My TES/Skyrim OC Dunmer Aroaayne and his main love interest, Yngvi. I wanted to explore the nature of vampiric feeding, because in BG3/DnD/TES lore it states that feeding can be a "Pleasurable Experience" for both Vampire and Victim, but clearly you're also potentially killing someone. So Aro's face shows panic in his restraint in wanting more, and Yngvi who is entirely infatuated, shows more trust than he probably should. I was proud of the lighting tho ^.^ I have more BG3 art on the way tho! Yngvi the Reachman belongs to Sarndipity!

Devana Wildspear often prowled the rugged terrain of the Reach with the primal grace of a she-wolf, her senses attuned to the faintest evidence of prey. Born into the Wildspear Clan, she was raised to revere Hircine and embrace her Lycanthropic nature as a sacred gift. Her clan honored Hircine through ritualistic hunts, their prey slaughtered and presented to the Daedric Prince of the Hunt as an offering. With each full moon, Devana would transform into a fearsome werewolf, her howls echoing through the ancient forests as she stalked her chosen quarry.

As the years passed, Devana found herself yearning for a challenge worthy of her abilities. As a Lycanthrope and a skilled reach-witch with a talent for necromancy, the hunts orchestrated by her clan had become predictable, their prey too easy to track and capture. It was during one hunt, targeting a group of scholars and mages that dared to venture into the Reach in search of scholarly pursuits, that Devana’s fate took an unexpected turn. As one of the captured mages attempted to escape through a portal, Devana was inadvertently pulled along, finding herself stranded on the Isle of Balfiera.

Confined within a cell, Devana's first instinct was to unleash her fury upon her supposed elven captor, demanding a means to return home. As she listened to her plea for aid, however, a new curiosity stirred within her. Perhaps there was new prey to be found on this unfamiliar island, creatures unlike any she had encountered in the Reach.

Venturing further into Balfiera, Devana soon found herself facing off against Daedra, twisted creatures of Oblivion that tested her skills like never before. Though the hunt was perilous, it reignited a fire within her, reminding her of the thrill she had once felt when stalking her prey in the wilds of the Reach.

When her journey led her to Glenumbra, within the Daggerfall Covenant, Devana was initially reluctant to involve herself in the affairs of outsiders. But as she witnessed the chaos unfolding in the region, suspicions of another reachman clan's involvement piqued her interest. Though she harbored no loyalty to the Covenant, the prospect of hunting and killing their enemies appealed to Devana's primal instincts. With a newfound sense of purpose, she pledged herself to their cause, knowing that each foe she faced would provide an opportunity to prove herself as the ultimate predator, a Wildspear of unmatched skill and ferocity.

Haha, no, it was fine! I just tried writing out her story and it's, uh, kind of unhinged and I'm a little embarrassed to share (she is my very first Skyrim character.)

(Also, great art! Your Khajiit looks super cool!)

She was raised by a Reachman and his clan from infancy, being found tied in a tree above a flooding, nirncrux-rich river (the source of her name: 'red raging flood.') Her parents were Blades fleeing a Thalmor squad and intended to return for her :(

She has a happy childhood with the Reachmen. She turns out to have powerful, wild conjuring abilities (and nearly burns the camp down a few times trying to show off her flame atronach friends.) She is also good friends with the clan's Karth wolves :)

Faolythe falls into the Thalmors' clutches in her teens, when she runs into a squad and accidentally summons a Titan (and promptly knocks herself out.) Her power is enough to save her life as the leader sees potential in her, and she's shipped out to Summerset. She trains as a Thalmor grunt, where she eventually learns she has a sister there, who is spying on the Thalmor herself. She and her sister (Darodra) find themselves in Elenwen's envoy in Skyrim, and she finally makes her escape in the chaos in Helgen.

She gets separated from Darodra, and starts her return to Skyrim looking for her sister.

In general, she's kind of goofy, foolhardy and has a way of becoming a thorn in any authority's side. She prefers binding weapons to summoning Daedra (she has convinced herself she summons the same Daedra every time. She calls them Sparkles.)

