Hello, and welcome to Driving After Dark 2!
Driving After Dark 2 is an 18+ Life Series event, focused on explicit and mature fanworks.
This time around, the game's theme is focused on teamwork. In the discord, you'll be split up into either team Red or Green, and your task is to help each other accrue the most points by the end of the event!
And if you're planning on being a spectator..? Well, your tasks are a bit more secret.

Q&A:
How do you earn points?
To earn points, you must hit a certain benchmark in your process. This could mean writing 1k words, or finishing your lineart, but every creation, no matter how “polished”, will be awarded points.
Is this similar to art fight?
While this event works similar to art fight, it’s not just focused on 2D art, 3D art and animation! It's expanded to other forms of art, like writing, music, and poetry.
Does my work have to be related to the Life Series?
Creations, but especially prompts, must be relevant to the Life Series in some way. A good rule of thumb is to include (at least) one life series character, event, or mechanic.
How do I start creating?
You may base your creations off a prompt, start from scratch, or start from a work in progress.
If you’re starting with a work in progress, please submit your progress on the first day of the event. The mods will keep track of how much you’ve done so far, and hand out points accordingly.

No AI-generated content of any sort will be allowed.
You may never screenshot and share messages from the discord server without explicit permission from the parties involved.

Prompt #93 with Austin Butler - “Say you want me, and i’m yours.”

You hadn’t seen Austin Butler in almost a year, not since the wrap party for the film you two had co-starred in. That night, you had drunkenly flirted with him, all of the intense emotions and intimacy of filming finally bubbling to the surface once your work, your job, was done and dusted.
But he had been oblivious to your advances, or just wasn’t interested. Either way, your feelings for him hadn’t been reciprocated and you had been more than a little heartbroken. Now it was time to start the press circuit and heavy promotion for the film and, truth be told, you were a little nervous.
That’s how you find yourself at an industry only screening of the film with Austin and your director, to be followed by a q&a. The minute he walks into the green room it’s as if all of the air is sucked out of your lungs. He looks incredible, even more so than before - rested, relaxed, happy and healthy. His blue eyes search the room as he shakes hands with various people, finally landing on you. His face breaks wide open with a grin when he sees you and stomach drops and the butterflies in your ribcage tickle mercilessly. He makes his way to you and envelopes you in his warmth, murmuring a hello, and for a moment you let yourself relax in his embrace.
During the q&a, the audience is enthusiastic and asks thoughtful questions and it’s really fun to get to talk about your hard work. People throw a personal question in every now and again and someone asks about the rumors that you and Austin dated during filming. You blush and look to Austin, chuckling before answering, “Just friends.”
You hear Austin clear his throat and glance at him again. He looks right at you as he raises the microphone to his mouth. “Say you want me, and I’m yours.” You swear your heart stops beating as you hear the audience laugh, thinking it’s a joke. But they don’t hear what Austin says as he holds the microphone away and whispers in your ear, “I haven’t stopped thinking about you, not for one minute.” No one bats an eye when you decide to catch a ride with Austin after the screening.

1K Followers Celebration Q&A, Part 1 🎉
Hey guys! First of all, I'm sorry for not being too active on Tumblr lately. I've been pretty busy spending my break setting up various stuff for "Vendetta" as listed on my checklist and answering all these QnA questions.
Without further ado, here are all the questions and answers for the 1K Followers Celebration Q&A! This is Part 1 (I gotta split them into parts because it'll be too long if I kept them all in one post)
『Viktor, in your opinion, which ending would you want your child to choose? Vigilante, hero, heir?? Also, if you've seen both of the funerals, how did it make you feel?』
Viktor: "I—I honestly don't know. I just want my child to be safe and among those three choices... I would want them to be the heir, I guess. It'll be easier for Luka, my father, and Ash to protect them. Being a vigilante or a hero is too dangerous. They'd have to fight dangerous people and criminals, most of which are powered as well, and they may attract the attention of the wrong people.
As for the funerals... They're... horrible. I want to be there so badly, to say a final goodbye to my family and close friends, console them, make final amends with my father, and tell all of them to just let it go rather than keep hurting by holding on. But most of all, I want to hold my child one last time. To see them so clearly hurt... and I can't do anything about it... It just hurt. I'm glad Luka comforted them and is taking care of them."
『For Yvette: Do you actually love your child?』
Yvette: "O—Of course, I do! What kind of question is that? I care for them, okay? Even if I hadn't met them in years..." Yvette fidgets in her seat. "Next question, please."
『Rin, would you have any interest in MC if they weren't part of the Morozov family?』
Rin is silent for a moment.
Rin: “If they were not a part of the Morozov Family, then there was little to no chance of us ever meeting each other anyway. So, that’s a moot point.” Their voice is stiffer than usual.
『For Viktor and Yvette: given the chance, what’s one thing you would say to your child right now if you had the chance?』
Viktor: "I love you so much, my little sunshine. Please, don't be sad or angry anymore. I don't want you to avenge me or find me justice. I want you to enjoy your life to the fullest, find someone to love and maybe start a family with, and spend time with all the people in your life. And remember, to always take care of yourself and I'll always be proud of you, no matter what."
Viktor is silent for a second before shaking his head lightly. "I'm sorry, I know you said one thing... But, I just have so many things to say to them..."
Yvette: "I'm so sorry, baby. Please, give me another chance and I'll prove how much I meant that and how much I want to be in your life. After all, it's better late than never, right?"
『For Yvette: How was Viktor's personality? And why did you fall for him?』
Yvette sighs dreamily, a light blush spreading on her cheeks.
Yvette: "Where to start? He was a true gentleman and always tried to protect me in fights... Even to the point of taking hits that were meant for me... He was also really charming and also funny at times. Can get really teasing and flirtatious, but was really loyal once he was committed in a relationship with me. Just between you and me, I think he was a true hopeless romantic!"

