This is very important. Mostly to me but maybe you guys have been wondering this too idk but anyways:

How does troll reproduction work exactly?

Cuz I'm genuinely curious. I dont think anyone on the series production team has said anything and so far I've seen absolutely no one touch on this subject but as someone who's always had an interest in the habits of creatures (both fictional or otherwise), I kinda sorta maybe NEED to know this otherwise I'll never be able to sleep peacefully again

Full disclaimer that I'm specifically talking about the whole egg situation, I am NOT ASKING HOW THEY GET IT ON IF I WANTED THAT ANSWER I'D GO TO DEVIANT ART OR TWITTER OR WHATEVER LAWLESS PLATFORM GOD STEERS CLEAR OF. This discussion shall remain STRICTLY educational, thank you very much

But anywho. Let's dive in

So trolls come from eggs. This is basic knowledge. First instance of this phenomenon (as far as I know, I've only seen the movies) is from World Tour.

Egg pops out of Guy Diamond's hair, egg hatches and BOOM, (literal) baby. Now I understand that this whole sequence was probably just a gag and a way for DreamWorks to implement another (merchandisable) addition to the cast HOWEVER this sequence also raises a few questions

First off, as far as I know Guy Diamond has no partner (again: I haven't watched any of the spinoff shows). Either that or maybe the other troll was a sorta one-night-stand/no-longer-in-his-life kinda situation? Which is great either way cuz its shown he obviously cares for his son and we at Tumblr appreciate a loving single father no matter the circumstances, but if my former theory is correct than that would imply that trolls are capable of reproducing asexually. Like onions.

Now if that hypothesis is, as they call it, "cap" then that would mean that some sorta hanky panky has to go down before an egg comes into question. And if that's the case, does this mean that male trolls are traditionally the ones who carry the eggs?

But that can't be right, can it? Afterall, World Tour gave us yet ANOTHER egg scene later on in the movie

In Cooper's flashback, we clearly see Queen Essence being the one carrying the eggs meanwhile King Quincy is eggless. Now, as far as i see it, this could be explained either one of four ways:

1) Quincy was the one who actually produced the eggs and Essence is merely holding them for her husband (since her hair seems more fitting to be a makeshift nest compared to Quincy's)

2) Female trolls are the ones who produce the eggs. Guy Diamond is just a trans icon

3) Troll reproduction differs from genre to genre

4) There is a... *sighs* a/b/o type of dynamic among troll kind where certain trolls are capable of giving birth/siring children depending on a secondary gender

In regards to theory #3, this could also explain why Guy Diamond seems to reproduce and hatch an egg in such a short amount of time (like 5 seconds I'm pretty sure) as opposed to Queen Essence/King Quincy who's eggs presumably went a while longer before actually hatching.

Actually, speaking off eggs, are trolls the only species in their world that reproduce that way?

Because now that Band Together has officially been released, we now know for certain that it's possible for different species to crossbreed. Biggest example? Resident DILF Bruce and his giant muppet wife

On the train of your last ask, what are your thoughts on dragons sexuality?

Personally I think he’s Demi something (more attracted to personality than looks or gender)

Honestly because we don't know that much about the guy it's kind of hard for me to form an opinion, and if Crocodad Real then we're going to find out his orientation eventually (since we gotta find out if that was a contributing factor to the Dragodile Divorce (assuming they're divorced)) so I'm kind of okay with not forming any headcanons, since the headcanon could get thrown out the window

If anything, what interests me is how Dragon's orientation could impact the story-- like when I've discussed the Dragodile Divorce I have mainly focused on speculating how Crocodile would've felt about it, but how Dragon felt about that is interesting too

Because if he's straight then yeah that probably contributed to The Divorce, but how did Dragon feel about it? Learning that the love of his life is now happier than ever before after transitioning and being happy for him, while also losing the version of Crocodile that he fallen in love to begin with? No longer feeling thet draw to him because of the thing that has brought him so much joy and comfort? Knowing that even if they did take down the WG the family Dragon had hoped to have would never come to be, because their relationship would now end? And that it would be on some level his fault, because he's not attracted to Crocodile anymore?

Like even if Dragon took things well and the divorce happened "on good terms", it would've been sad for Dragon too.

