Carefully I ventured forth.

I had, after all, my own sly tricks to deploy.

There were certain conduits at my disposal.

Certain points of access, long since forgotten.

A stronghold becomes but a mousehole when unguarded.

And the circuitry of its gaze was not without vulnerabilities.

Perhaps it would catch a glimpse of me by and by.