Rin: “Hmm… I love my precognition and it really helps me so far. I wouldn’t want to change it to anything else.”
Ash: “C’mon, you party pooper, just imagine for a second!”
Rin: “How about you start first, then?”
Ash: “Gladly! I think MC’s umbrakinesis is pretty cool and flexible. Shadows are everywhere in almost every moment of the day. Also, it can be really intimidating and destructive as well. I would love to have a power like that.”
Rin: “Fine... If I have to… I think telepathy would be pretty useful. To be able to hear what the other person is thinking and planning, or even to influence them subtly... Although, the constant chatter of other people’s thoughts would be annoying…”

Introducing my teams Pt2 - Archon Supremacy
disclaimer: I build my teams mostly based of a certain thematic and just for fun, they are not fully “meta” oriented and while I’m sure they can be improved upon I’m generally happy with the compositions.
Zhongli - Support
Raiden Shogun - Main DPS/Battery
Nahida - Sub DPS/Driver
Venti - Support
As soon as Nahida was announced I KNEW I needed to have her and have a full archon team, I wasn't even sure of they'd work well but it wouldn't matter, I'd love them. Turns out? Oh they OP THEY VERY OP. This team works SO WELL in so many ways I love them and they destroy everything, props for being my first spiral abyss clear <3
Nahida's and Raiden's skills go hand in hand so ridiculously well it's insane, either of them can be on field and procc reactions like crazy be it spread or aggravate, Venti has the crowd control and Zhongli has the shields, what more can you ask for? They're also super easy and quick to use 11/10 would recommend.
Rotation goes Zhongli E -> Raiden E -> Nahida E -> Nahida Q -> Venti E -> Venti Q -> Zhongli Q -> Raiden Q and go wild with her on field
more often than not tho, things are dead by the time I use Venti's or Zhongli's Q, or I just use Nahida Q and use her on field instead
Oh I love this set, I love it so much. My beloved Dendro Zhongli.
He has one job and it is to be Nahida's protection squad
Deathmatch is there for sentimentality (?) and bc crit rt heck yeah
4pc Deepwood HP/Geo/Crit dmg meaning yes this is another hybrid build though he's more oriented to be defensive/shield and instead serving that sweet sweet 30% dendro res debuff + his own 20% elemental res debuff so Nahida can attaccccc
I originally had an HP circlet for him but his shield is so strong already I just decided I wanted more raw power and his burst usually do a very nice 70k when critting
Oh this lady is dangerous. Holding the record for my strongest single strike dmg she could be considered a hypercarry since she comes out to sweep with her burst then leaves again when on cooldown but lemme tell you with THAT level of ER and how quickly these team's bursts fill they haven't even gotten out of cooldown and they're already raring to go. Talk about godly stamina hm?
4pc Emblem Atk/Electro/Crit dmg as per usual DPS builds I was blessed with skyward spine so why not. I am not fishing for The Catch. Her skill is already insane as it proccs with each of Nahida's dendro attacks, Venti's swirls and even Zhongli's stone steele resonances and once you start spamming bursts that chkra desiderata BUILDS UP.
Her bursts usually does 150k if she decides to crit. (aka when Zhongli doesn't bc they have an unspoken agreement apparently)
Baby god is so strong, we love her.
From the very start I wished to build up her EM with Gilded dreams so I prefarmed that over deepwood, turns out you can give deepwood to any other party member (esp if you have a second dendro) and let her run wild with EM sets. I did a LOT of testing and calculations with her and dendro cup works better, esp since once the right conditions are met she DOES end up reaching that 1k EM roof. Solar pearl bc I refuse to give her sac fragments I had this beautiful perfect crit rt weapon sitting there collecting dust I was going to USE IT. Everyone likes crit rt anyway and she uses amplifying reactions soooo...
4pc Gilded dreams EM/Dendro/EM uses her E to link enemies so Raiden's skill can do dmg and goes ham on the normal attacks. she usually does anywhere from like 12k-25k dmg but honestly the green numbers go wild.
CRIT VENTI??? More likely than you think I am sick of VV EM pieces. In all honesty he's kind of a hybrid whose job is to succ in enemies with his burst and swirl electro (not hard when you can't swirl geo nor dendro ehe)
4pc VV Atk/anemo/crit dmg yet an EM weapon on Stringless. Once he infuses and swirls electro that does WONDERS with the VV debuff and helping Nahida keep the reactions going. Furthermore there's also the fact he helps the ER with his skill and passive.

