Sirius Black narrowed his eyes at the sight before him.

His best mate of since first year and his girlfriend of just over a year sat there practically giggling together.

You'd always got on well with the boys but it would seem that over the last week or so you and James had decided to become the best of friends.

At first, Sirius had found it comical when he'd walked in and James was letting you paint his fingernails because you'd been kinda sad that day.

He knew his best mate was a good guy and he genuinely did like to see most people happy.

Especially if they were important to him and the one's he cared about it.

So Sirius hadn't really thought much else of it.

However, the next day he'd walked in his dorm to find the two of you again, laid back in his bed, eyes closed as your faces were covered in a bright blue face mask.

Sirius had teased the both of you for it relentlessly and honestly hadn't thought too much of it.

James had had a rather nasty pimple that day anyway and everyone around knew that you knew all the tips and tricks for anything beauty related.

"It's a muggle trick but I swear by it." you had told him. "Toothpaste on it at night to bring it to a head. Gently, and I can not stress this enough, Jamie love, GENTLY pop it the next morning. Clean it and immediately begin moisturizing. If you don't it'll scar." you had told him and he had nodded with rapt attention.

Sirius who knew you know your stuff very well didn't question it but that little nickname had turned his stomach just a tad.

Jamie, love.

He didn't know why it bothered him so much but it had.

The next day, he'd literally nearly had an anuerism when he found you sat across James' lap as he let you put makeup on him.

He refused to say anything and had to force a smile when you turned James' made up face to him.

"Isn't he stunning, love?" you'd asked him.

He hadn't said anything and James fluttered his newly mascara coated eyelashes at him.

"I just knew this would turn out great." you had said. "You've got lovely eyes, Jamie, love. And great lashes!"

Sirius physically twitched at that name again and he'd drawn everyone's attention to himself when he literally stomped up the stairs to the dorm.

You tried to see him later on that night- even retrieve him for the evening meal but he wasn't having it and made Remus tell you that he wasn't feeling well and wanted to sleep.

You knew this to be a lie because even if he wasn't feeling well the first thing he'd do is actually make one of them find you to cuddle and coddle him until he felt better.

It's just the way he was and you wouldn't trade it for the world.

You were a bit put out for the rest of the night and worried after him but you knew him well enough to know that you couldn't push him.

He'd freak out if you did and so you just waited for him to come to you.

Decided not to draw attention to it and just let it go ... for now.

So needless to say... that morning you carried on as usual, perhaps even a little chipper because the pictures you'd taken of James had officially finished developing.

Loads of photographs of him prancing around in his full face of makeup wearing your clothes and being the drama queen he is.

You rushed the Great Hall and practically tackled him.

"'Ello, there, love." James had chuckled at you when you excited produced the pictures and the two of you laughed at the silly little adventure.

Meanwhile, Sirius' blood continued to boil as he sat across from the two of you.

So much so, in fact, that his face had begun to change colors.

It eventually gained your attention and you looked at him alarmed, "Siri, love, are you ok? You don't look so good, ba-"

"No, apparently not!" he snapped.

Your eyes widened at his outburst.

Sirius had never raised his voice at you.

He was rarely snippy with you because you always gave him the space he needed and then doted on him when he was ready.

So to have him so angry and it seemingly directed at you, threw you a little.

"Hey, Pads, what's wrong?" James said.

"Oh, you shut it!" he snapped at him and James lifted his brows at him. "I don't know what's worse. The fact that my girl is after my best mate or that my best mate is after my girl."

"Excuse me?" you gasped. "What on earth are you on about?"

"Oh come off it!" he seethed, seemingly unaware that he had gained most of the hall's attention. "You were literally in his bed the other day! In his lap after that!"

"That's out of context, Sirius and you know it!" you said, offended that he would even insinuate such a thing.

"You know, everyone gave me hell about dating you." he said venomously. "Said I could never settle down and get with a good girl like you. Doesn't look like I'm the one who couldn't settle down does it?"

The boys just stared at him... along with just about everyone else.

You leveled Sirius with a look that he had never seen grace your angelic features and for a moment he knew he fucked up.

For a second, he thought you were going to cry but you simply lifted your chin.

"Sirius, I love you but you are being really, really stupid and mean right now." you said and he narrowed his eyes.

He opened to his mouth to say something but you cut him off-

"No, don't you even. You just shut your mouth." you snapped and he flinched.

You never talked to him that way.

Ever.

You'd only ever been so sweet to him, even long before either of you had expressed an interest in each other.

"I love you." you said. "This is about as obvious as the fact that Lily is a redhead. And don't you think that it would be nice when you love someone to get to know those that are important to them a little better?"

Sirius just stared at her and she shook her head.

"I've always got on well with the boys. Remus and I have been fairly close since third year and after Peter started dating my sister, we learned alot about each other. The only person who I didn't have an extremely close bond with was James. Which is exactly the person that I wanted to because he means so much to you. He's your best mate. He's like your brother. He's important to you and you're important to me... therefore HE'S important to me."

Sirius' jaw tightened as things began to click into place.

"And yes, we have been spending a lot of time together." you said. "We've invited you multiple times because I didn't want you to have to juggle spending time with me versus your friends. I was trying to merge it all together. For you. And yes, we do have fun. We have a lot of fun. I don't have any brothers and my sister never let me do makeovers on her so when James didn't mind and actually enjoyed spending time with me, I jumped at the opportunity."

Sirius began to curl in on himself a little when he realized.

"Sirius, I love you." you said. "And I want those that are important to you to like me. I want your family to like me. And you're family isn't your last name. I couldn't give two fucks about them. But James and his parents are your family. And that's important." you said taking a shaky breath.

No one said anything for a moment and you just shook your head.

"Peter." you said gaining the boys attention. "Will you help me look for your girlfriend? I think I need a little sister time."

Peter nodded and the two of you left the Hall... which promptly burst into whispers of gossip as soon as you did.

James gave it all of about three seconds after Sirius sat back down before he kicked the shit out of his shin.

"OW!"

"You shut it." he said reaching over and pulling Sirius in by his collar.

"Get off!"

"No, I will not." James said. "First of all, how dare you ever think I would do such a thing? I'm your best mate and I'm obviously hopelessly in love with Lily. Who by the way, did not seem to be phased by Y/N and us hanging out because she has some common sense."

Sirius finally shoved James off him.

"And two, I could murder you right now for even thinking that Y/N would ever hurt you." he said narrowing his hazel eyes. "You know she adores you. You're literally her favorite person in the entire world."

Sirius said nothing for second, "I know. I'm sorry."

James just nodded, still honestly a bit miffed.

"And for the record, I enjoyed spending time with her too." James said. "I don't have any siblings. We're like brothers now. You, me, Remus, Pete. But I've always been an only child. And I certainly don't know about what it's like to have a sister. It was fun to let her play 'dress up' on me so to speak."

