Do you have your top 10 or 5 Lunter scenes? If you do, which are they?

1.) Hunting Palismen, the scene where they both open up to each other for the first time. Hunter has this smile and that spark in his eye as he talks about wild magic to her. He soon catches himself and stops talking about it, but he still ends up opening up to Luz a lot anyway. I think this is where it all started, really.

2.) Hunting Palismen, HE PROTECC. It's automatic, instinctive, he just met this girl and this is crazy but already he's gonna keep his enemy from getting blasted to bits

3.) Hollow Mind, most of the episode has been leading up to this moment, when Hunter finally accepts Belos is not the person he thought he was, which completely and utterly tips his entire world on its head-- and he allows himself to be vulnerable with Luz and let her in, accept her help.

4.) Hollow Mind, the moment Hunter STANDS UP to Belos directly for the first time, by using the forbidden wild magic, because more than anything he knows he has to protect Luz. The reason he can save her is because Luz herself saved him-- the lifeline of her jacket is something he held onto and gave him a way out of the dark we thought we had lost him to forever.

5.) Thanks to Them, Flapjack lets Luz use him to reach Hunter, it's always Luz, it's always them, they save each other, this is their story at the end of the day, they are the incarnations of a human and a wild witch bound by love and fate to echo throughout the centuries, but this time is different, this time they are going to defeat Belos for good

• When your friend would pull you away glaring at him he questioned what he did wrong

• When she would tell him you’re busy hanging out with her he was upset

• And Akaashi didn’t stand for Bokuto being upset so while you and Bokuto would invite them places Akaashi would protect Bokuto and You from seeing her seeth at the owl haired boy

• Akaashi protecc yes yes but he also attacc

• The moment your best friend is about to say you two have plans he pushed her face back

“What the hell Akaashi?!”

“Sorry y/f/n, you had a fly on your face.”

• But when Akaashi wasn’t there-

“Hey! Y/f/n! Y/n! Where did you guys go!?”

• She would drag you far away from him before you could say anything

• This would upset Bokuto, which you would walk over to him and kiss his nose

“Don’t be upset! It was a split second!”

• He would automatically light up with happiness he loved nose kisses stop

• You definitely were as clueless as Bokuto, because it wasn’t until Akaashi brought up your friend throwing things at Bokuto that you noticed

• This upset you, you knew Bokuto wasn’t the type to argue back because he wouldn’t wanna upset you or your homegirls 😎

• As much as you weren’t one to notice things right away, you were definitely one to confront people

“Y/f/n. You need to stop being rude to Bokuto.”

“I’m just worried about you is all!”

• You raised an eyebrow at this sitting with her

• Niether of them were slick about it, and they didn’t care

• With the amount of times they pull you by your arms and use you as a tug of war rope, you’d think your arms grew longer

Y/f/n: She has to come to my house, we have a test to study for *tugs you towards her*

Kuroo: Well Shes better off coming with me because you have no brain and I’m smarter than you *tugs you towards him*

• This goes on for awhile until Kenma just casually grabs you and walks away with you leaving them to argue and confused about where you went

• Sometimes when you force them to both study with you, you watch your best friend throw Kuroo’s stuff off the table

• Or he brings you a coffee and completely ignores her and let’s her go coffee-less

• They weren’t subtle and you had no clue as to why they were so mean to one another

• They crossed the line a certain day when you went shopping with Kenma, Kuroo and your best friend

Y/f/n: Shut it rooster head I’ll sell you so they can chop you up and have you for dinner!

Kuroo: You’re just mad you cant be naturally pretty like me!

• When she smacked Kuroo in the back of the head making him drop the coffee he was drinking and she claimed there was a “bug on his head” Kenma was already 10 feet away from y’all claiming he doesn’t know you guys

• Especially because he saw your fuming face he wanted no part in that

• As the two were bickering you stood over them, angrily with your fists to your sides both of the automatically getting quiet

“One more argument out of either of you and I’ll leave both of you here and take Kenma with me.”

• They both remained quiet and the rest of the trip was peaceful ✨

• Until you got home-

“She was MY best friend first.”

“She was not! Plus she’s my girlfriend that over rules best friend.”

how about a dark InuKag premise??

A little canon-divergent story...

The Inutachi comes across a village with a strange aura. Kagome says it gives her the creeps (and Miroku and Inuyasha agree), but she can detect a jewel shard somewhere in the village. They decide to go and check it out.

Inside, the villagers are warm and friendly, which suggests something other than the strange vibes coming off the village itself. The headman is very kind to them, feeds them, and offers them a place to sleep. However, he requests that the boys sleep in one room, and the girls in another.

During the night, Miroku, Shippo, and Inuyasha's room is attacked; youkai powder immobilizes Shippo and Inuyasha, and Miroku is bound, his shakujo taken away. Turns out this village is looking for a human sacrifice to appease their god (who also is in possession of the jewel shard Kagome detected), and since Inuyasha is half-human, half demon, the villagers think that he is special and will appease their god even longer...maybe forever.

And when Kagome realizes that Inu's been taken, it awakens her miko abilities (and her PROTECC mode), and she will blast through heaven and all the hells to get him back.

ANOTHER LONG ONE Oh boy this will be interesting *Entirely on the maybes of when they stop being dummy himbos* I tried

CANON

Who is the most affectionate? At first they would probably be very slow and gentle with the affection, considering there are already plenty of soft moments between them. Ryou is naturally affectionate towards his friends and loved ones, while Yang enjoys letting those she cares for know she does. But once the option is here, they would probably be very touch starved indulgence. Lots of tight holds, leaning into each other, soft whispers late into the night. Calling each other by their real names when alone.

