@ropeseok (My best friend for one thing. She writes primarily smut, but is incredibly detailed and everything is well thought out. She’s extremely fair when it comes to who she writes for and when.)

@mintedmango [formerly countrysundae] (Multifandom and she puts a lot of thought into her work. She inspired the way I run this blog. Very sweet and approachable. Her work is very balanced between angst, smut, and fluff.)

@hollyhomburg (Tooth rotteningly sweet, fluff. A lot of garden p*rn. Fair warning, she does write in bullet points mostly, which I know annoys some people, but it’s worth it. Her work has pretty much no smut to it. It’s all about the emotions, which I really like.)

@bang-tan-bitches (Holy hell, these ladies know what the heck they are doing. While they do work in mostly smut, their works are also very emotionally charged. I will say that if you're mostly looking for some good pwp and poly, these are your ladies.)

@krreader (The Mistress of Scenarios and Reactions. She has got these down to a science. Very well laid out and thought out. Posts fairly often. She is multifandomed and posts amazing series as well.)

@tatertotthethot (.... She is the guilty pleasure author for me. While she has only one series up right now, y’all, it will make the most hardened smut readers blush. It is fucking fantastic and I cannot wait to see what else she writes in the future.)

@abangtanfangirl (Her work is without a doubt, very well thought out. She really understands people well, I think, and her work reflects that. She’s got characters that she writes very well. And another thing about her work is that she makes me anxious, but in a good way. Her characters have their ups and downs but they are not too stupid to live, which is something I deeply appreciate.)

@jamaisjoons (I just... I had to. I’ve read a lot of her works and I’ve enjoyed them all. But after the fix feelings I got from that stupid bee story, she has earned her way up onto this list. Her work is engaging and the way she writes people is just absolutely fantastic and real.)

@mintjoonlep (I LOVE her work. I’m big on soft, sweet smut. And she delivers, EVERY *clap* SINGLE *clap* TIME *clap clap*. She’s got a wonderful sense of detail and balance to her work and her characters are very real, even in the short time you’re with them.)

Not really caring much whether you're short or tall, but since he isn't really tall either, short girlfriends definitely have the advantage of him not looking like a dwarf.

You two made quite the pretty couple, actually and I know, Yoongi has this bad boy attitude from time to time, but when he was with you, it wasn't like that at all.

Just a really sweet and loving relationship. And everyone could tell how much you loved each other at the way you acted around each other. Skinship was a huge deal for Yoongi with you.. and that was new for him too..

“I love you,” he whispered right into your ear as you were standing next to him. Just because he felt like it.

He thinks you're the perfect height for a lot of things, not even sexually speaking, but in the most casual situations. Just draping his arm around your shoulder, pulling you against his chest and hugging you, you wearing his shirts that looked way too big on you – which only made him fall in love with you more, by the way.

He loved all that and more.

It just felt like everything about you was right to him. Hoseok’s perfect girl.

“You are the cutest.. do you know that?” he chuckled as he watched you try to get one of his sweaters from the top of his closet and failing miserably.

“Stop talking. Help me.”

Namjoon obviously thinks you’re attractive, but honestly? Most of the time, the cuteness outweighs. And that goes both ways, you know? Because when he’s with you, he turns from sir into baby boy real quick.

You know those cringy videos where the girl is much shorter than the guy and she tries to reach his lips to kiss him and the guy just stands there like a statue? That would be you two, until he would crouch down to pick you up and kiss you happily.

Tells you how cute you are every opportunity he gets and for whatever you did. You got up on your tiptoes because you wanted to reach something? Cute. You got frustrated because that pair of jeans was yet again too long? Cute. You screamed at him for.. something? Still cute.

Even though.. he should probably not tell you you're cute when you're trying to be angry with him..

“Stop smiling, Namjoon! This is serious!”

“I know, I know, sorry baby,” he would shake his head, trying not to laugh anymore, “It's just.. can you get down from my bed? It doesn't make you look any more intimidating.”

Let's be real, Jimin is the happiest out of all the members when you're short.

It's nice to be taller than you, to wrap his arm around your shoulder and lean down to kiss you. It's nice not to be teased for once, because he had finally found someone by his side who was shorter than him.

You definitely help him overcome his insecurities about his height, until he could finally accept it and actually be quite content with it.

“Have I told you how beautiful you are today?” he asked as he watched you walk over to the bed, only wearing his shirt that was way too big for you.