"I'm sorry, Prongs." Sirius said, feeling worse by the second. "I didn't realize."

"I know you didn't." he said. "And we're fine, Pads. But you have to know I'd never do that to you. You're happier than I have ever seen you with Y/N. She wanted to get closer to me for you. And I wanted to get closer to her for you as well. It just so happened that we ended up clicking really fast. I like spending time with her. She's like a little sister to me now."

"Except for the fact that she's older than you." Remus said with a smirk trying to ease the tension.

"Shut it, Moony." James chuckled.

"I should go find her and apologize." Sirius sighed.

"You should definitely apologize." James said. "But I'd let her cool off a bit. Let her talk to her sister. You hurt her feelings and she probably doesn't want to talk to you right now."

Sirius' heart broke a little at that.

"But I have to make it up to her." he stressed.

"Oh, you're going to." James said pointedly before a smirked worked it's way onto his features making both Remus and Sirius lift an eyebrow at him.

"We're going to have a pamper night." he said matter of fact. "Complete with facials, nails and hair styling."

"I don't let anyone touch my hair." Sirius said automatically.

It was true.

He didn't.

"You're going to let that precious angel do whatever she wants to you hair and you'll shut your trap about it." James snapped. "Now, quit being a toad and eat your breakfast. We've got a busy day of planning ahead."

Sirius didn't feel like eating and just poked around at his breakfast.

"And Remus, you will be participating." James said making the boy's jaw open and close.

"But I didn't-"

"I don't want to hear it." James said. "Pamper night in our dorm tonight. Now, excuse me while I figure out what we'll need."

And with that he was off to join Lily, Marlene, Alice and Dorcas to discuss the plans.

All four of them were in, of course and they spent the rest of the Saturday collecting what they'd need.

Later, that evening after a much needed cry with your sister you began to make your way towards the Great Hall for supper.

You weren't really feeling it to be honest but you knew you needed to eat so you figured you'd just get it over with and then go to bed.

Maybe tomorrow would be better.

However, you never made it there because you were intercepted almost instantly by Marlene and Dorcas who claimed that they had a fashion emergency in the dorm room.

"Guys, I'll look in a bit. I just want to grab a quick bite and then go to bed. But I promise I'll help you sort you fashion catastrophe in a bit." you had sighed.

"It can't wait!" Marlene had said. "I have a date tonight and I'll be late if you don't help me!"

"It really can't." Dorcas agreed and you groaned but let them drag you to the tower anyway.

As soon as you stepped foot inside you were tossed over someone's shoulder and being carried up the stairs to the boys dormitory.

After some wiggling, you discovered that it was in fact James who'd kidnapped you.

"James, listen, I love you to death and all and just cause Sirius and I got into a fight doesn't mean we'll stop hanging out but I really don't know if facials is gonna help anything right now considering."

"Oh ye of so little faith." he said with an impish look.

You simply lifted a brow at him. "Really?"

He smiled, "Listen you've had a rough day. So we've got a bit of a surprise for you."

"We?" you pressed and he simply yanked you into their dormitory.

You furrowed your brows at the room.

It was covered in more beauty products than you'd ever seen in your life as well as more snacks that you even thought were possible.

All four boys were there as well as the girls and in the middle, looking rather sheepish, was Sirius.

"Hey, love." he said.

You just looked at him for a moment and said, "Hey."

"Listen, I-"

"We're starting with hair masks!" James announced.

"Yep." Lily said joining his side. "So Sirius, you're first. Y/N, wash his hair. You're the best at it. Off with you!"

The two of you were shoved into the small room adjacent to the boys dorm and you glared at the door.

"Suddenly, I am remembering why it was a blessing that I never had a brother." you grumbled and Sirius couldn't help but chuckle.

"Eh, he has his moments." he said and his hand came up to hold you cheeks, "Baby, I'm sorry."

"I know." you said.

"And not just a sorry son of a bitch." he teased. "Although, still true."

You couldn't help but laugh and he smiled, a thumb tracing over your cheeks.

"There it is." he whispered. "My favorite thing in the whole world."

You simply looked at him for a moment and finally let out a breath, the tension easing out of you.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel left out, Sirius." you said.

He shook his head, "No, love. I was being stupid. I just couldn't see the forest for the trees. What you were doing, the both of you, was really nice. And if you and him ending up bonding and having some kind of cool brother sister moment, then that's great, baby. Honestly. I just got a little jealous."

You nodded and peered at him through your lashes.

Making him absolutely weak like you always did when you did that.

"Are we ok now?" you asked, softly- just a little fear trickling into your voice. "Because I love you, Siri and I don't wanna fight with you anymore. I just want us to be ok again."

He melted and cradled your cheeks in his hands, bringing your lips together in a sweet kiss.

"Of course we're ok, baby." he said, resting his forehead against yours and staring into your eyes.

"Ok." you said, a little smile tugging at your lips. "You, uh, you gonna let me wash your hair?"

He sighed and winked at you, "I guess I kinda owe you."

You grinned mischeviously and shrugged, "I mean, you don't but I want to play with your hair so I'm going to play into this and let you think that you do until I've had my fun."

He laughed and you set to work washing his long, thick locks.

His eyes rolled back as you scratched his scalp and he looked up at you from his spot on the floor by the tub as you poured water over it to wash it out.

"This does kinda feel good." he admitted.

"Yeah." you shrugged. "I know."

You gently squeezed the water from his hair and he handed you a towel but you threw it at the door aggressively.

"No!" you said, clearly offended by such a notion.

"You want me to walk around like a wet dog?" he laughed.

"No, but we can't use a towel on your hair." you said, "It'll ruin the curl pattern."

"My hair isn't really-"

"Yes it is." you said. "I know it because when you play Quidditch and you get sweaty it stays to curl. You just brush it while it's wet with a vengeance so it doesn't show."

He lifted a brow at you again but let you wrap his hair up in an old clean t-shirt anyway.

"Don't brush when your hair is wet by the way." you said. "It can cause breakage."

"You're amazing you know that?" he said and you just nodded.

"Yes, now out with you. Go let one of them put a mask on your face. Be sure to let them know you want something with honey and preferably almond oil. It will make you glow as well as other things." you said.

Sirius just smiled and pecked your cheek, "I love you."

"I love you too, lovebug." you said. "Now send James in so I can attempt to do something with his rat's nest."

Sirius barked out a laugh before sending James in and settling down for Lily to give him a face mask.

"Not a word." he said when she smirked at the pink shirt in his hair.

"I wasn't gonna say anything." the redhead smirked.

"She said to ask for something for honey and preferably almond oil. For glowing skin or something like that." he said.

Lily smirked evilly and produced a pink face mask which made him sigh but he let her do it anyway.

