that the most efficient solution for her is still the sports bra/sleeveless crop top + shorts combo, but it makes for this really sporty look and i wanted to give her something more classy/smart looking instead, which is why i decided to try a dress

another thing i had in mind while designing this was including a bunch of hexagon and pentagon-ish shapes because. y'know. carbon rings. chemistry. i also tried to make her visor resemble lab goggles a little

as my main inspirations for this i'm crediting lavendertowne on youtube (that's where i got the dress idea from) and doodlegraveyard here on tumblr (it's just the visor, but it's still something)

YAYAYAYAYAY ofc!! it took me a while lol but here are the other children from my wonder kids au lol

shiki yaoyorozu-todoroki - best friends with toshinori (bkdk's kid from my au) and a member of ua's management department. local heart throb and hot head. their quirk allows them to manifest todoroki's half-hot half-cold powers as full bodied forms they can maintain for short periods at a time.

mizuki "tsuki" iida - the cool older sister of the quirk laboratory group. she's very level-headed and kind, so its no surprise that she's nana's childhood crush. she's from the hero department and her quirk is rocket thrusters on her hands and feet that allow her to maneuver in the air. she can come off as rude at times, but she's just very blunt.

yōkō kirishima - very oblivious and very competitive; all around loving idiot who takes well after her mom and dad in looks AND temperament. she's the fitness nut and troublemaker between nana and tsuki, but is fiercely brave when it counts. her quirk allows her to grow acid crystals from any part of her body.

she wears her suit under her clothes. she stole it from a specialized shop and it's supposed to be anti-quirk material (whatever that means) but because it's not made for her it only half works.

magne helps her dye her hair strands. after she dies, dabi starts helping.

her feet are dirty from running around without shoes everytime she transforms. she doesn't think of cleaning them because she's used to it.

she took a red suit purposefully to confuse heroes so they don't know if she's bleeding and weakened or if it's just her costume's color.

I have no logical explanation for the fishnets but they look nice
