do people not understand the concept of consent anymore? when the whole debate on AI voices started up and voice actors were saying it was bad, everyone started going "ummm but what about Hatsune Miku??" like it was some gotcha, when no, actually, Hatsune Miku is not bad because she was made with consent. the issue is not "people's voices are being used to make art and that's bad", the issue is "people's voices are being used to make art WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION, AGAINST THEIR WILL. WHICH IS BAD."

if somebody at work steals your food, the issue is not that somebody ate your food, the issue is that somebody ate your food WITHOUT ASKING YOU AND OBTAINING YOUR PERMISSION FOR IT. if they ASKED you, and you said sure you can have some, then there is no issue. and JUST AS IMPORTANTLY, it ALSO means that it is an INSANE leap to assume that this means from now on everyone should be able to take everyone's food whenever they want because there's nothing inherently wrong with it and "well this person said yes so I'm going to assume everybody else will also say yes". my god. do we all collectively need to sit down and watch a dvd on how to learn to share and gracefully accept when people say they don't want you to do something

just saw someone say that Buck is still on the hamster wheel regardless of Tommy being a man because this relationship also just 'happened to him without knowing how he got there' and like... did we watch the same episode? because 7x05 was very literally about Buck making the decision to pursue this relationship even though he thought Tommy had dumped him for good.

he thought it through, he decided that he's interested and then went after Tommy himself. he apologised for his behaviour, he told Tommy 'this is where I'm at, this is what I can offer and I'd like to give this a go' if anything, aside from the initial kiss, this relationship is 'happening' to Tommy, not Buck.

one of my many beige flags is that I am completely normal with seeing anybody's personal headcanon of any character unless it's a character that I relate to so heavily to the point that I sometimes see screencaps of them and think "that's me", in which case I can only feel good about headcanons that also relate to me. you can make the most detailed essay length post about how he has a specific mental disorder and use tons of evidence from the show and make total sense but I'll still look at it and be like "but *I* do not have that mental disorder therefore he doesn't either". I won't like...COMPLETELY ignore any fan content like it but the entire time I'll be shifting uncomfortably in my seat like hm. this is not correct

Okay but the found footage of ToH OG pilot makes me so happy. You can really see Luz’s Neurodivergency and it’s depicted in such a real and unique way. As someone with ADHD, I totally get getting weirdly into random things and having unusual ways of showing appreciation of people and/or expressing myself. I also think her reaction to Amity hating her drawing and thinking her weird is just all too relatable, since some of the ways I love showing my connection with other people are often taken as weird and I’m often told to stop. Luz was already a wonderful and well-done character but this Pilot just shows how amazing her writing really is. Luz is the queer and neurodivergent representation we all need and Dana Terrace just makes my heart so happy that she gave the world this ❤️❤️❤️