Not long after, James emerged from the bathroom, hair wrapped in a purple shirt and ready to be pampered.

Dorcas approached him and he hissed at her.

"No one touches my skin but my little evil genuis." he said, yanking you along with him.

He flung himself across his bed, "Now work your magic, you skincare enchantress! My body is ready for your secrets."

"Prongs..." Sirius said with a warning but a smile still tugged at his lips.

You smiled softly and pecked Sirius' lips before turning to James and covering him in a green face mask.

Sirius watched the two of you for a moment, cutting up as siblings would do and he realized that he was actually really happy.

Everyone he loved was in this room and having a good time together.

The love of his life and his best mate were getting on really well and he never been so at peace.

He didn't care if you wanted to dress him up as the Queen of England for the rest of his life.

He'd let you do it just to watch you laugh like that for the rest of his life.

i think it’s really like... sweet in a way that both of them are sort of dancing around this like there are so many feelings there and they’re just sort of clinging to each other and the familiarity of their bond without pushing it into anything more even incidentally. i think it’s v much a testament to the writing that their relationship and what it is/what it could become isn’t overwhelming to either of them in moments like this. it all just feels very authentic and I love this fic so dang much for it

They met at Judith’s mother’s debutante ball and hit it off. It was, what they perceived to be, a match made in heaven. But that’s always easy to say – it’s harder to prove when a good night culminates in an unexpected pregnancy. To avoid any public scandal on her part, Judith’s mother and father married before she began showing and moved to Mapleview where she would become an excellent mother and he would live up to his brother’s standards by… he was still figuring it out… maybe making the next great scientific advancement? or writing the next great American novel?

Sadly, in spite of her lifetime’s worth of training, Judith’s mother… proved to lack natural maternal instinct. Perhaps it was passed down from her own mother, transgenerational trauma beginning long, long, long ago. Judith’s father was so consumed with his grand ideas that he hadn’t the time to help! Between becoming the next Walt Whitman one day and the next Albert Einstein the next, all while working for his father-in-law, he just didn’t have any time at all!

Their marriage grew strained and, as Judith grew, they made it even clearer that she was the cause. If she, herself, didn’t do something spectacular with her life, then it was all for nothing!

Her father wasn’t forced into the Vietnam War as a part of the drafting lottery. No, as it grew bigger, as the army grew more desperate, as she began slowly maturing, as his marriage continued falling apart, he voluntarily entered in 1965, when Judith was seven. Before drafting even began!

Before he entered the war, Judith was the victim of plenty of degrading remarks and the occasional Unusually Odd Punishment (think bojack horseman w like beatrice seeing ~7y/o bojack take a cigarette and forcing him to smoke all of it bc he couldn’t waste a perfectly good cigarette!). However, the remarks grew more biting after he left for “the war effort.” The two moved back to California, her mother’s birthplace, to be closer to her mother’s father – an even better source of income when his sympathies were being played on.

...but it was suddenly back-to-work, no-sympathies-for-you when the war ended and Judith’s father was still alive… and, furthermore, when the war was lost.

With her parents’ marriage worse off than ever, Judith’s unconscious attempts to please them and live up to their expectations began sooner than they would have had the war been won. Or had her father been shot.

Probably.

Commercials began at seventeen, but they weren’t impressive. Minor roles began at eighteen, but they weren’t impressive. It wasn’t until she was picked up by an actual agent at twenty that she began actually shining, so to speak.

Which is actually a great accidental pun on my part, as her first big role was, much like JLC’s, in one of the first slasher movies ever made. Hoorah! But it still wasn’t impressive. It wasn’t big or prestigious, Katharine Hepburn wouldn’t have taken the role.

But what was even less impressive?

The pregnancy that followed shortly thereafter.

Her first thought was to find a doctor who ‘specialized’ in such ‘inconveniences.’ Between the knowledge that a lack of maternal instinct ran in her blood, all women in her lineage getting mistreated to the point that they were simply unfit, as well as the knowledge that she would have to immediately quit the career that had just begun if she wanted to raise the child…

But the father wound up being a hurdle. He was meant to be a one-night-stand, but he started showing up… again… and again… and again… until she relented and confessed to him that she was pregnant with his child (so she assumed, at least). He was insistent that she keep it… so the compromise became she wouldn’t abort it, but she would immediately hand it off to the man to raise on his own.

Daniel, named by his father, was born. Judith kept in occasional contact, but ultimately tried to leave that chapter behind her.

After that small bump in the road, her agent began lining up more career offers for her. They ranged from OK-I-guess to Not-Katharine-Hepburn-But-Close-Enough. So she clearly went for the latter ones!

Now, for someone who tried to stay clear-headed enough… it became pretty hard as she grew more popular, was invited to more parties, and… given the decade, was surrounded by cocaine! Thus began some more god-awful decisions, a list so long even Leo Tolstoy would put it down before he could finish reading it.

A few years through her increasingly successful career and she found out that she’s gotten pregnant yet again, this time being the result of a one-night-stand had during a borderline bender. For a few days, she obviously considered abortion again. But… how good would it be for her image if she cleaned up and had the baby… and, who knows! maybe she would break the chain of terrible mothers! if she was willing to sacrifice hedonism, then she was clearly doing something right! and… she also felt some remorse for barely keeping in contact with Daniel… so hoorah! replacement!

Turns out she also didn’t have that mothering instinct :\

But it was not, at all, for lack of trying. She never intentionally mistreated her child, Mia (named for Mia Farrow) – she had family days with her and hung out with her and… tried to figure out how to bond with her. She was never cruel like her mother or her mother’s mother or mother’s mother’s mother, so on and so forth and what have you, but… she was Innocently Insensitive. Still caught up in The Scene, there were some nights that were… very loud when she forgot Mia was trying to sleep and invited a bunch of people over.

Some hedonistic tendencies returned and she found herself allowing a nanny to care for the child more and more often. Never malicious, never cruel, even asked Danny Devito to be Mia’s godfather… but still wound up being a really bad mom.

When Mia moved out, she was beginning to realize she was too old to continue going down the road she was on – to continue making the same mistakes over and over. One child was college-aged, the other was… somewhat older, although she’d lost track of the years. Yeah, she sent birthday cards and made calls every year, but time had just begun blurring together��

As a side-note, this was also around the time she was encouraged to write a memoir. She wound up having to get a memoirist which is a wc!!

The “best thing possible” happened when her mother died a year ago. Her father had already passed, but that was in Fresno – a quick trip. Her mother died in Mapleview, where her roots were laid. Also pls picture her eulogy for her mother like the eulogy in “Free Churro.” Anyway...

So what did Judith do?

Up and disappeared!

It would’ve been a really excellent publicity stunt… if she’d ever returned.

She likes to pretend she’ll never return to Los Angeles. The mountain air is so clean and crisp, life is so much simpler, people are so much less… corrupt.

