Chapter One is here!

And we finally meet our protagonist Oriolepaw! She and Linnetpaw were the first kits born after the formation of Duskclan by their mother, Haretail. She's got a thirst for knowledge and enough energy to last for days. I hope you all enjoy her as much as I do.

A lot of this chapter was me figuring out a workflow and the formatting I want to use for this project. If it isn't obvious already, a lot of my inspiration comes from Barrenclan (Which you should absolutely read if you haven't)

As most first chapters are, this is mainly setup and character establishing. But it won't be long until we start moving this story along! Feel free to send any asks my way if you've got any questions :)

Lowkey (highkey) I think I might actually be otherhearted instead of being a therian. I did a lil research and the definition of it fits me better than being a therian... so instead of having a cat, raccoon and a raven theriotype I'd instead have a synpath or kithtype of those animals. Although, with cats I feel a stronger connection than just identifying WITH them because sometimes I feel as though I AM a cat. I'm comfortable identifying as a cat and saying "I am a cat. That is who I am." Idk man I gotta work this shit through somehow ugh

A taste of Deja Vu was felt when Alois stepped into his cabin aboard his ship. To believe that he had thought the ‘Commandant’ had been swallowed up by the seas. It was not far fetched. It was a piece of himself that he could see and feel. The sound of her engines humming and her decks worn by the weather and tear of the crew. For the first time, he boarded her alone. A murderous man covered in blood stained clothes. Fangs soaked with the blood of his former crewmen. He did not need the ones who betrayed him. His former crew members chose other loyalties and chose to continue on without him.

He looks out of the panoramic window, taking in the calm waters and moonlight peeking through the clouds. Thoughts come to mind about the past times he had spent alone in his cabin. What he thought about, what he wished for, was he doing the right thing? The night brought back a painful memory. The memory of getting lost in the fascination of hurting himself and losing his self control. Slow steps guide him to the open bar, taking a bottle of wine to open.

He poured the rich, red wine into a chalice and took it between both hands. “Wherever.. she is.. I forgive her..” He whispers, taking a drink to wash away the evidence of his crime. He was having to take his transfiguration as a vampire in stride. “.. This is home.. this is where I belong..” He takes another drink to silence the dull pain. “— I know what I did!” He yells, taking another drink and tossed the chalice to the floor. He was seeing things now; shadows on the walls and hearing a familiar voice echo in his head.

“Show yourself to me!” He demands, pounding his fist on the desk. “—- I want to know.. I don’t want to feel like this anymore..” Fingers take hold of the letter opener, eyeing the sharp edge of the blade. “— A cut.. just one could be a release..” He speaks in his native language to the unknown presence.

Oriolepaw learns about the battle hungry culture she was born into, oops. Linnetpaw seems to be into it though.

I'm sure I'm going to get asks about it anyway so the two birds on the cover are a linnet and a red tailed hawk, and the owl is a great horned owl. Also, yes Cormorantblaze is a healer who has a child. We'll get more into that later. But it's not a secret, everyone in the clan knows

I will be traveling again for the holidays, so there probably won't be another update before the end of the year. So, as a treat, get this one a week early. Enjoy :}

A new ref for old Warriors OC, Ravenheart. Stara jak ja postać z Wojaków. Skubaniec doczekał się remake'u. Jak bede miała czas to zrobię nowe refy do innych starych postaci. Teoretycznie jeszcze jeden jest skończony, ale jest do dość mało ważnej postaci. Krucze Serce miał bardzo podobne backstory do Ognistej Gwiazdy, jednak zmieniłam ją dość mocno z czasem. Dalej jest on byłym domowym kotem, jednak jego dołączenie do Klanu Cienia wynika z tego, że chciał odprowadzić zaginionego kociaka z powrotem do rodziny. Potem już nie mógł znaleźć drogi do domu a kultura wojowników mu zaimponowała. Dołączył już też jako dorosły kot. Tam poznał Cętkowaną Gwiazdę, nową przywódczynię, która miała za zadanie osiedlić Klan Cienia z powrotem w lesie (kompletnie niekanoniczne, wynik mojego re-write'u całego świata wojaków na podstawie moich interpretacji z dzieciństwa kiedy nie znałam angielskiego), z którą z czasem został partnerami po pomocy jej w konfliktach z Klanem Pioruna. Mieli oni razem jeden miot kociaków, wszystkich synów, z których jeden umarł niedługo po porodzie, a jeden (Szybka Rzeka) został odtrącony przez matkę, gdyż był słaby. Nim zajmował się głównie ojciec. Kiedy Krwawe Futro i Lamparci Pazur byli już wystarczająco dorośli i doświadczeni, Krucze Serce odstąpił swojej pozycji zastępcy aby dać im szansę. Nie uważał się zresztą za dobrego przywódcę. Kurcze Serce przeżył swoją partnerkę, mimo iż miała ona 9 żyć do dyspozycji (głównie przez jej konfliktowość i wojny z Klanem Pioruna i Wiatru).
