I haven't done dragon art, but I once drew a doodle of a scene (Chpt 4) that made me roll on the floor. (/ω＼) I respect so much the work that Kinzy's dragon anatomy requires and I recognize that my limited knowledge makes any attempt at art a real challenge;

I've always enjoyed seeing how Kinzy brings authentic life to their dragons through their incredible designs and dynamic poses ✪ ω ✪ (Dream's drago form is my favorite, as well as his expressions, he's such a sweetheart!!)

I'm not sure I feel prepared to illustrate these magnificent, winged creatures yet. What I am sure of is rereading this beautiful story once again. Thanks for your question (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

Hmm....how hard can large scale mosaic possibly be? I feel like my plans for the room I'm working on could use something really shiny and impactful and maybe I want to make a fold-down cutting table and maybe I want to do it out of mosaic, even though that will be ungodly heavy.

It's a fun idea. I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

I haven't done mosaic since a one-off high school art class but I feel like the component skills are ones I already have, sooooo....

I have been keeping to a blue and gold celestial theme for both my guest room and my art workspaces, because if and when I move those spaces are likely to be combined. Cutting table, even though it would be for a different room, falls in the same vein, so I'm thinking something with a nice dark night sky and maybe some branches or leaves...

#if nothing else #I am likely to bleed less on my project than I did on the one in high school. #i sliced my arm open and bled profusely and never quite got all of it out #the third bedroom in my house is basically a junk room rn because the layout is awful #and i have been rotating that room in my head for weeks trying to see how it fits together in a functional way #it's going to still be storage but also my digital workspace/home for my modern tools #aka four ink printers #the laminator the 3d printer the laser engraver the cutting mats the paper storage #and also random crap like luggage and wrapping paper. #i think im settling on a library/bindery vibe #so loooots of built ins. #on a budget level i cannot afford to start this room for a while yet #and the same is also true on a time management scale #but for each project like this I tend to prefer to have everything fully realized in my head before i start #so im doing that now #mentally putting together lumber cut lists and figuring out if im going to have to buy a jigsaw

ignoring for now the idea that any individual spread prevention is meaningless if it doesn't change the large-scale scope of spread (??), since relying on institutions to resolve this is something we all agree is never going to be an option, how do you suggest to try to actually bring about mass action with mask adoption without any talk about wearing them in public mattering, and wearing them in public being a good thing to do and not wearing them in public not being a good thing to do?

through organization innit. i'm a marxist leninist and if you ask me 'how do you do X' i'm always going to start with 'join or form a party'. & if you're already part of any sort of organization or social club (even, just, like, a university club) find out who's in charge of events and pressure them relentlessly about covid policy. yelling at random people in their capacity as individuals is simply never going to achieve results. if you want to make the world safer for disabled people you need to get people who organize events to institute actual mask policies. but above all join an organization that can 1. mobilize its membership to wear masks and 2. collectively apply pressure to the organizers of events in your area.

Melisandre and Howland Reed two sides of one discount Merlin coin. One side (Mel) is quite OP in terms of magical ability, is driven by a very desperate need to find and guide King Arthur in these perilous and dark times, but is rather incompetent at her job because she identifies the wrong dude as the king and when she meets the real one, is in too deep to change course. The other side (Howland) isn’t all that powerful as far as we know, but he actually knows who the king is and he actually knows where the king is and he could actually get to him quite easily….except he doesn’t. He instead chooses to help some other kid live his best surrogate King Arthur life while real King Arthur flounders and fucking dies. Really, both of them should be considered fail witch of all time since they do absolutely nothing to help poor Arthur Jon on his hero’s quest. And that’s why Bloodraven is the best because he knows who the king is, doesn’t give too much of a fuck just yet because he’s too busy helping his little brother, and yet he still finds time to terrorize and give cryptic but helpful advise while in the form of Arthur’s pet bird. Truly the wizard of all ages.
