OK but Aziraphale is such a CUNT in this scene.

Like, I know his "you're being silly" is so soft and whatever, but in the context of this scene it's an awful thing to say. He's being so dismissive of Crowley’s PERFECTLY VALID FEELINGS. Like, even if Gabriel's presence wasn't fucking scary, even if there was no way on Earth that Gabriel could be faking (and uh, knowing that asshole, that's a definite possibility) or that he could smite Crowley, either on purpose or accidently, (and uh, we don't know what smiting does to demons but we can assume that it probably fucking hurts), even WITHOUT all of those perfectly valid scenarios, there is the simple fact that Crowley is fucking terrified.

Those are his feelings. No matter what the facts are, that's how he feels. And Aziraphale just DISMISSES them, like Crowley's an idiot.

Compare that with the scene after Job, where Aziraphale is terrified that he's Fallen. Crowley starts making fun of him, but then when he sees how upset Aziraphale is, he changes to compassionate immediately. Like flicking a damn switch.

Like, I'm sorry. But Aziraphale. Come on dude. Your friend is scared, he's getting drunk alone and he's scared, and I know you don't know he just had a revelation about the fact that he's in love with you which makes all the fear he has over losing you a thousand times worse, but come ON. Be a fucking friend and give him some fucking compassion the way he has always done for you.

Like. It's no wonder Crowley goes and threatens Gabriel after that. He's so scared he's on the edge of unhinged, and Aziraphale's treatment of him here only makes things worse.

Just. Ugh.

What started off as a simple submission for @kagejima's weekly Sukuna Sunday event spiralled into something so much more. As somebody who likes to be organized, and for easy reference, here are the works (mostly written by Rae) that have been compiled for these characters:

Bodyguard!Sukuna: The man that started it all. Simply put, think grumpy knight being assigned to the princess of the kingdoms and him falling in love with her. part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5 *this is in the order of when these ideas were posted. With regards to continuity I do think the best way is to read, part 1, 5, 4, 3 then 2.

Swordsman!Nanami: One of the highest-ranking officials in the kingdom. Despite his status, the only reason he's in the kingdom is because of a certain seamstress who works in the castle. part 1, part 2 (this one is long), part 3. *keep in mind he was first introduced in part 1 of Bodyguard!Sukuna's story. The best reading order for this is to read through Bodyguard!Sukuna's parts first then, part 1, 3 then 2 of this mini-series.

Blacksmith!Osamu: A skilled weapons forger, who is friends with the two knights and doesn't expect to meet his match when delivering a commissioned piece to the princess. part 1 , part 2 .*he, like Nanami, pops up in other works as well. Duke!Sakusa: The cousin of the princess, who is not the best at sharing his feelings. Often finds himself visiting his friend, who happens to be a physician, even when he's feeling great because he wants to stay on top of his health and nothing more. part 1

Anyways, these men have a chokehold on me and I've literally bombarded Rae's asks and messages with thoughts of them this entire week. I love everything that we came up with and I just wanted to share the work with everyone. I mean these boys (and Rae) got me to write, which is an impressive feat. that line at the end of the movie when he's suddenly exploding, shouting, grabbing shannon and shaking him, screaming "I SHOULD FUCKING KILL YOU", scaring shannon to death because Driver is not one to ever lose composure. he's described as someone who never raises his voice, he's calm, he's reserved. he's quiet. but not when someone he loves is getting hurt. i'm someone he loves. i know he'd tear anyone apart if i told him what happened to me, what someone said to me, what people have done to me

i want him to do that on my behalf. get angry, i mean. enraged. im sick of people walking all over me. im sick of giving and giving and giving and being used. im sick to death of it. i want driver to be so angry on my behalf that he gets ready to throw himself at someone, while two other people have to struggle to hold him back while saying - no, stammering - Driver easy, easy, take it easy, calm down, hold on just a minute, because he's thrashing and yelling himself hoarse, sweat dripping off of his forehead, gnashing his teeth and curling his lips so far back you see his gums. he's out of his mind with rage, trembling, every few seconds he's trying to lunge forward, normally such calm and steady hands curled into fists ready to swing, his shoes scraping noisily against the pavement while he's trying to run at them but he's being held back -- shouting "you hurt my girl? you hurt my girl? i should kill you. i should fucking kill you!"

sadly, i think life sucks. Today is shit, last week is shit, next year looks shit, and nothing seems to go in my favor. I experience so much body detriment, and I hate the way the people I love eat, and everyone's lives seems so in my way. I never get to relax, and my hands are dirty, and there's sense of dread that fills my head about the people I've lost because of who i am. I will never kiss him properly, i will never be able show their body the love it deserves. And i will never again wake up in her bed, and never again gaze into her soft brown eyes and tangled hair, and never again regret the late night she and i had before this morning and laugh about it, and never again think about what things i want to buy her as her sleepy body is tangled in the mess we made of the bedsheets.

Tomorrow the sun will rise. And the wind will blow. And the people will work. And the cars will drive. And the sandwiches will taste good. And the trees will shake, the animals will eat, and skittles will be made in their factory. And the life we live will keep living.

Things will change, and maybe for the worse. We can not let yesterday or tomorrow or even today affect right now. And maybe right now is this moment, this minute, this day, weekend, week, month, season, year. But whatever it is, for you, do not let your view on right now fade away.