Hes a Reachman originally from the mid-to-late First era, an Hircine champion offered the usual challenge to prove his loyalty to Hircine (kill ur family or ur a pussy). Hircine offered him a special bow, whos arrows will fly true towards anything with a heartbeat, but to be smart aiming it. Grimnir took it and fired right away, ending up following the arrow until it lodged in his young son’s heart. Grimnir was swiftly taken to the hunting grounds after that (if u know where I took this from. Mwah !) (hes living in denail of the whole affair and has never and will never process his guilt)

Spending a few couple hundred years in the hunting grounds and proving his worth to Hircine in hunts and the leading of them, Grimnir rose to a respectable position in Hircine’s sphere and named Lord of Still-Hunting

Grimnir can grow restless during long stays in the hunting grounds, so Hircine allows him visits to Nirn to keep him sharp and semi-sane. Like letting ur winded up chihuahua let out some steam in the backyard

He likes listening to music when he’s on Nirn. Nothing much to smile about in his life on the regular but music calms him down, and he doesn’t play and sing as much as he used to back when he was human. So he will haunt the taverns of wherever it is he ends up, set up in the corner and enjoy the night. Which is where he ends up “doting” on a bard named Mélisande

all of you gay people who love food love this question meanwhile i am like a naive fool when it comes to this. i will try

foraging is i assume the primary source of food for the displaced reachmen, so cuan knows how to hunt/gather as well as how to prepare meats and various edible plants for those eating on the go moments. he's a very busy radical going here and there all the time. he might eat a bit light due to paranoia, even when he's with other people he'd rather not drop his guard out in the wild. in a redoubt like his home or any friendly territory, he can relax a bit more and eat to his heart's content. not to mention the food there is a lot nicer than what he personally can whip up for himself. reachman cider hc sweep

hjulde of course relies on mammoth products as staples of her diet, but being a wanderer like her means she can't always just rely on a big herd to supply all her sustenance. i'm not sure if there'd be much in it for most giants to learn how to hunt in terms of effort expended vs reward, but i think she has. being a giant she eats a Lot more food compared to the average person and is pretty much used to gathering it herself out of politeness, unless someone explicitly offers her a giant-sized portion of rabbit stew (the whole cauldron) she'll make due with massive deer or even bears and sabercats, but as a result of not always getting it mammoth cheese is a comforting and nostalgic treat for her, with mammoth meat being especially meaningful

oh boy peyzae... SOMEONE made a post about falmer cuisine. the cavern her family lives in has flooded sections so yes they do indeed go cavefishing and peyzae has always enjoyed that as a source of "traditional" protein in her diet. i don't know what kind of nutrients are in a giant bug but hey it's probably good for you. i DONT think chaurus eggs are like kwarma eggs they're pitiful little round things... but then there are also fungi and other plants to form one's balanced cave diet. i don't know if peyzae herself knows how to cook though... on the road her diet consists of pies left on windowsills. random apples left in barrels all over the place. that sort of thing. i don't imagine she'd have a big appetite but she'd really like trying new things because of her beautiful soul.

I do want to talk more about my oc and beyond reach so.. spoilers ahead!

I'm currently roleplaying as a telvanni mage who's had dealings with daedra before, mainly azura and mephala.

She wasn't expecting namira to be behind everything. She suspected daedric involvement from the start, but since she's unfamiliar with reachman culture namira didn't come to mind...

Now I understand Remiel, who's being the voice of reason during this whole thing and is understandably traumatized, being pissed at how unaffected she acts.

Going into the scuttling void DID affect her. Dealing with daedra now and then isn't the same as literally going into an oblivion realm, one of the most disgusting ones at that. But she's repressing that because 'im a wizard of house telvanni. a prodigy. i can't let a pesky oblivion realm affect me. what would my superiors think.'

Vigdis is such a cool name, and its super cool she is from Solstheim! Very sorry about her dad though, RIP My Altmer boy Louis was born in the Summerset Isles with his twin sister, Annie! They were put up for adoption though, and quickly separated. Louis ended up kidnapped by a Nord man, who raised him in Skyrim, until he was able to escape after the Nord's death. Ezra, who is a Redguard, was born and raised in Hammerfell. He had a rather tough upbringing as well, as his family became involved in a cult of Hircine. His parents ended up sacrificed, and he and his brother ended up as werewolves. Eventually, Ezra found Mara's love, which gave him the strength to leave his brother and the cult behind, for Skyrim.

Kitschicritter, my self-insert that has become a character all their own, was born a Reachman. They were forcibly removed from their family and adopted by a Noble family in Cyrodil. Their upbringing was pretty good, pretty standard, up until the point they started displaying signs that they had been...kissed on the head by Sheogorath. Their family ended up rejecting them, which was how they found themselves in Skyrim: Searching for a family that might accept them, be them blood or found.
