To Ward a Natural Space
This is a Ward that defends a natural area against those who would disrespect the land. It was taught to me by the Glaoming Folk, and I have since been given permission to share the process in hopes that others might use it to protect their own beloved ecological sites. It is worth noting that this ward only seems to have a range of about 20 to 40 feet, which I realize isn't necessarily ideal, but when strategically placed, multiple wards can be used to create a 'warding net' across an area.
To make this Ward, a switch must be harvested from a propitiated Crabapple tree, which is then split in half to create a pair of sticks measuring approximately the same length. Thereafter, a long and thin runner of blackberry bramble is collected and harvested—ideally from a place with fae activity—and is stripped of leaves. A God's Eye is then woven using the Crabapple sticks and the Blackberry brambles, working one's intent into every turn of the Weaving, before a tuft of Hare's fur is ensnared within the center of the ward. All of this must be done bare-handed, as every prick and drop of blood serves to strengthen the will of the Ward and appease the Spirit of the Blackberry, which lends its power to this magic.
The resultant device can then either be hung with twine, or simply placed in a fitting spot. It has shown itself to be quite helpful in discouraging those who would litter or mar a natural space from doing so. While littering and tree carving hasn't gone away entirely since beginning to use these, it has most certainly dropped significantly—and only in the places where they are employed.

ooH! I've had this Idea floating around in my head! Yandere!silver, with a reader who has powers that basically allow them to make people stay awake for as long as they want if that makes sense! :) remember to take breaks and drink water! ^^
Silver with a s\o who keeps him awake
Yandere Silver x reader
Silver was ecstatic, to say the least. Hands grabbing yours in gratitude, fingers trembling madly.
Sleep was his poison, his Achilles heel. As accepting as his family was of his… condition, Silver still woke up screaming, sometimes.
Forehead beaded with cold sweat, dripping down his scalp. Gruesome images of Malleus stricken down, lifeless bodies scattered across the ground, his own blade still clean.
It was his worst fear. Not the fall of the prince of Fae, not the defeat of his compadres… but the fact he’ll sleep through the battle, leaving the rest to their fate.
Yet here you are. One touch was all you needed. A simple brush of your fingertips against his skin. The drowsiness vanishes, heart thumping wildly within its cage of bone.
With those miraculous ability of yours, his eyelids will never again fall of their own accord. Silver would fall upon his knees immediately, if there was no one to stop him. A knight’s bow, before their saviour. It was the least he could do, the least he would do for you.
He would do anything for you.
Unfortunately, now you’ve earned the service of your very own knight. Silver takes it upon himself to protect you, whatever that entails. He’s never far behind, trailing behind you like a shadow. Wary of anyone that approaches, hand dancing on the handle of his Magic Pen.
Anyone could be a threat. A danger, especially to you. You were kind. Silver was well aware of that, even before you offered to help him. You would help anyone, if they needed it.
This habit of yours gives Silver much grief. Some people latch on to people like you. Milking them, for all they can give. Trampling on your kindness, always demanding more-
He’s the only one who’ll appreciate your kindness. Your love.
He has to protect you.
He needs to protect you.
He will protect you.
Bit by bit, he starts to pull you away from others. Pretending to fall asleep in the classroom, so you’ll stay behind with him. He never truly “wakes up” until everyone’s gone. Until anything that could hurt you leaves.
Gently inviting you to study sessions with him. Silver’s been dozing off most of his classes. He needs a little help catching up, and who better to ask then you?
You’ll never have a chance to be alone, not with Silver awake. Somewhere in his heart, he knows this isn’t right. It hurts him, lying to you like this. It isn’t what a honourable knight would do.
Yet the more lies he tells, the more easily they come to him. Cover stories of why he needs to stay by your side 24/7. Tall tales of why no one wants to hang out with you anymore.
Silver tells himself its all for your sake. Everything he does, it’s to protect you. It’s all for you. He repeats those lines everyday. A mantra, engraved in his mind.
It’s the truth. It’s his truth.
If he ever believed otherwise, Silver may just break.

Greetings and Good Morning,
I was wondering. What is a Pender Charm, and are there any books I can read to start learning about your magical path or one similar?
Thank you for your time,
Anon
Hello there.
'Pender' is a name I use to describe a personally developed warding amulet, composed of a Hagstone and a Fossil Urchin that are bound to one another with a length of beads (I have experimented with different numbers of beads, but ultimately settled on 13.) Each material is chosen for significant cultural and/or personal associations with its given purpose, the innate virtues of which are then aligned and enlivened in a particular manner. The actual schema behind its construction, empowerment, and ratification are private—as is the case with the vast majority of personal magic I talk about here—but the end-result is an empowered implement that has been programmed to recognize and defend against malefic forces.
As far as books where you can read about my tradition, the only ones in existence are currently the private journals and grimoires I have in my possession. But I do talk, ever so sparingly, about it here. One day, however, I will likely put forth a gramarye of my Craft, as reified and guided by the hand of my Kith. Thank you for your interest, though. Anyone with questions or interests regarding the Wending Way are welcome to come to me with them, so long as they are willing to accept the fact that, depending on the nature of the question, I may not be able to answer them at this time.

@ofwoodandbone door protection charm repost
I'm going through my archives and found this door charm I reblogged in early 2022 from @ofwoodandbone. However, they deleted their blog and the username has been taken by a spam blog. The original URL of this post has been lost.
I'm reposting it now as I think it's cool.
ofwoodandbone:
When you put magical protection around your home, you mustn’t ever forget about the door(s).
Not just your door, but the door that it represents. It is the portal into your space. You need to enchant it and lock it.
Knock on the door thrice.
Touch your tongue, then mark the a cross on the door.
Blow on it once.
“They that come to knock on thee,
Flesh or spell or spirit be,
shall face itself ‘for they meet me,
The good shall enter and the ill shall leave.”
*It wouldn’t hurt if you wanted to line your doorway with sprinkled pinches of salt, protective herbs, or cascarilla. If you’re going to be locking your door, might as well put an extra bolt or two in.