This dude.. now this dude makes fun of you a lot, but in a really sweet way. It's more of a.. loving teasing, that always has you laugh with him in the end.

He's definitely the kind boyfriend that grabs your chocolate and holds it up over his head, because he wants to annoy you to your breaking point.

“Taehyung, I swear to god..-”

“Yes? What are you going to do?” he wiggled his eyebrows, pursuing his lips and leaning down because he wanted to get a kiss in return.

But you had other plans.

“Listen up.. there is something in range for me to kick and I'm not against the idea right now.”

Don't mess with short girls, 2K18. Taehyung learned that the hard way, but oh well.

Treats you like a baby, doesn't matter if you're older than him. If you're this short, expect to be pampered, your cheeks squished and cuddled all day long, because he thinks you're the absolute cutest girl in the world.

Aesthetic: It would probably be something with lots of blues, purples, and pinks - pictures of pens and washi tape and calligraphy (for my bullet journaling), some aesthetically-messy baking (because I’m a hot mess with a sweet tooth), and so many Disney and Disneyland references. Because I’m obsessed. Oh, and Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors and the San Jose Sharks and a little bit of the San Francisco 49ers (but their black jerseys, my favorite, and it would definitely be Colin Kaepernik’s number because he will always be my favorite).

Random Fact: I went to Disneyland 6 times last year and already have 4 more trips planned so far for this year! (Like I said: obsessed.)

Why did I choose my tumblr url: I looove my url more than anything and tbh it happened because I came across a text post right when I got into spn (2015) about how dean and cas need to start profoundly boning and here we are :’)

My aesthetic: hot tea brewing in the kitchen, you can see the flowers on the balcony from where you’re standing at the counter, slouchy sweater brushing bare thighs, curls falling loose from your top knot. toes in the sand at the edge of the water, wide brimmed hat casting a shadow on your nose, smiling so big your eyes crinkle in the corners, licking ice cream from your fingertips. lipstick tacky on your bottom lip, eyelashes painted dark, skirt clinging to your ass, swaying your hips to the rhythm, the room is dark and smoky, never touching anyone but relishing that their eyes are on you.

Last show you watched: We don’t have cable so I don’t get to watch shows live on tv. Last time I watched any tv show I believe was Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu!

Last book you read: tbfh it’s been a long time, I’ve been reading mostly fanfiction for a while now. I just finished reading a two part series called “all the stars above and below” a finnpoe au by AndreaLyn on ao3 here

If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?: This is strange question because I’m in my very nice bed and I don’t really want to be anywhere else at the moment but like in general Boyfriend and I are planning on moving to England so I’d like to be there? Kind of? Or like... sitting on a beach somewhere? Sitting next to my sister? I’m not really longing to be somewhere else so much as wanting some things to be a little different? But on the whole I’m extremely satisfied with where I’m at right now.

When would you time travel to?: lol fuck any time period before this one (modern medicine and some more rights are v nice) so I’ll say 3017 but that’s assuming tr*mp doesn’t get our entire goddamned planet fucking destroyed and also that people aren’t asshats to each other based on social constructions and institutions like gender and religion and identity and also ethnic backgrounds :’)

First Fandom I joined: Oh boy this is a good question. I was just talking to Boyfriend the other day about how Han/Leia was my first OTP before I really knew what that meant? Like watching the movies as a kid I felt in my heart like “yes they’re so good together please be happy together forever” I wasn’t on the Internet at all until 2008, and not on tumblr until 2011, and not on stan twitter until earlier this year lmao. When I started the tumblr, it was mostly disney and then avengers when it came out? This blog is my first like dedicated I’M IN A FANDOM venture.

Favorite book: I hate this question because I know someone out there will hate me for it *squints* but the honest truth is “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton it’s been my favorite since seventh fucking grade so fight me about it!!!1!

What class do you wish you paid more attention to in school? This is not the answer you’re looking for but I had some severe problems in my life when I was in high school so really I wish I had been able to pay more attention to everything in school. I would literally time travel back and redo it all if I could. I would have taken my government classes more seriously, gotten more into my history classes, and would have signed up for AP Art History because I fucking wanted to but I didn’t. If those problems hadn’t been there or hadn’t affected me so badly I would have gotten better grades and could have chosen something different for college. In college, I might have looked for something more like anthropology and focused more on language in a cultural and socio-historical context and not just language and teaching language. Similarly without those problems I would have been able to pay better attention in college and have gotten better grades, done more academic research, etc.