Alas… somewhere in the back of her mind, has many plans to return to her old life. But she needs to make amends first, right?

born in mapleview. parents were awful but also it was a case of transgenerational trauma so there are nuances there. father “abandoned” her and her mom to go fight in the vietnam war bc he wasn’t able to fight in wwii like his brother. came back and joined them in fresno and judith’s mom was like “well u guys lost.... cant say it was unexpected with someone like u fighting :\” judith was like “well i’ve learned i’m what ruined their marriage even tho i’m also the reason they got married so guess i’ll go make something of myself bc i want them to be proud.” eventually got cast in a halloween-esque movie, because of course. got pregnant, yeet’d it to the father, “it” being daniel. became a class-a hedonist. got pregnant again, but got clean and kept her, named her “mia”. was a pretty good mom for a while, then forgot that kids weren’t “used” to the 1980s/90s equivalent of modern-day raves. mia left for college. judith was like “wait,,, im too old 2 keep living this life omg.” mom died a year ago. was like “oh wow perfect excuse to come back to mapleview and pretend i never lived in los angeles ever in my entire life goodbye all ties and connections!!!”

PERSONALITY/MISC.:

spent the majority of her life trying to live up to the expectations set by her mom when she basically said “you better be something great to make up for being alive” + trying to unconsciously make up for ‘ruining’ her parents’ marriage.

ngl family took inspiration from the sugarman-horseman family in bojack horseman bc i just finished rewatching it and :\ i miss it :\ which, in turn, means there’s a tiny bit of muse inspo from the eponymous, but,,,,,,,, like she may not be a good person,,,,,,, but if u’ve so much as seen up to s2e11,,,,, she aint THAT bad.

further basis was fictional director kelsey jannings (of such fame as “women who love women who love recycling”) when she said that celebrities tend to stagnate at the age they got famous. and judith got famous when she was 20.

I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO MAKE IT EXCESSIVELY CLEAR THAT SHE NEVER HAD MALICIOUS INTENTS TOWARDS HER CHILDREN. she just knew she wasn’t ready to be a mother with daniel - it was terrible timing and she genuinely worried about how she would be as a mother ( considering how poor maternal instincts were... basically passed down through generations ) - and she didn’t know how to connect with mia, especially as an addict in the hollywood machine that was literally filled with drugs, thus proving her hypothesis that she would be a poor mother correct. like... I JUST NEED TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THERE WAS NO ABUSE INVOLVED. SHE AT LEAST DID BETTER THAN HER MOTHER WITH THAT ASPECT.

but, as marina once said, “[she’s] now becoming [her] own self-fulfilled prophecy. oh, oh no! oh no! oh no!”

Thoughts on 8x01

Once again this episode starts off with Dany shooting Jon glances, yet not having them returned. Tragic

The Northerners reactions to Dany riding up were gold. She looked so put off at not having people immediately bowing to her and I’m living for it

Missandei’s reaction as well was interesting. Wow they hate us

Dany’s self righteous smirk at people cowering from the dragons. Lovely, what a benevolent queen!

Jon hopping off his horse quick af without even thinking to offer Dany a hand because he’s so happy to be home and see his family. Lmao Aegon, who?

Sansa not having it with the empty flattery is my sexuality

Loving that the “apology” to Tyrion was more of a flippant oh, yeah sorry about that than something more heartfelt like the leaks were making it out to be.

I CACKLED when I saw that Bran was still out in the courtyard. Like someone wheel his ass inside, it’s cold out here! Poor kid

I don’t think Jon meant that “Sansa thinks she’s smarter than everyone” line as a jab against her. To me it came off as an offhand joke and as other’s have already pointed out, I think it was more of a reflection of what Jon believes Sansa thinks of him than anything else.

Also the fact that he even had to ask Arya if she ever had to use Needle shows how he doesn’t realize that they’ve all changed so much and even after the last two seasons I think this is a major reason why he seems to forget how capable and smart Sansa really is. Jamie and Sansa aren’t the only slow learners, it seems

But with that being said, STARK SISTERS STICKING UP FOR EACH OTHER 2K19!!

I’m her family too. Poor insecure bb Jon. I think this line gives insight to a lot of his insecurities and why he and Sansa butt heads often.

Don’t forget that. Serving those ‘Jon is a Stark and will always we a Stark’ vibes hard af!!

The dragon riding scene wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be. It’s definitely setting up the fact that Rhaegal is bonded to Jon now and it’s all happening before the parentage reveal gets out. Interesting.

I’ve already posted about this but DANY IS THE ONE THAT SAID THAT SHITTY 1000 YEARS LINE, NOT JON!! Lmao

All I could think about during the kiss was how awkward it must have been for Kit and Emilia. Poor bb’s

Jon and Sansa arguing? HERE FOR IT. I really liked the way Jon said “I brought home two armies and two dragons.” To me, it came off very much like he was saying I’ve done all of this, what more can I do to earn your approval. He needs to be validated by her so bad and it’s so precious. Also “she’s not her father.” Ten minutes later finds out she burnt a son and father together just like her father. That’s some goooood foreshadowing right there, mhm!

I wanted to cry for Sam. I felt so bad for him. And Dany was so cold throughout the whole thing, like she couldn’t spare an ounce of sympathy but let’s be honest, no surprise there. Also, all the antis who said sam’s not gonna care!! can suck my big toe

Anyone else get the feeling that Jorah might be torn here? He owe’s Sam, feels grateful towards him but now that Dany and Sam are at odds, Jorah’s gonna be caught in the middle of this. Super interested to see how that plays out

BRAN IS STILL IN THIS FUCKING COURTYARD?!

Jon being shocked at what Dany did because of course she didn’t tell him, they’ve had a total of like maybe seven conversations throughout the course of the entire show

That whole crypt scene was just odd to me. I felt like Jon was trying to rationalize to himself rather than to Sam why Dany wasn’t that bad and why he didn’t make a huge mistake in bringing her to the North because he honestly, truly believes the dragons are their last chance at survival. Doesn’t seem like someone trying to convince himself that his gf is a good person it seems like someone trying to convince himself that he didn’t acquire another threat in his quest to defeat the original threat. Poor guy just can’t catch a break.

Anyone else think that “Daenerys is our queen, that’s treason,” line sounded a little halfhearted or was it just me?

“You gave up your crown to save your people, would she do the same?” NO SHE WOULDN’T, WE LITERALLY SAW THIS HAPPEN IN SEASON 7!! THIS EXACT FUCKING SCENARIO!!

Love how Jon doesn’t answer that with a resounding of course she would because he fucking knows she wouldn’t since he y’know LIVED IT

JAMIE HAS ARRIVED!!