Who initiates the handholding? Given the chance, Yang would absolutely go for hand holding first, as a grounding reminder. That it's real, Ryou is real, this is still reality. However I can see it being him that would in the quiet moments reach out to thread their fingers together, take solace in the warmth and grip.

Who worries more for the other? Ryou, without a doubt. While she worries over him and always has over the time they have known each other, Yang is the more feral. 'She protecc, she attacc, but also YANG YOU HAVE TO HOLD BACK'. After all these years, there has been the constant that Yang will willingly enter a fight if there is no other option. A combination of being a product of the world she's lived in, and the traumatic fear of loss.

Who is more likely to ask for help? Neither of them want to burden the other, or anyone really, with any of their troubles or endanger them, stubborn idiots. However they are extremely close, and if there was a deep need for help with something, or presence, and ear, then Ryou and Yang truly can depend on each other in times of need. And after a bit, probably more than willing to reach out. Breaking old habits is hard and never done in one night.

Who is the one always losing the keys? I feel like not one or the other would loose their keys all that often. Having been around in this world a god damn long time, they have learned to keep important objects close and on hand. But in Jack's case, maybe forgetting anything higher tech related would be more common.

Who leaves little love notes for the other? Being so tied with music, Yang would probably be leaving poems or small lyrics for Ryou now and then, while he'd leave behind heart felt notes of few lines.

Who can’t sleep unless the other is there? Sleep? These two? Less likely than you think! A combination of stubborn, trauma, PTSD, and the refusal to fall prey too the internal minds. But all the same, Yang wants to help him sleep more. But I feel that knowing they both have someone dependable there, they can't sleep well at all without each other.

Who is more likely to propose to the other? Two dummy thicc stubborn idiots managing this far? Your guess is as good as mine! This is much like a wild card, and it depends entirely on the thought processes. But if a lot of time goes by, it would be Yang, with a simple gold ring with writing around the inside of it. If she doesn't internalize it and let the thoughts spiral forever. Otherwise Ryou just might get the chance first.

Who introduced the other to their family first? Jack/Ryou, since he has adopted Ashi as a dottir. Yang doesn't really have any family left, considering her age and the wars of the past. And Scottsman is absolutely the wild uncle.

Who is more likely to play with the other’s hair? I've said this before, but Yang does love playing with her partners hair, and Jack is going to be spoiled like this. Running her fingers through his long hair, enjoying how soft it is. And amazed he can tie all of it up so easily and quick. Talent.

Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated? It would possibly switch depending on the day and the others moods, the highs and lows. Yang will absolutely spoil him with salmon items, green teas, and peach anything, especially peach mochi.

Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other? A long time ago it would have absolutely been Yang immediately ready to throw down. But now, they are far more on par, and Ryou would absolutely be protective if he knows something would be too much or too dangerous for Yang to handle. He's the holder of most braincells and also arguably the more dangerous out of the two of them.

Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other? Yang loves spoiling and surprising those she cares about. Be it small hand made items, food, silly gifts, it's just nice. So most often she might surprise him with something. But Jack is also the type to take great consideration and time to return such acts of affection.

Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things? Jack/Ryou. While the two of them no longer age, he is well aware Yang is much older and has crossed a lot of lines in the past. Long ago when he was more bright eyed, it was him that had Yang not be so merciless in a fight with someone, more willing to give second chances in a world that was so twisted already. He would most likely make her promise not to take unneeded risks. But on the flip side of that coin, Yang would make Ryou pinky swear to not let himself spiral so far down in himself and his thoughts.

Who puts a blanket over the other when they fall asleep on the couch? Sleeping on the couch? It's a miracle! In all seriousness though, the most likely scenario would be Ryou coming across Yang slumped on the couch at some point and putting a blanket on her. Since she will go quite a long time without sleep naturally, but further than should be done. But this doesn't mean that Yang wouldn't find him once in a rare blue moon instead, and put her vest over him with a blanket. Potentially going to slip closer to let his head lay in her lap.

MK VERSES

Who is the most affectionate? It would take a while for them to get here, but as close and trusting as the two are, if one wants affection then it will be given. Touch starved old souls want their cuddles, and they want them now. In this particular case I feel it might be Ryou sunshine boy that is just a little more. Yang will eventually melt into it, if she's not being the big spoon, or letting him lay on her chest to hear the heartbeat.

Who initiates the handholding? Depending on the where and when, it could be one or the other. But feel Yang might be the one to reach out and hold, but Ryou's grip might be just a little tighter when the thread their fingers together.

Who worries more for the other? When is there not worry for the other? Both of them are dangerous warriors in their own right and have been through hell and high water, improved their fighting skills and talents over the years, thus seen each other messed up in more ways than one. It's natural. But does not mean the fear or worry goes away. But I feel like in certain scenarios, it might be Yang that worries more about him, and gets herself ready for the worst- which in turn makes him worry harder. It's an infinity loop!

Who is more likely to ask for help? For something smaller, it's left unsure. Potentially willing to bring one or another in for help. It's not often that the need for it might arise if it's something more difficult, but if it does, it might just be Yang to ask first. Stubbornly.

Who is the one always losing the keys? Potentially these two, who carefully keep track of such things, would rarely loose anything. For ease of sue as well, Yang might just label what keys of hers go where for Ryou, because Yang does travel.

