The Favor

When Youngblood became a ghost he actually didn't think he would be so lonely. It was stressful and annoying, being so young, watching the years go by but never being able to move on or change. He was a child who died, and the only way for him to feel like a child again was to play.

But even then he felt invisible. That made his powers listen to his wishes and cause no adult to see him. And maybe that was for the better, adults were scary, adults could hurt you. They wouldn't understand.

Meeting the other ghosts was both a blessing and a curse. Everyone saw him as a kid, some thought he was annoying and others played with him. He was grateful to Ember for spending so much of her time being a pirate, but he didn't want to take up so much of her time. It made him feel guilty.

When Danny became King and the ghost kid heard that he was destined to help the other ghosts, Youngblood plucked up his courage and asked him for a favor: Find him a friend. One alive that wanted to play and never get bored of it.

Danny took the task very seriously, looking for all possible candidates, avoiding ghosts. Until he found a more or less suitable friend: Klarion. He was older than Youngblood but seemed to be just as bored. Clockwork looked at him in dismay at his solution to the problem but didn't stop him.

This led to the Justice League being defeated by Klarion, who had taken over the Watchtower and seemed to be happily talking to air. He was seconds away from destroying the earth or something similar with death ray, but there was nothing they could do about it.

Everyone froze when a portal opened next to the boy and someone came out asking "How are the new friends?" Before realizing the situation, the creature sighed in disappointment and destroyed the death ray with a snap of his fingers. A girl just like him came out of the portal excited ignoring everyone and began to talk to the air. Klarion seemed to be following the conversation.

Danny watched Youngblood talking to Dani and Klarion, he knew that his cousin could be good company, but he hadn't contacted her before due to her travels and status as a halfa (the probability of destroying the world was there too); well, now Youngblood had two friends (that solved the problem) but- how did he prevent them from ending the world? Or worse, from terrorize innocent cosplayers?

But in his exhausted state, he slashes the knife in the air while babbling on about how he wishes there were easier ways to deal with his rouges. Accidentally causing his magical knife to slashes open a portal to a different dimension.

The Team Fortress 2 Cosplay meetup at Phoenix Fan Fusion 2023!

This year's meetup was absolutely AMAZING. We had a total of 26 people come to the meetup, blowing last year's record of 12 people out of the water! We have yet to pass Salt Lake City Comic Con 2022's record of 37 people. But next year, I hope we can have an even bigger meetup! Although, we definitely need to find a new spot not in the way of everything. I apologize to the Phoenix Convention Center security staff for our massive inconvenience.

This year, we had two totally new characters join the meetup! We finally have a Ms. Pauling and Saxton Hale!

And our Saxton Hale was just as strong as the Australian fella himself...

And of course, the video where I told everyone "You already know the answer to this one!"

I just had a trippy ass dream where I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or not, and right now I'm still sorta adjusting, but there was a non nightmare part where I was at a convention of some sort, and there were cosplayers, but Eddy was there? But he was an adult, and he was at a table typing on a desktop computer, he looked distraught and he was on Discord and he was talking to one of my friends because he was on MY Discord account, and he was apparently telling people about how I cheated on him?? I knew this, so I said something like "nuh uh uh!" Or "no you don't!" As I gave his hand a little pat, before I took the computer from him and folded it closed like a laptop computer, which was weird because it's a desktop computer and you can't fold those?? But I closed it and Eddy was just sitting there flabbergasted.

Kisara and Mokuba sacrifice movie nights to watch Games of Thrones instead with Seto. They entice him to watch with the promise of dragons.

Seto sits on the couch with Kisara. He asks her, “When do the dragons show up?”

Kisara curls up closer to him and pats his knee. “Just keep watching, Seto.”

Mokuba, sitting on Seto’s other side with a bowl of popcorn in his lap says, “Maybe we should’ve started with House of the Dragon.”

Watching Daenerys on screen, Seto asks Kisara, " Is she who you cosplay as?"

"Yep. How do I compare?"

Seto says, "You’re more beautiful."

Blushing, Kisara says, " Thank you, love. " She kisses him and he returns the affection readily.

Mokuba deadpans, "Do I need to leave the room?"

Kisara is sleeping next to him, her head on his shoulder. Mokuba, who moved to the love seat several episodes ago to sprawl out, is also asleep. Seto can hear his snoring from where he sits.

He agreed to watch the show because he wanted to make them happy and because he really doesn’t care what they watch. He just enjoys spending time with them and unwinding from work. He keeps watching long past they’ve fallen asleep, despite how easily he can turn off the TV, because he needs to watch one more episode before bed.

The next morning when Kisara asks if he wants to keep watching he says, “Yes.”

“Really?” She smiles at his answer.

“I’m invested now.”
