I'm so happy to finally announce te lauch of this aU!

Basically, this is a twisted wonderland where me and my best friend @simping-myjob have a role in the story as Lilian and Sora Vanrouge respectively.

The AU will be seperated into three parts:

The Diasomnia chapter: Written down as a fanfic, similar to if Lilian was Diasomnia's manga Yuu. It will start getting released as soon as book seven comes on the EN server.

The Aftermath: Mainly composed of drabbles and comics, this part takes place after Malleus's overblot. During the overblot, Lilian uses her magic-nullifying ability to stop the blot, in the process erasing all the magic in the world, including the Dark Mirror. Most students are then stuck on Sage's island because they don't have the money to go back home without the mirror.(the magic comes back slowly though) Pocket dimensions disappear so students are forced to live in the main building. The Diasomnia squad moves into the Ramshackle.

This was the way I found so every character, even the third years, could stay in the AU despite having all the events of the canon game taking place. I will also introduce RSA students, other NRC students and the Island of sage will be explored more, because I really love that place.

It will have a slice of life, rom-com setting.

Events: This counts event cards and vignettes. Due to my legendary motivation(sarcasm), this will the part you'll see the most. Like in the actual game, the events are non-canon to the main timeline.

I think I read this theory somewhere that TWST maybe a book, because the soundeffects whenever the player chooses a dialogue sounds like page turning and each story is referred to as "Books 1-7"

YES! I know the exact theory you are talking about. When I found out about the event being in a book, I straight remembered that theory.

I believe someone in the JP fandom mentioned it, but it basically goes how every time we click on the dialogue box or make a choice, it sounds like a page turning.

So, I believe OP was wondering if MC is stuck in a book. Ever since then, I can’t let go of that theory. I constantly hear the pages turning now.

Like how you know those old Christmas Mickey Carols?? And how those are in a book? It reminded me of that. If you’re a KH fan, you can think of it as when Sora goes into the Winnie the Pooh book (as pointed out by Mumble which I think is cute!)

It’s rather interesting because, don’t quote me on this, but I think up to this point the JP side was calling it books, but now they call it chapters for the newest updates. So, I believe that some mentioned that changed the dynamic compared to the previous book releases.

I find this all very interesting 🧐 the way the game gradually changes and you can see the subtle changes they do for it.

But yes! Omg! If MC is stuck in a book, it would explain so many things. MC would literally be the Alice in twisted wonderland, which would make sense because we started off with heartslabyul and the card soilders Adeuce.

Grim has so many stitch qualities that it would be such a miss if they don’t mention it or we don’t see the interactions between the two. Both being strong, at times they can’t control themselves and attack their loved ones, both having symbolism of being alone, and having found family. I really want to see how Grim and Stitch reacts and how Yuu deals with it.

Trivia about my self-insert Lilian

🌻She struggles with identity a lot because of her amnesia. Sometimes, she panics when she forgets her name and she sees her face as blurred in the mirror. 🌻During her second year, the yellow strip in her hair fades(revealing the mystery of wether or not it was dye) so she asked Lilia and Sora to die the tips of her hair yellow. 🌻She has multiple scars across her body due to repeated overblot battles. 🌻Skilled in many artistic departments, but didn't get the free time to expand on it until her second year. 🌻Is in the newspaper club. 🌻Manages a garden in the botanical garden to compensate for the food she can't buy and absolutely loves bees. 🌻Movie night is every friday at the Ramshackle with Ace and Deuce and occasionally the first years. 🌻Uses modern slang but has the sense of humor of a grandma. 🌻Falls victim to Ace's deez nuts jokes way too often. 🌻Her glasses are covered with multiple layers of tape since they keep getting broken and she has not enough money to get new ones(the prescription is probably off too). 🌻When things get too overwhelming, she seeks refuge on the beach. Deuce sometimes accompanies her and they vent while yelling and throwing rocks at the water. They never retalk about the things they say during those moments. 🌻When she can't sleep(which is often) She sketches her visions and Mickey. 🌻Bites her nails a lot.