Who leaves little love notes for the other? I can see Ryou leaving more simple notes, but Yang will leave origami folded flowers for him in return, to unfold and read himself. They may even use different languages to convey things better, seeing as some are lacking in words.

Who can’t sleep unless the other is there? Both of them no doubt, considering they've been through way too much. But having a warm body there to hold can help. However... The meaning of proper sleep is lost on Yang, as her schedule is often stay up 48 hours, sleep for 9 or so after, rinse and repeat. It means more likely to watch over and protect. Waking from nightmares and memories is a common event. But with Ryou there she can manage to sleep more regularly and not be so tense. The nightmares don't stop of course, but it does help.

Who is more likely to propose to the other? Oddly enough, while Yang had been the one who proposed too her old fiance many years ago, in this particular instance she might not. Would just be content and happy with what they have here, not daring push it. So it probably in the end would be the half edenian if it went that far. Unless Yang uses music to do so.

Who introduced the other to their family first? If very close friends and ally's count as family, or adopted ones, then I feel like it doesn't matter who does it first. This would just come into happening with lost of smiles and gleeful joy. Have you seen the adopted kids? Here they are on both sides, aren't they fantastic!

Who is more likely to play with the other’s hair? Yang would adore playing with Ryou's hair, brushing it and braiding or such things, massaging his scalp. Her hands are surprisingly soft, thanks to wearing gloves all the time. But if he were to do the same for her, she would be weak for it.

Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated? Eating hearty and staying hydrated is something Yang always needs to do, and knows how horrible it is to not do so. So while she may sometimes neglect herself, this woman will make sure to feed Ryou as well as keep his favorite tea on hand as often as possible. She wants to make sure he is healthy as well as happy.

Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other? Considering how powerful these two can get I don't think there is an either one here. Ryou's own grandmother gave Yang the blessing to fist fight an Elder God, and Ryou himself is ready to throw down if he has too, as well as having fought a god himself too. In the end though, it is the calm and collected ones you need to watch out for more. If the culprit in question is truly beyond redemption and a blight on life, Ryou will take someone out and no one will find the body.

Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other? Remember how Yang enjoys showing her affection in various ways? This is another one of those, and yes, she will get small surprised for Ryou. Be it wood carvings of certain places, people, or items, or personalized object of some sort, even a keychain perhaps, Yang will surprise him with such things. But I feel he would do the same with Yang, and possibly be something that would entirely catch her off guard.

Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things? They both do, making the other promise not to run headlong into things, or get them selves hurt. After having been through so damn much on either side, they know what each other is capable of, as well as the dangers that don't scare them no matter what. But more than likely it would be Ryou coming across Yang having succumb to sleep or exhaustion on the couch or in a chair, maybe even a desk. Woman tries too much at once and tries to keep notes and information, and will end up dropping things. So it would most likely be him to pull a blanket up and over her. But he's no exempt from experiencing the same thing, because if Yang were too find him asleep somewhere as well, then he'd be softly tucked in, and her staying close to reassure with her presence and warmth.

ask for writers !!

thank you @tomlinvelvetfics for tagging me! and thank you @soldouthaz for making this tag!

1. describe how you first started writing and when you first posted: i’ve been writing for years now, i started with het (ew!) 1d fics in portuguese back in 2011, it was actually those little imagines we used to write, don’t know if anyone remembers hehe. i posted them on a facebook page i was part of and i remember the first thingy i wrote was something with niall, but i really don’t remember any details (but was probably bad as heck since i was 11).

my first larry fic i probably wrote around 2012 when i found out the gay fanfics world haha, i don’t remember what it was or anything tbh, in my head i always wrote and posted gay fanfic.

my first fanfic in english was a little one shot (like 400 words honestly), it was a translation of a previous work i wrote portuguese. i posted it a year and a half ago and it’s called playground love (please don’t look).

2. which of your characters do you typically resonate most closely with? do you base any characters off of yourself?: i usually write from harry’s pov because i love love l o v e describing louis and how angelic he is, so usually i tend to see louis as this ethereal ish character, cause it’s usually about harry falling in love with him. so whether i like it or no, i tend to be closer to harry’s characters in my fics, i always like to put a bit of myself on him and make the character real, you know?

3. where do you often find inspiration?: honestly? anything! i’ve written fics inspired by tumblr posts, tweets, pictures, songs, movies, things that happened in my real life, books. i literally wrote a pwp because i couldn’t stop thinking about leather pants (go read my robin hood au).

4. has quarantine helped or hindered your writing process?: in the beginning it was really helping me, i’d stay up till 4am everyday just writing like crazy, but then i got into the worst writer’s block and didn’t write shit for months. (and of course right when i started getting new ideas, i started working so i have no free time).

5. do you listen to music/noise while you write or do you prefer silence? always listen to music, all the time. i can’t do anything without music. mostly because my brain is a mess and music helps me concentrate. i usually go for some chill songs, some indie pop and stuff.

6. what is your biggest writing pet peeve in your writing or in general?: oh my god, when i’m writing and two or more paragraphs start with the same word, one after the other. it drives me crazy!!!! and sometimes i spend hours looking for ways to word differently the sentences, just so i don’t have two paragraphs starting with “the”.

also when my paragraphs are two (or one) lines long, i can’t! it has to have three or more lines.

7. describe your ideal writing setup: at the dining table, in the middle of the night, with some soft music playing in the background and some popcorn with me!

8. favorite time of day to write?: well, just said it hehe i like writing at night.