Just hypothetically, if you could get rid of one entire species and not have it screw up the ecosystem at all, what would it be? Humans :’) we’re the worst.

First foray into fanfic? How To Train Your Dragon on that fanfiction net website. I remember seeing the second film and feeling so, like, when are those two going to kiss and get married and live happily ever after? I needed that closure. Then I discovered AUs and ~lemons~ and then I was reading Frozen fic for a while(??) and finally Supernatural. Apple Pie Life by @heyacas was the first fic I read on ao3 after it was recced to me and I never looked back.

The redhead, Natasha, had dropped off some clothes for you. They felt a bit awkward, but they fit. You gazed at yourself in the mirror, marveling at how different you looked. You look almost like you belong here.

That thought spoils your mood. You wanted more than anything to stay here, stay with Bucky. You don’t have much left in your old life, your family was small and now all gone. But here, you could have a second chance. Bucky refuses to help, but maybe Tony and Howard can. It takes you a while, but you find them in a lab working away on the transporter. You note, to yourself this time, how similar they act. In fact, Howard looks exactly like he does when he hasn’t slept. Since they hadn’t noticed you, you backtracked to the kitchen, grabbing two coffees and a small bag of pastries.

Tony and Howard don’t even notice you enter the room the second time. You set the coffee and food down on a clean surface near them before clearing your throat. It takes a few tries before Tony looks up, followed by Howard.

“Coffee,” you ask with a smile and all the charm you can muster. This plan has to work since you don’t have a backup.

Howard moves first, greedily taking a cup and rummaging through the bag for a pastry. You pick up the second cup and hold it out to Tony. He contemplates your offering for a moment before taking the cup with a smile.

“You’re not bad at this assistant thing. Need a job?” Tony smiles, but his offering doesn’t feel like a joke.

You huff out a laugh when you realize that he’s probably already worked out why you’re here and what you want.

“I might have to take you up on that offer. But for now, I’d like to know if I can see my file. The one that you said was ‘suspicious.’”

He grabs a thin folder from a table behind him and tosses it on the table next to you.

“Thought you might appreciate it printed out. I know how much trouble your boys had with all this newfangled technology.”

You pick it up with a smile, confirming your suspicions about Tony.

“I couldn’t find anything, and that says something. Maybe some fresh eyes will help.” You nod at Tony as you flip through the file. It is really sparse. Nothing much of note until you get to the last page. It is a letter from Peggy confirming your MIA status.

Agent Y/N Y/LN has been confirmed as missing in action. At this time, no further action is being taken. Her work and home belongings have been placed in storage under her identification number.

Director Carter

You read the letter through several times before looking up at Tony with a questioning glance.

“Friday can provide you directions and access to the storage facility, and anything else you need help with.” Tony said with a smirk.

“Friday?” you ask.

You stare at the ceiling in bewilderment when a voice rings out. “Yes, ma’am?”

“Um, where can I find Bucky Barnes?”

With Friday’s help, you eventually find the gym.

“Fuck,” he mutters when he spots you.

“You learned some bad habits in the army,” you scold.

“It’s Steve’s fault.”

“You always say it’s Steve’s fault.”

“It usually is.”

You huff out a laugh of agreement. Quiet falls between the two of you because you don’t know how to ask the question you need to.

“You look, you look like you belong here.” Bucky breaks the quiet first. His statement feels like he’s reading your mind.

You look down at your clothes before smiling back up at Bucky. “Actually, I need help with that.”

“No.”

“What?” you question angrily. “You don’t want me here?”

“It’s not that. You heard Bruce.”

“So you do?” you interrupt. “You want me to stay.”

Bucky hesitates. “More than anything, Bluebird. But-”

“That’s all I need,” You interrupt again. “But if this works, you have some apologizing to do.” Before he can question or stop you, you turn and leave. You follow Friday’s directions, and with only a few wrong turns and trying to get into the wrong building on the first try, you find the storage warehouse.

You identify yourself, and thanks to Friday’s help, the guard lets you in. The worker at the desk looks bored and startled when you walk up.

“Hi! I need box 4857210.” You bite your lip nervously hoping it would work.

“Right.” He clumsily types in the number. After a few seconds, the instrument beeps and he raises an eyebrow slightly. “This is an old one. It says you need a password.”

Your eyes widen in surprise. “Oh, um.” Your brain races through possibilities before settling on one with a small smile. “Bluebird?”

