It feels like every time I post an update it's about how pages are being put on hold. But unfortunately Ive been extremely sick the last week or so and I was going to use this time to draw chapter 4 before school started up again, but my body had other plans I suppose. Hopefully I can get back to work sooner than later

Also, thank you all for 100 followers. That's a good number of people who want to read my cat stories :)

Yeah it's an undertale reference, what about it?

Oriolepaw learns about the battle hungry culture she was born into, oops. Linnetpaw seems to be into it though.

I'm sure I'm going to get asks about it anyway so the two birds on the cover are a linnet and a red tailed hawk, and the owl is a great horned owl. Also, yes Cormorantblaze is a healer who has a child. We'll get more into that later. But it's not a secret, everyone in the clan knows

I will be traveling again for the holidays, so there probably won't be another update before the end of the year. So, as a treat, get this one a week early. Enjoy :}

Old Sins Cast Long Shadows

And Here is Chapter two! It should be obvious but Oriolepaw and Nightstar are our duo protagonists and every chapter will switch between their POV. In this chapter we explore Nightstar's feelings about leading a clan after her father's passing. She is a bit of a failwoman and I adore her so much.

Also, for future reference, the term "first light" means dawn and "second light" is dusk. First sleep is during noon and second sleep is during the night. That might be a bit obvious, but I wanted to be clear. The cats here behave more like actual cats do where they are crepuscular, active mainly at dawn and dusk.

Ah that's a good point! I'll be sure to add that info to character reference sheets when I post them in the future. But for now I'll just list the characters we've met so far