9. favorite genre to write + one you’d like to try writing in the future?: woah, that’s tough because i literally write any genres! i really love writing fantasy and horror stuff, but i feel like it’s not really well accepted in the fandom? (spec horror). and when people like it, they only read from bigger authors so i usually keep myself from writing those. aaand tbh i probably already wrote most of fic genres out there, so there isn’t much left to try.

10. do you struggle with writer’s block? how do you typically overcome it? i’m writer’s block bitch and i do not know how to overcome her

11. what is the easiest part of your writing process and the most difficult? outlining tbh, i usually don’t (and it comes back to kick me in the ass). i always have too many ideas at the same time and can’t stick to one, so outlining and finding the right plot is really hard.

12. how do you come up with original characters? (if applicable): lately i haven’t really had the chance to come up with ocs, but when i wrote original books (not fanfics and stuff), i usually started with the gender and one outstanding personality trait and went from there.

13. what is your favorite and least favorite word? i love the words ethereal and breeze, omg you’ll find them A LOT on my fics. and my least favorite word is growl.

14. what is one thing about your writing that you’re really proud of and one thing you hope to continue working at?: i think i describe the vibez in the scene really well, it’s my favorite thing to do. and i need to work more on building my sentences, because theyre always supermessy.

15. what work of yours has your favorite ‘verse/world building? how did you come up with it?: definitely the fic i’m working on right now! i’m putting so much work on the world building since it’s a fantasy fic, so i’m planning every little detail about it. i hope other people like it too when they read it !!

16. what font and size do you write in? single spaced or double?: comic sans, 12pt, single spaced. don’t come at me.

17. what is a typo(s) you find yourself making consistently?: because english isn’t my first language, i always change like ‘th’ for ‘d’ (because it has a similar sound in portuguese), so catch me typing ‘de’ instead of ‘the’ or ‘dey’ instead of ‘they’.

18. (if applicable) do you separate fic writing from fandom?: i didn’t understand the question so i’m pretending i never read it hehe

19. what emotion is your favorite to write? which is the most difficult?: my favorite to write is probably,,, love/adoration, like harry looking at louis like he’s the whole world and thinking about how amazing he is? i love it.

and the most difficult is probably anger, i find it really hard to write like fights and stuff like that because usually i make the characters sound more sad than angry.

20. what is one thing you hope readers always take away from your works?: i never thought about that but,,, i hope they start finding joy in small things that happen in their day. that’s something i use a lot in my fics and i think it’s very important to bring it to real life. like enjoy that late night tea, showering in the morning, spending a summer day in the house, cleaning, etc.

21. what is the best and worst writing advice you’ve ever received?: i think the best advice is one i got from someone i no longer talk to, they told me this when i first started writing in english and it is to stop trying to write fancy or like native english speakers, because it’s much better to write simple sentences that i’m confident about than write sentences with words i barely know how to use.

and the worst advice is TO OUTLINE! i know i should maybe i dont know but leave me alone, i hate outlining bye

22. which one of your works would you most want to see turned into a film/television show?: ok so,,, it’s a book i wrote like three years ago with original characters. it’s called great evil and i wrote it in portuguese. it’s full of violence and acid humor, about a very evil and sarcastic demon and an angry hunter. (one day i’ll translate that book and turn it into a larry fic)

23. do you write scenes chronologically or out of order?: chronologically. always

24. how do you handle criticism?: really bad. please be careful with what words you use. i’m already really hard on myself when it comes to my writing, so sometimes someone says something and (it might be dramatic but) i feel my world crumbling and i want to stop writing right away.

25. what is the advice you would give to someone who is looking to start writing?: just,,, do it. there’s no right or wrong way to do it. there’s no such thing as too much or too little, bad or good plots. every idea is a good idea. write it for yourself, write something you like. go ahead and just do it. there’s always someone out there who will enjoy your work, no matter what.

26. what kind of feedback on your work always makes your day?: any comments make my day tbh, if you comment on my fic i’ll be forever grateful and will be smiling like a fool the whole day. honestly, even a “omg i loved it” comment can make my day.

27. which fic ‘verse of your own would you most like to exist in? which fic’s characters would you most like to befriend?: the one i’m writing 100%, please i want to live in a fantasy world. i wanna live in the water kingdom and have faerie louis as my king please.

and i’d like to befriend louis from my fic kiss me in your chevrolet, he’s a sweetheart and i must protecc.

28. what do you always enjoy getting asks about/wish people would ask about more?: anything! i rarely get asks so anything is good hehe

29. what has writing added to your life? how has it changed you?: it’s such a big part of my life, i spent all my teenage years writing and it really is what built my personality. it helped me being more creative with all aspects of my life and take life lightly, enjoy little things and moments.

30. why do you write?: i just love having ideas and putting out there, playing with words and finding new ways to describe daily things.

5 THINGS YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER.

1. Indomitable - She pretty much does what she wants, how she wants, whenever she wants. If she wants something? She manipulates her way into getting it. She doesn’t stop until she has it and hardly anything will sway her otherwise. She’s extremely hard to control when determined and set on a task in mind. She’s hard to control period. She’s got a streak of wild, impulsive, and loves to toy with others be it malicious or just to tease. Her will is near impossible to break and she never believes that she can’t do something even if it is the impossible. Atop of that she’s fairly hard to defeat physically, she’ll bring more than a challenge if ever attack or if a loved one is ever hurt. I’m not saying that she can’t be brought down because she can, but it’s going to take more than a couple of hits.