Each of them is crowned at least once but I might go triple. I am a huge archon simp what can I say? I love them so much.
Hope to get engulfing lightning one day :c and kinda keep improving them but honestly they just d e s t r o y.
As a random side note they each have the glider from their nations bc REPRESENTING <3 and also Venti has an AP Goblet and Zhongli a VV Goblet as pure shipping statement (?) because oh lord am I a massive Zhongvenshipper lmao, my precious OTP.

A/N 2: So, as I stated this mini-series is part of my 1K followers celebration. For the celebration I asked people to send in gif prompts, or requests for me to write, all of which would be posted on my birthday, which is TODAY! 🎉
I only ended up with 6 prompts/requests, so I thought I would mix the prompts in with my own ideas, and I decided to write this little mini-series as well as a (hopefully) special surprise for those who enjoyed Dean and Julie in Green is My Favorite Color.
At 7:00 PM, I will post my last fic for the celebration, the first chapter of my sequel series, I Will Find You in the Dark!

"Julie," Charlie chided, "you're gonna wear the carpet out."
"Good, it's hideous anyway." Jody answered for her. "Let's put an end to it once and for all!"
Julie stopped and looked back at the two women who made up her bridal party and threw her hands up. "Where is he?"
Both women came to her side to soothe her, each taking one of her hands, Jody on the left and Charlie on the right.
Charlie shrugged. "You know how those guys get, lose their heads if they weren't screwed on. I'm sure they're on their way."
"They were supposed to be on their way already! Julie cried, frustration and fear oozing out of her. "Cas zapped himself out of here to go get them a half hour ago. The motel is ten minutes away! We have a church full of guests out there!"
Jody patted her hand. "Sweetie, it's a dozen or so crotchety hunters, they'll keep."
Julie pulled away from the women to resume her pacing.
"He's not coming. He's talked himself out of it."
Jody shook her head. "Sweetie that man is so besotted with you it's amazing he ever actually leaves your side."
Charlie nodded. "She's right, Julie. Dean is madly in love with you, you're all he ever talks about."
Julie was shaking her head frantically. "No, it was a mistake to separate from him last night. Stupid traditions, can't see the bride before the wedding - idiocy! That man is a flight risk!" She said, throwing her arms up in defeat.
Charlie walked directly in front of Julie and forced her to stop pacing once again. She spoke in calming tones. "Julie, I promise you he's coming."
She took Julie's hand again and began to rub the back soothingly. "Look, he's told me that in the past he walked away from you a few times and hurt you, but that he swore to you he'd never leave you again."
Julie smiled softly. "He told you about that?"
Charlie grinned. "Vodka may have been flowing freely, but yes, he told me. And he tells me often how perfect you are and how much he doesn't deserve you. And when I say he's wrong, he says that it doesn't matter cause unless you ever, 'get smart enough to chuck him'," Charlie said, using finger quotes, "he's staying with you."
She gave Julie a quick, reassuring hug. "He'll be here, sweetie."
As Charlie pulled out of the hug, Julie smoothed down her little, white, cotton wedding dress and tried to breathe deeply. Charlie and Jody were right, of course. Dean wouldn't hurt her like that. Even if he was panicking a little, he'd come talk to her about it. He wouldn't just leave.
A small frown marred her brow again. But then, where was he?
Just as the thought entered her mind, the sound of smashing, screaming and yelling came from the front of the church. The women all froze for a moment before racing out to the sanctuary to see what was going on.
They skidded to a halt as they ran through the door and saw the scene in front of them.

People all around the city ending their day, going into a popular club to party, eating at a fancy restaurant with people they adored and loved or staying in a even fancier and more expressive hotel room to get pressed against a wall by your long time lover after meeting up with both yours and his closest friends for the first time.
Serotonin is still going through your body, making you feel all brave and giggly as you lift your head so Foolish could kiss your neck, licking over the soft skin and sucking a hickey on it.