The Night King is extra af making wall murals out of body parts, can’t you just send a raven or something? Sweet baby jesus

Did anyone else feel like this episode was just kind of blah? Like it feels like they’re just trying to get the show over at this point, the parentage reveal was way lackluster and everything was just kinda eh. Maybe it’s because of the leaks, I don’t know but I sure hope the rest of the season will turn out better.

But one of my favorite Junkrat fics has him joining Talon so I can see that as a possible way we could meet (then again Reaper almost kills the reader in that fic bUT THATS NOT IMPORTANT HDNXHD) and I feel like my s/i would definitely be intimidated by yours at first but would try to get to know yours better until they eventually became pretty good friends! They'd especially bond over stupid humor hehehe, and your robotic animals would be the coolest thing to her and she'd probably ask if she can keep one. I think a double date would be a bit of a disaster though, because Jamie and Reaper would absolutely HATE each other, so I'd have to hold Jamie back from trying to annoy Reaper into attempting murder ydhxhdbd

ok talk about why clac.e didn't work pls -deamaia

Oof rant here we go. let’s hope it all makes sense because i ramble a lot when i rant. For me it’s the damn writing for them is why c!ace didn’t work, (the chemistry is another one but the writing drives me nuts) So in s1, c!ace was developed as a somewhat high school/your basic white YA novel couple and they stay like this for the rest of the series, they never grew out of it. Until like their last damn scene in 3x22Most of their writing always fell flat in s1, the moments were either down right creepy or just look like they wanted to bang the entire time, they were supposed to have like romantic stepping stones for their relationship and yet, there was none, nothing felt romantic (this can fall on the no chemistry thing as well but I felt like it was the writing as well). But there was some moments you could be like okay cute, but you can realize everytime they had that ‘oh cute’ moment damn Ruelle was playing in the background so we can just thank her for that. Like in 1x11 they had like this moment about what happened in the TWI universe, they’re talking about how this is real and shit I’m like you are trying to tell me that what they said in the AU world is what they felt? Sh!Jace was there for like two seconds and got stabbed! And sh!Clary legit faded out of existence for awhile there, how did she know how that Clary felt??? I was so confused it was supposed to be a romantic moment and yet it confuses the fuck out of me. S2 things just get worse because of siblings plot shit and the fact is they still try to move them along as a couple but just ended up making them have a brotherly-sisterly bond, and the fact is they probably could’ve ended the plot sooner but choose not to and show us Clary moving on with Simon and Jace sleeping with people to forget he’s in love with his sister. Tbh they forgot about c!ace until 2x14 and they suddenly remembered that they were endgame and rushed to get them back together, which some of their moments during that time was yeah sorta okay I still didn’t feel anything romantic going on for them, that fucking glow-y scene in 2x19 is scarred into my brain, that’s like supposed to be romantic-bonding for 2.0 of their relationship is just what the fuck. Without the special effects I would’ve hated to be a cast member watching them hold onto each other while a fan blows air, I would’ve walked off or just cried from how bad it was. And than we have the oh so famous c!ace scenes in 2x20, I still honestly can’t remember feeling for them here, like yeah he’s dead but hes gonna come back in like two seconds. And that damn “i love you” scene that should’ve been cut, one never addressed it, didn’t make any sense (was just there because someone was a little upset that Malec was gonna get a whole I can’t live without you scene) and two because I feel like because is might have been the road to that damn stupid ass shit Jamie gives them and therefore the other writers who actually have brains had to.So now s3 which is the start of everybody is tired of the unearned crap c!ace is given. Because here is when they start trying to build up c!ace (and s!zzy too) as this epic in love, meant to be couple, which is a lot of my eyerolls in 3a come from. You really don’t see it in the first episode but boy in the ones after it you do. The whole talk in 3x02? Like what the fuck where did that come from because I sure as fuck don’t feel like you have given those emotions off before and I don’t remember you looking like this in the s1/s2 writing where was that and also this is basically Magnus’s fucking lines from 2x07! I don’t remember what the fuck happens in 3x03 other than Izzy wearing that dress and the Malec/Maryse dinner. But 3x04 is just a fucking mess and it’s by our favorite writer Jamie!! Who wrote those incesty lines in 2x04! But she’s here writing lines out for c!ace that don’t make any fucking sense and it’s just for c!ace fans. like the whole “My love for clary is stronger than your magic” bullshit, just what the hell, that whole episode is basically telling me that they love each other, but they aren’t showing me because that’s how storytelling works, you gotta do both, Malec has it, it’s not that hard. And also I totally almost forgot that half of s3 was spent with Jace forcing Clary not to tell anyone about the wish, ooo couple goals, not. Than 3x05 happens, tbh I forgot most, other than the Malec drama with the stupid timeline which effects the whole damn show and the angel getting his heart punched out by Lilith and Jace getting spelled.But yeah that stupid ass two month timeline that effects the whole show because Alec and Magnus really began their relationship in s1, they just didn’t make it official to the whole world in s2. It really hurts c!ace and their epic love story they try to give us. Because how did they fall in love to the point where Lilith had to get Magnus to spell Jace, because he’s so in love with her that it’s stronger than the Queen of Hell’s magic???? Unless they’re trying to tell me that they either fell in love in s1 or during the time they thought they were siblings.Which is really fucking bad, so when did they fall in love?! They never showed me in the episodes’ writing. Anyways moving on, c!ace gets some more toxic moments and that another “I love you” scene which just had me on the ground because why Jesus. Do they do this to me. And than we have Izzy talking about how much Jace has changed since they met Clary which has me like this????? ‘Cause hm, well ever since Jace met Clary, he’s treated his siblings like shit and became even more of an asshole, and that’s stayed the same over the past three seasons? Where is the change? Here you see that they’re trying to make them seem like Alec and Magnus, who’ve actually changed since they met each other, c!ace? That’s nowhere in their writing. Then we have the whole 3x08 thing where he’s killing clary in his mind, which i have no words for that since i only watched it once. 3x10, good episode, no c!ace moments other than that fake ass cry and ‘cLAEEERY’ yell. And now 3b is where we get to see all of the book!c-lace moments that either don’t make any sense or are just plain toxic. 3x11 I basically skip all of the Jace-c!ace related moments mainly because i can’t stand his face and i watch this episode right before i go to bed so yeah. But it’s a good episode. 3x12, oh the famous shitty reunion that falls under bad writing and bad chemistry, I can’t tell if it was the writing or the chemistry for that one, the reunion should’ve been nice ass top tier but yet- we get weird ass smiles, barely any emotion because I know they do write like ‘the character feels happy’ some crap like that, because I remember the 2x20 script having something like that- but with c!ace nothing- just nothing. Just about how Jace wanted to take her to Paris, lol where in the fuck did that come from because he’s never mentioned that, nEVER. Than we got 3x13- lol my favorite episode (not) this episode was just a shitty filler, but the c!ace moments make me wanna sleep and gag which was all of the action I felt during one of their scenes. So in this one they are back together and trying to figure out how to get the rune off of Clary, because first she really doesn’t want to have s-ex with Jace, ‘it’s never gonna be just me and you, it’s him too.’- which they end up forgetting. Than we get the shittiest build up to a first time scene ever, because this just comes out of nowhere really I guess if you count the previous episodes as build up, but there’s no build up in this one, it just comes out of no where really. One minute she’s like I wANT THE RUNE OFF before I get the d to- i mean it’s YOLO, give me that d. Like????? WHERE. But here’s where we get a book-quote that doesn’t make any damn sense but we gotta do it. “I will love you until I die, and even after then” some shit like that, I can’t remember. Does she even say I love you back? But honestly here did that even come from, the writing makes me wanna go hide. And we also get the shittiest written/filmed worse chemistry after first time scene ever. Like it’s supposed to be romantic??? But the way its filmed and written is just so damn bad, all I did was gag my first watch and rewatch of it. Not to forget the whole it’s basically a incest three thing, because her brother decides to send her a message afterwards.And 3x14 which is just ughh, most of the c!ace ones were with her brother, and the fact is the little ice skating thing was meant to be cute, I guess but I really didn’t feel shit, they were barely in the next episode. 3x16, also known as the dumb and dumber part for them, because lets summon Lilith-, but also the whole Jace is able to bring her out of becoming evil works on paper, made me have a headache because how was he able to be the one to pull her back??? Like that trope is amazing but for c!ace doesn’t make sense, because they haven’t shown me that they are in love that much, or care that much. 3x17-3x18, I just remember him being there, that stupid wings shit and her knocking the shit out of him when she turned dark clary. Oh but the next one- me hate. We got Jamie once again proving that she’s a shit writer, because we got c!ace and drugs! And don’t forget the whole she’s gonna force herself on him, but don;t worry he can push her away, even though he’s about to pass out. (And never once address this) Barely of them in the next one, because we got another return of the “Until I die” quote that still doesn’t make sense. That I rolling my eyes again, now in 3x21/3x22 they didn’t actually piss me off or make me roll my eyes, because somehow the writing was finally somewhat good for them. But they had to throw the “Loving cells” quote and comparing themselves to Malec, which writers you aren’t trying to hide at this point you were trying to make them out to be next to the Main couple, when I was like I could like them. Their last scene is so damn good! Like punch in the gut. WHERE WAS THAT THE WHOLE TIME. Shorter story with the writing: C!ace suffered from tell us all about it but we won’t ever show you/unearned development. All because Todd and co were chickens who didn’t want to change the endgame relationships and didn’t write them good.Mainly in the end you can tell that like I said before because they fucked around with them, they had to give them the unearned writing, so they could match up with Malec. Because just like go through gif sets of them, most of what c!ace got is what Malec had before, except better writing and better chemistry. The chemistry is another reason- but I believe the writing is the bigger one in the end.