2. Emotional Depth- There’s not just one tier to Isrieal, there’s a million and it’s a labyrinth. She comes off as cold, arrogant, prideful but that’s the main wall that she hides behind. She’s strong and will exude complete confidence most of the time while being sly, cunning, coy, and whatever else she can throw at you. These are the emotions she shows to the world but the rest she’s buried so deep inside that she forgets they even exist. Inside she’s broken, sad, lonely, tormented but she has her ways of hiding them and biting back the pain that feeling these emotions brings. It’s from the conditions she’s been stuck in for her whole life at Hojo’s mercy and the lies she’s had to tell herself to make it easier to handle. Of course, this naturally makes her volatile with bursts of anger or other strong emotions and if she let’s one slip out they all come spilling out sooner or later. She does have a tendency to use special sedative injections to subdue these emotions whenever she feels any starting to well up. Deep under it all, however, she loves with all of her heart once she is sure that she will not be hurt. She’s always afraid of that in a way, but there is no in between. You have her all or you have her nothing. But once there she is quite passionate and protective and more soft and innocent then she’d originally lead you to think.

3. Manipulative - Life is a game and she plays to win. At least that’s how one survives in ShinRa. She learned from one of the best manipulators out there and now she’s known to even manipulate the Professor himself. She rose herself from experiment to assistant Director by playing him and she plays everyone around as she sees necessary in order to get what she needs. She often shows what she wants to show and nothing more, near every move and every article of clothing is precisely calculated towards whomever she is meeting with. Of course, only if you don’t know her well.

4. Deals with the Devil- Oh yes, she loves to make deals but don’t worry they’re mostly fair and she is one to keep to her word and her promises. Despite her demeanor she is quite loyal when she promises something. If you work out a trade or a bargain she’ll do her best to uphold her end of it, getting you what you want in return. There is a lot that can be traded between science and other departments after all and she’s not afraid to go behind the Professor’s back here and there if it means obtaining something she’s personally after in the end.

5. A.I Alien - Lastly, yes I love the fact she is a hybrid and loves to play with quantum theory and A.I in the future. I always love the sci-fi aesthetics and concepts and the idea of something beautiful having a monster inside. She’s at conflict with this part of herself, often not knowing how to fully accept it but at least she is in control of the cells and not the other way around. She’s also always been focused on uploading consciousness and prolonging and bringing others back to life since she doesn’t age. It’s from there that she gets pulled into quantum theories and eventually breaks through to a system A.I that she makes a deal with to her own advantage, but this is a plot I haven’t touched in a while. Really I love everything about her but these are some fun and dominating concepts.

1. @animus-inspire Where do I start? Seriously. This was unexpected but yet one of the best things that has ever happened in my writing history. I love love love this ship and all the AU’s of it so much! And beyond that, it’s so rare to get me to talk a lot but I can’t seem to ever shut up around you xD. But, I LOVE talking to you and the connection we have and the fact that we have so many stinking ideas all the damn time and they all get played off each other so easily and that we can share the same obsessions and YES WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! But you are also one of the sweetest and most full of life people I know on here and I absolutely love writing with you, you’ve made it so great :3. And you are seriously best Reeve and have made me love all the Reeve. <3

2. @thefirstthaumaturge I’ve known you for about like, well.....well over 10 years xD And I love you more as the years go on. We’ve survived drama days together and now we can laugh about all the stupid RP stuff we did in the past. I also enjoy all of our new RPs and how great its been to see both our OCs grow and thrive in these communities. I also super love talking to you and playing video games with you and watching WestWorld and movies with you. Basically, you make everything super fun and I don’t know what I’d do without you around. I also love how we always manage to say/type the same things at the same time all the damn time xD Digital sisters but its as real as it gets.

3. @shinraweirdscience @xbroken-science @insidious-scientist I love all of my Hojo’s that deal with Izzy’s crazy ass and put up with me so thank you guys! I’m always down for crazy plots and all the trauma that comes with them so don’t ever feel bad about throwing anything at me or damaging Izzy. It’s what makes her her after all. And I find it all a lot of fun. I’m always ears for ideas so let me know!

4. @sadistic-second I don’t write a whole lot with you here but you’re always good company in the voice chats and you make playing games a lot of fun as well. I like our little group we have going on to do all the stuffs. I love all the gifs and icons you make, and the paracord is very creative as well. It’s always cool to see what you can do. Of course I like all the funny things too. @apathetic-ruler I have to say you’re writing is amazing, I love it! I haven’t wrote with your Ru but I love past life Ru xD One of these day’s I’ll figure out what to do with a Rufus I’m sure.

5. @ivory-paragon We don’t write much but I love playing FFXIV with you and being in all your groups. It’s a very fun and enjoyable atmosphere and you make me laugh all the time. If I hadn’t found you I wouldn’t have found any of this awesome community and my great shippy ships that have come out of it. @rikelusshinra I love all of our RP’s and stuff too. You have a super amazing OC that seems to fit right in and I’ve loved writing with Rike. Even if you are busy now. It’s rare Izzy finds ships that work but you are one of those lucky ones that she fits well with and I love all the ideas we play with as well. So to my FFU peeps! Even if we don’t write on tumblr much I still love you both.

So okay, I’ve thought about this all day and I’ll do a few categories. Since I revolve around music so heavily and no lie have hundreds of my own music videos in my head for every song I’ve ever heard, yes I’m one of THOSE people. xD

So I’ll start with what I’ve been listening to lately that really fits in with WestWorld Izzy and Logan!Reeve ShinuestiLos xD I can’t seem to get Poker Face out of my head for her and a couple other Lady Gaga songs that fit in Like this one too.