He’s skeptical at your uncertainty, but he types in the password. After a few moments, it beeps again. “You can have a seat, they’ll bring it out in a few minutes.”

You sigh with relief and wait impatiently. The crate is smaller than you expected. They leave it and unlock it for you. The dust flies as you open the lid. It actually contains quite a bit. Pictures, clothing, and some smaller trinkets. But you ignore it all for the envelope sitting on top. Your hands shake slightly as you open the envelope and slide out the letter inside. With a smile, you turn to the man.

“Can this be delivered to my room?” you ask.

He nods wearily as you close the crate.

You were still nervous to drop this news in everyone’s laps. Especially Bucky’s. He said he wanted you to stay, but doubt began to pull at the edges of your confidence. You should have known it would be Peggy who would erase your doubts. You were rereading the letter over and over in the common room when she walked by.

“Has anyone mentioned that those clothes suit you?” You turned as she spoke. Peggy had chosen to stick with her uniform.

“Not with those words, exactly.” Your smile falters slightly when you think of Bucky’s reaction.

“What do you have?” she asked.

“Oh,” you hand her the letter. “It’s from you.”

Her eyebrows raise in surprise as she takes it. Her mouth dropping open as she reads it. You’ve managed to shake the unshakeable Peggy Carter. Well, technically she wrote the letter, but you’d take a bit of the credit.

When she finished and looked up at you, her shocked expression grew into a large grin.

“I know this has been stressful. I have been so wrapped up in seeing Steve again, I haven’t been there for you at all.” You tried to protest, but she cut you off. “No, I at least had the chance of some closure with Steve. You, on the other hand, never knew how he felt, how you felt, until it was too late. I’m glad you’re going to get that chance.”

“Chance for what?” Peggy and you spun around at Steve’s question.

Peggy was quick to respond before you could and handed Steve the letter. Smiling pointedly at Bucky, she said, “she’s staying.”

“What?!” Bucky snatches the letter from Steve before he can read it. After a quick scan, Bucky looks up at you. “Is this real? What does this mean?”

“I found the letter in storage with my things. No one else knew my identification number, but I did. I think it means that I can stay. That I’m meant to stay.” You squeal with surprise when Bucky lifts you up and spins you around. You’re dizzy when he finally sets you down. “You’ve been kind of a jerk, you know?”

“He’s always been a jerk,” Steve interjects.

Bucky glares at Steve over your shoulder. “I don’t need your help right now, punk.”

“Are you sure?” Steve asks.

“Steve,” Bucky threatens.

“I’m just saying, I’ve been waiting on you to finally do this for a long time.”

“Steve, how about we leave them alone?” Peggy coaxed, pulling Steve gently by the arm.

Bucky smiles down at you. “He’s right. I had a million chances to do this, and I never did. I’m sorry for that. And I’m sorry that when life gave me another chance I didn’t grab it with both hands. I just couldn’t get my hopes up and lose you all over again. Can you ever forgive me, Bluebird?”

You smile at Bucky, your Bucky. “I will,” his smile grows, “but for a price.”

Bucky’s eyebrows raise. “And what’s that?” he asks.

“A kiss?”

“The Six Thatchers” Survival Pack (version 2.0)

Yes, that was a pretty crazy episode. Luckily, the fandom is here with breakdowns of every confusing plot point and theories on the reasons behind them.

This is an updated, fleshed-out version of the original masterpost and theory table for comparing different theories on TST and whether they address different issues in the episode.

New additions include:

Notes on whether a meta on a specific issue clearly supports or rules out a theory (e.g., [flashback] or [not real]).

The episode is 100% real. The surface reading of the episode; takes all events at face value.

The episode is 100% imaginary. Includes, but is not limited to: Mind Palace/EMP, drugged hallucinations, and dreams by Sherlock. No part of the episode actually happened; like TAB, it is simply Sherlock’s way of thinking about the status quo after the tarmac scene.

Even before you had started dating Namjoon, you had known about his sex drive. At first, it had scared you immensely, since you thought the second he would find out about you still being a virgin, he would laugh in your face and would leave you.

“But I wouldn't mind,” you bit your lower lip and smirked up at him seductively.

He wouldn't either. But he didn't want to test your body. He was glad that you were okay now, but he didn't want to push it. So instead, he buried his face into the crock of your neck again and you couldn't help but laugh and run your hands through his hair.