But then there's a slightly juicier option, because what if Dragon was bi, but the Divorce happened under unpleasant circumstances (be it Dragon lashing out or things getting violent because he couldn't recognize Crocodile) and he didn't figure it out until it was too late?

Because you'd still have Dragon going through some if not all of those previously mentioned feelings, of having to come to terms with the version of his significant other whom he had fallen in love with no longer existed, the family had pictured in his mind would never become a thing, that those things were be kind of his fault and that he had hurt Crocodile deeply in the process. But then he'd be looking at some news article of Crocodile's most recent heroic stunt, seeing his handsome face with that usual, unbothered expression, and realizing he still loved him? That he still wanted to be with him, wished they were together, even now that Crocodile was a far more handsome man than he was? And then the realization that he's bi hitting him like a fucking truck But it's too late. The divorce already happened. He already hurt Crocodile too deeply. Knowing Croc, he had probably already moved on. There was no fixing it, the relationship was over. At least for now, trying to go see Croc could be dangerous due to the WG and not wanting to risk the WG finding out about them and The Kid and Croc would probably be furious if Dragon even risked that at this point, after what he had done. Oh, and then Crocodile killed thousands of innocent people attempting to usurp a country by manufacturing a civil war. Something Dragon can't forgive. (Not to mention, hearing he had been taken down by their own son... Oof)

But what if despite all that, and not knowing the full circumstances behind what had happened (like the fact that Crocodile didn't know who the hell Luffy was), Dragon still loved Crocodile? What then?

Context:

All across the AU, Goldies began to feel sick and lose control of themselves. This virus only affects Goldies. It first began in the medieval Aga Goldie AU of @project-isles and got passed on via the Goldie cafe. Nobody knows who made it.

The virus:

Enhance the host's magic, make the host blind and aggressive, the more the host has golden cracks across their body the more they are infected, Infected will go for the kill ( extreme danger for the Freddies) and need to be locked up, it is also making Goldies smile. Some Goldies could resist for some time but they will all be totally controlled by the virus. No antidote had been discovered.

Your only chances at survival: either run, hide or lock your Goldie. Only Goldies can be infected but they will damage or kill other non-Goldie animatronics.

Okay but i gotta know what happens between your mc and Sebastian in the future...what are their occupations? Do they end up getting married? Kids? Etc.

I've been holding this ask in my inbox for a long time because I wanted to really think about it and give a good thought-out answer! Hope that's okay 🙏

I had an idea that my MC and Sebastian would've gone to travel quite soon after their graduation - neither of them feel like the type of just "settle down" in one place. Both seem to crave learning more about the world and to live on the road!

I have a feeling either one or both of them would've worked as a curse breaker to fund their travels. They get to go on wild adventures while getting paid for it! It's a win-win situation.

They would've gotten engaged quite soon after getting together, but their engagement would've been a long one. Long engagements during that time period wasn't uncommon, but I guess what differed them from other engaged couples of that time is that they basically "lived together" and acted like they were already married (much to MC's father’s annoyance.)

MC would've after a couple of years on the road been open to get married but Sebastian would've felt like they had no hurry to do that. They're already together, they're also young, what a piece of paper would change? They would've had a few arguments on the matter but in the end they would've made a compromise that when they're done travelling the world, they could think about arranging a wedding of some sort (mostly for MC, Sebastian could care less on the matter.)

But their travels get interrupted by MC accidentally falling pregnant at some time in their early 20s (oops) and they quickly arrange a small ceremony to tie the knot for good, so the child is born in wedlock. Sebastian would've been a bit of panicked of becoming a father, getting cold feet and doubting himself if he's fit for that role. Those months would've been rough for both of them but once the child arrived, Sebastian fell in love immediately and swore to protect his child no matter what, wanting to give them the best life he could give.

After the child was born, they still had a thirst for continuing to travel, so they thought that they'd live quietly for a few years in a small village, for example, until the kid was old enough to travel with them, but then a few more kids announced their arrival and it kind of was left on hold. Sebastian might've gotten a job from the Ministry to provide for his new family, MC taking care of the kids. Then after a while they both would've kind of embraced their new life and they live happily ever after. (yay!)

And after the kids grew up into adults, they got to continue their adventures, but with less dangerous aspects.