Also I really love these songs but they are so random. This one mostly thanks to ARI, but I can never not listen to it when it comes on. Also Mortal Kombat. This song makes me so fired up every time I hear any variation of it xD. Even now! alkdjfsldjfsdljf, but I do really like this mix.

Then we can’t forget those emo day songs. Mr. Brightside is one I can never resist singing. It’s just so damn good! Then there is Holiday by Greenday and can’t forget Miss Murder by AFI xD

Now I have an extremely long list of electronic type, synth, darkwave, trance, whatever the heck categories they fall under that I just like to call my Robot music xD Here’s a couple with AI themes that I’ll just throw out here. We Appreciate Power and quite literally A.I

And lastly this one reminds me of Midgar so much and Izzy, but I always see her singing this if she ever made a music video. (which apparently she’s made many) But she’d definitely be in front of wall sized windows with Midgar in the background and the labs, and its also why she sometimes refers to it as Electric City, idk who the guy would be singing with her but if you want it to be you just let me know? Lol. After all she is Indistinct. Ill Defined. Uncontrolled. Unconfined.

Unfortunately your meeting with the ice prince was cut short, as in the distance Masamune could be heard racing towards the cliff to retrieve you. Before you could even bat an eye you were on the back of Masamune’s horse and on your way to the castle. You were named as Oda princess and so your time at Azuchi began. You had made quick friends with the warlords, due to your outspokenness and unwillingness to just sit still and look pretty. If you had an opinion about something you were going to state it loud and proud and this was something that the warlords had really come to enjoy about you.

You were working super hard and starting to overwork yourself, something that didn’t escape the notice of the castle mother. Hideyoshi gave you a big bag full of coins and pushed you out the door, into the direction of the market. He told you not to come back until you had treated yourself to a nice relaxing cup of tea from one of the teahouses.

You walked around the markets aimlessly until something caught your attention. You had finally found a nice looking place to sit down and order some tea at. All was going well until you heard shouting coming from the front of the teahouse. You looked up to see some soldiers harassing the old woman that ran the place, things like these had a tendency to make your blood boil. You couldn’t stand people misusing their authority and power to push around the weak. Not to mention the fact that it became rationally inconvenient that they were bothering the woman, as you had been waiting over an hour now for your sweet buns. Which mind you, she was on her way to bring to your table before the men so rudely interrupted her. You got up and made your way to the commotion only to be caught in the middle of it all. THB you had forgotten that people in this time period carried swords around, a fact, that you were now very aware of as the soldiers had all drawn their swords and intended to cut you down for interfering with their business.

Thankfully a familiar man came to your aid and rescue. He had the soldier on their knees, begging for their lives within seconds. An Icy gaze turned to look at you, and he asked you if you were okay. Honestly, you were in a state of shock, having almost lost your life for the second time in the span of a month. Kenshin took notice of the fearful worried look in your eyes and offered you a hand. You absentmindedly took it, and he led you towards the table he was sitting at. He ordered you some tea and dessert in the hopes to calm you down. After a while, you noticed that he was still holding your shaking hands, rubbing soothing circles on the back of them with his thumb. Slowly but surely you started to calm down, and ever so slowly, Kenshin brought you back from the dark place you had fallen into.

The two of you didn’t exchange any words, simply sat and enjoyed each others presence and the comfortable silence. When it came time to part Kenshin, walked you back to the main road and curtly bid you farewell. It was strange, you felt the need to visit the markets more often after the incident at the teahouse. What made things even stranger was that every time you would wander around the markets, you would run into Kenshin. These little run in always resulted in the two of you spending time together, walking through the markets or sipping on sake. You had come to really like and trust Kenshin, and despite the fact that you were a woman, Kenshin found that he really enjoyed your company.

Unfortunately, all that came to an end one night when some assassins put a cloth over your mouth and carried you silently out of the castle. You slipped between consciousness and the last time you were awake, you could feel yourself being taken out of Azuchi on a moving cart. When you regained consciousness, you were locked in a cell in Kasugayama. You had a throbbing headache, and after about 20 minutes, a big bear of a man came to visit your cell. “I’m sorry about the way my ninjas handles you, my angel.” You looked up and saw two brown eyes staring back at you, you asked him where you were, and he explained that you were now a hostage to gain an advantage over Nobunaga. Shingen also said that he tried his best to convince his partner that a cell was no place for a princess, but that he couldn’t care less, cause he low key hated woman.

TBH after your mental trauma and due to all your emotional scares you couldn’t help but laugh at the irony, perhaps a dark cell is where you belonged, you had lived in darkness for so long what difference would it make if your physical state matched your mental state. Shingen simply looked up at you concern plain as day in his eyes, kissed your hand and said his goodbye. Sometime later a guard had brought you a fancy futon, a changing screen and some fresh clothes courtesy of Shingen.