GoT Season 8, Episode 2: Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Thoughts

Like i am not even sure this episode's name is that or "The rightful queen" but I am going with the title I liked more.

I was fully intending of making a big ass Recap like I usually do but today I had a lot of work and I feel like everyone has already talked about the episode since it was leaked so I am just gonna talk about some scenes that I think will be relevant and my take on some shipping stuff.

Again I warn that I don't root for D Targy at all (but I do think she is an amazing character) and she annoys the heck out of me most often than not so... if she is your fave pls don't read this cuz it's not for you.

On Jaime Lannister

I feel this was a great episode for him as a character, while I do wish he would have said something about the wildfire on King's Landing or the Loot Attack I ultimately think that what he did say was the best thing in his PoV because he thinks D is the North's queen now that Jon bent the knee so ofc he wasn't gonna antagonize her that much when he was at clear disadvantage.

His chat with Tyrion was also very good, tho I feel in the books this will be more on a bitter note given Jamie's confession about Tysha, but yeah they are close once again and I appreciate that.

Every scene he had with Brienne had me swooning.Brienne defending him in the Great Hall. All those stares. The clear tension between them and the fact that Brienne doesn't know what to do when they are on the same side and he is not insulting her, so they still fight and pant around each other and I love it (honestly this kind of fighting is a lot like the Jonsa one because they have to get rid of that UST but they can't fuck or even kiss yet so they bicker and pant around each other). I noticed how he stared at Tormund and immediately knew he was intrested in Brienne. And ofc him knighting Brienne was the best of the episode for me (hence my preference of the title aluding to this scene).

On Sansa Stark

Curious that we don't get Sansa or Jon's PoV this episode, just them through other people's eyes.

The Great Hall scene: while I would have loved Sansa defending Jaime like in some fics, I think it does make sense that she feels resentment towards him and his family, but she still was willing to trust him once Brienne spoke on his behalf which says a lot for their relationship and how much Sansa has come to trust and value Brienne and her opinions. She was completely a queen in that scene, she even left the place frist not giving a fuck whatsoever about D.

Tête-à-tête with the gecko queen: Sophie Turner is an amazing actress. Ok so I loved she was telling Lord Royce she wanted to leave the Gates open as long as possible, such a compassionate queen, but also the moment D steps in I lived for Lord Royce clearly showing more respect and deference towards Sansa than towards D (I mean that the whole North respects Sansa as their leader is the very reason why Jorah asked D to talk to her). We see Sansa be closed off towards D in the beginnig even when D is trying hard to be sympathetic to sansa and bond over them being good leaders to their people (bihhh Sansa laughed and so did I cuz just how deluded is D to think she is on Sansa's level of good leadeeship), and D asks the question we have since ep 1 "does that (Jon's love for D) bother you?" And I am absolutely sure that the answer to that is yes, but Sansa was never going to show herself that much to someone she doesn't trust nor even likes (this girl out played LF ffs!!!) so she went for a non-commital answer (is not a yes or a no, she is justifying her distrust for D and appears not to be jealous but a concerned sister) D is appeased by this answer and tries to show Sansa that her and Jon's relationship is real (lmaoo) by stating just how much she sacrified her goals just for his love (like nice that she doesn't pretend to care for the people she wants to be queen of anymore, the Jonsa fandom said this since last season) and straight up says she is the one being manipulated by Jon, and Sansa's face is a poem, cuz you can see exactly the moment when she figures out that Jon is manipulating D!! We even get a smile of relief and promptly she catches herself and changes her behaviour implying she should apologize (but she never actually does) and even lauguing at how short Jon is (Sansa bites her lip tho 👀👀 and D's smile is so fake idk who she thinks she is fooling) but Sansa again brings up the North and D is visibly upset at that.

