If anyone speaks Epson photo printer and knows how to beat them into submission override the low ink/replace cartridge notification, please tell me your ways

I haven't been able to print anything in months (first due to color errors, which i still haven't figured out bc I can't actually print smh), and I've looked at guides online but nothing has worked ;0;

#munch sketches #wasnt it called my sketches. i dont remember. i dont care #not #my ocs #etc #ive had a really bad week. i dont usually have bad weeks. i dont think abt the past. i just move on #but it was a bad week. i was forced to sleep all day wed bc i was so sick and cramped that i couldnt do anything #this week was supposed to be a week off but then i was forced to go do volunteering for a school event for days and it rained all week #and i bought a new printer that im going to return tomorrow bc it sucks as expected. epson ecotank 2400 dont buy it. its not good quality-#wise. i keep pushing off my “day off” days further and further. i was supposed-#to take a day off for the weekend but that didnt happen. my next day off may be friday hopefully #it doesnt help that i dont like having unproductive days. but i really badly need one to bum around and relax soon or i might bite someone

I didn't actually mean for this to coincide with Twst's third anniversary, but hey, good timing is good timing. happy anniversary, everybody! 🎉🎉🎉

SO YEAH: a bunch of you guys were asking about prints of my unique magic/signature spell posters, so here are 6.25" x 4.25", 300 PPI versions of the images (the extra .25" is for bleed, so that a 6 x 4" print will still have the white border without it getting weirdly cropped). my color experiments did, uhhh, not go very well, so there's no color-correction, sorry. :') they should print reasonably okay, but it will depend on your settings/printer/paper/etc., so I recommend doing test prints first if you can!

this is current with the Japanese version, so it does contain spoilers through episode 7, and for the Glorious Masquerade event -- I plan on keeping it updated as I do more, so it will continue to be pretty spoilery! no plACEholder though, sorry, I didn't do him at print resolution. :( there are also a couple of alternates, if you decide you like those better: a red background version of Cater (to fit in more with the rest of the hearts boys), and a version of Ortho's with the ??? in ascii instead of binary. edit: and now also the unused version of Vil's!

lol hey so my printer just didn't get back to me at all for two weeks and suddenly Volume 3 Books Are Happening sometime next week (the proofs! just the proofs, which i had to make a full order of 20 to get, so hopefully they didn't fuck it up), I was going to make more announcements about the preorders during the period but i thought it would be smart to wait for my printer to give me the delivery date i asked for first :) whatever. if you want a book or any of the keychains i have coming in go check out the shop listings here and here. there's fun preorder stuff i was super psyched for that is still there if you want it but i'm so fuckin frustrated im not writing up any cute copy today lmao. thank yall very much for your patience as usual

#yesterday i had to apply to the biggest local convention #which i am doing badge art for and have been unofficially assured i was attending for months #and they fucked up their website so badly it literally beamed every vendor's personal information to everyone else applying #150 people were editing the same cart live it was a fucking nightmare #i had to pay them 300 dollars for the privilege of hoping their show helps me make rent that month #i have to pay this printer even more than that so i can get no communication about a whole box of books that might be unsellable #i want. anybody to fucking do their job #why do i worry so much about trying to run a tight ship if the only places i can take it are Like This lmfao

what are some artists that really inspire u?

one of my largest inspos to date has been Gigi Cavenago ! his work is just an insanely unique blend of painterly and graphic that appeals to me sooo much

even his less elaborate sketches show just how insanely skilled he is his understanding of gesture and line dynamics is crazy! not to mention most of his work is entirely digital he just has such a good handle on when and where to apply texture to mimic traditional ink drawing and painting techniques

other than him some huge influences on my work (far from being all of them though) have been Cliff Chiang (artist of Paper Girls, really fantastic inks and also just draws women really good) Eric Canete (does a ton of shit but i like his sketches a lot really good understanding of anatomy and how to stylize it) and Aleksander Rostov (I feel like most people know and love the art of Disco Elysium at this point but still unbelievably gorgeous stuff)

also im just inspired by almost every single artist i see especially my peers! I try to play around with style and technique as much as I possibly can because thats how I personally learn so my inspirations range wildly from comics to fine art painting to 2005 anime fanart

Every month for the last - I think 5?! - years I’ve thanked the top patrons. Every month I kindof cry a little because the fact that people enjoy and believe in Philosophy Tube enough to give like real money to it? And I can go to a shop and exchange that money for goods and services? And more importantly, I can give that money to the makeup artists and stylists and crew who work so hard to make Philosophy Tube the big ridiculous thing that it is, and they can use that money to also get goods and services??!

It’s amazing. Thank you all so much. I love you guys so flipping much.

There’s lots of bits of being an “influencer” that are weird or seem abstracted away from real life, like the analytics and the data and the (being brutally honest) loneliness of it. Especially now that Philosophy Tube is almost 10 years old: a lot of my mentors are gone, a lot of my rivals are gone... I’ve seen friends get chewed up by the industry; it’s scary sometimes. Doing the Patreon thank yous every month keeps me grounded and sane because it reminds me that what matters is the real flipping people who are there on the other side of the camera.

So thanks to you guys! This isn’t even all of them, there are so many who just give a tiny bit to make Philosophy Tube what it is. I can never thank you enough <3