That morning you woke up to the sound of two voices approaching your cell, you were met with a familiar pair of heterochromatic eyes. Kenshin’s eyes widened when he realized just who the captured princess was, “You….what on earth are you doing here.” Both of you had long ago fallen in love with each other, and when you realized just who Kenshin was, you submitted to your fate as a prisoner. You would do anything for the one you loved if it made them happy, even stay in a cell. He looked into your beautiful hazel eyes, those eyes he had long ago fallen in love with and saw pain in them, and your issues with self-worth, even if you would never admit it. The eyes are the windows to the soul, and Kenshin was now staring deep within yours. He wasted no time opening the cell door “Let’s get you out of here.” Those were the only words he muttered as he picked you up bridal style and carried you into the room next to his in the castle. Shingen stoop there absolutely paralyzed at the scene he had just witnessed, he could see a small change in Kenshin upon his return from Azuchi, but this was something new.

The two of you sat in silence, neither daring to break the silence until Kenshin finally spoke up “I’m so sorry, i-I didn’t know, if I had known it was you I would have never...” You looked at Kenshin and recognized the look in his eyes he had his own, pain, his own past traumas that were haunting him and although you had a major lack in empathy, your heart broke for him. The two of you spent that night talking about your past, it was a painful tale for you both. By the end of the night, both of you were nestled in each other’s arms after having cried for a better part of the evening.

The next morning everything had changed, the world didn’t seem so dark to the both of you anymore. That night you had promised each other to forever be at each others side, no matter what. Kenshin vowed to protect you no matter what and you promised to do the same for him. The two of you started your new lives together, and it was bliss.

Kenshin loved learning new thing about you. He loved how genuinely kind-hearted you were, going above and beyond to make people happy. He learned that you loved to produce things after you had made him some pickled plums. Of course, this made him the happiest man alive as he would gobble down the whole jar with his sake wearing a big smile the entire time. He would cherish every small handmade gift you would present to him.

One day Kenshin could hear music coming from your shared room, he slowly made his way towards the sound and carefully slid open the paper door to reveal, you dancing. He leaned against the door frame and watched the graceful movements of your dance. He was mesmerized, you were absolutely breathtaking. After your dance was completed, he clapped his hand and walked towards you. He snaked his arms around your waist and kissed you while telling you how beautiful your dance was. That’s when you had revealed to him that you could also play the violin. He was awestruck, truly was there nothing you couldn’t do. HE had searched far and wide until he finally found the instrument. He gifted it to you on one warm summer day and insisted you play for him.

He rested his head on your lap, and you move the violin to your neck to play for him. Soon the sweet sound of your music filled the room. It was so soothing and beautiful that even the bunnies had gathered around to listen to their goddess play.

Kenshin low key loves the fact that your possessiveness matches his own. Nothing in the world brings him more joy than when a daimyo’s daughter comes to visit, and you become x10 possessive over him. During the banquets, he will always wear a big smile as you make your way to sit on his lap and nuzzle your nose in the crook of his neck leaving a few kisses on his ears and jaw. You never did mind intense PDA especially when it is proving just who belongs to who, and you will have no shame in kissing Kenshin deeply in front of all your friends and the visiting guests just to prove that it is you and you alone who the bunny lords heart belongs to. But don’t worry the bunny lord will reciprocate every action with one of his own, especially when your Oda family come for a visit.

Kenshin loves to hug and cuddle you, and if he could, he would keep you in his arms every minute of every day. Often the two of you can be found together whether it’s walking hand in hand through the markets or with Kenshin resting in your lap as you play him a song, there is no place this soft boy would rather be. He knew from the moment he first saw you that you were his one and only goddess of war.

The scarf has been something that represents the"word is cruel but also beautiful"perfectly.While the scarf apparently provided mikasa with warmth in this cruel world,it also intrinsically tied her to eren(it's in her instincts to protecc him even if it means losing herself which is cruel)now that she has left it behind will it be brought up again? It doesn't have to be wrapping it around her again. I am just intrigued about whether the writing around the scarf suggests it's imp non-romantically

The scarf isn’t what “forces” Mikasa to protect Eren, and the mistake would be to believe that indeed, this scarf is a sort of symbolic chain of her enslavement as Ackerman.

The cruelty in the relationship Eren - Mikasa is all around, the cruelty of the parameters of their meeting, the obstacles that are put between them permanently, the necessity that will probably force them to separate at the end of story … But the scarf is the opposite of all this. The cruelty of their relationship rests on the need, on the outside world but the beauty of it on the free of their gestures of ‘affections’ (it’s not the exact word I want to use but I hope you can understand the idea with it), what the scarf embodies.

What woke Mikasa from her coldness isn’t Eren’s mantra “If you don’t fight, you can’t win” but the moment he gave her it.

This is one of the reasons why it is better in the anime, that the scarf is red and not black as in the manga. The red and the fact that it is a kind of thread and acts as a reminder to the Japanese of the story of the thread to the little finger (if you do not know: there is a belief in Japan that there is a kind of red thread hanging on the little finger of each person, and that it is connected to the other person with whom fate has bound them).

For Mikasa, the scarf symbolized Eren’s kindness, but also the positive destiny that brought them together. That’s why she tells him, in chapter 112, that it’s not atavism but “because it was you”.

It’s not impossible that Mikasa will never wear her scarf again, but I don’t think that will be the case. What has been put in place since the beginning of this arc about Mikasa tends to be resolved in in her total acceptation of herself (herself as an Ackerman, herself as an Asian, herself as Mikasa and not “Eren’s Mikasa”). Deny the importance that Eren had in her life by just stop wearing it forever wouldn’t go in that direction, and I don’t think doing that was her intention at that moment. The scarf just reminded her of Eren’s wickedness, and she needed to part with it to breathe a few moments, what her pained look towards it suggests.

About the romantically or non-romantically writing of it, to me, this scarf is tinted from the beginning with the code of love.