Scenes with Theon: I am just going to straight up say I do ship Theonsa and I have read fics of them, but I do not think it will be canon or that it makes narrative or political sense cuz it doesn't. Their reunion was heartwarming and beautiful (tho D jealous stare bothered me, like fuck off I wanna see my babies) Sansa was clearly happy at seeing Theon more like himself and having him want to fight for their family. Their scene with the soup was cute but I did not see it as shippy at all, there is definitely affection and care but I don't think it was shot as romance or a couple's montague, it was simply showing us all the different ways the characters we know spend this night. As much as it hurts me because I love Theon, I think it is possible he will die protecting Bran (I really don't want this, but it's a big possibility, cuz I know some big characters must die in order to destroy us as much as possible, and this scenes with Sansa might just serve that purpose) so I'll just drown in theonsa fics if that happens. Also, it kinda make me go 👀👀 the fact that they made the theonsa scenes so alike the jonsa s6 ones but without all that flirty stuff on the soup scene and that it was enough for the GA and some Aegonys to ship it while we know Theon like Jon also grew up with Sansa in WF. Idk it was kinda amusing to me.

On Jon Snow

Ok so this made a lot of sense to me, Jon avoiding D post parentage reveal is what seals pol!Jon to me, if he really loved her he would have gone statight to her in the night and confess this thing he found out while crying and looking for her support and being all hopless longingly staring at her but nope he doesn't even want to look at her (he is probably thinking how he fucked his aunt and shudders). I was also like 👀👀 when he pushed past D to follow Sansa, did they talk?? Did they fight again??? I am thirsty, but it was also a good thing Jon didn't interact with Sansa cuz it would give the game away too soon, as a matter of fact Jon doesn't seek her out like last episode as far as the audience knows and I think that is because he doesn't know what to do he is having an existencial crisis in the middle of the Apocalipsis, and Sam is like have you told her yet??? He knows shit could hit the fan at any minute. I loved his reunion with Tormund and Edd because I love Jon's smile and he has been just miserable since last ep, so yeah I need my boy to be happy.

Now onto the reveal, I think Jon genuinely thought he might as well just say it, D clearly seeked him out for some loving sexy times and Jon was not on board with that, he just couldn't keep it up with her cuz he doesn't love her, never has and now she is his aunt, he just can't do that knowing they are super related, also now D can't leave them (I mean she kind of can fuck off in Drogon and maybe Rhaegal will follow, but her armies can't leave, and they have the obsidian so...) . The fact he called her D@ny is so layered, for starters she told him straight up not to call her that cuz it reminds her of Viserys, so it connects them as family and upsets D at the same time. D straight up thinks that Bran and Sam would make shit up to usurp her (bihhh no one but u and Cersei gives a fuck about the ugly ass chair) and then when she sees Jon is saying the truth she is furious (so much for the aegony marriage fix up that her stans dreamed off, also can we fucking kiss boatie goodbye?? Cuz that sure as hell ain't happening) and Jon is baffled, he knows she wants the IT more than anything and shit but really??? They are about to die, and he has left more than clear to any one that would listen that he doesn't care about titles. Not only that but Jon and her are family now,and family is important to Jon, and she reacts like this???

On Gendrya

I was a bit wierded out cuz we have seen Maise since she was a kid (lmaoo i am like a year older than her) but more power to her for the scene, also I really love Gendrya and their interactions have been so flirty and charged with chemistry. I am worried about Gendry's survival, but I think he might live.

On everything else:

I loved Gilly and Dadvos's scene, it was so good and I wish they would give Gilly more lines.

Missandei and Greyworm making plans for after the war makes me worried one of them will die, also now that D will feel betrayed by Jon, I fear she will think GW and Missandei wanting to leave is also treason. I AM WORRIED. Also to ppl doesn't trust Missandei cuz she is with d and nobody in the north trusts Targs not even children.

Tyrion talking about destroying Cersei made him seem more Book!Tyrion than ever and I just shudderd. D literally never wants to take responsability for any desicion when she refused to fight for the north if Cersei didn't joined them. Also she would really have named Jorah hand??? She is dumb as a brick. His scene with Jaime, Brienne and co. Was cute.

Podrick was looking fine and his voice was really good. Also that Jenny of Oldstone song with all it's jonsa vibes 👀👀.

We’re happy to say that we received 81 prompts this time around, and we spent the last few days distilling all those amazing and creative prompts down to a list of 63 prompts! (If you’re keeping count, that’s far more than last year’s 48!)

As with last year, we had some repeat prompts and prompts that were similar enough that it made sense to condense them under one item. Additionally, most of the prompts we distilled down to a few words for the sake of having a concise list! Again, like last year’s fest, we’re providing the full text of the original prompts under the cut, in case you’re looking for more details to get started!

4. I want a fic that REALLY captures what it would be like if two NHL players were to come out in 2019. I'm talking teammate reactions, press reactions, social media, family, the whole shebang. I wanna see the real raw reactions and the struggle the guys would have to go through. I would also loooove if you could fit Jamie proposing to Tyler in there somewhere but it isn't a necessity.

Jamie has a hard time dealing with how public Tyler’s life is, with the insta stories and with random people filming him all the time. It feels like it’s only a matter of time before their relationship is exposed because of how much Tyler is in the public eye. Jamie doesn’t want to break up but it seems like that’s the only choice he has. He doesn’t want to do this so much that he calls a press conference and comes out of the closet.

Jamie and Tyler have been dating since 2014 and he’s tired of hiding it. So with Jamie’s consent he posts a cute photo of them being a couple and writes a heartfelt monologue about their story. And the whole hockey community blows up about it. And it’s kinda about how they deal with being and out couple and Tyler posting obnoxiously cute couple photos on his Instagram. Sorry this prompted is a mess I just want Tyler to be a troll and post cute cliche couple photos on Instagram of him and Jamie and the world loading their minds about it.

Jamie and Tyler come out to the team about them dating. Management wants to keep their relationship secret so they make Jamie fake date someone. And him and Tyler struggle with the stress that puts on them.

Amnesia angst for the win - Jamie gets a particularly hard hit, wakes up and can remember everyone except for tyler (maybe not explicitly, say they can *remember* them, but not remember that they've been dating for eight months now) cue tyler avoiding jamie because its too hard him to be around him

11. soulmate au! people are born with blackmarks - on their hands, their faces, their skin in general - the black marks is the first place their soulmate would touch them. Jamie was born without a mark. Tyler was born with two pitch black palms. Years after tylers been traded to the stars, Jamie falls asleep, and tyler can't help but run his fingers through Jamie's hair, just once, and then he looks down at his hand and the tips of his fingers are colored, and so are the few strands of Jamie's black hair.

12. Tyler thirst follows Jamie on insta. This can be hockey or non-hockey, but Jamie follows back and they start talking.