The first time Eren gave her, he blushed

a rather ambiguous sign. Of course, at that time they didn’t know each other and Mikasa was probably the first girl with whom he ever interacted so it may just be a little childish crush who went off by get to know her. Maybe I’m wrong, the idea is a totally personal interpretation, but blush in general are coded as romantics signs.

And when the scarf was brought back as the core of their relationship in chapter 50, the romantic code was again present since it’s the moment when Mikasa tried to kiss Eren as a final gesture.

But one of Mikasa’s problems with all this romantic aspect is that she isn’t aware of it. I believe that Mikasa doesn’t know she’s in love with Eren, and that’s one of the things she’ll have to solve. If she knew, she would have told him directly at chapter 50. That’s also why the discussion with Levi has to happen (but I’m deviating from the basic question sorry, I might do another post to deal with this idea).

Anyway, maybe it doesn’t have to be wrapped around her again as you said, but what was initiated in chapter 50 :

must be treated, along with the romantic aspect of their relationship. I’m not saying that this feeling must be rendered so reciprocally, oc, or even that the statement must be uniquely on it, because their relationship isn’t based solely on this aspect, but the scriptwriting treatment will have to integrate it.

If Mikasa puts her scarf again, or Eren wrap her up in it again, it’ll probably have a very different meaning with a complex background anyway, but which one is still hard to say.Everything will depend, presumably, on the revelations that will be made about Eren at this point of story.

how do you do fellow kids, i recently hit a milestone for this blog which is banana pants. this little blog was my first canon muse ( that i didn’t delete after a week ) and i couldn’t tell you how nervous i was about creating this blog. i hadn’t written a canon character before, i mostly wrote my oc’s and the like, kate was a character i never thought i would be any good at writing. slowly i got comfortable with tinkering around with her canon, wanted to explore alternate universes and timelines. that’s when i found some of the best people i’ve had the pleasure of writing with and becoming friends with.

As soon as I saw the post every piece of media and character I’ve ever enjoyed fled from my brain so these are in no particular order other than the order in which I could extract them from wherever they went hiding

Samwise Gamgee - LOTR in general has a lot to say about love and hope but I feel like it’s most concentrated in Sam. Not to oversimplify but he protecc, he eat snacc, he carry his best friend on his bacc okay that’s all I wanna do. Believe in the goodness of the world, love my friends, stay humble, and be strong because of it. Also eat potatoes. I could probably write an essay on Sam but I’m not much of a writer and also I would cry and I’m on the metro rn i don’t need weird looks I just love Sam so much

Burton Guster (Psych) - Gus is the type of character that I just feel like I know really well. In part because I relate to him, in part because I think they did a good job to make him really nuanced, but he’s just got that vibe in my mind of familiarity and understanding. Psych has been with me through a lot and the entirety of the show is so so good but I have found a special comfort and joy in Gus because there’s a lot about him I identify with.

Barry J Bluejeans (The Adventure Zone) - spoiler warning I guess? I love this good good necromancer scientist boy. Scientist? Me too, cool as hell. Necromancy? Not an option for me as far as I know but I probably would. CHUGS love-my-wife juice like no one’s business. Also love-and-protect-my-friends juice. He is The Lover and I love him for it. The love is stored in the Barry.

Angus McDonald (The Adventure Zone) - okay I was trying to be good about ten different things but I could not complete this list without mentioning my sweet boy Angus. Two of my closest friends listened after I did and were initially pretty annoyed by him but after his first “hello sirs!” I claimed him as my son and I’ve never looked back. I started listening to the adventure zone when I was going through probably the hardest period of my life so far and Angus really spoke to me at that time and he still does.

Jiang Yanli (The Untamed) - okay look. Like I said I’m trying to be good about only doing one character from each thing. And I could have done this list exclusively with characters from the untamed because it’s my most recent obsession and they’re all so good BUT. since I’m trying to be good I challenged myself to pick just one character and I ended up landing on Jiang Yanli. She’s a gift and she deserves more love and clearly I have a weakness for characters who’s greatest strength is their kindness and love. Don’t let her hear you talk shit about her family tho

Lan Wangji (The Untamed) - okay I lied I could not go without including him on this list because I am just extra soft for him. No spoilers cause I’m putting this on my main and tagging Nicole and she still may or may not watch at some point but #hedidthat

Elizabeth Swann (Pirates of the Caribbean) - I have been rewatching the first 3 POTC movies and I just have such a fondness for Elizabeth. It’s really fun to watch all the movies one after the other and see her progression into a full fledged pirate (THE pirate) because she spends the entire first movie and probably about half the second all “UGH PIRATES”. Also she believes in and can deliver a rousing pre battle speech which is an important skill lol

Cabbage Man (Avatar the Last Airbender) - I have included him both for my love of a good bit and also the fact that I hope he’s having a good day and his cabbage business is thriving he went through some tough things in a short period of time

Schmidt (New Girl) - I identify a lot with Schmidt as someone who is extra and loud and has a lot of passionate opinions on very specific things lmao. Also he starts off kinda douchey but they do a good job with his growth and ultimately I think he just wants to give and receive lots of love

Nina (In The Heights) - I don’t have quite the same level of expectations placed on me that Nina did or anything but I just think that feeling of letting people down and feeling like you failed and not knowing how to tell anyone or where to go from there is something I (and I would imagine many people) can relate to which means that when I listen to Breathe I cry without fail. Because it’s a beautiful song and also because I can feel those feelings in my self.