They’re both single, so why not go for it? Alternatively, one is a queen and the other is a member of the pit crew.

i like it best when my ships are tightly interwoven to the core themes of the story, and this is an stellar example of it. the whole poignancy of the story relies on the complexities of their relationship… how they handle the moral dilemmas they are presented with, how their bond changes who they are, how it directs their individual quests for “the greatest good”, etc… honestly, i say this all the time but it bears repeating: xena as a show would be boring af without gabrielle there to give MEANING to the shit xena does. this is a large reason of why im uninterested in wonder woman and phenomenons like her. the show would be nothing without the ship. it is everything.

another big draw is that the fandom has produced so many works of analysis, literature and art on the two of them that you will never run out of it. their story can go on literally forever and ever a la holmes&watson and pastiches. i feel absolutely overwhelmed w/ the amount of stuff out there and it is the best feeling.

i have 2 things that prevent me from shipping it as hard as other doctor/companion pairs:

1) i will say imo it isn’t all that it is cranked out to be by the PFW. romana was very much sidelined in the same way other companions were in the classic era, and many times it was just the more infuriating than with other companions because she should be able to be on top of things all the times, but the writers (on the tv canon at least* im sure this is different in the audios) still underused her so much and.

2) the parts of “anti-newvian” classic fandom that i would clash often with would be really into it so i developed a slight irrational prejudice for it lmao (not unlike two/jamie), often theyd ship it for the same bs reasons moffat ships reinette/doctor so (”he could ONLY settle with someone educated and classy liek this”)

nevertheless lol both 4/R1 and 4/R2 were p cute and i cant wait for that sweet sweet 13/romana content.

also sometimes in the wild youll see people being like “siempre pense que franco debio terminar con florencia, era mejor para el” and im like noooo. franco was so posesive and they werent good for each other pls stop.

some stuff that was in The Mission sequel that I deleted for people who didnt read it while it was up hhh

at the end of phase 1 when the band broke up over the failed movie murdoc and stu took a trip to mexico (eyyy canon divergence whaddup there’s a lot of that yeah) none of that stupid choking thing happened obviously but yknow damon and jamie have their heads up their asses so

the sequel was just like a collection of interviews giving general info on what the au would be like from phase 1 onwards especially stu and murdoc’s relationship so

phase 2 was a big phase for them like there were marriage rumors even pregnancy rumors (Murdoc hadnt come out as trans then because it was the early 2000s and she could pass as cis) and they were going real strong save for some jealousy problems (I think stu proposed like three times and nobody took him seriously so there’s that too)

can you believe i had a feel good inc one shot planned that involved stu getting jealous over murdoc being surrounded by half naked buffed men (I imagine murdoc wore a 70s siouxsie-esque outfit you know the kind) and they can’t finish the shoot because hes so distracted and at one point he takes murdoc up to the toilets somewhere and has sex with her in a stall but he apologises afterward for being so difficult and murdoc is 1) flattered that he’s jealous she’s not used to her boyfriends being this possessive and also 2) baffled that he’s sorry about it cus usually her boyfriends are just assholes so, in conclusion, they couldn’t finish the filming that day and the crew is sick of these lovesick kids

phase 2 was gonna be a real bonding phase for noodle and murdoc too because noodle’s basically adopted murdoc and russel as her parents (stu feels real left out but he tries not to be a twat about it) and its all sweet but also foreshadowing for what comes next and yeah

el manana happens

stu and murdoc break up over el manana because of lots of reasons that im too tired to explain atm

in phase 3 murdoc becomes real depressed over losing her adopted daughter and her boyfriend and tries to contact russel but he's also depressed and so she gets drunk and up to trouble

making cyborg gave her a real episode because 1) triggers the memory of her own mom and how she failed as one for noodle and 2) dysphoria but she becomes really attached to cyborg regardless

pl/astic beach is her way of recreating noodle’s floating island yknow

murdoc finally comes out as trans in phase 3 because no one can bother her about it whilst she’s on an island

i was (and am) conflicted on a lot of things for phase 3 like how she meets up with stu considering their very, very different past so he just kind of showed up??? lmao

they’re actual bitter exes through the majority of phase 3 but then in that itunes interview they have that cliche miraculous make up and they kissed and ignored the interviewer I loved it so much cus it was so dumb but strangely satisfying and the most in-character I wrote them I hate that I deleted this sequel

they get accidentally split up again at the end of phase 3 you’ve read those books yo

so far I think they’d be out and proud about being queer in phase 4 idk I haven’t thought about this au in ages but I love it again pls ask me questions about it if you want

( though she doesn't really know it ( she’s always suspected, but there’s no real way for her to check ), makena has some level of probability manipulation, inherited from her mother. for her, this manifested as doing well in tests she didn’t study for, but stressed about until her mutation kicked in, or being unusually good at convincing her parents to allow certain things, or… dot dot dot. a lot of lucky coincidences, if you will, have dotted HER life - but for this character, just being in the vicinity of the girl that doesn’t like them and who they certainly don’t like either ( reasons tbd ) turns their luck sour. she projects onto them unknowingly, twisting their luck and turning it bad - meaning that when they’re around kena, they’re FAR more likely to suffer some pretty horrible happenings. maybe they realize what’s happening, based solely on knowing about her mom. maybe not, and it’s something that needs to be discovered. either way… who’s to say how they’ll solve it?)

( victoria is just the latest in a line of traumatized students to begin attending the school / living in paragon, but… when i say she’d really benefit from having someone who’s trying to listen and understand and help her… i mean it. they don’t even have to be fully licensed therapists - and part of me kind of loves if it’s just someone doing this out of the goodness of their heart. she’s spent twenty six years being broken down into a shell of an actual human being, and under her “fathers” thumb, she’s never developed any sort of emotional or social or, well, normal skills needed to live, and really suffered every sort of abuse a person could. she certainly has some sort of stockholm syndrome from it all that’s going to be hard to break through, and she just needs someone who’ll listen, and hear her, and then.. offer a shoulder to lean on, or offer words that might help her through. )

( twenty six years spent being little more than another weapon in victor creed’s hands means that victoria has… a lot of blood on her hands. i dare say that none of it is blood she wanted to spill, but the fact remains that she never really knew enough torefuse. she’s done a lot of things she’s not proud of, and she’s hurt a lot of people - meaning she’s going to be spending a great deal of her very long life trying, in vain, to make amends in some way. i want for her to encounter people who she’s hurt. either directly, or that… she hurt their family or distant family before alongside victor, and either she recognizes them and seeks them out, or they recognize her and seek her out. give her people who shout and scream about what she’s done, and people who can’t believe she’s being allowed walk around and keep on living. give her people who know she was just another victim of a psychopath, who could maybe give her something she’s never had before - forgiveness - and make her feel a way she’s also… never felt before. give her all sorts of connections under this heading bc i think it’s unrealistic if she has none. )
